My original 20 Questions Challenge may still be found here: [link]

So hello there, fellow deviants! I've been having a totally super summer thus far, and I hope I've got another whole month left to go. Here are some random anecdotes and observations that I hope will give you all some idea of where I am life-wise. Or at least in my progress therapy-wise.

So, first things first, I've recently returned home after a week-long vacation at the guesthouse. It's a fantastic thing being up there. It's like camping with a really, really cool tent. Kitchen, real beds, plumbing, etc. And less bugs! Well, okay, USUALLY it means less bugs, but this year I was extra tasty so I can't count that as a perk. But yeah, the plumbing is from the lake... or the well, I'm not sure, actually, but basically it amounts to: Anything liquid that might go into your body has to come from a bottle. So brushing teeth, washing dishes, ice cubes = all with bottled water. Not so bad, but if any of you have been forced (forced!) to keep toothpaste in your mouth for 7+ minutes then you'll know what I'm talking about when I say I'm glad to be home.

I honestly didn't take out the camera too much whilst we were... housecamping. Mostly I was reading indoors, since it rained a bunch. I took some on the ride there, but until I can decide whether or not to photoshop a big powerwire thing out of one or not, I'm not posting those. On the last day, and I mean that literally (we were packed and on the way home) we stopped by the beach. It wasn't particularly cold or anything, but the wind was crazy. It was the kind of strong wind that made you feel like you could be picked up and blown away. It's not particularly wonderful on its own, but it inspired this crazy, roller-coaster laughing from me which I actually enjoyed. I got some nice shots there as well - it was really beautiful.

Those are three shots of about eight I suppose. I'm not going to submit them all at once to cut message-spam. Or I'm lazy. You can make up your own mind on that one.

Anyway! Moving right along, there's some other stuff I'd like to address, and will begin doing so right now.

First of all, the August 8th, I believe, is another Toronto devmeet. It's one of the first all-ages meets I've seen, so I'm definitely considering going. Distillery district scares the ghoulish activity right out of me, though, so I'm not sure I'll make it. I might be sick that day. I might not have anyone to go with. We shall see.
Anyone planning on being there? Let me know!

Next, the opportunity has been presented to me to attend the TOorontoFC v. DC United game later in August, and I could not be more psyched to maybe get the chance go. 4srs. I'm not sure if anyone knows this about me, but I'm a big TFC fan, and although I'd have preferred to see them against Columbus, I'm not complaining. DC is great, but not too great, so I won't feel like the outcome of the game will be ruined for me before it starts. Anyway, yeah, I'm little-girl giddy about this. Any MLS fans reading this, perchance?
ETA: So that didn't pan out. But that's alright! It gives me wiggle room to purchase fun crazyfan merchandise to wear at future games.

So yeah. Also, I've bought the Next to Normal Soundtrack and it is awesome. Seriously, some OBCR musical soundtracks are like... kind of bad, since the magical shindiggery that is so heavy in the live performances is kind of lost in an audio track. This is not the case with NtN and I highly recommend it to anyone with ears. Ooh, so happy. :3

Oookay, I'm winding this down now, don't worry. (I'll probably have a bunch of ETAs here since I've forgotten a bunch of crap,...

My original 20 Questions Challenge may still be found here: [link]

So I went to the Toronto meet on the dA World Tour stop. I didn't stay forever, because my cousin had to be home early and I was basically her ride. Anywayyyy, uhh... I stayed for about two hours? Enough for a crapload of group photos and I'm sure even more moments wherein I looked incredibly lame. Here are some of my observations of the time I spent at the event:

We got there on time. Yayyy. We stood around for a while, looking for someone with name tags. Finally, we found and got some. Then we stood around talking... to each other. My cousin isn't on dA, I brought her in case I was accosted or... I don't know, mostly moral support. Yeah, so I found the event awfully cliquey and not... not that friendly? I mean, everyone was nice enough, but nobody was like... making an effort to talk to people who were clearly by themselves. And the few people I tried talking to just kind of ran away like I was RUINING THEIR DAY BY SAYING HELLO OMG. Seriously, I said hi to people walking by on more than five separate occasions and every single time I got a weak "hi" back and they would just walk away with this look on their face like I just toppled their Jenga tower.

After a while at the top of the hill where everyone was meeting we kind of started moving down to the more open park-y area. Listened to $spyed talk for a while, and then some other idiots making noise and being stupid while he was trying to say stuff. Aaaaand then... uhm. There was an annoying kid trying to spray everyone with a sprinkler, which I wouldn't have minded since it was so hot... but the shrieks of girls (and some boys) was enough to make me wish he'd stop. From there we split into groups regarding our style of art. Digital art... traditional... I don't know, I couldn't hear anything after he said "photography group, follow this guy" and then I just decided that applied to me well enough and followed him! In the group we stood around... introduced ourselves, and then sat down to talk about the site with $Moonbeam13. It was nice, but that portion was for the site. People who spend loads of time here and browse and actually take the whole thing seriously.

I am not one of those people.

Anyway, that's about the point where I left.
I got in the car at about 4:00pm to drive home.
I had arrived at 2:06pm.
Two hours was not enough to make it worthwhile for me.
But then again, I didn't stick it out until the very end, so perhaps it got much better as the day went on.

So, my overall opinion:
-Not really the place for networking. Nobody introduced themselves to me. Nobody let me introduce myself to them. It's definitely a place to go WITH or TO MEET WITH someone you already know/talk to from the site. The people there already have their groups and it's not likely they'll let you into them.
-If you don't have much time to spend there, don't expect it to be fabulous. I'm not at all clear on what happened once I left, but it was fairly unexciting for the time I was actually there.
- If you're a fan of the site and spend a lot of time here, definitely go to one of these. There's so much for you to learn about and people you can suggest things to.
- Easily amused? Loud? DEFINITELY GO TO A MEET WOOOO OMG LOLOLOL WOO.

Anyway. Yeah. The end. That's my assessment.
I'll definitely go to another one of these in the future, but not before I "haz buddeh" to meet up with.

... I also have just found pictures of me from the event.
I look awful.
... And will most likely be joining a gym in the near future.
Ew.

Any Toronto-dwellers going? I think I might, but I'm absolutely petrified.

I think it might be different if I had already known somebody from online who I'd be meeting up with there. But now it's like... yeah. It's pretty scary, not knowing anyone. It's like the first day of school, except I'll probably not ever see these people again. So, while that may seem like a perk at first glance, I also am fairly certain that translates pretty directly to: ONE CHANCE FOR A FIRST IMPRESSION MAKE THEM LIKE YOU OR DIE.

If you replace "die" with... "live forever knowing there are random people across the country who may dislike you or have untoward opinions of you" then that's pretty accurate.

Who wants to take votes on whether I'll pee myself or vomit?
I vote vomit, personally... but then I've been wrong before.

I feel I should probably start with the obligatory apology for not having submitted anything at all recently. I must admit, I've felt a tad disillusioned with this site and its members, especially as of late. Certain people with bad attitudes and even worse vocabularies, who overreact and can't shut up and get a clue. This isn't a site to fight on, doing some sort of verbally violent man-dance to earn your boyparts. This is a place to learn and be better and by all means make some friends. Oh, and that pesky "art" thing.

Idiots are idiots.
Anywayyy...

I'm not here to be all meanieface. My pimpface is much more pleasant. And sparkly.
Now, as I've said before, if "OC Tournament" makes you giggle until you cry and break wind, YOU MUST SEE BRC NOW. I have the stampthing, and I'll link you.

News article: [link]
How to join: [link]
BRC intro/info (Flash): [link]

Now, the original deadline was the 25th, which you must already know was yesterday. It has been extended, and then re-extended because there weren't enough auditions submitted. I URGE YOU ALL TO TAKE A LOOK. Even a casual glance. It's a beautiful tournament and it would be even more so if we could get the roster of members it deserves.
Just consider your options.
If you've got a new character you want to build up, get to know a bit better, this could be a good place to start. Or, if you have an old, dusty character who is probably bitter and angry with you because you haven't paid him any attention lately, this may be a good way to make things up to him. Or her. Or yourself.

So. Give it a shot. I'm on as a judge. I want to see people participating. JOURNALSPAM TIEM. Oh yeah.

My original 20 Questions Challenge may still be found here: [link]

So about a month ago when I got a new computer, I thought: "Wow, hey, this is great that I didn't have to buy a new monitor with it, 'cause that would have been expensive."
Yeah.
Instead of the "Wow, if my computer is dying now maybe my monitor could use replacing too, and I could bundle it and get a better deal on both."

Yeah, so, um, about a week ago-ish, my monitor made a noise like FZZTTTTcrackleclick and just dimmed out and finally blinked off. If I turned it off and on again it would work for about a second, which is the only way I was able to shut the damn thing down without having to freak out poor Lil Vader.

Aaanyway, my sortofnotmyuncle gave me his old monitor. Which, a few days ago, he asked to have back, so he could sell it with his old computer? I don't know. The whole thing was incredibly asshatty and I'm not even going to get into it now.

So, another thing I hadn't known before -- monitors are mostly widescreen now. Which means that when I play TS2 (ie: the only game I really play religiously on PC), I cannot take pictures without it automatically adding an extra chunk of image to the top and bottom of my shot. So I can't be entirely sure what I'm catching in the shot without some serious recalibration and I hatehateHATE messing with these things. Hate.

Odds are I'll have to order a new monitor from someone somewhere. I've been scouring the interwebz but so far nothing resembling what I had before or what I'm using now has come up. I may or may not be MIA for a while.

To the people watching me for new art bidnuss, I'm sorry, but that probably won't be happening any time soon. I haven't had the balls to go out and take pictures in this weather, and my scanner software does not work with Vista so I'm basically screwed trying to scan in drawings. That's how I draw, by the way. On paper first. Ugh.

Well anyway, I just wanted to update this. I think I had something to say about the new profiles but I can't remember it now. All I'm going to say is howdy @ my watchers. Oh! And I'm weirdly psyched for the Inkheart movie. And, don't quote me on this, but I think I may even brave the cold, cruel theater to go see it. I know. Epic, right? Okay. Well. HOWDY @ YOU GUYS.

So alright. I've had a thoroughly uninteresting day, and I'd like you to know all about it. Because I enjoy sucking life from people, and I don't particularly have anything better to do. Oh, and if you're bitter about those "wasted an hour of my life" moments, don't read this any further. Though I'm sure it wouldn't take an hour, unless you're a terribly slow reader.

So okay, I wake up this morning, at nine (instead of eight as I specified) to my mother going "HURRY! D: WE LATE 4 APPOINTMUNT." So great. Lost an hour there. (But I'm not bitter, see?) Then, I had a snack and did my hair and got dressed three times. I know it's a bit excessive, and even moreso when my appointment was at the hospital and I'd be taking half of it off anyway. I still find it's easiest to not fall apart when I look reasonably put together.

We go to the hospital, and I had a... crap, I can never remember. Echo something? Yeah. I've had like eight of them and I still can't remember. Damnit. Ah well, anyway, the difference between those past ones I've had and the one I have now? Boobs. Apparently my left one does a dandy job of protecting my heart from paparazzi, so the very nice lady doing the scan was like jabbing it. I think there's a bruise there now. Ah well. Had to be done, I guess.

After THAT, we went to the lobby and got some Starbucks because mum wanted a coffee. I got a Green Tea Latte which was surprisingly delicious, some kind of cold drink, and two giant cookies, which I am eating now. So from there we went to the parking lot where mum succeeded in dropping and spilling her entire coffee. I find it oddly coincidental that mum NEEDED THAT COFFEE and ended up drinking my peppermint tea from the morning. And I got a latte, two cookies and some funky kiwi drink out of the deal? Wtf, universe?! I didn't ask for this. It's like the cosmic forces are trying to make me fat with lattes and giant cookies. Which for some reason I feel obliged to have, because it's like, I didn't ask for it so it's free? =/ Wtf. Okay, getting off topic here.

I think when you're done reading this you'll see the irony of that previous sentence, actually. There's no topic here. Oh, and I'm just assuming you'll finish reading it, because you've come this far, and well... frankly you really ought to finish.

SO WE GET IN THE CAR, and drive for an hour in the wrong direction on purpose. This is a thing we do called "driving". I know, simple verb, we didn't invent it, etc. It's just how we sum up driving randomly around to do absolutely nothing, and it usually ends in some serendipitously amazing instance where we're absolutely convinced we didn't just waste an hour or two of our time.
This feeling quickly passes, but it's nice while it lasts.

Somewhere around the end of our... drivething, we came across a lake. Lakes are big and hard to miss, so naturally we saw it and thought, "Oh, a lake! " and had to pull up to walk around and stretch and breathe and take a couple pictures (that was mostly me). Now, okay, I'll just put this question out there: Why do people have parking lots when you can't park in them? =/ We pulled up, parked, just stepped out of the car and walked around a bit, and some waymetro ticketmanguy with frosted tips and shorts (which were unseasonably short but who am I to judge?) told us we needed to move. "There's another parking lot OVER THUR!" He said.

Now, I'm sorry, but we looked for that lot, and didn't find it.
He said to turn left, and the first left turn took us to the highway.
Well... no okay, maybe the first left turn took us down some residential street, but it still wasn't a parking lot.
So he's a liar.
I've decided I don't particlarly like him.

Anyway, before he corralled us back into the car and shooed us away, I did manage to take a couple of pictures, which I have submitted. So I'm just going to apologize for the picspam and hope my watchers (both of them, yes) aren't too upset with me clogging their notices thing.

And... we came home! Whew, okay, so that wasn't as long a day as I thought.

Oh, and I'm just going to throw this out there too: American election coverage aired instead of Eli Stone last night. This made me sad.
I'm sorry, but it's not like I couldn't have seen that on the news the next day.
And the results weren't entirely shocking either.
Which poses the- OH ONE MORE THING AFTER THIS I HOPE I DON'T FORGET. *ahem* T...

I must remember to change my profile on... all the sites I'm on.
That may take a while.

I don't know where the last year went, but it certainly didn't prove to be productive. Although, I do think this year has helped teach me to be much more confident, and to like myself alot more than I used to. I don't feel particularly older or anything... I guess I still feel like a kid. It all seems so fast, you know. One minute you're just standing there watching the waves and the next... you're being washed away by the tide.

It would seem now that I am older I would be more mature, but in truth, I can't say anything I've wanted to do or pictured myself doing as an older person has actually happened. I don't have a job, I don't have much of a school life right now, and I certainly don't have friends or a social life to speak of.

But you know what? I'm happy. Not about what I don't have, or what I wish I could be, but who I am now and where I am makes me perfectly content with my life. Sure there are moments where I feel absolutely miserable and just wish I could be like someone else for a little while, but I can't really say that's the case 100% of the time.

I've been thinking about college or uni, and I still haven't decided. It seems like a big step, and I don't really want to go, but maybe I should? I can't say. I'm so indecisive and scared of everything; how am I supposed to be an adult?

So my wish for this year is to just not be so pathetic. I don't want to be scared anymore. I want to be everything I can, and not hold back, and try my best not to care. No, trying not to care is kind of stupid, isn't it? I'll care if I want! Fuck 'em.

I'm going to believe in myself and learn. Give chances, take showers (not that I didn't do this before, but they'll be extra long ones with fancy soap), and just basically LIVE.

I know this may seem strange, but I've always felt a bit like if I didn't really LIVE, I wouldn't have die? I don't know how that makes sense, but there's always that nagging fear of dropping off the face of the earth without a trace. No proof or evidence of my stay here, and I want to make a difference. A huge, colossal, exponential difference. One big stupid fucking KAT WAS HERE across the sidewalk.

Yeah.
That sounds good.

It's a photography assignment that technically should've been done like... a thousand yesterdays ago? So um. Yes. I'm thinking I'll do it. The problem is, I have no idea what to do.

It's supposed to be inspired by the urban environment, specifically this city. All photos (there ought to be about eight or so) must relate and have a similar "theme" of sorts. They should be put together in a professional-looking portfolio and accompanied by a three page essay about the "theme" and why I chose these pictures, discussing my use of shading and textures, etc. Each piece should evoke emotion.

So I can't really say much.
I mean, the city doesn't have THAT much that doesn't scare the crap out of me to begin with, and "things that scare me" seems like too broad a theme. I don't have models or people I can MAKE model for me. None. So no people shots, please. (I am total fail when it comes to photographing myself.)
My lenses aren't the greatest, and I can't really catch moving things that well. I'd try it, but I don't know how good it'd be.
So I need something that stays relatively still, doesn't involve a person or people, and can easily be done in eight different ways that all still relate to a main theme.
Which I also don't have.

Yeah. Good times.
Whomever said homeschooling was easy should be shot.
That is, assuming they're not already dead.
If they are, I'd suspect something stress-related.

So it has occurred to me that it has been more than a month's time since I last submitted a journal entry to this thing. However, I do believe I have been more active on the picture-taking-and-subsequently-submitting front, so I do hope that evens itself out. I also just realized I have over 2000 pageviews. Not much over, mind you, but over nonetheless.

I don't really remember now what it is I wanted to say here. So um. How about a song?! I like songs. You don't even have to be blind to write them which I think is neat. Equality, y'know? I don't really know where I'm going with this, but I think my lack of sleep is now translating itself into something that closely resembles serious mental illness. Oh! Sleep! That totally reminds me, last night, I was sleeping, and I kept feeling a tickling on my arm like something insect-like was walking on it. But I didn't see anything there so I don't know maybe it was just my hair landing on it or something. Creepy though. You know that fact that no matter where you are you're no more than 8 feet away from a spider? I like that one. My bed isn't really 8 feet long or wide though, so I suppose that should be a safezone from the spideys. Maybe not, though, since it did imply the distance from the aforementioned spider could be less than 8 feet. I don't mind spiders, really. I catch 'em and put 'em in the garden to eat those little mites that ruin the beet leaves. Mites are nasty. Little bugs freak me out. They make me want to wear some sort of net apparatus to avoid them crawling into my orifices. Orifi? Orifici? I'm not entirely sure what the plural is of that. Hm.

Well I think I'm done now. That was fun. If you've read all the way through that, commiserations on losing those last minutes of your life. You won't ever get them back, so I sure hope you learned something. Perhaps not to follow any long-winded paragraph of mine blindly. Although I do suppose if you were doing anything blindly it would certainly not be reading. Don't worry, though, I'm sure there are other hobbies you may take up. So I will now start attempting to answer questions! Yay. Oh, and if you haven't done so already, please leave me a question. Thanks to everyone who has agreed to try this challenge.

20 Questions Challenge

So, similar to the '100 Themes Challenge', this is a '20 Questions' one. Instead of themes, there are questions. Questions you get from other people. See? And since 20 is a smaller number than 100, it's considerably less intimidating to start and hopefully finish.

Here's the deal:
20 people give you 20 different questions, and you have to answer them with a piece of art, instead of words.
Simple as that.
It can be a really deep, serious question, or even something totally random and bizarre.
"Do you believe in gravity?"

Of course, the title of each '20 Questions' piece submitted should probably be the question. If the question is too long, stick it in the description along with a link to whoever supplied the question. Remember, none of these should be out of your own mind, mmkay?

No super strict rules. The point is to have fun with this, people.

And since I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to message boards, it'd be nice if you'd link back here, since I will SO not be peddling this on the forums.

Anyway, yeah, that's pretty much it. Feel free to drop me a question, 'cause I'm gonna start this as soon as I can locate my lens. And to all of you, anyone reading this, I challenge you to try this. Really. I do. Get your friends, family, watchers, mailpersons, EVERYONE to give you a question so you can get to answering!

If you've got any comments or questions (they won't count ) feel free to share.
-points up- Just logged in.
That's officially the most anything I've ever had. Ever.

So my New Years celebration (if you can call it that) went reasonably well. We went to visit my cousins and played games and were just generally lame people. It was nice.

So we had soup and pizza for dinner then we played Mad Gab (farking boring btw, but it was fun to watch my uncle try to say the words. I don't think he ever quite caught on to what the game was about. Poor guy) and then we watched the countdown on TV. They don't have cable. It's sad.

THEN we opened a whole bunch of crackers and I got a whole bunch of those paper hats. I like those. I got a measuring tape out of one of my crackers. It goes to 3FT which I think is stupid. Although it was useful to say "we're going to get THIS much snow tonight" and hold up 12CM of tape. That went on for a while.

As we were getting ready to leave, my uncle pulled out this paint meter reader things, where it'll tell you the name of the colour of whatever you scan. We enjoyed that for a while, then my cousin suggested putting it on our skin to see what colour we are. Nice. Well the stupid little thing deemed me a lovely "Nordic Gray". Everyone else was like "Summer Peach" or "Woven Gold". I sulked for a bit after that one.

So then, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and your back-to-school transition goes as smoothly as possible.
Oh, and if anyone sees my lens lying about, please let me know.

I've recently decided photography was much more interesting and worthwhile than I ever gave it credit for, and I would really like to get back into it.

This story is long and altogether uninteresting, so you may want to save yourself and turn back now.
Just a warning.

Aaanyhoozle, first I pick up my camera and am like "Geez, normally that little light is on, what's up?" and so I spent about twenty minutes trying figure THAT out. Turns out my battery was deaddeaddead. RECHARGE TIME, I said. Nope. WRONG. I couldn't find the little chargey cable thing. So I looked for that for about four hours. Then I found it, plugged it in, went to sleep. I woke up the next day, put the newly charged battery BACK in my camera, and thought, "Y'know, Self, this lens isn't really that great for those close-up shots. Let's find the close-uppy lens." NOPE WRONG WRONG NOT HAPPENING. I still can't find it. God. I've looked every-freakin'-where. My room, my mum's room, several closets, the basement, and every other sundry spot it may or may not have been at one point in its sad existence.

So basically, mum said she'd get me a new one if I can't find it in a month. BUT I DON'T WANT A NEW ONE K. I want /mine/. -whinesob-

asiudhajdasd. Basically I'm letting my little page (and any unfortunate soul who happens to be watching me) know that there will be nothing new added until I can FIND THAT STUPID FARKING LENS.

So, Halloween is coming up and I haven't found any turnips to carve. I suppose pumpkins will have to suffice again this year. Now, if I were to go trick-or-treating, which I don't think I will, but hypothetically, I'd probably be very anxious about not having a costume at all.

My friends have all come up with wicked ideas for costumes, including several video game characters and a pizza guy.
I for one think I'm just going to end up going as a crazy person.
They always look normal, so I don't think I'd need much of a costume.

Right now... I... think I should be doing homework. Oh well.

No new photos, I'm busy with being bad at something else for a change, and hopefully I won't be this incompetant when I actually have an interest in the task at hand. I actually thought I /was/ interested in the current assignment, but now that I've got that small bout of insanity over and done with, I honestly can't remember what I was so jazzed about in the first place.
I love Halloween, but this year, I'm boycotting. Now, I guarantee you this has nothing to do with the fact that I have no friends to celebrate with, or the fact that I've just spend the entire month in therapy rather than in school where I should be. Nope. I've come to the conclusion it is the lone fact that because my mum bought the Doritos instead of the Smarties, I will not even help shell out.

I'm a rebel.

The evil voice in my head, that is telling me I suck, has now been identified as 'it'. Yes. e_e Oh how I loathe thee. So far so good, but I prefer to look at it as a jury, and the 'it' is like... the evil guy on the jury, who tries to make everyone think the wrong thing and yeah.

So, with 2 pumpkins on the steps, approximately 7 trick-or-treaters I've hidden from so far, and about 5 juice boxes who've seen better days.

I make no promises, but I hope to begin creating again soon.

Anyway, someone has a birthday tomorrow, I'll give you three guesses. No, stupid, William Shatner's birthday is... well... that'd just be wrong if I knew when that was. Try again.

Ooh, yeah, it's mine! And with one guess left. That's awesome.

So yeah, I do have a... slight... problem with birthdays. I don't know how to deal with cakes and singing and ugh... it's just not going to be happy. I find ways to resent all of my gifts too. "Oh, cash? Thanks. Shows you care, really."

So, should I submit any birthday-related pictures in the next week or so, it is done out of spite and pure hatred for the event that will take place tomorrow. The act of pointing and shooting to capture the moment will most likely be done, albeit begrudgingly.

I will try to act as (im)mature about this as possible, but I'm warning you, right this second, a happy update should not be expected.

Oh, and, to refresh on Megan/Dad/Ihatelife saga... Megan and Dad are no longer speaking. DNA test has not been discussed. I'm starting to wonder if either of them know it's my birthday tomorrow. Not that Megan would care or Dad would be invited, it's just... yeah.
The only difference is it doesn't limit itself to an hour on weekday afternoons, it's all the time, every day.

To start us off on this saga: My dad is dying, still, and we haven't spoken in over a month. Probably more. I have issues with him, and I always have, I just hate that this is happening now.

Plot twist: I may have a half sister. I knew this before, but no one ever really talked about it, so I assumed it was a dead subject. She contacted my dad a few days ago, and wants a DNA test. This is so Maury Povich. ._.

Her name is Megan.

Until next time: They're meeting again on monday, I'm not too pleased with this whole "SURPRISE, a sibling!" thing, but still, it'd be nice to have one... kinda... I don't know.

My mum always says it's either laugh or cry, and I fear this time I will be crying. Last night, trying to sleep, I couldn't help it. Everything at once, everything piled up on top of everything else just... ugh. I'm not saying I'm the only one this is happening to, but it really, really sucks.

I went camping. For four days. We usually go for two weeks, but this time, oh... well... it was short. So stupid me stupid stupid had to go praying to a certain spiritual entity that I could experience the whole camping... thing... in a matter of four days.

How fucking stupid can I be?

In four days I managed to be burnt, bitten, flooded out of my tent, annoyed to bits by our neighbours, driven out of the shower line-up TWICE by the cleaning lady, didn't see any wildlife except for poison ivy which I fell/sat in, and on top of everything, I haven't really slept at all in two days.

"Did you have fun?"
"Mrrphgh..."
"Is that a yes."
"Shut. Up."

Right now, I'm looking forward to not living next door to a family of 5 guitar-playing, perpetually-farting man-boys. Who seem to think flinging a plastic ruler at each others' chests and hearing the slapping sound it makes on contact is good fun. OR the gaggle of twelve (maybe more) kids who just played poker and.... some other card games all day. I can't remember. They yelled alot. -_-
Yup. That was my holiday. All in four days my friends. All in four days...

Anyway, aside from that, no new pictures. But I have some new music to listen to. So. Nyeah. With good music and a camera bigger than your head, life is sweet.

Thinking about getting a microphone. No good reason for wanting one. Or, a new lense for my super freakoid of a camera which is so huge has it's own tote bag but can't zoom more than three inches.
