However, tomorow, apparently we're going to have a birthday party for my nephew, Jacob, at one of the parks. I'm rather skeptikal. We'll see what happens as of tomorrow. Oh, and the other day, I not only saw Corey and Jacob--I played with them in their other grandmother's yard.

Quite frankly, I was surprised that no one yelled, "Off with her head!" or something like that. I didn't even get hollered at. Although, that may have been because their other grandmother was not present.

Even goes, "Wow... oh my god, Natira. You stepped over enemy lines and survived? What kind of game are they playing at?"

Quite frankly, I don't want to know. I'm just happy I got to see them.

Also, I'll be entering a contest! ^^

Not to mention, my niece, Jaelynn, ('s daughter) had to leave her bike in West Virginia and since my mother splurged on money and got herself an exercise bike from St. Vincent's store, Jaelynn rode it once and the pedal came off and the other day she tried to get on it when she was told not to and ended up falling on the pedal. So, what happened was, I knew she couldn't go on trying to use my mom's bike and getting hurt like that, I used my check from 'babysitting' to get Jaelynn a bike instead of replacing my own that's gone missing. I got her the bike and training wheels and a helmet and so forth and I was quite pleased when she began to shout ecstaticly, "A bike! A bike! A bike!"

However, *grins wearily*, I did not anticipate that she would wake me up at nine and beg to ride it and then at ten and then to be woken up by Rayna putting Memphis next to me.

I knew Rayna was comming though due to the fact I went downstairs at ten and checked the answering machine and heard a threatening, but mildly amusing, message she left. I heard the message and my only thought was, I hope she meant that as a joke.

I'm too much of a nightowl, but... *sighs* one more week before school... not fair (XD)

but I suppose I better get off before I get caught... not that she would really care

For instance the printer, microphone and headset, and the lap top bag... and the book that came in the mail, 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.

However, I'm happy anyway. Plus, went to Half Price books the other days and I bought some more books by use of the money I earned 'baby-sitting'.

My mom looked at me and she says, "How many books do you have now? Are you going to be all right for the year?"

I told her I should be considering how long it's taking me to read Lord of the Rings. OTL, I'm still in the first book.

Oh! But the last time I went to Half Price Books, I got the first two Otherland books and I went the second time to get the second two, but there was only the third one D:< so I got three additional books. When I saw that they had books by Jules Verne I started looking for Journey to the Center of the Earth, but they didn't have it! I got a different one instead.

Oh, and my mom went and got some school clothes for my niece, but she realized she didn't have any money and asked me if I had any left.

Needless to say... I had a whole lot more than I thought I did, but unfortuenately I can't put any of it in to my savings account because my poor bunny, Sazha, needs some more rabbit food and I need to get more bedding, because my mom can't pay for it.

At the moment, it's just kind of like, "Oh my goodness, where did the food go? Didn't we just go shopping?"

Well, I guess that's what happens when you have a house of three people and then three more people get added to it.

For the first time in a great while, I am content! ^^

One of my aunts went over to their house with my brother (who was bringing the boys' toys as an excuse to see his children) and she asked nicely if we could celebrate my nephew Jacob's birthday on a certain date.

Well what do you know? The Wicked Witch of the west comes out yelling nasty things and calling my brother mentally ill when he isn't and she knows it and my aunt starts yelling back. ^^ Good for her.

Anyways that woman went inside calling, "I'm calling my lawyer!"

My aunt and brother got off the property considering this is the same woman that called the police because we were babysitting the youngest of the three boys.

I would say that she's all bark and no bite, but it's quite the opposite. She's all BITE and no bark. Or, rather, a jar of rusty nails she is.

Although, I think Wicked Witch of the West befits her quite well.

Not to mention, this woman is fully capable of making me let out my temper which is not good. The other day one of my brothers said, "considering how upset you were just by talking, I don't want to see your temper."

So far, what this woman has been doing has been making it more and more obvious, through my voice, that I have a terrible temper. If she makes it so my family can't see or talk to my three nephews, I guarantee anyone, I won't be able to keep my temper in check and so someone's probably going to see me at my worst if things come to that.

But they better not they better not because who'd ever side with the Wicked Witch of the West?

I got to see my nephew, Zackery, today. My sister-in-law had my mother and I babysit him while she went to visit her friends, and pardon my French, but now it seems I may begin to lapse in to some vulgar language.

We can't see Zackery for a fucking hour before my sister-in-law's mother calls the police just because she wasn't told every detail of her daughter's life and plans. And what is worse is that my sister-in-law is 28 years old, Zackery is her son, and HER MOTHER WASN'T EVEN HOME. She was 45 minutes away and if it weren't for my sister-in-law's damn younger brother telling on her for letting my mother--WHO HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG-- see her youngest grandson.

I'm sorry I ranted and I'm also sorry for my inappropriate language, but I needed to let it out. My mother was trying to take away my form of venting...

And... I seem to think I have it bad, but frankly, 's mother-in-law is a bitch. She's the one that called the police and she seems to hate my entire family because more than half of our side believes in occult sciences. We think she hates simply because she has always treated him like dirt and now he can't even step foot in his parents'-in-law house which is where ALL THREE OF HIS SONS are with their mother. Thankfully my sister-in-law hasn't denied him the right to see the boys. As for us, we haven't seen Corey and Jacob for a long while. In fact, I'm the one that saw them last and that was through the pine needles of one of our trees as I watched them play.

I used to be angry with my sister-in-law, but then came today and we all saw that she is nothing more than a puppet to her family...

Jaelynn calls me Friend because she can't quite get my name.
When she does say my name it's either, Nah-teer-up, or Nah-terror. Frankly, I prefer Friend.

My art teacher recently told me that she's submitting another piece of my artwork to another competition.

The first one was my batik, , and now the second one is my self portrait that I did from a baby picture, .

Also, as usual I'm still writing, but now the original four Gafania stories have... well... they kind of escalated up to TEN.

Anyways, I hate school, but it's not so much that as...the LIFE GAME.

I won't go into to detail, but it is most definitely UNPLEASANT.

There was the phrase 'it's not fair' mentioned, and the response was 'life isn't fair', of course.

I hate that phrase. I said it wasn't fair an exact day before I turned 14. It wasn't, and did anyone tell me that 'life isn't fair? No... because I already knew. Going through that, and then the fact that I had to start and complete the entire WKCE test in one week using only homeroom and 3rd hour study hall...

Anyways, I'm glad I still have my mother, sister, brothers, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, cousins, aunts, uncles, pets, other distant relations, and my grandmother.

I think I'll turn on the radio now. I can't stand this silence here. It's what I've been doing everyday that I've been home alone (quite a few). I turn on my mom's cd player, no matter what's in it, and let it play... although... the phonograph hasn't been used since November... I think I'll play one of my dad's records instead...

All right, I'm going to do a painting, and it will most likely be a landscape one, but I've been putting doing this particular painting off for forever and a day!

You'll get to see what I decided the sky of Cirous will look like. ^^ Plus, I'll upload a drawing that I FINALLY finished! ^^ Maybe I'll finsh my pieces; Where Are Our Dreams? and Behind These Prison Walls.

I can't wait to post them! ^^

My illustrations are coming along, although I have not finished a single one of them yet. I being to picky about not trying new angles or new things. However, I'm trying to get out of my safe lines.

I will be creating illustrations for my stories, as usual, but now I should actually have something to put at the beginning of the text. I wish I could start right away, but I've got some annoying make-up work since I missed one and a half days of school.

Also, for anyone that was reading Shattered Glass, I've finally gotten over my writers' block! ^^ Call it a little bit of inspiration from working on Striking Thunder, which is... a very different Gafania story... very very different, and possibly very, very long.

Hopefully I'll get my homework done in a reasonable amount of time and then I'll be able to hopefully finish the next part of Shattered Glass and post it, start my illustrations and post at least one, and then work on Striking Thunder.

One question though, should my illustrations be in color or not?

My brother, mom and I all went to the Folk Ball.

As usual, I have a bad habit of staying up VERY late and that's exactly what I did on Friday. Then I was woken up at 9:40 and we got to the Folk Ball just in time for MayT traditional dance.
In fact, I was looking forward to the MayT dancing because I seldom have the oppotunity to learn something about one part of my heritage.

The dancing was harder than it looked. I was fine going slow and I really thought it was pretty easy until it started getting faster. One, two, three, kick! and that was only part of it.

I just had fun. Out of the three MayT dances that my brother, Mother stuck around for I was only really able to do one well.

I can do a polka! So next time my 12yr old cousin wants to have one of her silly contests (singing and once every blue moon a dancing one) I'll say, "I can do a polka." I usually tell her, "no way. You're not going to catch me dead dancing." That was always because I never knew any.

However, the polka that I was able to do had the girl put her right hand up over her right shoulder and hold the man's right hand. The other hand was lower and held the guy's hand on the left side.

What it was after that was taking my left foot extending it forward and tapping the floor once (one!), bringing the same foot back beside the other and tapping the floor once (two!) and repeating that pattern.

One, two, three, four!

Then we'd all stand in place, but extend our right foot backwards and tap once (five!) and bring it back (six!).

Five, six!

From there we'd extend our left foot forward to tap the floor once (seven!) and bring it back with a tap. (Eight!)

Seven, eight!

We'd stomp our right foot twice.(Nine, ten!)
Nine, ten!

Then the girl would spin once and grab hands with her partner again.

Spin!

And again it wasn't over. After we spun and grabbed our partner's hands we had to shuffle our feet for a little ways and we repeated the process.
So essentially the pattern looked like this:

Take hands. LEFT FOOT; forward, backward, forward, backward. RIGHT FOOT; backward, forward. LEFT FOOT: forward, backward. RIGHT FOOT: stomp, stomp. Spin and Repeat.

LEFT: 1,2,3,4 RIGHT: 5,6 LEFT: 7,8 RIGHT: (stomping)9,10 AND SPIN. SHUFFLE AND REPEAT.

So to get away from that subject we also went to a sing workshop where I learned to sing Gori More and Tri Jetrve Žito Žele.

What my mother and I didn't expect was that we would have the chance to perform both songs!

So we did and I was just fine singing Tri Jetrve Žito Žele, but when it came to Gori More, everyone singing was strung out in a line and I was unfortunate enough to be in front of a lady who was singing with us and the other people at the folk ball made a huge circle and of course were dancing to the song. However, I couldn't breathe, so I had to run all the way to the end of the line and jam myself in between the last person and the speaker. So then I had a headache, but I enjoyed it.

The best part of it was that the Band Without a Name (Orkestar Bez Ime) was playing live right behind us on the stage.

Kudos to you if you actually suffered through all of that.
