Speaking of dA, DID YOU GUYS SEE STAR TREK? WASN'T IT GREAT?!?!?!? Seriously, I am in love with every boy in that movie! Anton Yelchin <3333 who I have loved since Charlie Bartlett, was an amazing Chekov ("ze Wulcans, we are getting interwearance!") and Simon Pegg as Scotty~ AND FUCKING BONES WAS SO GOOD, Karl Urban was the perfect mix of paranoid and angry. Also Spock and Kirk are tiny, tiny badasses and also John Cho does not stop being hot. And Uhura, mmm baby. MM. BABY. I think I will be fanarting THAT shit up ASAP.

Anyone else seen other good movies? I'm getting ready for The Brothers Bloom on May 15.

1) I don't draw that often, especially when I'm feeling uninspired, which makes me mad because everyone else seems to be progressing so much more quickly than I do.
2) I am secretly in love with American comics, but fail at drawing them.
3) I feel like I'm really good sometimes and really bad sometimes, but I guess every artist gets that.
4) I HATE inking things. I freak out when I mess up lines.
5) O GOD I'M SO BAD AT OEKEKI. No joke. SO. BAD. For no reason at all.
6) I don't have trouble with chracter designs or comic layouts, but I have serious issues with coming up with comic ideas, scripts, and getting started on a project. I procrastinate with the best of them.
7) My favorite medium is markers, but I end up using pencil a lot in my sketchbook because markers are so bulky and space-taking-upping.
8) I still don't know what my style is. It seriously changes like every year.
9) This is getting tiresome.
10) I hate it when I have my sketchbook out and I'm working on something and people walking by don't look. Call me egotistic, but I think people should be curious, you know? I would be. Similarly, I hate it when people TAKE my sketchbook OUT OF MY BAG and SHOW IT to OTHER PEOPLEEEE. XC It's full of boypr0n, that's why YOU CAN'T SEE IT, GREG!!!! D< Also, when people ask me about original chras, "Who is this supposed to be?" UH DUHHH, NO ONE IN PARTICULAR, WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE FANART?

Third quarter is FINALLY OVER. No, really though. For the past 2 months I have had a paper/project/unit test/really big grade due every week. I have had no time for anything!!! I tried to get on and check the written messages, but I'm super backlogged for my watchlist. ToT

So... I should be back now for the most part. SATs are tomorrow, UGH, and the day after I'm gonna go to the MICA openhouse and see what's cookin'. Just wondering, but is anyone planning to do thier summer program? I'm getting together my po'follio.

Do you like drama?

Do you want to hear my maaagical story about driving with my father?

OKAY. So I'm driving along with my pops and I miss the exit off the highway because him saying to me "slow down" aparently means "merge left." So we have to loop back around and we get to this junction about 30 or 40 minutes away from our house, and I only recognize it because it's got a Walmart there, and I know its one of the, like, 4 Walmarts in the radius of a 45 minute drive from my house. Dad says, "Do you know where we are?" I say, "Vaguely..." He says, "Okay, drive home from here; I'm not helping you." I was like, WTF MATE? I CAN'T FIND THE HIGH SCHOOL WITHOUT A MAP! But, I say to myself, I can handle this.... deeeeeep breath....

So I start driving. Mind you I've had about an hour of practice on the highway in my whole driving career, I don't know how to headcheck, and merging, to me, is one of the seven deadly sins. I did okay until I got on the highway again... Then I see a sign that says Exit: Clarksville, Sykesville- 1 Mile. I know Clarksville and Sykesville. I'm like "Dad, is that my exit?" He says: "You decide." I have NEVER BEEN DRIVING HERE IN MY LIFE. I nearly burst out into tears right then. I take three deep breaths and keep up my hardcore defensive driving.

I get to the exit. It's not marked "Clarksville" or "Sykesville," just "85," but it's been what I recon is a mile, so I'm like, "DAD IS THIS THE RIGHT EXIT??!!" and he's like "You decide." And this is where I start screaming "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M FREAKING DOING I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE HELL I AM!!!!!" whilst merging daintily onto the exit ramp without checking to see if I'm cutting anyone off.

It turns out it was the right exit. Score. I stop screaming long enough to bite my trembling lip; I'm THIS CLOSE to bawling out of stress.

But I go anyway, and as I'm TRYING to merge right into the lane that will take me to the back roads I know and love, this huge ass Eyre bus cuts me off. Damn you. So I had to take the long way home. But I managed. I got home and buried my head in the couch, then watched mommy play Mario Kart.
