http://doodleplex.deviantart.com/journal/13941220/ Mon, 30 Jul 2007 12:28:21 PDT 3 hour wait to be seen...they couldn't find anything wrong with me. They ran lots of test, but everything was fine. They didn't know what had happened.

That was four years ago.

Today, I collapsed this morning and convulsed on my bathroom floor. I was much more conscious than last time and realized what was happening, and am thanking God that I collapsed onto the soft floor mat on the floor instead of the hard tiles otherwise it could of been much, much worse.

Thankfully my mom was home and she took me to my neurologist (I'm on medication because I have a mild case of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder a.k.a. ADHD.) who ran a few tests and figured it out.

It seems I have low blood pressure and I need to cut caffeine from my diet for the most part, which isn't too bad as I don't drink coffee or tea, and I've never been much of a soda drinker. However, I can never drink my favorite soda again, Mountain Dew Code Red, as it is not decaffeinated to my knowledge, and I can't have it ever again unless they come out with a decaffeinated version. That kills...I loooooove Code Red! My "prescription" is to drink lots of water and eat pretzels a lot. Not bad at all seeing as how I'm slightly addicted Rold's Gold Honey Braided Twists...mmmmm....

Anyway, if I'd been seen right away, I think that I would of known this a long time ago, and not of had to find out again via another episode. How stupid...a quick trip to my doctor figured it out in maybe under an hour instead of staying at a hospital overnight. Completely stupid. True, there probably were more pressing matters, but if they'd just sent a decent doctor to check me out, so much time and money could of been saved.

I'm not mad, more or less just very annoyed. My lip is swollen due to the episode this morning because as I convulsed, the retainer I have to wear at night in my mouth caught my lip and yeah...ouchie.

I'm gonna go take a shower...they had to do an EKG and now my hair is all gross...

I sold 3 out of 5 pictures. Fanart FTW!

I got Vic and Aaron's signatures.

I was told by Vic that when I gave him a picture I drew of Ed & Al, he said it was beautiful and was clearly impressed...that's making me feel wonderful right now.

Finding a GUY cosplaying as Ed. And did an amazing job too. Full automail, good wig, and did I mention it was a guy!


....annnnd you're not gonna believe this, but I find this kid who looked exactly like Alphonse Elric. It was as if Al came to life and really was in our world.

....here's the fun part. The kid who cosplayed as Al was named...............Al.


I'm not kidding, his name was Al. It wasn't short for Alphonse, but still....

I'll go into more detail tomorrooow. There's a pillow calling my name.

I've discovered that Terra Bella Finishes - Metallic Accent Wax makes for a marvelous paint for painting craft foam when making automail...now if I can get my leather shoes done in time that'd be the world on a string, but seeing as how I've got something called life, job, internship, I think I'll aim just for the automail.

....yarr.

Ouch my legs are so sore from posing. And I've discovered that for me to do Ed's hair correctly, I need to straighten my bangs then douse them in hair spray to hold correctly. Because they kind of fell apart today. Yesterday they weren't too bad I believe, though yesterday I couldn't get a the braid done, and was confused as being movie Al several times. Today I discovered, that I can braid my own hair...I have no clue how well though. XD

Anyway, I'm gonna put all of the pictures up on my photography account here on DA. I'm moving the Sasuke one that's here over to there too...the other too stay. I may put a picture or two up of me cosplaying on this account...we'll see.

Overall, my first time cosplaying at a con went very well. I was glomped twice, one nearly knocked me over, had 40+ pictures taken, and meet some uber cool people. Not to mention meeting Monica Rial and Chris Patton.

There's probably a lot more to say, but I'm gonna scurry off and go upload the pictures now...^_^

Anyway, so far I seem to be the best dang Ed Elric cosplayer at AnimeNEXT. As well as the oldest...and the tallest...! Possibly....I hope lol. A guy dressed as Gaara said that I was the best compared to the others...yeah!

Annnnyway.

Couple of things. First of all....I do commissions, collabs and trades. I do anything except for hentai, yaoi and extremely grosses stuff.

Note me to tell me what you want.

Next, I'm going to AnimeNEXT and cosplaying as Ed Elric. I've got a custom fitted costume...my hair is the correct length colour and after I get my regular summer highlights done that is, and worse/best of all, I'm the correct hight. I just need to get my mits on his watch and a pair of gloves. I'm even making his arm sword...hehehehehe. So heaven helps the fool to call me short when I'm cosplaying as Ed!

Thirdly...Sarah wants to go to Otakon. Very, very badly. She has the money, the means of transportation, the costume(Ed and a kitty cat) and she has found a cheap hotel. She just needs someone to go with....and find someone to take care of her cat and two of her dogs....and stop talking in third person lolz

Then...my birthdays is what...June 28th. What what.
_{no I'm not subliminally advertising the fact that I'd love birthday pressie art. *shifty eyes*}

Next up...is I dunno what to draw more...Phantom, FMA or Naruto. My Phan art gets the most views, but it seems like I can't find a lot of good FMA art. As for Naruto, I've just become hooked on the show after seeing the movie...! Which was sooo goood! And brings me to my next point....

And last but not least...I've made up my mind as for what I want to do when I'm done with college.

I'm going to be a voice actress.

My voice has always been my specialty. I love switching into different accents and 'characters.' I love acting, and I'm not that bad, but it seems I do better as a voice instead of stage appearance...I've even been told by Christopher Sabat that I had a good voice. I just need to make a good demo...

I'll also be a graphic designer/illustrator seeing as how those are more steady jobs that I can get easily as I've got quite a lot of experience and talent in that area.

I meant, I gotta cold. It's evil. I'm all congested(sp?), my throat hurts and I get these hot flash-like thingermabobers. It ain't fun, and it's going around. Either my sister or brother gave it to me or I got it at school somehow and gave it to them. Ah well, tis to be expected...I haven't gotten sick in nearly a year, so I guess I was due.

Anywho...I finished a new FMA piece and for some reason I have the urge to stick it on a pillow or a T-shirt. The pillow idea, I think, is probably a really good idea for selling...mmmm...I think I shall sell a few pillow cases next Otakon. Anywho, I think I'll scan it so ya'll can see it, then I shall try to put it on a pillow case and if it works out, I'll take a picture and show you guys. See what you think. You know....

And last I want a boyfriend dang it. Men, or at least the ones I've run into, are stupid. They can't see a good thing when she passes on by. Oh well...it's possible that one of the guys in 'Grease' has a thing for me...I saw him looking at me a lot during Acting 1. He's a sweet guy too, but I'm getting the feeling that he's very alike to the person he's playing...Eugene, the class geek.

...oh wait, that might be a good thing.

Okay, so I should really be saving my money to:

Commissions are very much wanted. =3 They mean I get paid so then I don't have to feel like I did something I shouldn't of done. Yep.

Oh and I'm in my college's production of 'Grease'! Or so I am lead to believe.... I might even get a very minor speaking part because I had a realllly good audition, and I think the director likes me. And I feel pretty, which isn't a rational reason, but I like it. We'll see. Either way, I'm happy!


And last, but not least, my car is named Elphaba or Elphie for short. Yes, Elphaba....like from Wicked. It's 'cause she's jade green.

I think I'm becoming adicted to instant noodle soups. I had one yesterday and another the day before, and now I want another one...and the soups aren't mine, they're my brothers. I'm getting them from his supply of instant noodle soups. Maybe I should go eat some salad or something before I drive myself crazy...or something...I'm already crazy....

Anywho, I have the best timing some times. Like I was walking past my TV and going upstairs, and this TV show I think is called the Golden Girls(it's about 4 retired women, one of which is a mother to one of the other 3 women, I think one of them is called Maude...but anywho) was on. Well I wasn't watching it so I'm not sure what was going on when suddenly I heard something along the lines of "since you bought Phantom of the Opera Tickets on Broadway." I was like "Wow ironic" at the time, but it gets better. You see, last Sunday(I'm pretty sure it was last Sunday) I was visiting my elderly grandmother, got bored, and and watching TV. So I was flipping around looking for something good to watch when I get to GSN(Game Show Network) and "Who Wants To Be A Millionair" was on. Around one minute into watching, the next question was brought up, and do you know what it was?! The queston was "Who played the Phantom in "The Phantom of the Opera"when it came out on Broadway in 1988?" (It was very close to that...I think I remembered the question right...)
A.) Michael Crawford was of course the right answer, and after a minute or two, the guy correctly selected it, saying that he was pretty sure that it was A. Is that good timing or what?!

Anywho, another thing that happened, Phantom related mind you, is that earlier in the week, Wednesday I believe, my school's interenet connection was down, and what do you do in a class where you need the internet, ie my Business Webpage Developement class? Well, when the interent goes down, which isn't that often, we watch movies. And some kid in my class brought in the new Phantom of the Opera DVD!!! So I watched it all block, and was a very happy camper for the rest of the day.

Lastly is that I've got a cold...again. Tissues and/or Advil anyone? *sneezes*

You see...my mom has finally let me be what I want to be, aka she's letting me major in art in college. After so very long she's letting me do what I want to do. And though I'm not sure what sort of field of art I'd like to be, I've been toying around with the idea of doing art for movies or perhaps musicals.

And I started cleaning up my message centre and I see all these wonderful artist who are whole worlds above me, and then I remember that most of them are younger than me.

I've found out who the other "Phan" in my choir...and it turns out she has one heck of a good idea. A phantastic idea really!

You see...this guy friend of mine has an absolutely amazing voice!!! It's so beautiful, I swear it is only a little under the original Phantom, Michael Crawford!!! I kid you not, he's so good he made it into a national choir, some sort of choir that only happens every 4 years, as the top tenor!!! Number one! His voice is the only one other than Crawford's who's singing makes me woozy...

Well now the plan is (and AJ...you'd better not be reading this!)....she and I, and if I can get her...another girl are going to turn him into the Phantom, in a way. No, we aren't going to deform his face, but if we can abduct him long enough, dress him up in a mask, cape, some dark clothes...etc. He also happens to have really curly hair that's not exactly short...so with a little hair gelll...voila! Instant real life, hot, singing Phantom!!!!

It's my last chance. It really is...well, at least is for me. My last chance to show that I can do something too. Something that will earn perhaps a little notice. A little notice...enough to make my world brighter.

I can sing.

Tomorrow, providing it isn't cancelled and resceduled due to inclement weather conditions, I'm going to try out for the Region Chorus. Out of all of the times I've tried out for things, I can only remember one time when I made something. And that one time was this year, when I made it into my high school's advanced chorus group.

That's it. Just one time. I've only made one thing. I truely am quite luckless.

And it's not like I can't sing very well...I've got a nice voice, I really do. I was given a solo in Kindergarden to sing 'Silent Night' because the music teacher heard me sing it once and I remember exactly what he said:

"Who's got that beautiful voice?!"

My class was signing 'Silent Night' for fun...it wasn't going to be given as a solo, I think we were practicing Feliz Navidad....but anywho I remember, he was really excited, I can't remember what his face looked like, but I remember, the look in his eyes showed how surprised and happy he was! He had me come in every day at recess to practice...and remember that was only kindergarden...and I'm young for my grade...

So you see I need some good forces on my side...so if you pray...send some my way...I really, really, really want to make this.

...I thhink really just need training...

Angel of Music...if there is one...grant to me your glory....please

It all started out painless...a simple IM to a friend of mine on AIM....nothing more than simple chit-chat. I lonely and wanted to talk to someone. I don't know if I should of...but...then again, I've been lonely my whole life...is this the price for being not staying silent and in the shadows?

I love CS! I love the pen tool!!! Booya!!! IT roxorz!!! Sadly, it's only a trial version, so it'll be gone in roughly 30 days, and I shall be left with Photoshop Elements. However, I think I have found a similar tool in Flash, so perhaps all is not lost...keep your fingers crossed.

Since school is starting tomorrow, so I may not be on as much. But since I do have two clases which involve computers, I may be on the same amount of time, or more perhaps. First of all I will NEVER EVER do or have anything to do with porn or hentai! With that said, on with the rest:

Art Trades: I'll do it with anyone pretty much. You just need to fav my half and I'll fav your half.

Collaberations: If I want to color your art, then I will and if I don't want to, then I won't. Asking me to color something of yours is fine with me, I'd be honored to. If you want to color something of mine, I won't stop you, and I'll definately fav it if you do color something of mine.

Commissions: You must watch me, and fav whatever I draw for you. Will work for subscriptions too.

I make graphics for sites and such, and if I really like you, layouts. But you have to send me a note about that.

Requests: You must ask nicely, fav the piece when I draw it, and as long as I'm not to busy with other things (school, real life, other art, etc.) I'll probably do one for you. Watchers can request whenever they like, seeing as how I have so few...v_v
