My next featured friend is one who I greatly respect, and I totally admire his "unusual" art.

uses a combination of 3DSMAX, Poser, Paintshop Pro and other programs to make his Anime creations and he has such interesting journals! A lot of people think that this kind of "art" isn't really art at all. I believe it is.

There's all kinds of art, including animation, cartooning, sketching...etc.

The kids and I are at my sister's and she's sick- not sure if they'll have Easter dinner this year. I'm usually at my parents home up north for Easter, but Spring Break in this part of Michigan isn't until April 7th.

I keep on forgetting to mention that Maysie, my daughter's three year old hamster passed away just after the new year. She's so missed. Jaci begged me to get her a new one so we picked out a winter white russian Dwarf hamster named Dolchay. (Dole chay) He really looks kind of like Herr Hildezart which is why I fav him so much.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to make a css journal..feel free to do one for me.

I'll never learn it.

Nothings going on much with me... (Other then my stupid blood pressure.) I've been trying to keep up on things..*not good enough really* I'm sad that a deviant friend has left dA, and found out I really need to go over my old features. A lot of them have deleted gallerys and deviations. I wish I would have noticed sooner.

I started redoing some of them last night...and thought about deleting them, but I want to keep them up.

I'll probably be heading up north to my parents to spend a week with them. Christmas was skimpy for us this year, so yeah... I still feel tidings of good cheer, my mood's been great so far.

Had dinner at my older sister's home with the whole family Sunday and today at my younger sisters house with her family.

My fav time of the year!

This past summer, I've been up to my parents home in Harrison four times...the most I've ever been in a summer since they moved ten years ago.

(Mostly for Joseph to work for them.) We ended up mall shopping, garage sailing, flea market finding, and the best of all... Mom & her best girlfriend took me to the Soaring Eagle Casino. I only won forty dollars though..

It was fun.

Last Sunday, I was drinking my diet pespi after lunch when... *sigh* I couldn't breathe and my heart was going 90 miles an hour. Scared the crap outta me when I started having a little chest pain and pain in my arm. *They later told me I hadn't had a heart attack* Lord, I didn't want to go to the hospital!

Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia I suppose it was..well, it was until they used a drug to slow down my heart and I looked around wondering if they were going to have to use the paddles on me..

I started to panic and everyone around me in the ER calmed me down and I didn't get the Xanax until later...anyway... they had to change it to Atrial Fibrillation in order to treat me..at least that's what the ER doc told me.

I was released last Thursday, the 19th..very glad to be out of there. No more anti-depressants for me, or caffeine, pain medicine.. (They all interfere with the blood thinner and my condition. )

Not very fair, but I'm so glad to be alive.

I am taking a beta-blocker, a blood thinner and medicine for my own good.

I already had mitral valve prolapse from having the twins.. (it's a long story.. )

So..

I'll have to get on here more often.. I'm behind on my deviation watching, two-thousand fold so have patience with me please.. I'll try to comment on all of them.

My life is boring as hell. Might be going to mackinaw island this summer. *I've never been there.. >.<*

I want to get a subby to keep up my features..and I'm so behind on looking at submissions; very sorry for that!

I've only featured three people so far this year...I'm falling into a sea of depressed delusions lately. I'm online and using my niece's computer, so it's a plus. I have a lot of minus's right now, which I won't even get into.

I'll be at my sister's a lot this summer with her having a pool and all so I'll be on from her computer.
I probably will not be doing a lot of photomanipulations..*I suck at 'em anyway..* .. hopefully I'll be drawing more, but I suck at that as well.. *Not depressed are we?*

Seems like so many are leaving dA, but others have come back as well.

I'm totally lacking with the features and don't know when I'll do another, very soon I hope. I have more family drawings to add to my family feature as well and will do that as soon as able. My son and niece are on here too, so it's a shared computer.

I've talked to a couple of friends on my cell phone through yahoo messenger, it's pretty neat but I'm very slow at text messaging.. been taking pics with it too, but they're low quality.

I'll do a feature in a few days. I miss being on here and love you all very much.

I thought Id show off some of my mother and sisters drawings on here, so this feature is for them. I started drawing in my early teens after my sister had started drawing. Her drawing is perfect compared to mine and I very much admire her work. She took art in college but dropped out in her junior year to start a family. Her website: [link]

My mother started a painting class a few years back and got into drawing her grandchildrens portraits. Shes a self taught artist just like her mother, and younger sister. I have a landscape of hers and of my aunts which, hang in my livingroom. She also drew my daughter in oil pastels and my son in watercolor pencils and they also reside in my living room. Ill get a digital camera someday to show them.

Ill add more of their work to this as I scan it in. I had more of my mothers drawings, but accidentally deleted them from my computer.

Damn slacker!!

Lan sakes'.. I'm tired. Can't sleep at night, and once I do, I keep waking up in the middle of the night, and can't sleep.

I just got new cabinets in my apartment; kitchen and both bathrooms!

They look much better than the old crappy ones...and the construction code authority is inspecting them Monday, so keep the house clean.

Took my car in to get a new cat converter and the pipe surrounding/holding it on.. >.< A whopping $283.15..

That's it..I'm broke..

Finished my 'spring' cleaning.. *again* painted the basement floor a dixie gray, tore apart two dryers and a washer which weren't working and got them out to the trash. Joe and I couldn't even budge them before that. I've felt exhausted for quite some time.

Posted my fanfiction in scraps, and uploaded a photomanip for a friend of mine in there as well. I only have one thing to say, if you aren't into Dragonball, please don't read it. -.-'

One of my first devfriends..

It's just so impressive; the amount of fanart and original work that this artist puts out! His work is truly amazing and I sincerely hope he goes far with it. He'd make a wonderful professional Illustrator!

The light and amount of movement in his work is extremely impressive, let alone the amazing detail and clarity in which his hand portrays..

I was moved by this artists work a long time ago and am still touched by how modest he is in relation to his work.. it's just unbelievable! There is an exceptional amount of depth perception to his work and you just have to check him out!

who passed away in a car crash on Oct. 31st 06. I had looked through her gallery a few months ago. Im a little interested in doll sculpting, and she had wonderful talent in that area. Her daughter wants to keep her mothers art alive, and I want to help. NinaCat was only a few years older than I am, and I realize just how precious life is and how much my children really mean to me.

On the subject of my son... He's doing 100% better, taking his meds, helping my sister with her house and yard work.. It's like I got my son back. He came out of that place- *the detention center* with a black eye and had his life threatened and learned all about drugs and making them.. tch.. thank God he talked about it with distain!

I know he realizes what he did, and the way he was acting and he's not going back there if I can help it.

Like I said before, I'd much rather see him in boot camp. He's on unteathered house arrest and will be on probation for a few months so... yeah. *sigh* He and I are doing great, along with my daugher, who's been so supportive. I'm happy..

I'll try to be on more.. I caught up with some of my deviation watching yesterday, I've never been so far behind!

I get my subbie extended by one month!!

Every little bit helps. I'm working on my next feature, and I know my friend Eric won't mind if I extend his re-feature. I'm working on a special feature for *NinaCat who lost her life in a recent car accident. *Leo-Taku's known her for about two years, and I'm so sad about his and her daughter's loss. Her daughter wants to keep her mother's art alive and I wanted to help in the very humble way of a feature journal. So that's next...

My son's in a detention center in of all places, Genesee co., which is not a good place to be. It's much more crime filled than where I live. Needless to say I've been depressed since last Thurs. My spirits lifted yesterday after email correspondence with his Truant officer Sarah, whom I consider a friend. She's been more than wonderful with my family!

Joe is in there for striking out at me and Jay, before the recent incident with the knife, until this Thursday and then he'll be under house arrest. So things went from bad to worse- he was to be in court in a couple of weeks anyway, things were just sped up. *Over his not taking his meds.. * He doesn't believe he's depressed, even though he's been diagnosed with major depression.

I've done a little research and he acts like he has oppositional defiant disorder.

He acts normal outside home, has manners, controls his anger..etc. I have to crack down on rules when he gets out. I don't consider him a criminal and he'd better behave, cause I don't want to see him go back. My family and I have talked about boot camp and I'd much rather see him go there.

I appreciate everyone's support in my last journal entry and the notes I've receved back that I've sent. Thank you everyone!

I was watching Good Morning America, and suddenly it switched to the first plane plunging head on into the first tower I dont think I ever cried so much for a whole day, except when my newborn/premature twins died. I didnt actually cry until I watched in horror as people were seen jumping to the street below.
It was devastating, to say the least.

According to Wikipedia, an estmated 200 people jumped to their last day.

I also have no interest in reading fanfiction right now, for my own reasons, so I- well hell, I shouldn't have to apologize to anyone, except maybe for Gosha. I've been reading her fanfiction, and haven't read it in a year. I start to read others work..and I'm just not interested, or distracted.

What I don't understand is these damn subtle hints- outright telling someone what's wrong, and being nice about it...is a better way to go in my book, publicily announcing what's wrong in a journal with a subtle hint isn't really the way to go.

*It's immature..well hell- I'm so immature!

If I'm doing something wrong I'd rather have a note sent to me.

I'm not saying anyone's telling me off... It's the way I feel. I sometimes feel that I pay attention to journals way too much. And, another thing.. LupinGoddess is a great artist and only one comment.

What's wrong with people! I'm not doing anymore features for a while. I think I suck right now because of subtle hints, and from other deviants who no longer talk to me.

I do clam up when I think about IM's. It's me, not anyone else. I'm a nervous nelly and I talk a lot here, but I'm so so very quiet as a mouse in real life. People think I'm weird because of it and right now...they can go to hell because I don't give a shit, I'm tired of giving a shit, I'm not sorry for my blantent language use, I don't care about anything anything right now.

So much for no drama..it can go to hell too!

Edit: Aww nuts! Maybe I'm being stupid and will be on tomorrow. Why should I not be on? I adore dA and my dA pals!

It seems like I get more commentary when I take the time to talk about things, than I do when I just talk about nothing.

Well, summer's almost gone...It seemed to pass way too fast this year...and it was a boring one to boot. I already have visions of Halloween and Xmas swirling about in my head- I always get excited over the holidays early..

Of course...my costume hunting days are over... last year even my daughter didn't dress up. She only went as a guy with her three friends.

She also creates unique jewlery pieces and I just happened to take a jewelry class in High School..and have a slight interest in the craft.

Shes illustrated books as a freelancer and has worked as a goldsmith. She has a love of wolves, and a mutual love of Dragonball Z.

Ive been doing a lot of late spring cleaning lately. I have a three bedroom townhouse type apartment, with two baths and a full basement. In other words, Ive been busy. The sons giving me a hard time lately as well. I just love being called every name in the book

I still love it here...

I had a very boring vacation... visited with my parents and my son did nothing but beg to go back home...

His friend Jessy, who had moved last October to Tennesse, has returned. He's moving back here, so my son has recovered from the- er...whatever it was that ailed him... He hasn't been playing his playstation 2 much, and his attitude has changed for the better. I'm so relieved!

In hamster news: Maysie has a new aquaraium to play in. It's bigger and has a wheel, which I bought seperate... $35.00 on a damn hamster!! :3

Good thing Jay doesn't read this...

That silly thing was busy at my parents, she was either in the kitchen or the back room, which is kind of like a family room...but not..

Anyway, she wasn't used to so much activity and was up during the day, to which, I might add, hamsters are nocturnal..so she was up around the clock. I would watch her late at night, trying to keep busy, but she'd end up either dozing as she sat up.. (She'd suddenly keel over.)... or she would be trying to climb her water bottle. Her little hand and foot flailing as she hung on for dear life...

We'd have to keep taking her off of it.) I had given her cage with her wheel to my cousin so she'd been without a wheel for almost a fortnight, the poor thing!

Other than that... my life's very boring...

My parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party is tomorrow... and I'll get to see a lot of my relatives that I haven't seen in a while..

That's always fun..

On a sad note, my brother-in-law's mother was taken off life support last night. A few days ago she was rushed to the hospital. She had stopped breathing and had a brain aneurysm. She had been on oxygen from emphysema and had still been smoking..

So, she's passed on to a better life. I hadn't known her well, but it's still very sad..

My next featured friend needs a lot of support and prayers right now as she's having surgery, and I wanted to cheer her up by featuring her! She's quite an artist and I love her style of dragonball art. She's a complex young artist whose work has evolved with pratice and encouragement, and lots of understanding, and compassion.
