Man though, my personal art is suffering. I haven't done anything NOT for class in months. Well, I take it back. One picture that may or may not make it up here as it was nothing more than a doodle of a previous drawing.

I've been going through some of the older crap in here, and deleting things that I really can't stand to look at any more. The little tattoo doodles stay, they bring a nice air of nostalgia when I look through them that I'm not ready to part with yet.

I go with a few people to A-Kon on Thursday, with a most likely unfinished Hades Shun cosplay. But that doesn't matter. I'll just see how I can manage sending in some 3D modeling assignments for character modeling and balance the con schedule along with it. Shouldn't be hard, I don't do the concert/

Enough ranting. I'm out of here before the next wave of storms pass through here.dance thing.

I have a few Yugioh wallpapers I tweaked on that I may or may not upload.

The 14th starts off my classes again. A Storyboard class, and dreadfully Physics online. I'm not looking forward to that one.

Going to A-Kon this year was a blast and I'm already planning on saving up for next year and actually making a costume for it. I'm about 70% dedicated to going as Hades-possessed Shun. (I'd go as Andromeda but I couldn't make that armor to save my life)

My uncle, who I've always felt very close to just died tonight. All that I know is from my cousin calling us to let us know he was found passed out in the backyard and was rushed to the hospital, only to call minutes later with the news that he didn't make it. If that wasn't bad enough, I'm drowning in classwork after finally being accepted into the Game Art and Design program with AIo. Write a paper a week, give in-depth descriptoins of games I plan on doing.characters to create/games I'd change and improve/card and board games I'd transfer into electronic games.. It's sapping all of my creative ability thinking of this stuff every week. I'll cope, it's just taking some adjustments.

IF the people at Hughesnet decide to finally stop blocking dA I'll be able to upload some of the pictures I'm currently working on when I have free time.

Currently, for some really confusing unknown reason, I'm only able to even load DeviantArt one or two days a week. All other times I get a blank white page with "Failure to Connect to Web Server" or some similar message. No matter which computer in my home I use, or which internet browser. This happened right before our internet decided to die on us, and after it was fixed, but apparently Hughesnet isn't compatible with the site anymore or...something. It's odd. Hopefully it will be fixed.

So, started my second term of classes already, and I'm in week 2 of classes. Now I'm remembering why I hated Color Theory so much before, doing it online is just worse -_- and Fundamentals of Design isn't a cake walk either. Illustrator is @_@ so hard. I can't make heads nor tails of that program and that class wants everything to be done in Illustrator. I thought figuring out Photoshop for classes was hard enough..

That's enough from me, it's 5 am and by my clock I'd say a good time to get a little sleep before logging into class.

I've not done too much worth submitting here, at least in my own mind they're not good enough. And my scanner has been very anal to me, yet again, and has decided that it just doesn't want to even recognize that I turn it on. >_>

Slight news: I start taking college classes towards my major again FINALLY! On July 9th I'll be online with the Art Institute of Pittsberg so maybe that will help me finally get the ball rolling.

I've been much more active on Gaia and color for one shop currently so my muse isn't completely dead.

And Shadi I promise I WILL get to your pic again

once I can kick my scanner back to behaving. I have the line art fully completed.. but it just won't scan for me.

Supposed to write 6 things about myself that is strange, bad habit, or that I don't like about myself. Just six? Kay, I can do that..

1. I don't talk. Unless I know you, or we've spoken online or anything...it's pretty darn hard to get a word out of me.

2. The voices in my head tell me to do things, then change their mind and want something else. Oh...and they don't like meat. But I'm not a vegetarian so.. sorry to them.

3. I mark every full moon and Friday 13 in my calender every year.

4. On all psycological personality tests I am 95% an introvert.. but online and roleplaying.. I think it could be very close to almost the oposite. Either that or I use up all of the urge to talk and everything while online so I don't have to in person.

5. Umm.... I lose things. XD No, I know it sounds normal but I'll set something on my desk, and walk uot of my room for a few minutes. When I come back, what I had set down is gone.. and it takes a few days before it shows up on the other side of the room. -technically ot something about ME but.. meh-

6. Umm...okay maybe this was a little harder than I thought uh.. I make the weirdest typos.. and forget things sometimes quickly. Longterm memory is good, but short term.. I went to my comp class the other day and had to stop in the hall and go all the way back to my mom's office to look at my schedule because I forgot what room the class was in.

All of my works in progress, the fanfics I had been working so hard on, I tried using my new dvd burner to burn it all onto a data dvd to save them, the dvd held all of ONE SONG on it...none of my important things..

So for now.. my to-do list is on a long, long hiatus while I try and reinstall all of my painting programs, redownload all of my custom brushes, reinstall the tablet, possibly try and remake the AMVs I had made in the past if I can download the footage and music again.... and everything else I need before I can even start on my works again. TT

Karma must have hated me yesterday, I swear it.. I haven't killed anyone worthy of that...I've wished it though, but never gone through with it.

This is the first day I've been able to access dA using my mom's laptop, which has no art programs on it at all so my to-do list is at a standstill for now. TT I am hoping that the new motherboard and memory sticks my dad ordered for my computer will fix the problem. Until it is fixed though, i won't be able to get on again to submit, or comment or fav anyone's work. Gomen nesai minna!! I'll get on again as soon as I can! --end of Update

I got to open a gift early and my parents DID get me a tablet! ^^ -squeals fangirlishly before slapping self-

FInally though, I've been asking and hinting to them to get me one for about 3 years now. In all seriousness I expected a small one, or a 6x8" one.. but no. They got a 12x9" one. ^^ I can't wait to get the hang of this thing and not kil my wrist with the mouse anymore!

Other than that.. we did the whole 'family' thing yesterday and my cousin came through, buying me a couple of zoids. Command Wolf AC and Maccurtis. Other gifts were just the usual.. a pair of gloves and hat from my grandmother, money, and gift cards to my favorite bookstores. We do all the rest of the stuff in the morning before we have to go see our grandfather.. >_> and the step family...

But ANywho.. ^^ Yay tablet.. I'm so going to master it and use it for my to-do list.

Okay...so ten degrees above freezing, but still. TT The weather's been a freaking yo-yo. COld, then hot, then cool, then really hot, now freezing.

It makes my head hurt, thinking about it also makes my head hurt a little. Meh. I'm so glad I have a heater under my desk now, but still. It was 44 degrees outside and our units were still set on air conditioning.

Seems that this year will be the first in a long time that my old highschool's invitational marching contest will actually take place in cold, non-rainy weather. Wow.. Usually it's really hot, and I pity everyone that participates then..thick wool/cotton uniforms in the heat isn't a good idea.

Anyway...I've been in a slump recently, just three drawings going, two of them sketches. I'm going to get back into drawing duel monsters again I think, so if you have a favorite card you want drawn.. just ask and I'll see about getting it done.

~I've been thinking about making "angel" wings for cosplays sometime this year. I know how to, and have a supplier for feathers already lined up. Just time consuming, and keeping the money I need to buy the supplies and all that for them. I'll be testing that out by starting with a few small or medium pairs of wings, which are mid-back to waist length in size.

Does anyone know of any diseases/conditions that would have myotonia as a symptom? I've had all the tests done and I don't have myotonic distrophy, but myotonia is a symptom of...whatever it is they are testing me for now. But my doctor has a heavy accent and I can't understand a word he says. My blood tests so far have all come back as being normal, maybe potassium just like one or two high but that's still concidered normal.. Desperate for any kind of information here.. whether asking in my journal helps anything or not..
