So.. I'LL TELL YOU ALL ABOUT MY LIFE DURING SUMMER.

School was out, we had a party. P: Then.. nothing except RPing and chatting online. XD Until yesterday when I went over to a friend's house and we watched X-Men and half of Xmen 2 (we probably could have gotten further, but I hit the eject button instead of the play button, because I am smart like that.) And then we went to see X-Men 3. I must say that the coolest "power" was the giant angel wings that Warren had. It's not destructive or evil or lame. Just cool.

And then I went to the mall today and ran into two friends there and we cooed at the puppies in the puppy store and talked and generally walked around the mall doing nothing. It was pretty fun.

And I got a book from the people who did that commercial Pocky showed me. P: "VAT.. ARE YOU SINKING.. ABOUT?? ):" I didn't even notice. XDD Until I read the cover and it said BERLINTZ. And I started laughing like crazy. And I went to Starbucks last night after X-Men 3 and got a Vanilla Frappachino and started laughing because it reminded me of Sim. My life is being taken over. I MADE IT. 8D!!

So, on our Rube Goldberg project--we got 290 points on that. The grading system is kinda funky though. Anything over 85 points is an A, as long as it has all 6 simple machines. It's graded on a curve, so whoever gets the most points gets a 100%, 2nd most gets a 99%, 3rd most gets a 98%, 4th most gets a 97%, and then every one else who got over 85 gets somewhere from a 90% to 96%. The second place amount of points was 210. cccc: That's going to bump up my Geometry and Science grade for sure.

Not that I need my science grade bumped up. Apparently I got an award for having the highest average for the entire year out of our entire pod in that class (180 students). But I was working on my Language Arts paper and didn't go.

And I turned in my Language Arts paper today~~ except I only got 19 out of 20 pages. I was finished, but I didn't get 20 pages. :< Hopefully, I can still get an A in that class, but I have like the second highest grade in the class and I have a 92.8. Hard class, man. Like, practically everyone in that class has a B except for 5 or 6 people. I think I'm the only one who gets 92-95's on a consistent basis, but whatever. If I screwed up this project, I'm screwed for sure. But~~! He did say that he was grading it off whether you met the requirements and if you did, you automatically get at least a B. So I can probably get an 88-89 and MAYBE have an A. But I don't need a 4.0 in middle school to get into Harvard, and this language arts class is WAY harder than any high school class. c:

I got my Spanish final grades, and I got the credit for Spanish 1-2, easily. I would have been placed in Honors 3-4, but I'm taking German 1-2 next year because I don't like Spanish. XD I just wanted the credit. So.. now I have the credit for Algebra from 7th grade, the credit from Spanish 1-2 and when I take the Geometry final and HOPEFULLY pass it, I'll have that credit too, all before I even go to high school. 8D joy.

So, I have my Geometry final on Thursday, and I totally need to cram. I don't know like ANY of the formulas for surface area and volume in 3-d figures except prisms. :< We kind of skimmed over that part.. my teacher isn't too great, but whatever. And I can't figure out whether I need a real compass or if I just plain suck at construction. And I REALLY need to memorize the formula for a circle, because I know how to complete the square and change it into the actual formula from not looking like its in the formula's basic form, but I don't know the formula too well.

I THINK we're performing our musical really soon, but I'm not sure. Out of the three our class is doing, ours is the most boring, and we have the only main character who can't sing for crap. XD It's pretty funny.

And then Friday, we have the Promotion Dance. And then I'm going to my friend's party for an hour and then going to my closer friend's party for the rest of the night and morning and afternoon. XD Sleepover! cB

And then Monday we're going to Sunsplash, and NEXT THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! yeehaw! (((((:

- A 20 page essay (double-spaced, thank God) that is worth 400 points, 50% of our language arts grade. This is also paired with 4 drawings, a 4 pg essay, another 2 pg essay, 2 poems, and a bibliography. Yes, I know bibliographies take 5 minutes. Shut up.

And sadness, because this has been like the best year of my life except for when I was in kindergarten. I already knew the alphabet, so I just spent the whole year in the hallway reading "When You Give A Mouse A Cookie" etc. That was pretty awesome. ((:

OKAY. I'm SO done ranting, because I have 4 pages (doublespaced, that's 7. like MS word's math? me too.) to write, and an essay, and some maps to draw. And some wood to cut and some motors to turn.

SPEAKING of BAND CONCERTS.. we played music from LOTR. and billygrl here (who has a name in real life) got me so obsessed. well, not really. that was Aragorn, who is sexy, but she gave me the movie which I saw Aragorn in. And now I want to be Viggo Mortenson's best friend. :< he's 34 years older than me, so no marriage, but he was at the 1980 olympics + was at the game vs soviet union (miracle.. you know.. there's a whole movie about it and one of the players was hot, but I don't remember which [in case you didn't know, i play ice hockey c:]) + writes + is musical = so awesome it's not even cool.

WAIT, RIGHT, I went to San Diego for school. Totally forgot about that. It was pretty awesome. Shamu got us so wet we could have jumped in his tank and swum around with him and we would have been drier. People I didn't know who probably lived in.. somewhere else.. were like, "OH HONEY, YOU'RE SO WET" and I was like, "Just a LITTLE." and then on like the bajillionth time I got fed up and was like, "I DIDN'T NOTICE. D<" We had to buy towels we were so wet. And we left a wet trail all over EVERYwhere and people were staring at us. It reminded me of the Sesame Street song Hoody was talking about (hoody is this guy. he's cool.) that's called "One of These Is Not Like The Other" or something. Everyone was totally dry except us. My hair was crazy gross, but it was fun at the time, until I was still wet 4 hours later in 90 degree weather. Yeah.

I had a practice (stupid), a game (good, we beat a team we haven't beaten before), and ANOTHER game RIGHT AFTER (stupid, I played for the other team because they sucked and almost got 2 goals but no, I'm a dumb shit who hits the post two for two). I really wanted to go to this Japanese festival downtown, too, but my mom wouldn't let me go because I was about to die of fatigue. So we're playing at the highschool's homecoming football game against their biggest rivals (homg us little 8th graders are going to get beat up and our lunch money taken D: ). We're gonna suck, but no one will know because the HS band is so good and loud. :'D

So yeah. I have psychotic but awesome teachers and I'm in this group called a squad and we got all the "popular" idiots--er, kids, right--and it sucks. Muchly. A few of my friends aren't in my pod (groups of teachers are called pods: there's A, B, C, and D) but that's all right. A few of my close friends are FINALLY in my pod again which is nice o.o SO. That explains why I haven't been on, plus last weekend we went out of town to Flagstaff (kudos to whoever knows what I'm talking about ;D) for a hockey camp. Busy busy busy life ToT;; But it's great. Life is great. Even with school.
