I've been off the pencils for a while because I got me a job for the past month. Updating database that was.
A bit boring sometimes, but definitely a good work experience. Still, I was exhausted just enough to not have any sparkle to draw something. 6-7 hours staring at a bloody computer every day, how 'bout that ?
I know there's worse : my best-friend-ever works at a refinery, full-on suited up, 35°FC (Fucking Degrees that is), scouring oil barrels. But he doesn't draw that much...

Now I want to go for a japanese 'Zero-Chicara-esque' styled engine. But it won't be for a couple of weeks, I'm afraid. Too worried about September exam session.

So I eventually finished my job time (1035 €, people !! :p), and I decided to treat myself with a 160Gb USB HDD, since I've been through some trouble with my laptop (the explorer.exe thing to be precise). After a good 2 week of ranting, peace came back to my vocabulary, which soon became a uninterrupted flow of profanity. :) Nothing :new: on the drawing desk, just the ol' bike longing to be achieved (give it another 2 months...) and some ideas popping in but quickly kicked out (my obvious lack of talent calls me back to the tough reality).
On September 25th, I'll have to go back to university and have another try at graduating, but this time with a twist : I have no student room on location :evillaugh:. And that means at least a 100€ of gasoline per month for the dudemobile and 1h30 on the road every darnished day. I bet this is gonna be much fun... :X

I finally got to work at the local library, which means that I'm just desperately waiting for the end of the month and the 930 I'll earn :shakefist:. Well, it's been a change, since I didn't do shit for the past couple of months (see previous entries). Actually, it's a more a day-to-day search for something to do, as August is a dreadful period in my little town... EVERYBODY (even retired people) is on vacation, so there's not much company. I feel more like compensated than really paid for what I do... :O
Anyway, I had a project bike on the run that I dropped a bit, but it'd be out there by the end of the month:please:. I'm so tired pretending doing something all day :phew:, that I've got no energy whatsoever to draw properly.

An impressive half-an-hour first part :yum: from a local band (don't remember what the name was), very energetic, good vibes, musically close of The Hives with a female lead singer whose voice (reminds me of french singer from Dolly). Awesome starters...

BAM !! An amazing set crossing from blues to boogie basics, dAmn sure, that's Canned Heat. :sun:

I didn't know much about their music but I was pretty sure about it, Canned Heat are GoOoD ! (not so much :headbang:, but really :nod:). Each soul in the band goes for his solo moment. "Make luv, not war !", Greg still got rhythm on the bass, Robert Lucas incredible :worship: in his harm & guitar gigs, drums beatin' harder. Technical problem for Barry and his devoted amp, NOT A PROBLEM, Robert goes for devilish blues, and so it goes through their great hits (On the road again, Going up in the country) to the (quasi)final moment : "Same all over", with a lil' help from the audience, gone totally nuts after a full hour of great sounds...
Man, was it a tremendous show ?! Positively,:thumbsup:... :happycry:

Ahhh, up for a nice and smooth weekend that I needed after an exhausting week of work...

I'm a student, but I don't feel like one. Every week it goes the same, I take my ride up to Toulouse, set in my student room and I don't do :shithappens:. I still have the feeling it's not going so well : I get bad marks, no motivation, no perspective, not even a social/personal/job/future/destiny project :-X

I have no idea what I'm doing here. Chillin' on my bed, I could have devious thoughts for deviations, but not even a sketch of an idea.

I hope I'll find a way to move on, find my calling :movingon:
