For those of you who are not familiar with it, you begin in the single-cell stage of evolution, at which point you choose wether to begin as a carnivore or a herbivore. once you have chosen, you do your best to attain food for growth, and soon you will aquire the ability to evolve a spike onto your creature (which, in proper scientific fashion [if a bit quick] you edit generationally [through each succesive generation].

you continue to gather food and body parts to survive and evolve, growing bigger and closer to multi-cellular level in a most visually impressive way, until you finally reach the point where you evolve into a ground animal (skipping the fish stage).

You begin your ground stage as a direct translation of your single celled organism into a fully 3D creature, and are almost immediately given an oportunity to change this. As a creature, you must aly yourself with as many of the surrounding creatures as possible, or kill them in a brutal fashion. How well you perform all of this is controlled by what body parts you have, which you can collect a number of ways, from lotting dead animals to completing goals.

you soon develope sentience, and move into the tribal stage, which follows a similar vein to the animal stage, but you now control a small tribe, have a village (which gets bigger) weapons, musical instruments, tools and a RTS style contol scheme. Save the single cell stage, tribal stage is probably the shortest segment of the game, and is relatively easy.

Once you have advanced past tribal stage, you move onto civilisation stage, wich continues Spores amazing levels of customization. you know have a city, and are forced to make alliances and enemies with surrounding nations, choosing to either slowly take over their cities economically, religiously or militarily until only you and you mutual allies remain.
I Its at this pint you realise just how much continuity this game has, the island you began the game on as a simple creature is exactly the same, except it seems to get smaller as you zoom out, and take the further off land masses into account. I also like how you could make and paint your own different buildings for your cities, and the vehicles for them as well.

Once this is done, you move onto the BIGGEST stage of all, the space age. You (once again) design your vessel, except this time you REALLY get to focus on style, as the parts you get to build with are from ALL of the other forms of vehicles from the previous age (I made my ship the Enterprise-D ) and they dont have any effect on the ships functionality.
You begin with some simple missions, mainly to set the groundwork and act as a tutorial, but soon you'll be warring with religious zealots, stoping planetary eco-disasters, carrying out missions, terraforming, colonizing, and finally: Trying to reach the center of the galaxy.

I am currently in the space age, and LOVING IT! The only real downside are the constant allerts and emergencies from your colonies and allies, which make it impossible to actually focus on long or time constrained missions, such as traveling to the center of the galaxy, or trying to find the grox.

All in all, i like spore, and have just realised how freaking long this journal is.

I have just reached the center of the galaxy in spore, and while it was cool, and rather funny, i think the reward was a little underwhelming. As for me, i'm going to go shoot some obelisks at planets, and maybe try and find SOL and blow earth up

The thing is incredible compared to my old computer! the screen is flat! actually flat! I relise this is commonplace for computers, but my old one was not a flat screen, it had a 20cm brick of plastic protruding from its rear, and even the glass was not flat!

Even better news, I may be able to get Gmod on this computer, which means more pictures for everyone!

I need some advice though. Until now all my computers and electronic devices have been named after the nine divines from oblivion.
My old computer was named akatosh, and I have named 3 usb's (2 of them now lost) talos, stendarr and kynareth.
I am hesitant to name my new computer after the divines, as I am less inclined towards oblivion nowadays (i sitll love it though)

So, my question to you is thus: what should i begin naming my electronics after?

Life is still going quite well, but somehow i am geing more homework now my assignments are done. Its almost Holidays now, so i may have some more time to maike some pics, but at the same time, none of them will be good seeing as i wont be able to use photoshop/fireworks but oh well!

In devART news i am still going slow, despite my recent flutty of activity, but i may be writing some short stories soon, so look out for those. I have discovered that adobe wins at everything, and that fallout 1,2 and tacics are REALLY hard to get pictures for (print screen just makes the screen go nuts). I might be changing my Avatar to a gif soon, but i'm not sure which to use. should i have a moving version of my current one? or a death star related one (its already made, i just need to change the size to 50x50)

in gaming news, I've lapsed back into playing oblivion recently, and am still on my quest o manually shut EVERY oblivion gae (its fun ). I own fallout 1,2 and tactics nowadays, but am stuck between 3 deathclaws and a wall ATM (literally, like, thats where i saved)
Fallout 3 DLC looks the shiz, but i dont have nay money to get em.

Ah well, life goes on. I am approaching the end of my first term of my first year of proper highschool, and it is going prety good. My subjects arent difficult, the assesement is pretty easy, and even homework is that bad

Anywho, back to stuff people may care about. I am now a proud owner of fallout 1,2 and tactics for PC. Fallout 1 is soooo unbeleivably slow! then agin, all PC RPG's are, even morrowind. I havnt tried fallout 2 yet, and i've only taken a cusory glance at fallout tactics, but they look good.
I now own halo wars (epic win, but the science {or lack thereof} is ticking me off) and half the mythic mappack. I would like to say again that if anyone wants to play, just tell me your gamertag and i'll friend you.
I have recently begun rying to write, so if anyone who reads this has any ideas as to how to keep up sustained writing, please share them.

In art news, I am still in my casual mood when it comes to dev art, next time i am on Gmod, i may make some more pics. I would like to also restate that i will make free halflife/counterstrike/TF2/portal pics for anyone who wants them.

Also, I have been playing CS:S zombie panic, and am addicted. nervous zombie is hard, and a little bugged, but fun, extel is a litle easy and over crowded, and heres another like extel, but WAY harder.

I apalogise once again for having no pics up, but i've been a bit busy with he aformentioned zombie-ing.

'Twas three nights before christmas, and i was playing Gmod all day!

during said gmod binge, A friend of mine, Blaze-Engaged, asked me to help with some machinima of his. While at first there wasnt much happening as the server we were going to film on was down, we soon started filming and drafting local players to help. The machinima we are making is called "a n00bs guide to spacebuild". After a day of throwing ideas around and making some short clips, we finally decided to make this a seriius thing, and came up with the idea of making our own machinima group.

After a little discussion, we named outselves, fusion moon, after the massive fusion explosion we rigged on a spacebuild server one time. we have a logo, the screenshot of said explosion in my gallery, called space background. If there are any people out there who own gmod and are willing to help, we could always use some new people.

Hopefully both my first machinima and the halo comic will be up in the next few days.

Also, anyone who still wants a half-life or halo picture of anything specific tell me, i'f be more than happy to make one.

in game news, i have fallout 3, and it kicks ass. so much ass in fact, that i changed my Gmod background to the fallout 3 BoS paladin, and put the theme as the Gmod startup noise.

'tis the season to be lazy! in other words, as of this journal, i have half a day of school and a special parade dealy (which is gay) before I am FREE FROM SCHOOL!

This is but one of the many reasons i am 73h happ135. my Bday is on the 12th, by good friend [link] (who is in the spike 'nades pic) had his Bday on the first, and is nearly christmas! WOOOOOOOOOO!

to celerbrate all this superness, I have decided to open the floor for free commisions (i think thats the word) of gmod pics. in other words, anyone who reads his journal has the chance to ask me to make a Gmod pic for them, and i will. once said pic is ready they can do what they want with it, put i in their gallery, print&burn it, i dont care.
keep in mind it'll be a while before i have access to gmod, so it may take some time to get anything done.

in game news, I am finished the first third of my heroic halo marathon, where i plan to play through all 3 halos on heroic in a row (not straight, i don't like coffee). also, left 4 dead looks kickass, and bioshock 2, as well as halo3 ODST are on the way, so w00tzorz.

At the moment life is going great, i've nearly finished school for the year, my Bday is coming up (12/12) and fallout 3 is right around the corner (if i remember to save my moneys that is).

in game news i am back into xbox live, and starting to warm up to oddball (still hate king of the hill though). just a reminder, if anyone who reads this journal has a steam or Xbox live account, my steam ID is echo-63, my steam name is Hourglass, and my steam page is qwerty300. my xbox live accoun is Knucklebreath.

I just downloaded the new xbox experience, and frankly, its about as much of a new experience as putting sugar on off fruit (bittersweet, lol) by which i mean, it isn't REALLY that new, they've just thrown an avatar sysem in, added a few features, changed the user interface and messed up the background themes.

however, i DO like the new one better than the old one, simply because the xbox guide is better now, and it loads quicker.

anywho, i MIGHT be making a machinima comic or video with a friend in Gmod next year, but no promises.

yes, i am excited (as you can see by the title) I was playing oblivion today, and i had jus stolen savillas stone from the temple of the ancestor moths for the gray fox, and i decided to walk back to bruma.
I was about half way there when i spotted an oblivion gate, and this time round i've decided to try and shut 'em all before i beat the main quest. So i run inside the gate, and i'm jumping around slaying daedra, when i notice something in the distance. i move closer, and i see....AN OBLIVION GATE!
I used some heat resistance spells to go through the lava, then i climbed over the rocks and stuff to get to it, i run through it and BAM! I'm in blackmarsh, about 1min south of nocturnals shrine! I went from the jerrals to blackmarsh in 2.5 min without fas travel! YAY!

Okay, so i've finished my rant, now i can talk like a rational little nerd.

I got fableII a few weeks ago, but it had a lot of its special edition content cut, 'cus microsoft is gay. Its a great game, though lacking in game time, but it makes up for this with a great deal of replayability. In this one, your choices have a much greater affect. One of the choices you make in the tutorial alone chooses how an entire section of bowerstone turns out!

I'm saving up for fallout 3, many people say its better than oblivion, and one of my freinds (who is a MAJOR WoW nerd) says it might even be better than world of warcaft!

In devART news, I've hit 1000 pageveiws... WooT! I plan to put up a 1k Pv YAY pic, but you know wha happens when I plan stuff.

i am still in a holiday mindset ( thats pretty paheic i know) so i keep forgetting to do, well pretty much everything.

I am really sorry about not geting any artworks up, bu the term just started and i've been pretty out of it.

On the upside of things i now own artrage and GIMP, so my artworks will look just a tad less crappy.

I am going to post a few of my old pics edited in GIMP and see how everyone likes them. as awlays, bad feedback will mean removal, no feedback or goodfeedback will mean them staying.

In gaming news i am now kinda helping a friend with the creation of a RTB mod called zacs pack.

the pictures of my holiday should be up when i get the time ( it takes ages to upload pictures on his computer)

I only have 10 minutes to write this up so it will be pretty quick

i have finished my holiday away from the net, and I am planning to post some photo's i took very soon.

I have beaten halo3 and will probably still be away from onlivion for a few weeks

in art news, i am planning to post more TPWD soon, but i am still stumped about how to make a joke about umbra. I will also be posting a few blockland related comics in the future, but i might just give up on them halfway through (hey i'm lazy)

If anyone has any ideas or comics, or advice to improve he ones i have now, please say so, because i am not ignorant of the fact that my comics ar terribly drawn.

In more specific art news, i am trying to finish the TPWD series, bu i am jus a tad stumped as to what i should do for clavicus vile (i'm thinking of putting sheogorah in it, cos everyone loves sheogorath.)

In gaming news i am now a proud owner of the halo3 collectors edition, and have already beaten it on easy.

In other news i am looking for some help. If anyone can provide screen shots of oblivion that i could use instead of crappy MSpaint images, i would be most grateful.

I know this journal is a week late (as mentioned in the title) but we had to remove our roof at my house and the net was cut off.

But on the upside, while i was trapped inside my room, i managed to come up with heaps of new ideas for comics.

the comics i made during this time are called "lockdown arworks" because i had nothing to do except us ms paint, so i was going just a little crazy.

in other art news, i am about to start a series called the problems ith daedra. It will be a number of comics, each one making fun of a different daedric prince. (and yes that does include sheogorath)

i am starting to think that the quality of my artworks is dropping, and thats saying something, cos these were terible to begin with.

In gaming news, i am soon to be a owner of HALO3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anywho, i have a few ideas for comics, but i'm just to lazy to make them (hey its the end of the school term)

i would also like to add that i have just reached my 17th favourite!!!! yay me!

AAAGGGGGHHH, i didnt even write a journal last week! * hits self over the head with a wooden bat*

I a really sorry to the little group of people who might read this tupid thing, but last week there was non-stop rain for like 5 days and i couldn't use the net. anywho if i had a good camera i would've posted pictures of the lunar eclipse that happened the other night but i dont, and i didn't.

In art news i am probably going to be posting a comic or two soon, probably about valen dreth and my new character in oblivion, arctaelia. and also, i might soon be moving into FAN FICTION! DUN DUN DUUUN!

the fan fic will run parralel to xxdarkraynexx's Year of Akatosh, but i am still waiting for for a reply on the permmission request.

In game news i still have blockland, and am now playing oblivion undr a pure mage Breton acount called Arctaelia. I'm pretty sure most of you oblivion 360 users know this cheat, but for those who don't equip some arrows ( 10-50 is best if you dont want any lag problems) then throw a punch and press "B" halfway through the attack activate the menu, then scroll down to the arrows to press "A" and then "X" and scroll down to any item ( not all items work, like hrormirs ice staff and umbra) and press "X" to drop it. Then Press "B" again and there should be a number of copies of the selected equal to the number of arrows equiped.

Hoping no one kills me for bing this lazy

I CANT BELEIVE IT, I HAVE BEEN FAVOURITED 11 TIMES!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!! okay calming down, i have decided to remake worst jobs in tamriel ( wich holds 4 of the aformentioned favourites) and i might make another iPod spoof ( maybe something stupid like iKea (lol) ) also i might be making a comic celebrating the fact the i have over 10 favs!!

in game news i have finally figured out how to talk to namira. also i am now playing tony hawks project 8 (again) and i now also play blockland with bacs pack occasionally. any suggestions are appreiciated,

in game news, i am becoming more adept in the use of blockland, i've already started a custom map. And i've beaten oblivion!!!! if anyone else who sees this journal knows how to activate the squid lobster daedra shrine statue near bruma, please tell me!

in art related news i have i am about to ( like as soon as this jounal is finished) post an artwork that will look completly gray, but if you zoom in you will see otherwise. also i have two oblivion comics on the way ( though one is still in the idea stage)

in art news i am planning to make an oblivion or kingdom hearts iPod picture or comic. i will also be adding more kindom hearts comics if i get round to it.
