The prints and calendars came in today, and -- well, the color conversion derped a bit, so they're a bit darker than intended (and a little blue-tinted), but they're acceptable. And so shiny! And some of them are huuuuuge. Oh my goodness.

Alas, the Alfalfa Monster is too great for this world. Due to frequent complications during the printing process (and our overambitious print size), it looks like we won't be able to get the shirts out after all. We're looking into other options, but for now, we will be cancelling the project funding.

We'll post pictures and a further explanation later, so you can see exactly what happened and why we decided to cancel. We do have a few test shirts that we may try to do something with, but be aware that they have some issues (we call them "Grunge Alfalfa", take from that what you will).

There may be a problem with the shirts -- I had assumed that the available colors came in every size, but it turns out that's not the case. White and black shirts go up to 6XL, but all of the other colors are only available up to either 3XL or 4XL. I sincerely apologize for this; it is entirely my fault for not checking as thoroughly as I ought to have.

So, I decided I wanted to try making a show-accurate Fashion Style Celestia, so I bought up a spare and set about getting her ready. This is my first custom ever, but I'm not really being ambitious, I'm just going to repaint and rehair her (and probably do her cutie mark, sigh, I hate doing her cutie mark even when I have the luxury of copy-paste). She's just been dehaired (Baldlestia!), and I was kind of hoping I'd be able to salvage the hair because the FSes have extremely long 'dos to begin with, but...well...it was my first time de-hairing a pony, okay? Let's be kind and just say that this will not be an option.

:devElNeroDiablo: kindly gave me permission to work on his commission (Kiva ponies!) in a livestream, so I'm going to try for a straight shoot through just about the whole thing. This includes finishing the sketch, inking, coloring, the whole shebang.

It's been on its last legs for a while now, but it finally went and gave up the ghost. (I keep trying to use it anyway, out of habit. I move the stylus but NOTHING HAPPENS AAAAAAHHH)

Hopefully I can get a new one tomorrow -- I've been saving for one for a while, so the short notice will be a bit of a stretch, but it's doable. Poor Intuos3; at least you held on through the ATG. You will be missed.
