Summer even made it into DA. The pics are getting more colorful. People seem to enjoy their time in the sun.

At the same time you see more and more pictures of people who are getting so hot (yes, this is ambiguous...) that they immediately have to drop their clothes. So far so good... But why do all these people have to have pictures taken of themselves? OK, I could even deal with this... but why do they have to upload them on DA?

Alright, this doesn´t mean that I am against pictures of naked people, but hey, before you submit them, make sure they are pictures, who are at least half-decent to post, please...
Today, it took me forever just to browse through the photography section to find a couple of pearls...

My photographic works try to capture the moment, the atmosphere, the way things are.
At the same time you give them a personal aspect by choosing the way they look. I think it´s basically about creating your own world by showing things the way you perceive them or by changing them to what you think they should look like. You even set them up to achieve a certain look...

What I´m trying to say is that the equipment is totally secondary (of course, it´s mandatory that you know how your stuff works to achieve a certain goal...).
Therefore, I loved the comment by keshi, saying:

"Going through your gallery and I love your stuff. A lot of it manages to look very fun, but sad at the same time."

Thanks for understanding the intention...

and hence my new personal quote...

I got the message that two of my friends died in a car crash on early sunday morning, only two blocks away from my apartment. Apparently, they were on their way back home, when they lost control over the car and crashed into a post. For some reason, the car caught on fire and the five people in it fell victim to the flames, since they were not able to get out ...

I just realized that one of my old night shots shows exactly the place where they crashed...

I heard about deviantart at a German web development community, and YES I just had to try this.

Oh yeah, I´m German, which doesn´t hold me back from joining this community... (whatever that means...). Maybe I just wanted to say that my comments might turn out a little awkward sometimes because of language problems. I hope you won´t mind...

So I will just jump into the cold water and try to find my way around. I´ve already come over a couple of very remarkable designs, photos etc. Simply incredible!

I just hope you´ll enjoy my stuff as well (at least a little...). And don´t hold yourself back with comments, criticism, everything you want to write.
