secondly, this is something I wrote probably the beginning of the week, and thought I'd share it with my viewers. (plus the emote thingie at the bottom is not working, or else i would have posted sooner. so i'm not eager. right now i'm more like sore.)

Currently, I feel compelled to discharge my mind. To stop writing and painting in metaphors. To stop thinking. I want to lose myself to movement, to body, to free-form. I want to stop living in the past, I want to lose myself in the moment, to the present. I want to be everything I want to be. Most of all I want to dance without caring about what you think.

I want movement, I want body, I want touching, I want everything about anything that is about the physical and not spiritual. ("nothing matters but the body" ~queenhrosie)

no this is not about sex

This is about living in the Now. Living with purpose set in the present, never the past-though perhaps the near future. This is about losing myself to impulses, to freedom. To do everything and anything, and still nothing.
I want to touch you, and touch myself, not because I like it, but because I want to scrap off your dead skin cells, and say that you have outgrown your skin, that you to fit better in your current skin, you need to get rid of the old.

I want to say a million different things to you, to him, to her, to everybody. I want to read out loud words that were never mine, but I will take and adopt as mine so it becomes an integrated piece of me. and yet, I want to say nothing at all. I want my body to say all these words, and more. I want to say _{iloveyouiloveyouiloveyou,} but never have them leave my mouth, my tongue, my teeth, never have vocal sounds.

So, here are the rules:

and as i was looking for other poems. i stumbled upon my poem called: the meaning of life. it exceeded the 21 line limit. but the way i wrote it, it could be an essay. so i put it all together like so:

We are never in search for the meaning of life, until we have sought out the answers to who we are. This will be the hardest task that we all take on, but it is worth the journey for the truth. We start at new beginnings and find that we never truly know what's ahead, it's always second guessing. Some try too hard to find themselves that they are sometimes oblivious to the truth. Others don't try at all, and they grow up never knowing themselves and having enternal fear. But there are some who take on this challenge, and never do they let this blind them from the meaning of life. They make it to the end of the road. Knowing themselves truly for the first time. They learn that life is to live with truth, and die happy that you know yourself.

and it wasn't much of a poem. kinda more like a story...about my morning babysitting.

2 am

The movie is over.
The Parents will
be home soon,
or so they say.
Little dilequent Child
is still up;
well past his bed time
if he had any.
But what can i say. it's
New Year's.
The Child rushes
upstairs and
engages himself
in video games.
Jon and I go along
and play with him.
Parents call and
say they'll be home
a little after 3.

3 am
Continued playing
until they got home.
I started off so
strong but in the end,
sly tricks and stupidity
made me last in the game.
The garage roars through
the house,
as Parents drive up
the drive way.
blinding light flashes
in our eyes
from a camera;
our first picture
of the year.

3:30 am
The game is over
and so is my job,
Pack up my things,
collect my check,
and close the door
behind me.
The air is fresh
in this new day.
The sky isn't
gray and dark
as i thought
it would be.
Outside is just
so peaceful.
Makes you just
want to sit
in the mildew grass,
close your eyes
and let everything
go past you.

yep. after typing this and all...i decided to put it in my gallery after all. my favorite part of the poem is 2am and the 3:30 am part. but yeah. i hopoe every one is having a great new year's day. hope you had good memories of the eyar 2005.
this morning was great. and it made up for my crappy week i've been having the last week of the year. i wish every day felt so magical like this.
