AND THE MAIN CHARACTER HAS EYES AND DOESNT HAVE HAIR CONVENIENTLY OBSCURING HIS FEATURES. lolll im getting way too emotionally involved. lollllll and the 'fighting' system is brilliant oh man. the 2 second characters are way hotter than the main characters though although I do have a soft spot for rita. but that weird nurse in the competition oh man. lolllllll

so.... since ive been playing this ive had a renewed urge to work on eroge.

haha IM SUPPOSED TO BE DOING CG UGH. haha i keep forgetting im working on that game. it wouldve probably been done by now if i was working this whole time, its short after all.

at any rate ive been rereading vampire knight because uh... I REALLY LOVE IT =_= oh mah gah. every page im like 'ughhhhh how does she make everything so beautiful *tears in eyes*' srsly how does she do it?? i mean reading her sidebar comments has helped though especially her comments about how to get better at drawing. ive also been looking at my endless comic collection to try to learn how to lay out panels more dynamically -_-. despite taking a gazillion courses with the master i still fail at composition. (and i can still hear her telling me my bubbles are placed in the wrong spot in the panel)(AND I CAN STILL HEAR VICTORIA TELLING ME MY OVALS ARE FISH ;_; ) lol art school is traumatic. dont ever go to it.

but yeah vampire knight, this time when i read it i started to understand kaname a bit better. i still hate him and think hes a jerk but i dont violently dislike him anymore haha. hes such a mysterious guy its hard to see his good points right off i think.

(and or get a new sound card for that computer -_-. ) lol its killing me. speaking of hanakage- THE ART IS SO GORGEOUS. and shuri is so pretty nowwww. i guess the true ending of hanamachi monogatari was the stay there and continue working end -_-. which is sad ;_;. shuri is so pretty now thoooough ffff. he gives off a real wife-ish feel now lol a far cry from old shuri who was all desolate. lol the endings of the first game really got to me. i mean REALLY got to me. haha i got way too emotionally involved in it.

ENDOU ROUTE SCRIPT FINALLY DONE (2 months later) lol i sat down and finished it.
i find it hilarious theres like, 3 kazuya endings within the endou route. i love writing them as rivalz in love though, given endou is the husbandoh figure.

in an other (related?) note, fishing game pushed back due to wanting to write a guro script LOL. (and not wanting to write fluffy romance at the minute). tentatively i am starting on character designs. haha this one is going to NOT be just r-18, this'll be like r-???
and yes i know, one thing at a time.

ENDOU ROUTE (script) 60ish percent written (finally)
ICHIJOU ROUTE: getting there.
kazuya route (guro and bad ends): 100 percent complete
kazuya route (normal): 80 percent (need to draw a few more cgs)
sahara route: tentatively 60 percent (haha i changed the script around)

in other news, im making some decent progress on the sahara route, which now is prolly gonna be two endings (one of which is depressing as hell and has suicidal!kazuya), added a new hardercore guro ending to the already guro kazuya route LOL, and STILL havent done the endou route.

well ive been semi productive. started programming the sahara end and finished the prostitue bad end (lol yes there is a prostitute joke end too which isnt nearly as depressing) still no endou route written hahaha ive gotta get on that. also, what are peoples thoughts on having dual languages in the same game and just a language selection screen at the begining?

questionable- the japanese and english version might be different. the text is definitely different. the japanese dialogue is more 'complete' (as in its got aaahnnnn etc lolllll) but the japanese version needs to be more censored. i was just gonna have a uniformly censored version because im too lazy to make an uncensored one. however, the uncensored cgs do exist and i'll release the full cg set sometime after people have played through it all the way (haha cause i hate people who just look at the cg and dont even play games) along with a guide (not like you'll really need it, its a pretty straightforward game)

debt cage temporarily postponed while the kazuya arc is going on for a bit so i can adjust the script accordingly lollll haha now that we actually know what kazuya does for a living ive already rewritten some of it. i did start writing the sahara arc but stopped and wrote more guro LOL. hahaha also i pretty much scrapped all the sketches ive done for cg in the past month. i think ima go start taking the mentaiko school of tracing pronz for some of it. lol the endou route is getting ignored the most because i cant settle on a plot for it. the general plot is teiai is running a maid cafe (lol) but beyond that i dont know what else. ONE OF THESE DAYS I'LL SIT DOWN AND WORK.
theres like 50+ frigging cg done already though o_o

in the meantime, im gonna start writing the scenario for that fishing game lolll
i seriously love the plot of it. this one is gonna be way less sexual *if only because theres so damn many characters* and more on the theme of 'fun summer romance'. i want it to feel sorta like tokimeki memorial 2. concept art sometime in the near future, scenario also sometime in the near future i dont know what the hell im gonna do about the style of this. i wanna do it in that sorta lump of sugar looking style but im scared if i draw the entire game like that i'll get stuck in that style for months lol i like the current style im stuck in... however all my women look like men in this style and while i generally dont have a problem with that, its counterproductive to my cause. I should just have someone else draw all of it and just write the scenario -_-

scratch that lol not only have i broken more of my thesis pieces, it got fairly bad reviews -_- so much for sleep and lack of stress

haha i sat down and programmed the mahjong gamble section of the kazuya route which took like... 3 hours -_- one hour to decide the scenario, the other two checking myself for errors -_- like halfway through writing it i realized there were like 4 other ways to win that id totally left out lol (i was too lazy to write a full, normal game so instead the choices are more limited and directed, sorta like nanikiru but with less shiny graphics lol)

overall completion: 40-50 percent

(π０π ) ウルルルル　i am like way overly busy haha
ive drawn a ton in class but pretty much 90 percent of it is just cheap profiles and stuff. i did draw a good picture of cirno which i'll scan at least. and a few good group pictures of leo+jessamine's familia (including unlimited milano works) haha i kept trying to draw diary but she looks stupid in all of the pictures so i gave up lol

i have come to the realization i actually have way more free time on the bus than i thought. haha i know the instant i sit down and try to read a book or something i'll look up and be in like, australia or something. its just killing me though. i take out huge stacks of books from the library just so i can act like im still reading the same ammount i used to.... (but read like, half of one in 3 weeks) haha its deeeeply depressing to me. JUST A BIT MORE AND IM GRADUATED. then i can sit there and make snowflakes and read books and and and

haha for a person so incredibly flaky as me sheer utter lack of freetime is crushing. i have like, no skill at being responsible ;_;.

in other news, have you, dear reader, been watching the spring 2009 anime season? i sure have lol. (HAYATE!) haha while, for the most part it isnt very good, i've been pleasantly surprised about a lot of things. 07-ghost was way better than i was expecting (esp given i just was watching for the studio deen+ t3h g3hy). AND NATSU NO ARASHI IS AWESOME. haha i knew shaft wouldnt let me down.lol in my english class we got discussing reality tv and how everything has to be more and more to fufill the feelings of nostalgia we once had and i was sitting there thinking about harem anime and thinking about how that actually funtions fairly similarly to reality tv... haha im probably way overthinking things

lolllllll my hands are dead for a bit
i was chiseling all my horribly failed glaze off of a shelf and again, being an idiot as usual, i was being very oblivious to the glass lollll
i went to go sweep up the shards and the broom handle felt sticky, ignoring it for a bit and then realizing it was WET i look down and both my hands are bleeding like crazy (for the 3rd time this week) hahahahahahaha sooooooooo ima not do anything too intense for a bit so enjoy your even longer art lull.

haha im fairly sure im gonna get realllllly yelled at on tuesday for ruining some of the last few decent square shelves we had. i KNEW the glaze was gonna melt all over too -_-

but yeah. 35% done with my game, i'll have it done sooner than i thought if i get any free time to sit down and cg lol. im gonna do a japanese translation which will probably be out at the same time. other languages (with less accurate translations) if you really must have them way later lol. (maybe i'll do a mandarin one i dunno lol)
also for 5 dollars you can get the uncensored cg set. (lol i dunno why youd want it but apparently pixels just dont do it for some ppl) <--- (blatant attempt to make money.)
the game itself obviously is gonna be free given i couldnt live with myself if i charged money for it lol (+ id have to purchase liscenses for music -_-)
