Nicely stained, scratched and gore-spattered, laid to rest on an equally-filthy marble slab. Yummy.

Escher's light sabre is up for viewing. Took me about an hour to model and texture. I'm fairly happy with it, although the heavily-knurled grip didn't come out quite how I wanted.

In classic Esch style, this sabre is heavy enough and tough enough to be used as a bashing weapon, even with the power turned off!

With the blade fired up and the inertial accelerator at full strength, parrying a double-handed swing from this monster would probably knock you off your feet. Good thing Esch is a big kitty.

Edit:: Added a sketch of Escher looking all hurt and battered. Just a quick scribble, but I think it's pretty cool. [link]

Today's addition is a 3D rendering of Isegrim's light sabre, for future reference purposes. Does this mean more stuff on the way?
Might do.

Regrettably, I have a pattern of creating copious design notes and then abandoning the idea in favour of something fresher. Blah. Us cats are fickle. Live with it.

I had a dream the other night. It was Ise and Esch, our furcadian selves, having a star wars-related adventure. We were on a horrible alien jungle world, accompanied by a weird astromech-type droid and beset on all sides by icky slimy monsters. I kicked ass. Ise battled with slime. It was all very bizarre.

Hmm.

Make of it what you will. Anyhow, on waking, I immediately decided to draw it as a comic. The first part is nearly complete, still colouring all the jungle flora. I've posted the black and white outlines in the scraps gallery, and I think I'll post my rough flora designs, too.

Keep watching, this could be a whole adventure!
Well, everything's cool so far. I'm currently working on a character pic for the Khome Uprising story thread: Orrick Lamb. He's a psycho vigilante and a hulking cyborg to boot. When he starts kicking ass, it's gonna be brutal.

Sketch is going well, might be able to finish him off tonight. Here's hoping.

Meanwhile, I've uploaded a pic of one of the goodies, Commisioner Uriel Crane of the Van Dyne corporation.

He's old, but kinda cool.

Well, here I am. Seen the site enough times, so I thought I'd join up. I have to admit my main goal is to get people to look at the GC site (take a lookie, www.vds1.com), and maybe find some writers and artists.

Mostly we need writers. More than that, we need readers, geez.

Lots of stuff to upload, and I've been fairly busy of late, as well.

Hey, geez, can I post writing on here, too? Whee!
