Apart from the money aspect (which everyone is worried about these days).....
life is really nice at the moment, the new job is great and so are the people I work with. I am really busy, which is how I like to be. My Dad has his cateract done soon and Mum is much better. My new Grandchild is due this month and I have applied to do a microbiology course.

I was hoping to get some cash together to get some prints done to sell but it didn't work out that way....I will have to learn to be more patient!! I am a persistant person (some would say stubborn).

I won't have any wages 'til just before christmas and as predicted the bank was very unhelpful.
It means a whole month with no money and no bills being paid so it's going to be tough for a while and I will have to play catch-up with everything!!

By Spring things should be a lot better ROLL ON SPRING!!

Edit: Just heard that my daughters friend Steve was driven into a land-mine in Afganistan. They are all ok though. Just brings it all into perspective.

Greedy little bankers (typing error)

People are panicking and holding off building work or buying
things, so businesses aren't making the money they were and people are not investing.

... the politicians are full of conflicting ideas.... like let's put money into bailing out the banks, (but this ultimately comes out of extra taxes or essential budgets such as health, education ect.)

It is FINE to do this if it's only short term but as more businesses go under it puts the banks under more pressure because these businesses have overdraughts in order to manage cash flow which the banks will have to write off. So it goes on.

Whatever money they put in will ultimately be lost IF the panic goes on.

All the little businesses that were only just managing will go under, and unemployment will rise.

Politicians will blame each other and subsequent governments will blame their own mistakes on those that went before them saying 'Just look at mess we had to sort out'

I have no answer, I fear there is none apart from try not to panic and riding it out. Hard when there is no job to pay the bills.


Anyway that's about as political as I want to get!!!

At least we have each other!!!

I might try busking....people will give me money to stop!!!

They can't take my sense of humour!!!

EDIT:- Just found out that HSBC is raising their mortgage interest rate ..... it makes no sense!!! if people are struggling to pay at the moment, then how can they pay more!!! these people want us to fail so that they can take our property and profit from it later!!! they are not interested in their customers...Just lining their own pockets!!!

My eldest daughter worried for a few years that she couldn't have kids, now she is pregnant but she has been in and out of hospital a lot because she has hyperemesis gravidarum ([link])which means that she has been hospitalised around 8 times, which at only four months pregnant is a hell of a lot....but she is cheerful.

My son moved in with me after being attacked and losing his job because he couldn't climb ladders for a while. Due to the current climate, the building trade don't seem to be taking on painters, and even factories and shops seem not to be advertising but he is still keeping going and is trying so hard to be positive.

My youngest worked really hard at a nursery for well below minimum wage to bring up her daughter and save for an intensive driving course. Even after being bullied every day at work,she persevered until she had enough money. Then she left for her course...travelled for 7 hours to get there...got off the coach and her suitcase had been stolen from the hold. Every decent piece of clothing...make-up hairdryer phone charger etc. National Express was no help ... all they said was "we don't know if it was stolen, it might be lost." Meanwhile she is staying where she is and carrying on with her lessons....an amazingly resilliant young lady.

My kids are my life and I love them all!!!

Aparently they have to be taken for a walk every day whether there is freezing snow, ice rain or gales as a government initiative to stop them getting fat (ok for them to freeze then!!)

They can no longer sing baa baa black sheep in case it offends ethnic minorities....the sheep is now a rainbow sheep!!

They are not allowed to sing twinkle twinkle little star because the line 'up above the world so high' might be a drug reference! ....so they sing twinkle twinkle chocolate bar, your dad drives a wonky car .......so how high do planes fly?

They are not allowed to make pictures with sticks in case they poke an eye out!

Things have certainly gone crazy!!!!

However...then the whispering and the feeling that there is something going on started

I have the sneaky feeling that I am only there to do the excess work while they are busy in the summer...and when the work dries up (as it does in the building trade) I will be surplus to requirements. I think that that's what happened to the guy before me..and the one before that.
Or maybe I am just being paranoid...we will see!

Also I have a bug mystery...something has stripped all the leaves, (apart from the top ones) off my chili plants.....also (I presume the same beastie)all the leaves below head height from my honeysuckle!
The mystery is I can't see anything!!
I had Aphids on the chilis which i cured with the aid of a large and beautiful spider....but he hasn't scared what is chomping the leaves...I have a large snail problem (and as I can't kill them I take them on a small journey to some wasteground nearby) but I think honeysuckle is a bit tough for them....any ideas?

My computer had a mental breakdown on thursday and over 60 of my Apophysis parameters were deleted! I lost a lot of really good flames that I had worked on for ages!! Also yesterday it turned itself off and lost the photoshop painting I had been working on all day!!

It has been soo hot today..a real change from all the rain and flooding of late...I got sunburnt..even with the factor 50+ sunblock...feel a bit shaky too...nothing a good sleep and lots of water won't sort out though!

I wouldn't leave myself because of the people here and all the Art they create ,which is spectacular...and I would miss you!

I did seriously think about laying off fractals for a while and only making the odd one for people I know...but I decided If I want to draw I draw, if I want to make fractals I will and if I want to take a photo then that is what I will do!

The people here mean a lot to me and I hate to see people leave because of bad feelings or misunderstandings.........

At the end of this I just feel a little unsettled

He said that one had diabetes and the start of doggy alzeimers..and the other had bad cateracts so was nearly blind and had a bad heart.
He said the best thing to do was to have them put to sleep...I held them while they died
