I haven't updated my Journal for over a year. And a lot has happened. My Web Design company has gotten some clients, and lost some clients. My Freelance has taken foot in this town though. I have been working on Flash projects for three other Web Design firms in town here and there. The work still isn't pouring in though.

Indakind Designs has changed it's main focus from Web Design to also incorporate Software Development as well. We released the first part of software in our series of Web Components. ID 3D Portfolio : [link] It is a Slideshow / Product Gallery for your website but with a twist. It is in a completely 3D environment. I have posted a current screenshot as well as some concept screens.

Leave a comment if you like!

Thanks,

Jon West

So I moved my family to the Grand Rapids area and we are having trouble finding work right now. I would like to find a good graphics job in town but most of the employers I have meet with have told me they can't afford my skills. This I find funny. I never stated my income requirements. I would be happy making 25-30,000 USD a year. but these people thing I have been making aroung 100-250,000 USD. that would be nice and all. but if that were the case I wouldn't be in this situation to begin with. I pretty mutch just want somebody to hire me based on skill not appearence.
