HOLY CRAP.
My mind is shattered.
it was simply brilliant.
at first, a bit hard to understand, but once you grasped the time switches...well you still couldn't know what to expect next because there were so many twists. I caught on to a part of some of the secrets earlier, but nonetheless, the ending was still so unexpected, so...just...extraordinary!

I'm sort of in shock now.
Literally, i was breathing hard when the credits started. that's how amazing this movie was.
and sacrifice-this movie show what sacrifice for your art really is. my god.


Robert's obsession drove the plot with ease. and the end. god, the ending! i have no words. now i'm just spitting out phrases trying to describe how completely ingenious this was. but i can't i'm nowhere near eloquent enough, so just go watch it.



on not a completely different note, i'm completely obsessed with hugh jackman. I can't stop drawing him, watching interviews, looking at pictures. and it seems that right now, any movie without him is unsatisfactory and simply...flat somehow. same with the drawing. i try an try to draw different things, random people like i usually do, but i just can't concentrate on them. so i go back to drawing hugh.
and his oscar opening? AMAZING it was so funny. i've watched it several times and still i crack up. especially on the frost nixon part and the reader. he sings so well! there's no such thing as perfect, but he's sure as hell as close as anyone's gotten! still, i'm sure this phase will pass eventually, like everything does. In the meantime, he has played in many movies and is in many pictures that i've not yet seen!


im high on hugh jackman! w00t!

For me, each dream is an adventure. Sometimes, I get hurt, sometimes people around me die, but even so, throughout the entire night, I feel elated, joyful and accepted. Perhaps that's why I have such dreams. During the day, the stress of the world weighs me down like an anvil tied to the legs of a dove. Awkward conversations with people dear to me, more so than they'll ever know, hurt. I feel that when I can't carry a conversation, I'm not interesting enough. I think of things to say, but I double-guess myself almost constantly. What if this comes out sounding egotistic? Am I talking about myself too much? Am I asking too many questions about him? and the like. In dreams, no one talks, for there is no need. We each understand what the others are thinking, and the feeling it gives me is one of such wholeness and connectedness with the world.

Just the other night, I had a dream, a beautiful dream that I can only wish was real: I had beautiful white wings and could fly almost effortlessly. I flew through the hallways and over the heads of my fellow classmates, and though I've never even considered wanting wings before, I woke up this morning thinking that those wings was the most important thing in my life. I got out of bed, still half asleep, and I tried to flap my wings, only to find that I had none. Devastation hit me as I thought back to the night where I had soared through the skies and over buildings. I almost cried.

Other times, the dreams aren't about me, they're about people I know. Sometimes I dream of people that I haven't talked to, or even seen, in years. These dreams bring back memories, both good and bad, that I forgot even existed. Other times, I see a side of them that I've never seen. Increased compassion, maybe, and in that dream, he'd hold me when I needed it, and everything would be right in the world. Many times, it's a heightened addiction to adventure and danger. Then, we'd go through the city, fighting off bad guys together, knowing that nothing could bring us down. Sometimes, I dream of a nastier side to a person, and then, during the time I'm awake, I find myself searching for that dreamed trait in the person. Needless to say, I'm often disappointed. I'm sure that my conscious knows, or at least believes, that the dreams I see aren't true, but, maybe due to the insane amount of fiction I read, my subconscious clings to the belief that my dreams actually mean something.

Strange as it may seem, I don't believe in an afterlife; I don't believe that our lives here have any meaning. But maybe that's why I search for meaning in illusions of the mind. Maybe that's why I immerse myself in fiction, where a person's decisions do mean something. And maybe that's why I think too much.


But who knows? Maybe I'm just crazy.

im so freaking happy, you have NO idea. i slaved ALL day today and wrote 7 pages of bullshit for my creative writing class, took a 101 question FINAL for my macroecon class (that i didnt even look at since the midterm and got a 94) and last night i finished my last chem lab!!!! KAHHHH!!!!!!!!! this is the first rest from thinking ive had since the BEGINNING of school LAST year.

and im going to st louis tomorrow, on vacationnnn
for the next month, im going to do NOTHING. im going to sit around, watching anime, drawing, reading learning some guitarrr.

today was the first time i looked at any of the material: 94% ohya, i ROCK. XD

Also, im going to slippery rock university tomorrow for yearbook camp. I'm gonna learn how to use Photoshop! ohya. get to skip a chem lab *happy dance* yeah. I'm in a good mood, can you tell?

on the subject of chemlabs, I must say my lab instructor's a RETARD. this is gen chem I, a college level course. yet what does he insist on doing? HE READS ALL THE DIRECTIONS TO US. and on quizzes, he reads all the directions to us out loud, AND the question. Okay, mister? WE CAN READ. and if there's anyone who can, then they don't really belong in a college course, now do they? and if they cant read directions, then they freaking deserve to fail! then for the actual lab he does the ENTIRE thing in front of us. the lab session starts at 730pm. the students don't actually get to start working on their lab till 9 FREAKING O'CLOCK. by that time, I'm already tired as hell. and he expects us to be working with dangerous acids that could cause blindness, irritation, death while we're tired? ohya, reeeaaall smart. most of the people in my class come straight from a full time job: that's why they took a night class to begin with! then, having to sit through him droning on and on about stuff we ALREADY KNOW? man, its TORTURE! everyone can normally finish the lab in an hour or so, but the session doesn't end until 10:15 (wayyyy past my bedtime) so he insists on keeping us in that FREEZING classroom, rambling on. It's not even interesting rambles like some people have. he's talking about stoichiometry, then all of a sudden, goes off on a tangent, somehow relating stoichiometry to motorcycles. WHAT???? every other sane lab instructor just gives the kids their lab sheet, and sends them off to work. if we have questions, WE CAN ASK THEM. and it's not even like, by demonstrating the lab, he answers all, or any, of the questions. By the time i get home, im starving, so by the time i actually get into bed, it's usually around midnight. and i have swim practice bright and early in the morning. ERGH.
thankfully, its only one night a week. *worst freaking night of the week*

now I have nothing against chem or chem labs in general (my teacher for my lecture is really interesting, I actually like the lecture) JUST THAT MAN IS AN IDIOT!!! argh!
