I DID SOME MORE SHOPPING!~
Specifically that little earl Ciel.

I ordered his gold ring, except the receipt for the order seems a little iffy so hopefully the order goes through. Good thing is it only costed $2.30.

I also ordered an eye patch and some lovely black knee high socks that I hope fit.

And I ordered sapphire blue contacts which again I HOPE show up on my dreadfully dark brown eyes. Perfect for cosplaying L, a pain in the butt when it comes to wearing colored contacts.

If all of that successfully comes in, all that's left is Ciel's outfit and boots. I need to go take some measurements soon.

I liked this shirt for myself, but I also thought it would look cute for Misaki for when it gets warmer. I just love when cosplay clothing can be used for everyday or vice versa.



I thought this shirt would make a nice causal Ritsuka shirt. And again I can wear it outside of cosplay!



I really needed just a plain pair of sneakers for cosplays like Ash, maybe a casual Ritsuka, or L when it's cold because my cons that I wear everyday are plain black high tops and would work if I didn't love the obnoxious rainbow zebra shoelaces.



While I was browsing around, I found arm warmers that I think would look better with bondage Ritsuka outfit and I also finally bought my own pair of boots that way I didn't have to steal ~simply-sardonic's every time. And I'm very excited for ~WTF-RedVira's bondage Soubi!

I have NO idea HOW but I accomplished basically writing an entire research paper the day before it was due on the most frustrating topic I have ever had to write about: "Space Colonization in the 20th century" and First Year Writing is done till Spring!

I also had my last Color class which ended up being us convincing him that one last project was too much and my professor brought us Jamaican beef patties and we got out way early!

Three classes down, three more to go!

I am officially done with CREATIVE PROCESS. That class was annoying as hell mainly because of the professor. He is probably one of those people who knows so much that they act so stupid and you doubt it. You could do a 100 variations of a project and this man would still want MORE work. He never gave constructive criticism either. He told you what he thought was "cool" or "neat" to add to the project. Which is relevant to the the whole "creative process" and taking one piece and transforming into another but I had no idea what I could improve upon. I've uploaded a few of the photography shots from this class, but I'll soon be working on uploading the other pieces I've done. Today's last class went as painfully slow as all the rest.

You all made me feel really pretty from the girly pictures I put up. After a year of my hair that long I got kind of bored and that's when I chopped it to Misaki hair length. And it is a very strange phenomenon that I am sickly pale all year except for the summer when I change race. According to ~WTF-RedVira.

I mindfucked a good number of my friends that I just made in school. They refuse to believe it's me in the pictures. The same thing happened in high school with my blond hair phase. In 8th grade I dyed my hair blond and just before high school I dyed it back to brown. So when my friends in saw my blond hair pictures they were like WTF NO WAY IS THAT YOU.

THERE IS HOPE. After my first class today I ran over to Financial Aid. They gave me a paper and told me to talk to PAM. After waiting about an hour for Pam in Student Accounts, I find out that apparently I never did my Perkins Loan and that a letter went out about it. Which is very odd because neither my parents nor I remember receiving this letter in the mail. Anyway, it took an hour basically to fill and read four pages of tiny government print and for her to explain every little detail about this loan. Pam is a very nice lady though and took away my hold! So I run to my advisor's office...NOT IN, I run to the library to e-mail him...EVERY COMPUTER IS TAKEN, and I finally ended up borrowing my friends laptop to e-mail him. I gave any course I could. So many courses were closed and I could have gotten them if I wasn't screwed over. When I got home he registered me! So I have classes and 17 credits and I can relax about it now.

Unfortunately I still have to deal with my Science and Science Fiction Seminar since it's a YEAR long. I have to say though even though I don't like the topic I'm happy that my professors put up with my dysfunctional spastic self.

I'm continuing into part two of Japanese 1. I'm super happy because I adore sensee. I was afraid I wasn't going to see her again.

The new stuff I'll be taking:

FOUNDATIONS OF PHILOSOPHY - An introductory course in philosophy, using representative selections from the major conceptual systems: idealism, rationalism, empiricism. Basic texts from Plato, Aristotle, stoics, medievals and modern philosophy of 17th-19th centuries. The student will confront definitions of reality, knowledge and morality and the analysis and critique of modes of argumentation.

I get general education credit for it. I also wanted to take Introduction to Sociology but guess what...it was closed! At least I got this one to start.

RELIGIONS OF JAPAN - Survey of Japanese religious traditions, beginning with Shinto, its indigenous religion, and including Japan's particular adaptation of the Chinese traditions of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, especially Zen. In addition, the "New Religions" of post-WWII will be considered.

AND THIS IS THE REALLY COOL ONE!

CREATURES, SPIRITS, ALIENS - Course compares Japanese and American horror and science fiction films and stories, using visual arts (anime, manga, film) and literary genres (science fiction, folk stories. Among the topics covered are evil spirits and demons, alien encounters, science fiction adventure, supernatural creatures, and ghost stories.

Both of these courses do absolutely nothing for my general education but I would rather take them and not get gen ed credit then be stuck with a really awful gen ed course and fail because nothing was left.

I checked this morning and 2D Design CLOSED. But I e-mailed the professor that teaches it and I'm waiting to see if I can be signed in. If I can I'm going to drop Religions of Japan. I really wanted at least one art course spring semester. *crosses fingers*

I actually celebrated Halloween yesterday. I went to a party with friends at school. ~WTF-RedVira was a Black Widow and I was her dead husband. We didn't take any serious pictures, but maybe I can scrounge up a few random shots. Had tons of insane amounts of fun until 3 AM.

My brother is borrowing my Ash cosplay as a costume tonight. This amuses me.

I'm totally beat now so I think I'm going to take a nap and start my analytical essay on artificial gravity that's due on Monday when I wake up.

I have some good news! I got Misaki pictures from Otakon from RedVira because her computers been broken. So that's the next project I'm going to tackle.

Hello! A few people have been interested in how *elizabethEPIDEMIC and I do our yaoi photo shoots, I decided to write a tutorial on how we do ours!

What you will need:
A Camera
A series
A Pairing
A photographer (or Tripod, they work just as well and aren’t hard to use at all!)
A cosplay partner

If you and your cosplay partner are an actual couple then you are cheating and stop reading this…. I will give you time to leave….shoo… go off and fave images in our gallerys to repent for being an actual couple…

Okay so everyone reading this now should be single or is not in a relationship with their partner!

The Cosplayers:

If you want to follow our example the perfect cosplay team consists of 2 very simple people

The pervert (hello!)
And
The asexual friend or gay man in a woman’s body (*points to Liz*)

This pairing works wonderfully because the pervert will have fun doing all the sexual things and the asexual friend doesn’t care about the sexual situations THUS making the poses not awkward!

REQUIREMENT FOR COSPLAYERS:

Read/ watch disgusting amounts of yaoi (porn works also) to get ideas and poses!
THE BEST KIND Of RESEARCH?
The nosebleed kind~

(Note on the above comment, Liz watches and reads more yaoi than I do….)


The Photographer:

The best kind of photographer is either:

A fan of the pairing you are using
OR
Someone who really doesn’t care about the pairing or the odd sexual things you are doing with each other!

Luckily we have a photographer, ~simply-sardonic ,who is a wonderful mix of both!

The Theme

Themes are always fun! Choose one you and your partner like… or whatever subject the people who will see the pictures like

Examples of themes:
Bondage (mmmmm~)
Love
Angst
Recreating a scene from the actual series
Basing off fan fictions (CREDIT THE AUTHOR!)

The Poses:

PERVERT THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL SHINE!

Asexual friend this is where you just pretend to enjoy what the pervert is doing!

Just copy things you have seen in yaoi, hentai or porn!

Or if you are epic just think up fun poses to do ~.^

The Last Note:

Learn how to stage kiss!

Unless you and your partner do not mind actually kissing, stage kissing and camera tricks are wonderful!

Your photographer should find the right angle where everything is just covering what needs to be covered to make it look like a real fun smexy time!

Pervert if you want to have some fun and make things look a little more realistic, actually do some things! Any neck kissing, biteing etc.. can be done and the reaction of the asexual friend made fun of! (trust me it is fun to mess with the asexual friend! LLAMA FACES AMIRITE!?)

I've been trying to keep up with messages! For the most part I have. I feel bad when I poof and we were having an interesting conversation or something.

IT'S TIME FOR MIDTERMS! WA DA FA, I've been in school for only about 5-6 weeks. All my slaving on art is finally paying off. All I have to do for my art midterm is hand in all the work I've done up until this point. *does happy dance* So that leaves studying for Japanese, which I think I'll be for the most part okay with. And studying for Science and Science Fiction...which is TOMORROW...which WILL NOT END WELL...*dies*

So yes, art has consumed my life as it should and I'm being kept way too busy. It's been far too long since I've been a lazy bum. BUT! I thought I'd list a few things that should be happening in the future?~

Vampire Knight Interview Part 2, Thank You, Bloopers, I'll be editing and putting uploading those to YouTube as soon as possible

There is still a last chunk of Vampire Knight photo's and also Ritsuka, Soubi, Kio photo's from Connecticon that should be uploaded very soon, delayed much.

~WTF-RedVira and I plan to do a photo-shoot for Lawli's Birthday and because you all want bondage so much we're going to try our best to er...tie up...someone.

*flails in happiness* I'm about 200 pageviews away from 20,000! I kind of thought of something I could do on my own to have ready in time. It's probably nothing special but maybe it'll entertain you? Slightly? Maybe? Only two people I think know what it is, but I is going to keep it a secret still.

I decided that I'm going to make Japanese Lessons with L, AFTER I finish Japanese 1 completely. I'll have winter break, more time, and probably better pronunciation. So I'm going to delete the first video and remake it at a later time.

I haven't done any work whatsoever cosplay wise.

I haven't forgotten that I still owe people free sketches! I'll probably work on them again when I get a break. Maybe after all the art classes, my drawing will look better. I have a band tendency of rushing pieces that aren't being graded or aren't for school so I'm going to slow down on my outside of school projects. I also have a ton of art to upload that I've done so far from this year that'll I'll work on getting up again when I have a break.

Friday ~WTF-RedVira and I couldn't make it because my class ended at 4:15 and by the time we got in cosplay and to the city it would have been pointless. Instead we went to animation club in L and Light cosplay since Death Note was one the shows we watched that night. The meeting was super fun as usual. ~simply-sardonic went Friday though.

Saturday the three of us went as Vampire Knight. It makes me sad to say that this year's NYAF wasn't all that good (for me at least). When we got there we ran into a friend from my Japanese class who isn't from the country and it was her first NYAF. We saw Uncle Yo's thing. It was funny and there was a proposal. The artist alley and dealer's room was ridiculous. I felt like I couldn't get through any of the aisle's and I was bumping into people constantly. Some aisle's I didn't even go down because they were so crowded. I saw maybe a few artist alley stands and went to the crazy yaoi booth with the guy that screams and sings crazy yaoi things. There was a buttload of Kyou Kara Maoh doushinji but every single one of them was ConradxYuuri, no Wolfie at all. That's my luck though. I did buy a voodoo doll though. The one about stress since I'm definitely stressed all the time. My friend and I bought one named Genki for our Japanese teacher since it's one of the words we learned. We waited on line for the masquerade for a little over an hour. The masquerade wasn't too bad. That Reni girl sang three songs. I'm sorry but I can't stand her. That's the THIRD time I've seen her open up a masquerade. The majority of the costumes looked AMAZING, but I kinda of got bored of every single skit being a dance or just the people moving to music. Not that I don't like those skits, but it seriously was every single one. The L making ice cream skit was hilarious. I think it was my favorite. And the Bumble Bee costume was just the most fucking epic thing I've ever seen. I can't even describe how awesome that was. Going to have to find a picture or something. Oh yeah, we forgot a camera so we have nothing to upload pictures and video wise. Midway through the day my throat started to hurt and by the time the masquerade was over I felt like absolutely shit. My throat was on fire and it hurt to talk. I probably caught whatever my brother and mom have.

Best part about Saturday was being able to see everyone! ~HappiUsagi and ~im-so-random looked amazing as Patty and Liz!! I can't wait to finish Kid now even more now. Saw :dizzasaur: for like a second, but she was a cute Tohru. Saw ~Darkkitty206 for a few as Prussia and molested her chicks. Saw :ddevgirapparatus: for few as Nana. Saw =airvee for a bit and her freaken amazing giant hammer for Lavi that was like my height. We looked for sex on a cone but it wasn't there. Saw ~Ligbi for like a second as casual Saber. Saw =Maru-Light and =anda-chan for a second as pretty epic Joker and Harley and got a Harvey Dent for district attorney sticker. Saw ~StarTwilight227 for a like a second and got a hug. Saw =OneHappyStar multiple times. She's sucha weirdooo oh my god! Naw, I'm just kidding. She's cute and bought me stickers! I felt special and she shouldn't blame me for getting her sick when she told me to cough on her. I got to stalk down ~PyromaniacInsomniac who was such a great drunken England. I want to apologize for the people I still owe free sketches for. I'm in school now and I'm taking six courses, three which are art courses and I have this really really strong feeling from experience with AP art that they are just going to consume all my energy and time. I already have to maintain three sketch books and do five drawings for an assignment. I haven't even had the third art class yet, so there may possibly be more sketchbooks. Whenever I'm off and I'm not artistically exhausted I'll try to work on them, but there's always like a month off for Christmas time too I can get back to working on them.

And also school is really exhausting and busy for me at the moment because I have to get in early and leave late, plus work on homework, bathe, eat, and I actually need to sleep this year. So I may respond slower than I usually do. I'm trying to not get too backed up with responding to people because I really do enjoy talking to everyone! So if I kind of poof, it's probably because I'm passed out on a textbook.

I'm sad to say Ciel cosplay is being pushed back a little. My wig came in, but I still haven't ordered anything else. My parents aren't so thrilled about funding me anymore for that kind of stuff. I want to eventually get a job on campus, but until I get my license I'm not going to do it. I have money saved up for Ciel, so I don't think he'll be delayed too long. Just not in time for New York Anime Festival.

Speaking of NYAF. Friday looks like a definite no. I can't afford to miss my class especially this art one because she made this huge deal about how it's an experiential class and we can't make up what we miss at home. I get only 4 absences for the semester. And I'm worried about how I also get sick for a week. *knock on wood* That would knock out two of my absences since I have it twice a week. I don't think it's worth it. What do you guys think?

Okay now I must go read a ton of science fiction short stories I'm not all that excited about. Nothing personal, it's just something I don't think I can ever wrap my head around or become interested in. I started to read the first story and I'm already confused. Is Star Wars sci fi? I can like watch Star Wars and enjoy it but not get INTO it. So if any sci fi people want to help me this year...PLEASE!

2. Do you sleep at conventions?
The majority of the cons I've gone too have I've stayed at hotels and we stay up till like 2 AM. During NYCC I literally was half asleep/falling asleep because I was sick the week before and still sick that weekend and on like codeine. That stuff put me into a like coma.

3. Do you eat?
I try to eat because if I don't eat I will legitimately pass out. I'm convinced it's low blood sugar or something. It's become a joke for GC member to carry juice boxes for me.

4. Are you shameless at conventions?
I don't think so.

5. On average, how much money do you spend?
I try to spend as little money as possible. I'm not a big shopper at cons because I go mostly for cosplaying and the people. I sometimes go on artist alley splurges because you can buy so much stuff for like nothing. And food and drinks. That's a must.

6. Do you go to conventions to pick up people?
No.

7. Do you go to conventions to bang people?
Not at all.

8. How much cellulite do you see when you go to conventions?
I'm not even paying attention to that. More power to those people for being comfortable in their skin!

9. Do you cosplay?
Of course~

10. Does your cosplay show a lot of skin?
So far, not really. The worse is my bondage Ritsuka outfit with the booty shorts, but even though they are ridiculously small they're not up my ass.

11. Is your cosplay the epitome of badassery?
I'm not sure if anything is badass. So far I've gotten positive comments and compliments on my costumes so I must be doing good?

12. Do you wait in line for things...ie; hentai fest, yaoi fest, autographs, ceremonies?
If it's necessary. Usually masquerade.

I go with ~WTF-RedVira, ~simply-sardonic, and *semperlumen and we usually meet up with ~HappiUsagi and/or ~im-so-random if they're able to make it too.

The four of us usually fit quite comfortably in a 2 bed room.

Can't say I have.

Wednesday I had Creative Process. My teacher for that is very special. O_O

And Thursday I had Color. It focuses more on color studies and things like that than actually drawing.

Friday I went to the first Animation Club meeting. It's American and Japanese cartoons, but I think mostly Japanese. Me and ~WTF-RedVira got their a few minutes late since I was buying a million art supplies. We walked in on the middle of Azumanga Daioh DUBBED. My heart like sank. I seriously have no patience for dubs at all anymore. It's REALLY rare that I'll like one. The only one I can think of now is Inuyasha only because I watched it when I was like 13 and it was like the first anime I watched that I knew was anime (I used to LOVE Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and Hamtaro back when I was itty.) So I haven't watched a dub for that long a period of time in FORVER. Me and RedVira were close to leaving if the rest was in dubs. But it seems that it's like a vote thing or the person who is showing gets to pick type of thing. So the next thing we watched was Hayate Combat Butler (SUBBED!) which was hilarious and I want to continue watching when I get the time too. Then the last thing we watched was OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB! (THANK GOD SUBBED, I would have cried if not) It was sad that I remembered lines and actions from the first ep. But that's basically what triggered the whole Kaoru and Hikaru vs Hunny and Mori cosplay question.

Fall asleep and have "dreams" where they are talking, IMing, texting, (etc.) someone and then wake up and think the conversation ACTUALLY happened and then realize like twenty minutes later it didn't?

I think I've done that waaay too many times. I don't think it's been so bad where I brought up the conversation in dream land to the person and confused the hell out of them. Unless I have. Then I apologize to those people.

IN OTHER NEWS! I made an OC? This is strange and new! I don't think I've ever made up a character before. He's kinda half assed made so far actually. All I know is his hair, his name, and that he's ~WTF-RedVira's OC uke. LAWL. (I bet ya didn't see that one coming, now did ya!) After I finish those 10 free sketches I want to do some drawings of them.

So I remember reading/seeing somewhere someone saying Disney was going to take over Death Note and Zac Efron would be Light and Joe Jonas would be L (JUST WANNA PUT IT OUT THERE...I doubt it would seriously happen and I saw it on one of those "rumor" things) and being the good friend I am once I found out ~WTF-RedVira was watching 17 Again, I started to send her pictures of Zac going LIGHT YAGAMI. And when I found this one it just made me laugh way harder than I should of. I seriously need a life. And the fact that the picture was already put together like that just makes me gigglesnort. (I personally think the real L and Light are much more attractive cause I lubba them anime boys~...except for Light's freaky faces. Not so much. )

As you may or may not know, Ciel won't be able to make it to NYAF.

My wig is in! It needs trimming though. The bangs are so long. It may look a little too blue in the picture I took, but I took it in my horribly lit room with my laptop camera thing. The wig itself has a lot of different colors of blue, purple, gray mixed in it. ~Leekaara actually has the same wig! Cause we're so awesome and ended up ordering the same wig without knowing.

PROGRESS...sort of.

My wig is in for starters. It took twice as long to arrive because I originally ordered "natural black" but it was sold out so I was able to change it to "dark black", not like there's much of a difference, but it had to be reprocessed and all that fun stuff. It's in my possession now though! I'm waiting to get my hands on a styrofoam head so I can style and then paint the strips. Once I get the head it shouldn't take that long.

My skull tie KEEPS ON BREAKING DAMMIT. It's this little tip. I recently painted it, but the paint made it stick the cardboard I painted it on and then the little tip broke off. It can easily be fixed with glue. So that just needs a touch up and it will be done.

As for the skulls on the suspenders, I decided to leave them as they came. Unless I do non-jacket Kiddo in suspenders pictures, no one is going to see them and even if they do I think it's okay that they're flat.

I'm resorting to the glue gun for the jacket. The material I bought to make the white parts of the jacket is a heavy pleather like material (fancy Kiddo there) and the seamless fabric things I got from my mom and grandma didn't work like I thought they did. I don't want a stitch to be seen because I don't think I can sew it myself without making it crooked or something. Kiddo must be as symmetrical as possible! So I'm going to be gluing!

Guns are still on hold, I may try to sculpt my own eventually and be crafty~ But in the meantime I'm going to show off my amazing (although not symmetrical) Liz (~im-so-random) and Patti (~HappiUsagi)! I'm sad I couldn't be their Kid at NYAF. They looked amazing! And also check out the Liz and Patti dance: [link]

This past Sunday I threw a pasta party with the whole gang. ~WTF-RedVira, ~simply-sardonic, *semperlumen, ~HappiUsagi, ~im-so-random and ~tastesofvanity and ~feelgoodinc16 also joined us!

We went swimming all day and had lots of Axis vs Allied Powers battles in the pool. We literally devoured the pasta (provided by my family since they make it for a living). I think my mom said we ate like 107 ravioli's and 2lbs of rigatoni. Well according to my dad it was wannabe rigatoni. I don't know if that's a lot of pasta? But it was all gone. And flying saucers from Carvel! Those were devoured too. Then me, ~WTF-RedVira and ~im-so-random went back into the pool when it was super dark because we are cool like that. Those other two thought it was a seme bonding moment, pshaw. I also successfully sat on a raft as L. ~feelgoodinc16 and ~tastesofvanity couldn't sleepover, so the rest of us had a Loveless pajama party. Which was like wigs and jammies we could do on such short notice. Ritsuka and Yuiko had intense DDR battles. Oh dear god, I am so out of shape. I haven't played DDR for two years and now my legs are like immobile. Played some N64 games too. And finished it off with MOULIN ROUGE. Collectively I think we can quote and sing that entire movie. I crashed some point after the movie and apparently was twitching in my sleep according to ~WTF-RedVira. No idea why. *semperlumen bought me Manga Studio Debut 4 for my birthday since she can't be around for it. It looks awesome, but I haven't the slightest clue how to use it.

So I was sort of tagged by for that post 8 facts about yourself and I think tag 8 people.

This is going to be whatever pops into my head first.

1. I am ALWAYS cleaning. I'll either be cleaning something like my room or cleaning files on my laptop. It's become a weird obsession that I'm not even conscious of. Well I'm aware, but it wasn't until ~WTF-RedVira pointed it out to me recently.

2. I am seriously convinced that inside my female body is a gay man. I kind of want to give him a name.

3. I was the first girl born after five boys (on my mom's side of the family, we're closer to them) so I used to be somewhat of a tomboy and got beat up all the time. Then my brother was born, another girl, and another boy. So the seven boys on that side of the family manage to always drive me crazy but they haven't beaten me up for awhile.

4. I have a REALLY bad obsession with L and yaoi and yaoi containing L. It probably didn't help that I watched Death Note, right after my yaoi kick when I first discovered boy love anime.

5. I don't read enough. This is probably why my vocabulary isn't that great. If it's not a required book for school, the most I read is manga, fan fictions, and doushinji, etc.

6. I have woken up one morning with crazy ass hair from a ton of my hair products being in it, eyeliner all around my eyes from being to lazy to take it off the night before, walked into the bathroom half asleep, looked in the mirror and FREAKED out thinking L was in my bathroom for a good few seconds.

7. My body cracks constantly. I just stand up, walk, sit down, move a little and some bone or something cracks. I have no idea why.

8. I'm also convinced I have OCD of some sort. Anything like colored pencils, markers have to be in rainbow order, all my shirts have to be folded the same way and there can't be like the same color in a row like two blue shirts on top of each other, my closet is also in rainbow order and each color is broken down by article of clothing, every song on iTunes needs to have only aritst, song title, album title and artwork, I put things in size order, color order, abc order, but I never make my bed. Or maybe I'm just very organized?

VERY VERY VERY into yaoi.

About a little over a year. First yaoi pairing/series was Soubi and Ritsuka from Loveless.

I have "yaoi withdrawals" and have threatened ~WTF-RedVira for saying she'd go to a yaoi panel without since she's a few months older.

Descendants of Darkness, Junjou Romantica, Kyou Kara Maoh, Loveless, and Sukisho.

~WTF-RedVira's computer is giving her trouble with memory so she's been unable to edit anything until it's fixed. I got this from the Q&A on cosplay.com. I have an account, but I rarely use it.

Cosplay Alias
I guess Liz or Lizzie. A lot of people refer to me as L though.

Cosplaying Since? When did you begin cosplaying?
Back in 2005 when I was a noob and knew nothing about cosplaying I had attempted to do a "casual Sango" from Inuyasha with this sweater that looks exactly like Sango's kimono and green pants. I bought a wig at a costume store not knowing there are better quality wigs. Anyway, that never went through. Then in 2007 I went to my first anime convention (New York Anime Festival) and I bought a Host Club uniform last minute and really wanted to go as Haruhi, but didn't get a wig in time. (Still a noob, but making progress.) By NYAF 2008 me and ~WTF-RedVira started ~GenericCliche and went as L and Light, but have greatly improved since then.

What got you into cosplay?
Not really a what, more of a who cough~WTF-RedViracough. She got me into manga and anime too.

What was your first costume and why?
I'm gonna answer with first COMPLETE costume. L from Death Note, because I literally snapped at a picnic the anime club at my high school has at the end of the year and became L. So after that me and ~WTF-RedVira I guess decided to Death Note cosplay since it was fairly simple. LIES. Not as simple as it seems.

What is your favorite costume and why?
L from Death Note. I just absolutely adore L so much.

Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have so many and not enough time or money, but slowly working through the list.

Most Memorable Experience. So far, what has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
It's so hard just to choose one! There's really been to many, I can't pick one.

Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet, but I really want to and plan on being in one as soon as possible.

If so, what's your best masq. experience?
So far, the audience.

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, I never participate since I buy my costumes since I don't know how to sew or having a sewing machine and I don't have the time or patience to learn at the moment. Hopefully one day though I can start teaching myself or take a class and buy a sewing machine.
