I remember lisening to this on the bus going to to and from school, in grade 10. I've always wanted to hear a recording of it every since but for now the lyrics will have to do.
This song just reminded me of this other song; it was all about suicide about how great it would be if you didn't have to live anymore, the song wasn't song, but lyrics just said instead. It started off by saying something like if it was so easy to committeee then we would have cats and dogs trying the same. The artists mentions how we would never have to stand in long line ups at the grocery store when we only had one item.....
If anyone knows the lyrics of that please pass them along, I love that song. My friend pointed out that there was more negative things mentioned in the song about suicide then positive (I thought it was the opposite). I don't know the song name nor the artists'.

I was originally not planning on updating my journal because I figured not many read it, but then my best-friend pointed out that he often finds stuff out about me, that he would otherwise not know if it wasn't for my dA Journal. You find everything on the Internet!
eBay has really done . They have decided to ditch the eBay Anything Points Program, including the eBay Anything Points Mastercard, which I just happen to be a card holder to; it is my favourite online store and my favorite card---it's a conversation piece.
So I have to the end of May to collect points and then I'm screwed.
There rational: This decision was made after receiving input from Canadian members and evaluating the benefit to the Community. We believe this decision will allow us to devote our energy to making eBay Canada an even greater marketplace for our buyers and sellers. As you may know, this program has already been discontinued in the U.S. (from there site: [link])
One of Canada's best comedians, Rick Mercer has put up an interesting joke bid on eBay, called the Rick Mercer Report Liberal Leadership Kit it has about 3 days left, current bid: C $16,000,000.00. Right now I am working at Cascade Aerospace (in Abby) full time and starting this Monday I will be officially in a contract position with Marshall Aerospace (Canada) Inc. Marshall is just setting up there new Canadian office, they are originally all from Manchester, UK (other then myself there is only one other non-British employee). I work on there digital aerospace technical library; there is defiantly plenty of work for me there, I just received 85.5 gigabytes of data that must all be entered.

For those wondering:
I am now done the library program at UCFV and am job hunting; jobs that I have applied for are anywhere from Victoria, Vancouver and Fraser Valley (Abby/Mission).
Yes I'm still vegan and I have now given up eating honey for about two weeks now, but not sure what to do about lipgloss or wax paper (both contain bee by-products) as I use them often.
Not to long ago I managed to get lost (should have read the directions, and Pinky (my car) got stuck in mud while trying to back out of a dead end. A few days before that I made cookies and it said to lay the cookie sheet with "parchment paper"; whatever that is. The box on the wax paper said "great for baking and cooking purposes"; well it didn't work and the cookies got stuck to the wax paper (next time I will just use oil spray).

I'm sure that there are many people out there that think vegans are beyond insane in how they live their life each and everyday (and to think it is a choice for them, again vegans could probably say the same to the omnivores). Well I may be a bit odd, but I'm not the one behind this new idea of a "vegan only island".
Oh yes I heard about this today on the Grist List that was e-mailed to me and in their own words: "Goodbye, gruel world
A visionary pack of vegans plans to buy an island paradise where they can escape this mixed-up world. Among their requirements: low taxes, no zoning restrictions, and plenty of freedom to ask fellow beachgoers, "Is that a cucumber in your Speedo?" Supposable it's not a scam and so far very, very interested members all together have put $2 million toward the project that probably won't be finalized until 2009.
It sounds a bit like a cult to me; abandoning your meat-eating family, friends and world to go on a island that has strong beliefs towards lifestyle choices. As well all members must be able to provide at least $50,000 USD. Must be vegan, raw vegan or possibly a lacto-ovo vegetarian can all join this wild idea. I just hope they call it: "Tofu Island". I have not plans of joining, but it would be a cool place to visit.

i leaned about an awesome custom idea, a dead girl-guide (a dream come true for Wednesday on Addam's Family).

gas prices are down! (93 point something in Abby).

There are a lot of movies called The Suicide Club, but only one is called Suicide Club aka Suicide Circle; The Cascade recently did a review of it (a Japaneses foreign) and I MUST SEE IT!

Microsoft Free

My laptop has finally arrived; as it was out of stock--they had to make it in Taiwan first before I could get it. I could have not waited at all for a laptop and just got a Microsoft one at the local Futureshop. But instead I waited about 4 or 6 weeks for it to arrive and got it at an CND Indy store. It's the Linspire 5.0 operating system...translated to it is Linux and more specifically it's based on the Debian Linux...so basically it's the easiest desktop/laptop linux to learn. I didn't want a laptop that had Microsoft written all over it...anyway the only thing I use that is Microsoft on my home computer is the operating system...everything else is open source.
And also there's the fact that I just don't like MSN; though one thing I do like about MSN was how it is such a bad example that I had to go elsewhere to get a laptop. It's an early birthday present and a great tool for class in the fall (since my writting is soon "neat" and plus I'm saving trees!). Anyway, who wants to use a computer whose name (Microsoft) sounds like a bad description of a guy's dick?

Google has really outdone themselves. While stumbling the other day via Moz FF I came across another product in beta: "Droogle". A search engine of how to make alcoholic drinks. It seems everything can now be a search engine; your traditional search engine, but as well: book excerts, shopping, enviro, yoga, horror genre, the list goes on and on. See: [link]
In other Google news: recently read on a blog that Google and Microsoft have been using censorship techniques within China, just to make a profit. I'm sure some would say that this is a great reason to boycott them (there seems to be enough corporations on my list if you ask me). They're a great company, and their products show, but really where do you draw the line?

3 more weeks: the count-down

Only three more weeks of class; 3 more weeks of Library of Congress Classification, of library tours and of advanced 'net retrival! I get like a week off of class (or so), then practicum and then 2 online classes; until the end of July...so much stress so little time!
Going to Vancouver tomorrow for library tours...note to self: do not get lost. And if all else fails make a signature U-turn!
Update: Didn't get lost in Vancouver at all, had horrible traffic on the way there. On the way back I did great passing everyone in the HOV lane...until it was bumper-to-bumper thanks to an accident involving at least three cars.
Had a horrible time parelle parking in Vancouver just to get Starbucks coffee....took at least five minutes, stalled Pinky three times and wasn't able to get in close to the curb until the person above me left, and it was on a hill to make matters worst!

Hi everyone,

Only 5 more weeks of class until final tests break! I will then start my practicum about two weeks later (two, two week practicums). I will be going on a road trip with my class of fifteen people for library tours (5 of them in Victoria (on Van Island). Will also be able to go to the Spaghetti Factory!
I'm gonna be taking one online class during the new UCFV summer session (ending at the end of July...12 weeks long).
Saw a smart car the other day..waved to it. And remember always flip the bird to any Hummer you see; they are a major bitch to the envirnoment! For more info see: [link].

Some other great news; found on Marilyn Manson's official website: "FUSE's "F-List" debuted today, counting down the top 20 biggest badasses in music. Marilyn Manson came in at #1 on the list. Great news-- in the non-readers's digest format:
As some of you may be aware of I'm an executive member on the Enviro club at UCFV. Our club has organized a environmental sumit for the month of Febuary. As part of the summit was a presentation on The One Tonne Challenge (OTC). The presentation was very informative and well enjoyed. Afterwords, during the discussion I asked about the Smart Car's fuel efficiency; which I found it extremly well. The average car produces about 6 tonnes of green house gas emissions per year...the Smart does about 1.5 or so.

After the discussion I was hanging around and socailizing and just about when I was thinking of heading out I hear something like the following from Leif (Enviro president): "Genny would like to test drive the Smart Car". The owner of the car approaches me and hands me the keys...I was so happy and exicited at that moment that I just frooze for a second before I took the keys. It was like Christmas in the middle of Febuary!

Hi all,

I have a question for all those university and college students out there...do you have spring break? At ucfv we don't, instead we get a two day reading break (or what I like to call suicide break) in Febuary right before the midterms. Would be nice if I had a spring break, my cousin, Al invited me to visit him in New York City and my friend that I havn't seen in years has invited me to go to Mexico with her, but again I can't go because class is in session!

eBay now offers a new way to bid. You tell eBay your maximum you are wiling to paying for an item and then they take care of the bidding for you! Also am happy about my group finally finishing our term project, and handing it in early.

Have you heard what Google will be doing in the future? When you do a search it will not only bring up links to websites but also related book excerts! They gave demos of this new technology at the Frankfurt Book Fair on October 7th. What is the best news you have heard all week?

How many people out their love their bookmarks on IE or any other Internet Browser? I sure do.
But right now I would like to bash in Firefox 1.0PR I don't know why but all my fucking bookmarks are gone...just disappeared. They were all here yesturday but today they are TOTALLY GONE! It's not like a had a few book marks...I probably had about a hundred or so...and I number were highly used or had keyterms added to them for faster retrival. Anyone ever had this problem before? Is it a virus, FireFox, or all in my head?

There were two nuns...
One of them was known as Sister Mathematical (SM),
and the other one was known as Sister Logical (SL).

It is getting dark and they are still far away from the convent.

SM: Have you noticed that a man has been following us for the past thirty-eight and a half minutes? I wonder what he wants.

SL: It's logical. He wants to rape us.

SM: Oh, no! At this rate he will reach us in 15 minutes at the most? What can we do?

SL: The only logical thing to do of course is to walk faster.

SM: It's not working.

SL: Of course it's not working. The man did the only logical thing. He started to walk faster, too.

SM: So, what shall we do? At this rate he will reach us in one minute.
SL: The only logical thing we can do is split. You go that way and I'll go this way. He cannot follow us both.

So the man decided to follow Sister Logical.

Sister Mathematical arrives at the convent and is worried
about what has happened to Sister Logical.

Then Sister Logical arrives.

SM: Sister Logical! Thank God you are here! Tell me what happened!

SL: The only logical thing happened. The man couldn't follow us both, so he followed me

SM: Yes, yes! But what happened then?
SL: The only logical thing happened. I started to run as fast as I could and he started to run as fast as he could.

SM: And?

SL: The only logical thing happened. He reached me.

SM: Oh, dear! What did you do?

SL: The only logical thing to do. I lifted my dress up.
SM: Oh, Sister! What did the man do?
SL: The only logical thing to do. He pulled down his pants.

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is Politics?" Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the head of the family, so call me The President. Your mother is the administrator of the money, so we call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the People. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now think about that and see if it makes sense."

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parent's room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now." he father says, "Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about," The little boy replies, "The President is screwing the Working Class while the Government is sound asleep. The People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."
