I'm issuing a mighty thank you to everyone who helped changing this day from its originally shite outlook. I could not have expected a more pleasant surprise, and I can't express how grateful I am for your support. I just hope I can go on pleasing you for a long time.

The Umbrella Letters is my second Daily Deviation.
The first one is called Tuesday Afternoon and might tickle your eyes equally.

I sincerely want to thank all of you for favouriting and commenting and all of those other things. I tried to do this manually, but since there are about eight hundred of you, DeviantART have taken the policy that "thank you" repeated that many times is (lovely, wonderful) spam.

So for those of you who haven't received thanks, at least you know why. I can also tell you that I probably suffer more from this than you because I am obsessive compulsive with these things.

And for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, here it is.

Anyone else reacted to that people under 18 don't have the authority to view mature content deviations anymore?

For my own part, I think censorship should be censored. I joined an art site, and I think I should have the right to view the contents of it. If I did not want to see anything marked mature content, I would have disabled that by ticking the little box.

I turn 18 in ten days, and there's really no element of art that can shock me anymore. I can handle it. It's a choice I'm responsible for. A little filth never harmed anyone. Besides, pornography isn't even allowed on this site.

And even if it were, age of consent is 16, isn't it? It doesn't really make sense to me that from being allowed to have sex, you'll have to wait two years to watch artistic nude pictures on the internet. Like if we couldn't get hold of it if we wanted to.

I think censorship is disrespectful, false and unfair. Not just to me, but to the artist. Yes, there should be an element of choice for those who do not want to see, but I've got a say in this as well. I don't see nudity as something necessarily sexual, and I want my rights back.

They're my eyes, I'll turn them wherever I like.
