The Enchanted Gardens are going to make a comeback!

There'll be a lot of changes going on, starting with a total re-vamp and new leadership. This doesn't mean that ~kumomeru isn't going to help run the Gardens anymore. It just means that she'll more than likely help through me.

To start off, I'd like to know who is going to stay and help bring the Gardens back to life with me, and who'd prefer to leave. [And if any one could help me run the club, all help would be appreciated~.] Send a note accepting or denying your existence in the club. Be honest, if you can't be active, tell me. This goes for anyone who wants to help moderate with me. If I don't receive a note from you, I'm going to assume that you're leaving. That is final.

As for renovations, we've got a lot on our plates. This needs to be a conjoined effort between all remaining members.

~The home page needs a facelift. I'll work on a subscription, but it may take time. [I'm broke.] We need a new ID, no offense to ~kumomeru's original ID. If I haven't taken care of it, I may comission a friend to make one.

~We need a story. I don't think we'll be able to thrive without a plot. I'm open to suggestions, so please tell me what you think!

~The Gardens need looks too. Concept art and [possibly] maps would be nice. If anyone wants to take this responsibilty off my hands, I would be eternally greatful.

~Events. We need them. Until we have a storyline, they don't need to be very specific.

~We have a chatroom that no one seems to use. Hopefully that'll change along with some of our renovations.

~Please, PLEASE tell me how I can make things more interesting outside of the dA club! A EG Twitter, facebook group, or TegakiE tag? I don't know... Help me out~!

I know everyone is busy with work or homework, because I know I am too, but please be as active as possible! I didn't attempt to raise this club from the grave just so it can fall flat once more!

I wanted to kick things off with an event. But it may be too early. We'll wait and see how things work out.

One more thing! I'm sincerely sorry to anyone who participated in the Secret Santa before the club died. There was a lot of complications, and if you still have the gifts, that's wonderful. We won't make a big fuss out that any longer. Go ahead and do what you please with them~.

All you have to do is draw a full or 3/4 body of your fae dressed up for halloween. You can draw them dressed as whatever you want, doing whatever you want. As long as we can see the costume clearly, and we are able to tell what they are. You can even include other faes as well. Make sure you send a note titled "contest" with a link to your picture, and we'll add it.

Hello dearies~

The club might be a little slow for a while, especially this month, with the back to school stuff and everything. We are trying to update it as often as we possibly can, so don't worry.

Also, we are currently planning on a contest soon, to give you guys something to look forward to. We haven't really thought of the theme, but I guarantee you it will be fun. It will take place sometime this month, maybe around the 15th or so.

I was also browsing through the tasks the other day, and I thought the number of tasks was too small. I am currently trying to think of some, but if you want to suggest something, I'm totally open to that.

One more thing I'd like to discuss. The chatroom is being very slow again. I'd like it if some of you could hang out in there, to give us something to do, since most of us don't like talking to ourselves...so drop by whenever you can~

Ok, me and ~BrokenRaine were talking, and we decided to have a party in the chatroom.

It will take place on Saturday August 9th, from 7 to 9 pm Pacific time zone.

We'd like to have as many members attend, since some of you have yet to meet some people.Right now we are a small club, and it would be nice if you at least met some of your fellow fayes. There might be prizes, but we're not sure yet. Either way, it'll be tons of fun and a great opportunity for you to roleplay in our wonderful chatroom.

I am VERY disappointed. Out of all of the members in this club(which isn't much to begin with)only 6 of us showed up. That is sad. When applying, you must also tell us what kind of magic your faye is able to use. For example, if you are applying to join the East gardens (elemental) you have to tell us what kind of magic your faye uses. Like, air or fire. If you are joining the south, what kind of battle magic? can your faye make defense barriers, can they poison people? Can they drain your power? That kind of stuff.

As for current members, I will need to know your magic skills as well. So please send a note to the club and title it with your character's name. In the note, please include what garden they are in and their magic skill.

More than one person may claim the same type of magic. Yes, we can have more than one faye using fire magic. It's alright to do that, especially in the east gardens, since I will only the four basic elements (air, water, fire, earth) are allowed. You can, however, deviate from that. If you would like to use earth magic, but want to be original, you could use sand or rock.

All right my lovelies, I hope you understand now. Please follow the new rules accordingly!

Users of elemental magic such as water, fire, earth, air, etc. It is reccomended that you don't deviate too far from the four basic ones. You can only use one element, but it has to be basic. I don't want gravity or time or something. The climate here adjusts to each plant to fit its needs.

Ok, this is my first club, so please be merciful. Hello, I am ~kumomeru, but you can call me Haile. I am the head fairy in this club. I did come up with this idea, but I couldn't have done it without ~BrokenRaine, for letting me use one of her e-mails, ~iGIR for being my sister and helping me come up with the rules, and ~Dao-Chan, for helping me come up with a name for this wonderful club! Rules
You have to read these rules before joining. We will make sure you have read them.

1. You must be polite to everyone.
2. post our icon in your journals or signatures.(:icon enchanted-gardens: without the spaces)
3. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY.
4. Please don't comment or favorite the art here, but on the original artist's page. We don't take credit for all the art.
5. You must show some effort when you draw your submission. This means at least spending a good deal of time on anatomy and shading. No lineart, DEFINITELY no stick figures.
6. Keep everything PG-13 please.
7.To send art to the club, simply note us with the art title and a link to the art.
8. In order to avoid conflict, we ask that your character has no relation to any other anime or series whatsoever. Your fairy cannot be Sasuke's girlfriend or something like that.

a) Your fae must be ORIGINAL. No tinkerbell look-alikes please.
b) All faes need a flower or plant.
i. If the flower you want is taken, find a new one.
ii. You may not claim different species of one type of flower (for example, you may not claim "white rose" if someone has already claimed "rose" they have claimed rose in general.)
c) You have to submit a character sheet with your submission, or else we won't add you.
d) Make sure you check the list to see which flowers are already taken.
e) your character sheet must have a full-body, a headshot, and your flower.
f)your character sheet must have a SOLID BACKGROUND.
g)The flower you choose must be HAND DRAWN. You may NOT copy and paste something. you must draw it out.
h)You have to specify which garden you would like to join.
i)Please tell us what kind of magic your faye can use according to the garden you wish to apply to.

How to Submit Art
If you wish to submit art of your character, there are a few rules to keep in mind.

1.It must be fully colored. If it is not, it will end up in the scraps and not in the main gallery.
2.Note the club with the title "Art-*name of deviation*" and we will gladly add it to the gallery.
3.All the art must be of or related to the club in some way. You can draw other characters in the club, what you think the garden looks like, whatever.
4.Do not submit tasks as art. If you wish to submit a task, make sure it has a proper heading, like "Task 2 for North gardens" or something like that. Please be specific, it makes our lives easier.

How to Join

1.Note the club with the title "Join". please don't put your entry on a comment, we will just end up ignoring it.
2You must submit a character sheet with your entry. The character sheet must have the components mentioned above.
3.On your note, you must include:

•NAME
•GARDEN
•FLOWER
•MAGIC SKILL
•Description of your character(please, make it short and sweet, we don't want to read entire novels of them)
•link to your character sheet

4.Wait until we reply with a "yes" or a "no" If you get rejected, that's ok. Keep trying!
