I'm still alive!!!

A recap of my last semester in college:

I managed to finish my thesis, get a grade of 1.0 for it, snag the Best Thesis award AND graduate!

It is really too much for me to handle, at the time XD Happiness! Haha!

So now I am a fresh graduate who is now part of the millions of people in our country who are unemployed!

But I'm off to jobhunt on Monday. Hopefully. If my inherent laziness does not kick in. *cough* I need a job, and fast, so my mom will stop dropping disparaging remarks about my unemployment.

4. I always chase out cats who happen to be in our garden or in our terrace. That is because all the cats here in Pacita seem to think our residence is some sort of cat motel. They love to procreate on our roof.
5. I freak out when someone miss calls my cellphone IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. You know, those people who miss call because, wala lang? Geez, just TEXT, why don't you.

Just updating my journal to let everyone know that yes--I am still alive. Just about, though. No new drawings whatsoever. My creative juices, aside from being abused in my thesis, are channeled mostly towards making livejournal icons and some haphazardly written fanfiction.

I've been VERY busy with, as I mentioned, my thesis. (Me and my thesis partner's thesis, that is.) It's a 15-minute film about a kooky maid who runs away from the house she's serving...basically.

Anyway, during the day of our shoot, I woke up with a fever, which went on and off during the whole shoot. I'm just unlucky that way >__> We still have quite a few scenes to shoot, and I vow that I WILL NEVER GET SICK AGAIN. *coughs discreetly*

So despite doing my thesis and the fact that I'm overload on units this semester, and the fact that I still haven't quite recovered, and the fact that PGMA just declared our country to be under a state of national emergency today, my life is just peachy.

I SHALL GRADUATE THIS SEMESTER EVEN IF IT KILLS MEEEEEEH!!!

Ayaw mo maniwala? Pwes, humayo ka't manood ng Piling Obrang Vidyo (POV) sa ika-2 ng Disyembre 2005, sa UP Cine Adarna [formerly UP Film Center]. Ang POV ay isang inter-school video competition na hatid sa inyo ng UP CINEMA, ang pinakabagong film org sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas sa Diliman.

Free admission sa mga oras na 1:00-2:30pm dahil ito ang Cinemasters' Focus. Mapapanood dito ang mga pelikula ng mga mismong miyembro ng UP CINEMA. Siyempre magpapakitang gilas din kami ano?

At basta ginawa ito within June 2003 to October 2004, pasok yan. Mapa-individual o group, thesis o org production man yan, walang problema. Walang theme na dapat sundin, pero may dalawang categories: NARRATIVE at ANIMATION. Kaya dapat pasok dito ang film mo. Hindi dapat lalagpas ng 15 minutes ha (pero wala namang minimum length). Siyempre, kakalimutan mo ba ang kopya ng iyong pelikula na pwedeng ilagay sa VHS-NTSC, mini-DV o DVD. Lagyan ito ng label-- -TITLE, FILMMAKER/S NAME/S, CATEGORY, and TOTAL RUNNING TIME.

Ilagay ang lahat ng mga nabanggit sa isang brown envelope. Para anti-nakaw, i-seal ng todo at lagyan ng isa pang label sa labas. Ganun uli ---TITLE, FILMMAKER/S NAME/S, CATEGORY, TOTAL RUNNING TIME. Ipasa ito sa sinumang miyembro ng UP CINEMA [or sa film/comm arts org ng school niyo na PARTNER ORG ng UP Cinema] on or before NOV 19, 2004. Magdasal sa lahat ng santo para swertihin.

Magkakaroon ng public screening ang lahat ng mga entries -- to be announced ang venue, date, time at place.

Just abusing the 2x exp/drop this weekend SARAP MAGLARO YEBA!!! Thanks muchly to este pala for helping my archer Murasaki Tenshi to level up and giving her lotsa items [kulang paaaaaaaa! GIB MEH MOOOORE! ] And I'm just happy because my acolyte DaoineSidhe in Sarah finally, FINALLY became lvl 43 Ambagal ampucha! But thanks to the 2x...hehehe! Just wanted to say that I'm going to disappear from devart [and the internet in general, except to register online sa CRS for next sem hehe] for the next week or so...schoolwork is piling up and I'm seriously getting buried underneath. POTAH BIGLA NA LANG NAGSILITAWAN! AYOKO NA!!!! The problems just keep piling up...ano ba yan! Gumagawa naman ako di naman ako static dito...I can't STAND this!!! HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT. I wanna sembreaaaaaaaaak!

last wednesday: fell asleep on the MRT. was supposed to get off at Quezon Ave [shemps, sa UP kasi da vah] but when i woke up, OHMYGAWD nasa North Ave na ung tren. dapat bababa na ko [inaantok pa rin ako nun] tapos sumarado na ung door. thankfully un din ung tren na babalik southbound. soooooo it arrived sa Q Ave, and what do you know? DAMI TAO! pumapasok agad paksyet. and guess what? nasaraduhan ulit ako ng door. but the fun thing was, i finally got to use that 'signal to driver' button thingy! [and yes, nakababa ako. but was super late for my exam. ]

this wednesday: fell asleep on the bus naman. mula samin un hanggang Fairview, so ang bayad ko hanggang Philcoa [which is just outside UP]. paggising ko nasa Central na!!!! waaaah! lumagpas na Philcoa. onting andar pa ng bus, nasa Tandang Sora na ko. my GAWSH. eto pa masama, bumaba ako tapos dun ko lang narealize PAKSYET DI PA KO NASUKLIAN nung kundoktor. todo na to. pero ayus naman, nakausap ko ung sort of manager ng BBL, bukas ko makukuha ung sukli

always on wednesdays, you notice? YESH, i always tend to sleep super late on Tuesday nights... wlu lung...

Guess Hiroyuki Takei's even more stoned than I thought.

I haven't even completely recovered yet from the horror of seeing uberly-grown-up!Yoh+Hao and now I had to see the rest of the SK warriors!

NUUUUUUUUUUUUU, the horror! GAAAAH!

The one on top is Ren [without his beloved tongari and a beard like his father's!]; the left, cloaked man carrying a briefcase of some kind is Lyserg; Chocolove is so obvious as himself; and the one on the bottom looking like utter trash is Horo Horo.

yeah, i used to rant and rant and rant that i hate my mouse because i couldn't color in photoshop properly with it, but i never wanted it dead >__<

actually it's not dead...it's just...er, sick...anyway its problem is it won't scroll down. it goes up, left, and right, but not down. so it's basically useless. YES, i cleaned it already and everything. but it still won't work...

so now i'm typing and surfing and everything using the accessibility options for mouse. i've never appreciated my mouse before until now ;__; i miss my mouse!

i think i somehow deleted all my drawings here in our pc without burning them into a cd first.

see, our stupid pc is in dire need of reformatting but we always put it off...last week i already burned all of our files into cds so if our pc gets reformatted, you know...BUT I CAN'T FIND MY DRAWINGS!!! and my sister already deleted the files i burned...
