Holy cow...I can't believe we've reached 35+ members already! Dang... O-O

Well, since EquiDaemon has kinda reached a peak in popularity, I was thinking of holding a little contest that is totally optional for any member to take part in. The subject? We need a mascot! *pumps fist in the air* xD

Yush, that's right. Anyone who wants to take a shot at making a mascot for ED, go for it! The only rules that apply is that the mascot must be an equine of sorts (of course), and it cannot be a "normal" equine.

There is no need to give the critter a name, because it will have a name by default in relation to the club: "Eddy". x3

Now, I must point out that prizes will not be given out, unfortunately, as this is not really a "serious" contest. However, I shall have a "serious" contest up and running soon. This will just serve as a fun activity to get members involved more in the club, and to give them the opportunity to feature their own creation as a mascot.

The deadline for this contest is March 18, and only one entry is allowed per entrant. Please comment in this journal if you wish to enter. I shall choose the club's mascot on the deadline according to the level of creativity, originality, and effort put into the character.

R U L E S
1) All members must stick to the general theme of EquiDaemon, which is, "NO NORMAL EQUINES." The artwork submitted here can be of daemonic equines, unicorns, or totally original equine characters in general. So remember, kids: normality is boring! Stir up your creative juices and let loose with your equine art. ^^

2) Of course, no misbehaviour will be tolerated, but I am sure it won't be a problem. Profanity, threats, bigotry, harsh criticism, etc., will *not* be tolerated under *any* circumstance. Capisce?

3) And, of course, NO ART THEFT. You know who you are. *gives the evil eye*

4) Please, please, PLEASE comment and fav on an artwork by clicking the link in the description that redirects you to the artist's gallery. The artist will definitely appreciate you praising it there. This will be reminded to everyone for every piece of artwork submitted.

Joining is very simple: Note us with the topic "Join" and add us to your watch list and you're all set! Every person who joins will be added to the list of members below.

Again, very simple. You *must* be a member of the club, however, to do so. Just send me a note with the link of the picture attached, and I shall upload it with a link to the original location of the picture in your gallery.

And, that is about it, really. Later on there will be special features such as contests, featured artwork, and Member-of-the-Month, so never fear, it won't stay dull for too long. ^_-
