I'm not ready to post any of the chapters I have going, and besides, that's not a special Thanksgiving treat! But I have no idea what to do.

Any suggestions? Maybe stronger humiliation, or revenge fattening, or stuckage, or immobility. Maybe inflation?

I've been pondering a WG RP lately. I used to play with a few people here (hello!) back when I could get on aim for longer stretches of time. I loved creating fetish fiction with another person, but more than that, I loved reading what other people were coming up with. There was never enough structure for me, though--aim logs could only create so much story, for me.

So. I'm curious whether anyone would be interested in a WG rpg. It would be set on insanejournal and would use character journal entries (I love first person wg posts, don't you?), aim and e-mail logs, and journal threading. I was trying to think of the most all-inclusive game conceit and decided that the best idea would be to have it be pan-fandom. For example...

All fiction (whether it be literature, mythology, or television) shares a common creative spark. What if, through the main villain's meddling with that common spark, certain characters were yanked from their myths and plonked into a new shared reality. This reality would function much like a modern city, except its neighborhoods would be dedicated to different genres--a woodland for fantasy myths, a high-tech boro for futuristics, a neighborhood for contemporaries, and so on. Time runs differently here, with one week equalling one month. And (the all-important reason for wg) being drawn into this shared reality has a remarkably effect on the body's metabolism. The effect varies from person to person, of course--everyone is different--so while one character may put on massive amounts of weight in a short time, another may be more gradual, while another may not gain much at all. Due to the magic of this place, as well, character perceive their physical reality differently...meaning some may be aware of the change at once, some only gradually, and some not at all.

The plot would be largely character-based, with interactions going on across myths (Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker sitting down for tea? Scarlett O'Hara and Tifa having a mad lesbian affair?) but an overarching plot of tracking down and defeating the villain--and escaping back home--would move alongside the character plots.

Clearly I've been thinking about this a lot! But would anyone be interested in actually playing? It would have to be a locked community, but people could be free to post their rp logs elsewhere. I think it would be a neat way to play with the wg fetish and bring a lot of quality wg fiction into one place. *cough* I may already have a slashy character or two in mind.

It's been an age, hasn't it? I'm crawling out from under my rock to post something that took over my brain recently. No, sadly, it isn't another part of an ongoing story, though I suppose you could squint and say it's connected to the X-Men. It's about a superhero, at least?

Kali (what an original title, yes?) is about a team of female crimefighters. It has a BBW and reluctant weight gain. There may be forcefeeding--I'll see where the muse leads me.

In order to help clarify things, I'll go ahead and list the characters.

The General: So far, the single male in the series. He's the Charlie to the team's Angel's. If it turns into a male/female romance, he'll likely be the guy.

Kali: The initial heroine. Dark, sleek, and in possession of a mighty temper, Kali's power is simple physical might. She is a powerhouse, able to take down much larger opponents with skill and agility. She'll be the focus of most of the weight gain.

Echo: The BBW. She used to be the powerhouse of the team; however, an accident landed her in a wheelchair and years + depression added quite a few pounds. She struggles with her weight vs. her mental image of herself as an athletic crimefighter. Her powers are psychic mindlashes, though she works as research and communications now. She is heavily inspired by Batgirl/Oracle.

Haven: The healer. Haven is ghostly pale and slender and has a very big heart. She is something of an FA, though she'd never admit it, especially since her longtime female lover would very strongly disapprove.

Sunshadow: Haven's female lover. She's a beautiful, extremely athletic African American woman who controls shadows. She's also got a mean right hook, though she's not as agile as Kali. She fights to keep her body in top fighting shape despite a worrying tendency to soften up about the waist.

Freya: Soft, womanly, and beautiful with golden hair and warm eyes. Freya has the power of suggestion and a strong dose of empathy.

Tempest: The most enigmatic of the group. Not even the other team members know this newcomer well.

And I'm back, this time with fandom WG. I had some free time to write but I wasn't really feeling inspired to work on my ongoing series. (Though I promise that Baccanalia will have its third and final chapter up sooner rather than later.) I'd recently been enjoying the stories on porkish_pixies and decided, hell, why not try my hand at fandom WG?

I've been a geekgirl since I was little, so the X-Men were a natural choice. If you browse through my favorite pictures, you'll notice a lot of fannish WG appeals to me. I especially love "More of Mystique". I used that picture as inspiration as I was writing.

The thing I'm most excited about with Expanding Horizons is how many options there are for male and female expansion. The X-universe is huge, and the blend of possible pairings and gains is phenomenal. I could make it as long or as short as I wanted if I used each story to focus on a different gain. There's a lot of potential, and since each story will be self-contained, I won't have to worry about upsetting people by dragging on a WIP.

I'm curious, though--which characters are people most interested in seeing chubbified, and by how much? I've already been pondering who should be in my lineup, but I'd like to see if there are other fans with opinions!

Today I've finally felt I can devote some time to WG fiction, so I'm updating Eastwick.

I've already posted one chapter and am five pages into an eating scene on another. I do enjoy writing eating scenes, because I find stuffing incredibly hot. I think what I enjoy the most is willful ignorance of growth. Isaac, for instance, knows he's getting fat, but he's also mentally detaching himself from it most of the time, so every time he pays attention he's up for a new shock.

I don't know anyone in the male WG community who isn't a fan of BrownieBits. Her art is beautiful and whimsical and infectious. I love looking through her gallery and almost always find something new to admire about her work.

Because I'm such a fan, I offered to write her a male WG story. She assembled some ideas, offered pictures for me to refer back to (and believe me when I say they are absolutely beautiful), and fed me inspiration for a WG fantasy, starring two boys kidnapped and fattened by forest creatures.

I'll be writing this story in shorter scenes with several POVs, the way I'm writing Eastwick. Recently I had some trouble with Bacchanalia, as I always write WG chapters all in one go whenever I have time/inspiration. I had intended for there to be two more scenes in chapter two of Bacchanalia, but unfortunately I couldn't finish before I had to stop writing--and trying to add them later simply didn't work.

I plan on recycling those scenes (because the image of two very round people forced to sit face-to-face in a small carriage, bellies rubbing together no matter what they do is an appealing one to me) and using them in Eastwick, but it's frustrating to not be able to finish something due to time constraints. So the episodic posting will have to do for now.

All that said, I’m off to start Changeling, BrownieBit’s fantasy WG.

I should be working on other things, but what can I say? I'm clearly in the mood to write WG fiction right now.

I thought I'd try something a little different. The story, Eastwick, will be a multi-part, multi-character Regency-set story with male and female WG. It contains m/m, m/f, possibly f/f, and all kind of mixes in between. Each posted section will be only a scene or two long, and I will update as I have time (while working on other, less episodic stories). This could mean several updates in one night (I'm on a roll atm, for instance) or long stretches in between. As such, I doubt I'll be announcing it to Male_Indulgence until I've got a few scenes up and running.

If you'd rather not read short, episodic bites, wait on checking out Eastwick. Also! While some of the historical details are 100% correct, I am writing a "wallpaper historical". Meaning that the historical setting is just windowdressing. I'm changing things or ignoring things (or getting things wrong!) as I see fit. If you're a historical buff, please do keep this in mind!

I realized I never really introduced myself.

I write weight gain and fetish fiction under the pen name Erato. I'm interested in male and female weight gain and enjoy m/m, f/f, and m/f interaction. I'm always open to suggestions. I'm also (as you'll notice if you scroll through my favorites) really interested in comic fandom wg.

I don't have much in the way of time, so my fetish fiction is typically chaptered, fast-moving, focused on the gain, and ranging from 8-12 pages a chapter. I self-edit before posting, but I doubtless miss numerous errors, for which I do apologize.

I have a deep love for historical fiction, so the Victorian and Regency eras will likely crop up often. I like to experiment with styles and genres. I am willing to write stories tailored to artwork from time to time, but it really is a case-by-case basis.

And...that's it, I believe!

Erato
