I am truly honored to be part of this book. If you couldn't tell by now, I am a HUGE Darkstalker fan so when Udon approached me to do penciling duties on this title, I nearly lost it. Not only that, but I get to share the book with my good friend Joe Vriens, who's art I'm sure you're no stranger to!

Anyways, I can't wait to see the first issue hit shelves early next year and I hope you all will love it as much as I loved working on it.

Been awhile since I posted anything new, but I wanted to officially announce that Aardehn was invited to join the insanely talented individuals over at Transmission X, an online comic collective! Thanks again everyone!

This month I have alot of work to post, first and foremost my Aardehn pages as I plan to hit my 50th page mark for February 1st! This was a goal I set for myself one year ago from that date. Please stop on by to check it out. I also post the pages on Universe V here on deviant art.

Aside from that I have alot of new art from a recent facebook game I worked on. When the time is right, which should be this month, I plan to post it all with a link to the game and to everyone else that worked on it, that was part of this site. Really looking forward to hearing your comments on it and the game.

I've been wanting to join for over 2 years and now I am able to. Drawing from still life has always been my passion, especially life drawing. I also want to learn how to paint and this school will allow me to learn traditionally one day. This will in turn help my overall art skill and ability. (I hope! )

Over the weeks and months and years to follow I will be posting my progress as I rarely have time for much else. The first post is 1 of 4 Bargue drawings I will be doing. I will also post relevant life drawings as well. I have always enjoyed watching artists progression so I figured I would give back in my own little way.

On another note, I will be attending the San Diego Comic Book Convention this July with Udon. Come by for a visit and say hi.

I finally have found the time to begin doing commission work, for those of you who might be interested.

What you get:

Each commission is sketched or inked on authentic Udon comic board, measuring 43cm x 28 cm (11"x17") and accompanied by my signature, before being mailed off to you.
If you also desire a 300dpi scan of said commission, just let me know before I send it your way.

Legalities:

These commissions are a private, one-time sale only for personal use. They are not to be resold, reprinted or used to endorse purchases and/or products of any kind. All characters are copyright of their respective owners and I claim no responsibility for their use by the commissioner or by anyone else.

Prices:

1. Pencil Sketch ( 1 full character with no BG, done in pencil. Typically there will be minimal, to none construction lines/smudges/doodles) = $100 CAD/USD

EXAMPLE

2. Inked Drawing (1 full character with no BG, inked. Typically the drawing is erased, with minimal to none white-out) = $200 CAD/USD

EXAMPLE

For Grayscale, Color images, commissions requiring multiple characters and/or a BG, please email me for quotes.

Payment:

I accept Paypal only. Also, full payment up front. This is just a precautionary to protect myself and to also guarantee you, my artwork.
Shipping is extra and will be discussed through emails.

Misc:

- Once payment is received, I will send you a rough sketch through email. This is when I would make any and all revisions. Revisions are expected but nothing too excessive or I might decide to charge extra. Once the rough sketch is approved I will move onto the final image.

- In regards to subject matter, I will not draw any pornography, yaoi or excessive gore (basically, if I'm uncomfortable drawing it, good chance I won't do it.) Other then that, I am pretty open minded.

- These commissions are of established characters only and are not to be confused with character or concept design artwork. If you would like artwork of characters designed by yourself, you must send along all pertinent information regarding your characters design.

- It is a first come, first serve basis and only 1 commission at a time. You will be placed on a waiting list if multiple commissions are requested at the same time. I will let you know your place in the order and also when I will be available to start on it.

March is starting with a bang up here in canuck land. From +15 to -3 in a days time, followed by ice rain, sleet, then soft pile-up snows.... the roads are a mess!! These are definitely the times I enjoy being a stay at home artist. Of course, I do LOVE driving around on the roads in my all wheel drive Subaru Impreza woot! ( btw Omar, still waiting on my black subaru/hot japanese samurai girl pic!)

Anyways, looking forward to spring and the new golf season but in the meantime, I plan to keep posting more of this monster pinup. Just gonna take some time hehe.
