In other news, my lovely fiancee bought me Fallout 3 during the week, to which I am now hopelessly addicted.. so good!

I was a huge fan of the first 2, so I was dubious about the new look of 3, but thankfully it's still the same old Fallout, but now with HDR! Brilliant game. I could gush for hours.

It's damn hard to find a webhost who will give unlimited bandwidth or at least sell high-bandwidth packages for reasonable prices.

As SotI is just a hobby for me, I'm not so keen to pay out a few hundred pounds each month for a dedicated server of my own, so I'm just looking into a few kind offers from some friends who have their own existing servers.

So just watch this space for now :/

In the mean time I'm also trying to write my own cyberpunk LARP system, as well as continuing to write SotI and GM my two weekly roleplay games.

At least I'm keeping busy!

YES, I know it's been out long enough to spawn a sequel! I had played it through nearly to the end when I first got it, but then got sidetracked by other games coming out and a general lack of interest in the game, then one thing led to another, my computer died and I've only recently gotten around to re-installing Stalker and playing it through again.

I am SO glad I did. Nothing beats the feeling of satisfaction that completing a genuinly good game can bring. Stalker is up there with Fallout 2, Half-life 2 and Dark Corners of the Earth as one of the best single-player games I've played, and unlike some games which fizzle at the end, Stalker has some great endings.

I saved near the final stages, so I reloaded and managed to get 3 of the 7 possible endings, which is also a nice extra!

Now, what should I play next? Maybe I should get around to finishing Oblivion!

It's strange; when I started writing SotI I was a bit irked that I could only post it here and on a few 40k forums, but now I'm considering switching to my own website I'm worried I'll scare people off my comic!

I saw it last night, was a bit hesitant and expecting the worst (Lucas went into my bad-books after Phantom Menace) and probably because of that I REALLY enjoyed it!

Yes, Lucas had tacked on his obligatory pointless, obvious CG nonsense, but at the heart of it, it still felt like the other films.
I'm glad they made it, I'l buy the DVD and add it to my existing Indy collection.

I have to have surgery to get it removed, and not being overly-fond of hospitals and general anesthetic (spelling? bah) I'm not keen to go for that option yet.

Still, it's hurting, and my discomfort at the idea of having my jaw dislocated and sawed open is diminishing.

Just watched the season finally of Heroes series 1.
Unlike many people, I haven't given in to the frankly annoying habit of downloading TV series from the internet; I much prefer watching episodes on a nice big TV, at a decent aspect ratio, and then having a week to gleefully await the next installment.
