i don't explain my work a lot of the time because i feel i have no need to. i know what the photo means to me, and would like its viewers to draw their own conclusion about it as well.

i suppose i should get off here and continue getting ready to leave for columbus. i'm going to the columbus museum of art.....it's been a long while, so i'm really excited. especially since they have a degas exhibition right now.....eeeeek!

i'd really like to sell it and get another one, actually. something that can take good quality photos, but is also functional...and i can use it for things like concerts and parties. there's no way in hell that i'd bring my camera now to a concert or a party....unless it was a really chill concert. like the jack's mannequin acoustic show at the basement.

oh well.

in other news, here in a few weeks i'll be starting college...and a photography class that i'm really looking forward to. it'll be my first time actually being instructed in photography. up until now i've really just experimented solely on my own. so this should be interesting. i need to go buy a 35mm camera with an adjustable lense. that's the other thing - it's a film photography class. i've done digital and only digital. well, i've used our old canon t50 (35mm)...but just had the film developed at wal-mart. i've never done it myself.

And since I now have my car......wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!! I'm gonna start doing the things I've wanted to do forever now - like grab my camera and just go to random places to see what kind of shots I can get. Or just have it with me all the time and if I'm out somewhere in my zippy little car and spot something that would make for a good pic, I'll be able to pull over and snap a few. I'm liking this. hehe. Oooh yeah.

Luff my camera - I need to play with it a lot more though to learn all its little modes and settings. Since I got it during the school year, I was too busy with all that shit to really mess with it *too* much. But now that I'm out....I have time, so why not?
