Anyway, so. Who am I, you ask? Indeed, it's been too long, too long to remember the harrowing days of yore and the hero that never stood. .......If you think I'm gonna continue with an epic equal to that of Homer, you must be desperate for something good. We don't get much of that from Hollywood nowadays. lol j/k I'm sure it's got some good things going. It's not like it's only in it for the money and the media. ...

Well, I've been up to lots of things. Over the course of a year, I've become a Residence Advisor for a residence hall at my university, got an internship at a local medical clinic, took various classes that completely changed my view of education, etc. I think about 4 of the 13 classes I've had these two school years that were philosophy-based. I never thought I would ever really study philosophy/philosophical works. So I've suddenly found myself somewhat familiar with Descartes, Plato, John Locke, Kant, C.G. Jung, Sextus, Karl Marx, etc. I read Moby Dick for the first time in my life and...I still need to finish it even though we were supposed to have finished it in the three weeks we were assigned to it. BLAH. Anywho, time to study Japanese. Laters~

Umm....wow...I haven't posted anything at all for a while huh?
I blame college life.

Anyway.....yeah. Been busy with a buncha stuff, academics, clubs, committees, procrastination. The usual. My university is holding something called
The International Festival as a community event and I've been co-chairing for one of the committees in it, so I've been busier than I thought I would ever be. o_O

- Got accepted into the university I want to go to (Soka University of America), it's a Liberal Arts one in Cali.
-Got a $7,000 scholarship to that university. (Now all I have to worry about is graduating.)
- Won a little t-shirt design contest with a picture that was actually meant as a joke. I feel kinda bad for that because my friends drew awesome pics and my joke one won. --;
- Went to prom which was absolutely ridiculous but also got to see a show "Mystere" (Cirque Du Soleil) on the same night so it was fun. ^_^
- Became obsessed with a korean boyband, my favorite guy's Max. >DD
- My brother left for Japan and I'm not receiving his emails for some reason... T_T Mebe there's something wrong with my email accounts?
- I GOT CABLE INTERNET, OMG!!!! XDDD
- And a lot more but I can't remember anything after that.

Mel (Selemo)- Aw crap, I left the CD Player on again, 'ope Sei has more batteries.

Answer:
Sei- She likes wearing pastel colors but she's ok with darks too. Mostly she wears a light tee-shirt over a dark, long-sleeved shirt with khaki shorts and brown boots.

Aki- Aki's a nerdy sorta guy so he'll be into "geeky" stuff like sweater-vests and high socks. But he does like wearing a white shirt with a navy blue sweater-vest over it, a black tie, tight jeans, and fancy dress shoes.

Haru- Being the sporty member of the group, guess what he likes to wear! Eh, typically a jersey over a black or white undershirt with tan shorts and tennis shoes. >>

Mel- He doesn't really care much for what clothes he wears, just as long as he's got headphones wrapped either around his neck or on his ears. : P He tends to wear to heavy boots and hoodies though.

Sun- "Clothes don't matter. I would go around naked if not for the fact it would disrupt the immediate environment around me." This is not entirely true, she's not too fond of skirts and high heels. She's quite the tomboy.

Tal- "Well, I'd have to say a split-sided pin-striped skirt edged in lace with a periwinkle blue blouse and a matching over-jacket. ...Or maybe a white lace dress with a straw hat and sunflower slippers. Oo! Or maybe a satin gown glittering with little diamonds and-"

Sei- Well, she's been rather self-conscious lately so she'd prolly pick out things that people typically wouldn't notice. That or she'd muse on whether she held any resemblance to her mum and dad or not.

Aki- He'd probably check to see if his tie's straight or if his glasses are smudged. He's somewhat of a perfectionist, but it's not so bad sometimes, especially when he double-checks things and finds something that woulda been embarrassing. =]

Haru- Definitely would check out his hair to see if it's gelled right, then lift his eyebrows in a manly fashion. <<;

Who'da thought that the holidays could be so stressful? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHH. >____< I hope you all had a Merry Chrismas, Happy Kwanzaa and Hanukkah, Good Winter Solstice, whatever other holiday that exists between December and January, and a Happy New Year. =] Hope you all were treated to presents like little thieves too. XP Now I shall rant about my stresses.

Stress 1- College applications. My mum kept refusing to let me apply for two other universities other than my primary choice (pay for application fees in other words). That therefore resulted in me (after finally getting her to agree) sending for my SAT scores LATER than I'd like, hopefully they'll be able to reach the universities within a week, because two of the deadlines are Jan. 4 and 5, and having holidays happen one after the other really doesn't help. .___. Not to mention, I still have to ask my school to send my official transcript, but school doesn't start until tomorrow, and the lady who handles the transcripts doesn't always check her inbox.
Stress 2- Art projects. I have to complete four projects in about.....ten days or I'm doomed to an F in Studio Art. And I've been rather busy throughout the winter break to do much, never mind projects. I managed to finish one though. So I have two of six done. That's not saying much though, one of the projects I'm doing consists of singularly drawing little hats in the shape of a big person and coloring it. Bit stupid of me eh? Didn't know I had so little time though...And I really want to get two friend's pics done but,.....nya. =\

Stress 3- I've worked at my parents' seafood market doing much of everything from sushi-making to lifting giant pots and sacks of rice. The dish-washing seemed endless. o_o And I haven't just worked on a normal day, I worked on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, which meant no sitting for 11 hours straight and constant running back and forth. Christmas was a bit slow so that was ok. Anywho, I'm dead tired and hopefully I'll get enough sleep by today (2 in the morning. XP Why am I still up? I don't feel tired at all, but I know I really am).

Stress 4- Wait...what was stress 4.....errr....oh yeah, my hamster's dying after I only had him for eight months. ;__; I was hoping he'd get better but he's getting worse by the day. He hardly even eats now, and he has to take it in little bits that's hard for me to hold on (I am hand-feeding him, we think he broke his arm which is why he got sick), so half the time he's dropping the food. v.v; =3


Anywho, after so much ranting, I ought to follow up with boring news. =] I have recently come up with a new manga/comic idea and it will be called Morning Coffee. I've already set up the characters of which I will now list and describe in general detail. I'll prolly do that character quiz thing sometime soon.

Sei Saito- The main character, she's rather slow and simple. Slow, but NOT stupid. Well, not entirely anyway. <<; = P; She's also quite nice and knows how to cook fairly well. Poor kid is an easy target to get picked on though. v.v;

So, for our four day weekend, I spent three days of it attending an anime con here in Vegas. ^_^ It was FUN. I wish it never ended. v.v; Stupid school. Anywho, there were over twenty voice actors there and on the second day (Saturday) all 30 or so (english) voice actors were put on a stage panel. Which was.....wow. XD; Now I know a lot of people aren't fans of dubs but the voice actors were freakin' awesome and FUNNY. O__o Especially Vic Magnogna (Edward Elric), Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke), Laura Bailey (Tohru Honda), Sean Schemel (sp? Goku) and Johnny Yong Bosch (Vash, original Power Ranger). In one panel, the convention volunteers gave the v.a.'s nerf dart guns. They kept shooting the audience! XP; Johnny even dipped his darts in the water pitcher and shot some people with 'em. Eeew. : P They also turned on each other, it was like Voice Actors Melee. ^_^ Oh! At the closing ceremonies of the convention, Vic sang a song and Johnny and Christopher Bevins did "interpretive dancing." XD It was like a really badly rehearsed ballet which was absolutely hilarious. Johnny was so into it, his cell phone flew out of his pocket. I bet a million pairs of eyes stared at it before he picked it up. X]; During that Voice Actor panel, fans gave the voice actors some of the things they bought at the con (Yuri got a Sasuke plushie from a girl who had four. O_o ) Johnny made a joke about how people should give money. He ended up doing a strip-dance type of thing on the stage (he only took off his sweatshirt though, I got that observation from agent00dragn) and fangirls went up to the stage to put dollar bills in his butt pocket. XD; He made $18.50. XDD;

There was also a dealer's room. What really amused me was the Hentai/yaoi/yuri booth. In big letters above the booth- HENTAI. And there was a poster or two.... O_o Shield your children's eyes!!! Just because we're Sin City doesn't mean that...well.....C'MON! >_< But yeah, I had an embarrassing moment with that booth. I saw some import anime CDs at/near the hentai booth so I went over to have a look. There were CDs in several separate boxes so I was sifting my way through them (AIR CD- $54 O_o ) and didn't realize the last box was full of CDs from hentai anime. O___o; (Amazing discovery that, hentai anime actually have their own soundtracks. ....<<; ) I was just looking at titles and was wondering why I didn't recognize any of the titles when the booth guy eyed me and asked if I was over 18. Then I noticed the sign saying the stuff was only for 18 and over and I was like- O_____O;;;; OMG. *Hasty retreat* My hands are now tainted with.....nasty....STUFF!!! X|

Anywho, moving on, I bought a buncha Bleach stuff! ^_^ Everything at the con was so gawd-farging expensive. O_o But I'm too impatient for Ebay. I saw $63 CD. ._.; And there was this Kon plushie that was being sold for $20. 20!! And he was only about six to seven inches tall. O_o I bought a Renji plushie ($12), a Renji plastic folder ($9), a Renji figurine ($5), a Bleach shirt ($10), a Bleach button ($2), a Bleach one-strap backpack ($30), two Bleach posters ($5), Urahara plushie ($10), and a Kon plushie ($10). Poking a real life Renji- priceless. XP j/k (Mastercard commercial reference?) Anywho. That comes up to a total of about $93. O_o Gawd.

Cosplayers! ^_^ Several of my friends dressed up as Invader Zim characters (Zim, Gir, Dib). I was supposed to be Gaz but I was too lazy for....costuming? O_o; Anywho, they were awesome even though they said not a lot of people recognized them. ( as Zim, as Gir, as Dib ). There were a lot of awesome cosplays out there. As for the first week of school, it was pretty good. ^_^ My classes are-
1. Studio Art AP
2. Modern Literature H
3. Intermediate Orchestra
4. Precalculus
5. Japanese IV H
6. Library Aide

I also have Government H, second semester, an online course. So that gives me a total of seven periods. But being that two of my classes at school require no homework at all (unless you count practicing violin) , and one class is for drawing which I do a lot of anyway, the workload isn't so bad. Gives me time for college applications, scholarship searching, club activities (which will be starting soon enough), and other things. >>; No I am not a busy kid. I just...do a lot.
It's awesome to have Studio Art, it's my first art class evar (not counting half a semester in sixth grade). >D And I get to be in it with Krys and Emily. ^_^ I'm not much of a morning person but Krys and Emily = XD awesome. I just have to get used to sharing my art in person. ._.; I dread Tuesday when I will have to present my self-portrait.

My teachers are....well...most are awesome. PreCalc teacher Mr. Cwik tried to trip me the other day when I was walking through the door. That's awesome in itself since other teachers would rather retreat from kids like we're diseased or something. Or hang out with their 'pets.' Mrs. Newkirk and her assistant Patty, Librarians, are funny and very friendly. ^_^ And not to mention, I get to work in the library so I get to READ. O_O (
As for the week, here's a small breakdown.
Monday- First day of school, I was sleepy like crap the whole day so it's all hazy.
Tuesday- Still somewhat sleepy, I'm just starting to get to know my teachers and fellow classmates, Precalc assigns homework in preparation for pre-test, I tried to cover books in the library but it is teh EVIL.
Wednesday- Finally started to play music in orchestra, more Precalc homework, picked up a locker application. Art Club 'officials' (I'm Treasurer, GIVE ME YOUR MONIES) met to discuss Art Club stuff.
Thursday- More music, no Precalc homework, writing pre-test for Mod. Lit., turned in locker application, did some art stuff. Government Teacher did not appear for online class.
Friday- Japanese class finally begins with a story we have to translate and karaoke, precalc pre-test which I KNOW I didn't do good at all, started presenting and comentating on Self-portraits in Studio Art. OMG I have finally obtained an actual obsession. :0 It's kinda funny since I'm often complaining about creepy fangirls (no, not Krys or any friend....except Jen mebe). But no! I shall not turn out to be a creepy fangirl in the end. x0 I shan't! And what is the thing I am now obsessed about? BLEACH!!!!!! :0 OMG. Greatest anime EVAR, it even beats One Piece. :0 No, not the dubbed crap they call One Piece, I mean the subbed, which is MUCH better. ^_^ But yes, Bleach is teh ultimate awesome. : P Even the music is good. I had to get used to the second ending theme, but nya. I recommend you listen to Life is Like a Boat by Rie Fu. Preeetty. ^_^ I listen to it everyday. X|

Another thing that's growing on me is Abarai Renji. This dude-[link] I've only seen up to episode 18 of Bleach which means only about three episodes with few minute segments of him in each, but he's already growing on me. : P Along with him, my top five fav. Bleach characters are (I can't come up with a number one, I like 'em all. :0 )- Kurosaki Ichigo (poor guy, always frowning mwahah), Kuchiki Rukia (*poke*), Kon(!!!), Urahara Kisuke (hehe, he's green), and Abarai Renji. But that's just for now, I have yet to see the rest of the 47-odd eps that are out thus far. O.o And as to what Bleach is about....SHINIGAMI-NESS!!! >D It's like Spider-Man, genre-wise. Drama, comedy, action. >D And when I say it's funny, it's FUNNY. There, I walk for almost two hours in 110 degree weather, play for another hour in the fields again in the hot sun, and then go into the gym for yet more sports. A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position.
The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said, "Where am I?" in large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded. Their sign said, "You are in a helicopter."

Another thing about the anime is that they took out parts that was in the manga, like Luffy's past and more on Zoro's. They also added stuff like Nami appearing in the first and second episode. Haven't seen the original anime though, so I'm not sure if it was actually editted out/in or not. I wish they editted the music. It was.......umm.....>>; ( < that's all I can say) Blood was also editted out (or as far as I can remember).

Washed my huge blanket in my parents' big tub (the blanket is too big to fit in the washing machine) by hand. Then Saturday, went to friend's b-day party. LOTS of running. Played Red Rover which hurt like hell, volleyball which was rather short and there wasn't much competition on either side XD, this game called Missionary Tag or something. THAT required the most running. You have to chase and be chased, and not particularly in that order. Freeze Tag, didn't participate much in, then we fooled around the kids' playground. x] *Aches all over now...* And now I'll get around to your deviations/comments/journals.

The bad things of Friday- My friend Angela wasn't at lunch since she turned the four-day weekend into five; my History teacher told me to do the book report which I was planning not to ; my Algebra 1H teacher told me she already gave the Student Aide form to someone else so I have to go to the office to pick up a Student Tutor form for her; I know I did bad on that Algebra 1H test; and Emily wasn't in Algebra 2? O.o She was in Japanese, the period before. Wonder ifshe's ok....Anywho, another freaky thing is that I voluntarily read Shakespeare for SSR in Japanese.

Now the good thing- I went to my usual Art Club Magazine meeting. I took out my drawings folder to catch up on the manga I was drawing for it. A friend wanted to have a look through it and later, my other friend Elizabeth wanted to have a look too. She commented nicely on 'em and said I should go to Art AP next year. Or something like that, can't really remember. O.o; I have never had any art classes, unless you count one semester of Art in sixth grade. And I thought you're supposed to have a portfolio of art stuff from your previous art classes (or so I heard). I told her so but she said something like,"So? Just go show your drawings to Ms. Heater (the art teacher who's classroom we were using for the Magazine, she's also the advisor of Art Club)." Hey, why not right? I went over and inquired about Art AP. She then looked through my drawing stuff. Minutes later, she had me signed up for Studio Art AP. She said I already had the basic skills down and understood concepts like color depth and shading. And she was also the teacher who taught the AP art class, so I guess I have to trust her judgement. o.o; ^_^ So yay! Am so happy! Finally gonna take an art class!! >D I'm gonna have to work my ass off though, I think I need to catch up on certain things... o.O; But mwahaha! Now my mom can't get pissed at me everytime she sees me draw, cuz now I have an 'actual reason' to draw. x] I told her so at dinner, she gave me a mean eye and didn't say anything. xDDD

8/11/05-I've finally got around to starting more pics and working on 'em. =] I've also finally kinda worked out the plot or whatever of a comic/manga I've always wanted to do. This morning, I've put in about 4 hours of coloring but I'm still not very far along in the workload. Okay, and now for my ranting and ravings. *Ahemity-hem* .........so therefore, shrapnel. Hehe, shrapnel. I made a new curse word, frap. xD Not as if it's gonna be used, but still, I use it! It's a cross between me two favorites, fudge and crap. ...XD That sounds wrong. Anywho, oh yeah! Some 'o you prolly heard about this.
I'm retaking Algebra 1 because I failed Freshman year ne? Well, we were going over this thing called Matrices where you have to do a bunch of crap with numbers in a box. So anyway, we took the chapter test today. One of the questions was, "What is a matrix?" Some of you probably guessed what I wrote down, eh? Well, being that I did not remember, I put "The Matrix is a reality in which humans are prisoners within their own mind and provide energy for AI robots." Literally. I did. I hope she doesn't yell at me in class on Monday. Cuz teachers say Freshman are usually the most obnoxious kids in high school, I could prove that theory DEAD WRONG. x]; Might not be something to be proud of, but hey! Okay, I'll just up now.

Wait! Oh yeah, it snowed today. ^_^ Or, semi-snowed anyway. Slush. Nobody believed it at first and when this girl said she had snow in her hair in Algebra, this guy said something like, "Bah, that's not snow! It all started about an hour ago. My mom was ready to sleep and was taking her Korean movie out of the VCR. Then suddenly.........BAM!!!! O.o THE VCR EXPLODED AND SENT A SCREW INTO MY MOM'S EYE CAUSING HER TO SCREAM IN PAIN AND MY DAD TO-I really hope you didn't believe that. x] I was just playing with ya. But seriously, it started same time, same way before it got to the BAM!!!! bit. The tape had apparently gotten stuck in our cheap VCR so my mum left me to take it out (because I have a fair hand at freeing tapes from our carnivorous VCRs, sorry folks, we're poor, dun have a DVD player T.T; ). Well, it came out easily enough, but the tape in the vid was twisted, so I decided I would open it up. Take out the screws, open the cover, easy-peasy. WRONG. My dad decided to take all the screwdrivers to our family market, so I had to make-do with a rusty pocket knife I found in the kitchen. And the minute I opened the f@#$er up, a tiny white cylinder clattered loose from god knows where and the tape got screwed some more and everything. Everytime I tried to fix something, something else would come loose. Eventually, after about an hour, I managed to stick the damned thing together and found a vacant spot for the white cylinder. After a few more goes with loose objects, I got the tape back together and untwisted.

Well, there goes my rant. =] Ahhhh, ain't it beautiful. Not so funny really, so I'll go and make a comic or two to make ya laugh.
