And so... being jobless, I'm making a charity case of myself ^_^;

I'm looking for commissions, and donations to my tablet-y cause. All the commissions I take from this point until I get the tablet will have the payments set aside. Also, those of an incredibly generous persuasion are welcome to donate to my OMG NEEDZ TABLET cause. For every five dollars a person opts to donate, they'll be noted as having a numbered 'ticket' here on my journal. When I succeed in getting my tablet, I'll go to a randomizer site and use it to select from amongst the lot of the tickets for a couple of prizes....

They can be whatever, circular, bordered.... it's all up to you. What I'm hoping is to get a good price since it's a mass purchase, and I'm honestly wanting it to be 200x200 or under. (Prefer 100x100)

Now.... should one be willing to do this as a series of portraits.... I really don't have the funds right now for the lot. BUT, I am willing to arrange some sort of trade or payment agreement or -something-. This is just a good friend that's been using a shoddy freewebs site far too long for my comfort!

Just post any offers and examples of your work <3 Let me know what price you'd ask for this little project.

PS- Whomever takes this commish will likely get repeat business, as the character is capable of dropping old forms so as to take new ones. I'd be willing to come back for more icons should such a thing happen.

Form 1: Druidic Wolf
A seasoned anthro Wolf, dressed in a tattered and torn brown robes. His fur is a muddy brown shade, lined with a few premature gray markings, and his long hair falls behind him in loose braids. He carries a staff in his paws, various bits and baubles hanging off of the staff such as feathers and dried flower petals. He looks to be somewhere in his forties, but sometimes acts many years older, muttering nonsense about the 'youngin's, while other times he seems many years younger. A strange one, but a useful fellow to have around.
Companion- A graying tabby, by the name of Tabatha. She prefers to hang around on Ferus' shoulder, but can be known to wander.

Form 2: Wolf
A sleek white feral wolf, pure white and rather beautiful. This is his usual shape when speaking with other ferals, or when feeling the need to look graceful or majestic. Or, if he simply feels like tearing something apart with his teeth. He stretches to about 5 feet from nose to tail tip.
Companion- A small black mouse, by the name of Drake. He is usually clinging to one part of Ferus' fur or another, though he makes a habit of hiding in his chest fur when frightened. Unfortunately, he tickles Ferus terribly, and a laughing feral is an odd sight indeed.

Form 3: The Crow
An elven-furre, of decidedly maudlin nature. He stands a full six feet tall and is dressed in a slimming black cloak. He is a strange being, in that he is actually a hybrid of feline and elf, making him mostly elven, but with a generous sampling of fur along various parts of his anatamy, tipping his ears for instance. This also gives his jaw an angular point, just a slight one mind. It also gives his eyes a disturbingly feline gleam, and grants him claws and teeth. This form is taken when Ferus is in a darker mood (more often than he would like), and can at times be dangerous. Other times, he might simply be depressing. He is armed with a scythe in this form, in a sense making a mockery of death.
Companion(s)- Ferus is actually accompanied by a Murder (flock) of crows in this form, though only one of them, by the name of Lucius, is truly his companion. Lucius however, is the leader of the Murder, and his companions always follow him, and as such follow Ferus. They can be seen on his shoulders, on the scythe, or really anywhere around Ferus when in this form. A rather disturbing phenomenon actually.

Form4: Dire Vampire Bat
A powerful being that many confuse with a monstrous sort of Vampire. Though he may feast on blood, he is not a Vampire in the sense of being undead, but Vampire Bat in species. A being standing well over six feet tall, he is dressed in regal robes of satin, a hood sewn unto the robe hiding his features fairly well. His flesh appears paper thin, stretched taught over bony arms (the only part of his anatomy readily visible), yet that flesh is tough as hardened leather, sharing many of the unnaturally tough aspects of other Dire creatures. Along the underside of his arms are set similarly thick folds of membrane. When spread wide this membrane unfolds into wings, granting him flight. Frighteningly long claws flash out from long fingers and his smile is edged with dangerous fangs, making both his teeth and claws wonderfully effective weapons on their own. For those whom simple tooth and claw will not suffice, there is always the slightly curved longsword set at his hip... and of course, Feralia.

What would you do if...
I cried: I'd do my best to comfort you, for all that there's only so many things a person can say in text.
I committed suicide: Rally up De and some others and hunt down the asshole that prompted it. I'd do by best to find out as well when your funeral was, so I could attend.
I said I liked you: I think I'd be both startled and flattered.
I kissed you: As above, only moreso!
I lived next door to you: Offer to hang out, club, babysit, etc. That and I'd be all about art jams. Just sitting around, talking, and sketching.
I died: Again, I'd do my best to attend the funeral, and look into who would be taking care of Zo with you gone.
I was afraid: Again there's only so much I can say over text, but I'd do my best to comfort and advise you until you felt like you were back in control of the situation.
I started smoking: I'd scold the hell out of you for doing it with a bun in the oven and with a kid in the house. If you waited until after you delivered and only did it outside? Less scolding, but it'd still make a bad impression. Still- I've learned not to give my smoking friends too much shit. They'll do what they wanna do.
I stole something: I might congratulate you or express frustration, depending on what it was. A lot of people steal. Little stuff doesn't really bother me.
I were hospitalized: Freak out. No- really. Long distance makes it hard to do anything, but I'd want to know what happened and who was taking care of Zo.

I got in a fight and you were there: It'd be on. If you're in a fist fight, I'll back you up. there may have to be severe cheating involved, but these things happen.

What do you think about my?...
Personality: You have your good and bad moments like everyone else, though you tend to be more entertaining about it than most.
Eyes: Heh, you should link to a pic to ask these. I have to go based on memory. I've always been a fan of expressive eyes, regardless of the color. You have them.
Face: You have a serious babyface, in my opinion. Look younger than you are, and dollishly pretty when you want to.
Hair: Let us simply say I wish I could get my hair to do the things yours does.
Clothes: I haven't seen much of your clothes, since I've only seen so many pictures. You tend to have a knack though for wearing things that flatter your figure. that or wearing whatever you want and making it flatter your figure.
Voice: Haven't heard it, or at least not for a long-ass time. Might have back in the Malfco teamspeak days.
Humor: You tend to say things that catch me by surprise and make me laugh, so I'd say you had a good sense of humor.
Choice of music: No idea, though I love the music you set on your sites if it's any indication.
Mannerisms: You've got as many good habits as bad, and from my opinion they weigh each other out nicely. If they didn't, I certainly wouldn't like your e-company as much!

Whether it's a pencil sketch or a fully colored piece will depend entirely on the cooperation of my computer and the motivation levels I manage to keep.

And for the love of god I don't know why, but I've been on a real kitsune kick recently. Not only are they all I seem to be able to draw since doing that piece for Victoria Black, but I've made two kitsune chars to boot! No idea where it's coming from. And naturally Gaia's stalking me and put out a kitsune-ish item.... which I lust for. (I lust enough that I'm willing to accent them as bribes for sketchies... *nudgenudge*)

A pencil sketch is exactly what it sounds like. You give me info on your character, and I go to town on my sketchpad or the nearest piece of paper.
Inking (On Pencil Sketch)- +$2
This'd be a step beyond the above. Where a pencil sketch is likely to be messy- pay a tad extra and I'll ink the picture for you! If nothing else it'll like as not scan better.
Shading (On Pencil Sketch)- +$5
Another addition you can choose for a pencil sketch, the shading is also done in (you guessed it!) pencil.
The Original (On Pencil Sketch)- Ranges
This option may or may not be available on a given piece, and the prices will range intensely based on how pleased I am with the picture and how difficult it was for me to make. Offers are welcome.
Digital Sketches (Bust)- $5
Again it's pretty much what it sounds like. You give me a rundown on your character, I pop open Open Canvas and go to town. This is a fairly good example of what you end up with>

If you want to have a picture manipulated for a layout or to be turned into a port (for furcadia) or something of the like, I will most likely approve it. However- I do require that you ask first, as while I'm giving you a copy of my work, that doesn't give you the right to change it.
