Catching Fire is a wonderful book. If you havent read it, or Hunger Games, REEEEEEAAAAAADDDD TTTHHHHEEEEEMMMMMMM!!!!!

I promised no spoilers, so you dont get to know EXACTLY which parts I liked (and for my friends sakes who havent read it and want to, dont comment with "Did you like the part where Katniss ******" because I dont want to have to hide your comment, however temporarily)

The book was amazing and has several twists and turns. Peeta and Gale are great. AND AND AND you get to meet President Snow, the dude who rules Panem.. who is totally IKIKIK!!

So read the Hunger Games series. NOW

And for those who want to know, it only took me a day to read it.. talk about a fast-paced read..

Long.. short doesnt look right

Left. I think it does that b/c I'm right handed.

I tend to use a lot of darker, gentler colors. My eyes bleed if my colors are too bright..

I was thinking that I would possibly read Cadence, my Nightwish song-fic. I think that it would, maybe, be more awesome with the bits of the song playing here and there where they're written out. Just wondering if it is a good idea..

For some reason, all anyone can do anymore is either gossip or tear people down. I cant stand it anymore. I try to ignore this, call me stupid if you will.. I CANT STAND IT ANYMORE!!

Not saying I'm going to kill myself. It's just stupid gossip, really.

At work, all anyone ever does is ask who's f***** whom and torture those who get more hours than them and those who get less. Just because I work there makes me privy to the gossip. I dont care whether it's about me, really, I just get sick of hearing the latest (very unlikely) couples or mean things about everyone else.

Part of me wants to quit; the part that wakes up with a headache on inventory mornings, the part that's sick every time I think about certain people. Part of me wants to stay; the part that doesnt want to be just another "teen worker", the part that doesn't want to disappoint people. I dont know what to do. I wanted to quit at the end of next week, but I think I'll hold out until September. Then again, I may not quit at all.

I am tired of being "boss' favorite"--I cant handle that--there is too much pressure to be perfect. Nothing I do will ever be good enough--not in his eyes, but mine. I am always afraid of disappointing him. He's a good man and the last thing I want is to disappoint him or hurt him in any way.
I am tired of constantly getting harassed because I get less hours than others. I get less hours because I don't have to work yet. I'm only seventeen! (Not kidding for those who didn't know)I don't have a baby to raise or a family to support. The others are full-blown adults (all but one, who's a year younger, but she's in the same situation as the others) who NEED a job to put food on the table and support their children. I am actually doing you guys a favor!
The job is not mentally stimulating, is too emotionally stressful, and if you dont like someone, TOUGH! You have to ride hours with them sniping and complaining that you dont have to work like they do or that you have more hours than them or that your seat is in their lap. I am the type who tries to tolerate everyone, but in order to do that, I have to be able to get away from you. In order to do this, I have taken up the unfortunate habit of bringing a book and my IPod to inventories with me just to drown out the b*****s.
I am sick of the drugs.

On the other side, I love my job; that it takes me to different places, that I get to see new stores I didnt even know existed. I love the machines we use and learning about them. Seems like every time I get a moment to play with one, I learn something new!
I want to learn to run stores. It seems a bit monotonous, sitting at the control desk, watching everybody else count, but it's something new.
I love counting grocery stores. Period.
I havent even made it a year.
I just got raised to a specialist (second-level auditor, there are four levels).


So, basically, I'm torn. I'll still likely quit come September--school and what.
I do love my job, and MOST of the people there. Some of the stuff I want to get away from (gossip, drugs) is everywhere. I'll never get away from it, but perhaps, in a new job, the gossip wont be so personal because it wont be about my own mother.

I need to be home for my senior year--my last year with my family before I go to college--not working every weekend. I think that will be the biggest reason I quit.



Sorry to those of you nice enough to read my complaints. At least I'm not suicidal, right?

I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

I cried. It was amazing, though. Some bits were off, but that's the closest I've ever seen a HP film to the movie since SS. Gambon, in his final film, FINALLY accurately portrayed Dumbledore, though he is no Richard Harris, who played him in the first two films. RIP RH; RIP Dumbledore.

This is definitely a must-buy for the HP fans of the world, and it gives me hope for DH.

Definitely the best film of the series.
My mom and dad, who have never read the books, say the movie ended wrong. It ended exactly as the book did. They now know why I was going to throw it across the room.
