so it occurred to me that i almost never wright a blog, so probably the few people who do pay attention to me on DA probably don't get to know much about me. it also occurred to me that i do have something to write about. well, here is:

seems as tho things are getting more and more expensive. college is no exception. even with 5000 worth of financial aid and 5k more in fed loans is still not enough with this place. if there's one thing i know to tell my kids someday, it's try not to be out of state when it comes to your choice in universities. it's bad enough that my grandmother even suggested that i quit here and finish my studies back home in Illinois. that certainly would be much less expensive, but then i wouldn't be able to see or hang out with my friends here in Columbia. And Mizzou has grown on me here.

One thing i could do tho is see my adviser for more possible financial aid choices, like a scholarship in computer science or something. i've already taken off my meal plans to shop on my own more, cause i'm convinced that i can shop for food that costs half the cost of what they think you should on campus. it'd be cheaper to eat at Macdonald's everyday.

suppose that's my rant for the day this time.

so anyway, i got computer science stuff going on right now, test tomorrow that i need to study for and all. i need to get more accustomed to Avid as well. i think that this is finally the major that i want to be good at, and it's just a matter of overcoming overcoming myself's limitations.

Gimp skills improving slightly, i just don't think it's up to speed yet to actually make a complex scene like a lake side view (like lake Hylia). i also have a scanner now, so if i ever made something (and i made something during summer) to scan and put on here there's something i can do by hand now. also have some photography pics i may want to put up

so anyways, i've started to play mario cart on the DS. it is fun. i can see why sophie likes it so much. and now we just rented Mario cart for the wii now. but we only have it for 2 more days so i'll have to play it so i can get a feel for it. i think i might want to do some art maybe, so if anyone wants any requests or something, just say so.

in the mean time, i'm going to start studying computers and start a new chapter this fall in school

ah, and i have access to ssbb and a wii now. so if anyone wants to play me or anything, let me know

happy new year and merry Christmas to all my friends in United Kingdom. hope it isn't too cold up there right now.

also, for my future refrence, i have to take a look at those sprites and backround DF, find a way to link music to this site, and balance school all at the same time.

let's see here now.. happy birthday to ash. i know i missed it.. i think.. but happy 21st all the same. i don't know where he lives exactly, so i don't know how the drinking laws are where he lives. but if they are about the same in the US, then i hope you were at least halfway to drunk out of your mind and having fun with friends.
