in other news, i had the best thursday ever! i got to go see mindless self indulgence in concert. it was all shades of awesome. i got the lead singer (jimmy) and the drummer (kitty) to sign my arm-band-socky-dealie. and i got numerous kisses from jimmy

i don't usually write in this thing, but i can't sleep again and i'm really angry right now, so i figured i'd give it a try!

ok, so here's whats going on: jason, my boyfriend and other best friend of nearly 3 years got his tongue pierced while in france (good for you, love). i was needless to say, quite excited. however just tonight, his big scary conservative mother found out. so, she screamed and made a big deal, and said several things that are a little harsh to say to your own son. and in the end, she wants it out. jason and i are both, needless to say, quite upset.

my mother also found out. oi vey, here's where i really get irate. so she tells my 13 yr old brother (also know as my trusty informant or alex) that jason did a very bad thing, and my brother should never do a bad thing like that jason. of course when alex found out what that bad thing was, he reacted with more of a "so what?". so, my mother proceeds to tell about how we've been going out way too long for being the age that we are. and that they are aparrently pushing for me to break up with him, because a long term relationship isn't good for you and nether is 'that boy' who would go out and do such terrible things as get his tongue pierced. well, mom and dad, thats lovely. but, um... how do i put this nicely? ...oh yes, SCREW YOU. YOU CAN PRY HIM OUT OF MY COLD DEAD FINGERS IF YOU WANT HIM OUT OF MY LIFE THAT BADLY. FUCK YOU, HE'S MY DECISION, *NOT* YOURS.

....sorry to have brought you all in on my own problems, but my family doesn't talk about their problems so i have to talk to someone. comment if you feel the need to add to my argument or console or something like that.
