We got a new kitty! She's not really a kitten anymore, but she's still really cute! Her name is Lily, and I can already tell that she's really smart and curious! And we were told it would take a while for her to get used to us, but she's already nuzzling my hand! I just hope she does okay when she meets our other cat...and our three chickens...

And apparently I'm getting a car soon? Prolly something like a Toyota Corola or a Kia Rio, but I don't really care as long as it's not white. I can't stand white cars!

Also there are 10 video games that are coming out between now and 2010, and the total cost will be around $400. Gahhhhhhh I will list them regardless.

Anemone cosplay is practically finished, though I need a wig and accessories and some hand-sewing.

Yeah this journal is pointless but it beats History notes any day! Whoo-hoo! So I'm going to keep going. I've got 2.5 weeks of real school left until Finals and AP testing! I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. But Fanime comes right after, so I'll go with good! I've been working on my cosplay, but lately I've been way distracted by Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility and Avalon Code. Both amazing games. Anyway, pretty much done with Anemone costume, but I've got to fine-tune it and I'm way too lazy to do that over dating pixels on my TV screen.

As for the rest of life, for some reason I don't really have any passion to do the things I normally love. Like rock climbing. And sewing. And language study. And drawing. So here I sit procrastinating and really not doing anything enjoyable (can't video game now, parents are using the TV). I guess I'm off-season PMS-ing? idkkkkk but I want it to go awaaaaaayyyyyy

Why am I typing all this, you ask? Well it's because I wanted to stay more in touch with you guys! (Among other things)

But despite all my complaining, YCL HAS STARTED YAY CLIMBING COMPETITIONS! There was only 4 other people in my age group, so I think I did really good compared to them. And I guess if there are really only 5 of us, then we're all going to get ribbons and medals!

The next comp is on my birthday! 2/7~

Anyway, Monday I caught a cold and I felt crappy.

Tuesday was election day, and from 6 am to 9:30 pm I worked the polls for my district. was there though, which made it more fun. C: Then at ~8 something my mom called up to tell me that Obama won Florida, and I rejoiced. Also had to miss rock climbing that day. My cold worsened.

Wednsday I found out that prop 8 passed, banning gay marriage in California, and negating any previous same-sex marriages. I was pretty depressed that day.

Thursday I finally got to go rock climbing, and I did a bunch (by that I mean 2) of lead climbing without wimping out. Still had my cold, but things were going pretty good. Then I fell while bouldering and sprained my ankle. Whoo.

Friday (today!) my ankle hurt a bunch in the morning, but got better with advil. I can put some weight on it now and I can kind of hobble around, which is a pretty good sign. Cold is still pretty bad, and with everything that's been going on I was spacing out through all my classes.

For some reason I was also feeling really antisocial today too. Usually when I feel crappy talking to people makes me feel better, but today I didn't want to talk to anyone at all, or even do anything. Even the offering of ice cream didn't really help.

Hopefully I'll feel better after the 4-day weekend.

Um. It's probably pretty obvious, but I'm about to rant. So please excuse me and this journal.

Anyway, today I was at climbing and I was TOTALLY READY to send this one climb. I failed the first two times, but I got myself mentally prepared and all psyched up and told myself that I'm not a failure and that I do in fact deserve to exist. I had pretty much convinced myself of this, so I got on the climb. Since I'm too lazy to go back and edit stuff from before, I'll mention now that I've been working on this climb for a long time now, and I'm leading it since my coaches love me like that. D=

Anyway, I had to convince myself of all this because I can totally do the climb and I've done it on a top rope, but it's become something of a psychological thing now.

So yeah, I had started the climb and I was doing really awesome! I was getting all the clips and I was focusing on the part I was at, not the part I was afraid of falling at. I got past the crux smoothly and then got the last clip. I was getting way excited because there was only like two moves left until the finish. I was worried about the second to last hold but it caused me no problems and I grabbed the last hold! A bunch of other people on the team were watching and they cheered and stuff. I was super excited too--I had finally finished it!

Then, of course, before I clipped the anchors I fell. I mean, what the hell?! I had finished the damn climb, why couldn't I have just put my arm over the side and clipped the goddamn anchors?! Since I didn't do that I guess the climb didn't count, so now I have to do it all over again.

And this, beloved watchers, is why I hate myself. I hate myself for letting go, I hate myself for never being able to follow anything through, I hate myself for not trusting and believing in myself to actually be able to get things done. I hate myself for crying over these things.

I'm so weak. I hate it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I always think everything I do sucks, I have no confidence, and even when I have people cheering me on it doesn't do any good.

And now look t me. I'm posting a stupid, angtsy journal so all of you can pity me and then I can feel better. I'm the worst.

They are AMAZING and AWESOME and they WEREN'T OLD MEN. YESSSSSSS
So we met in Japantown, since that's like a half-way point for us, and we fangasmed! Mostly about Nabari no Ou but other stuff too! Like Mudkips. Now I have a Mudkip figurine. BEAT THAT FOOLS.

And then we bought crepes. Or rather we went to get crepes but then they had root beer floats and I had a VERY BERRY SUNDAE. It was very berry. Yessssss

And and and I bought a pen. Or rather, a pencil and a pen. A PEN-CIL. Yes. For it is a pencil, a black pen, AND a red pen. ALL IN ONE. YESSSS. ANDANDAND BANANA FOLDER. ELITE BANANA FOLDER.

And purikuraaaaaa was so great. It was like OBJECTION and and....dorkieness but I had SO MUCH FUN LETS DO IT AGAIN GAAAAAAIIIIIIZZZZ

In other news, I've been working part-time at my rock climbing gym for over a month now! I think I'll be getting my very first paycheck soon! ^o^ It's all very exciting. Well....uh....no one claimed it. That made me feel loved. So I guess I'll set it to 2100! So GET ME A SCREENSHOT AND SEND IT TO MEEEEE PLEASE! Yay.

And god damn. Some lame ass person stole my wallet during school today. It sucks because I don't know who did it, but I know everyone who could've done it. Knowing that someone you go to class with everyday just stole your cash is such an unpleasant feeling. I was hoping that the human race (or at least teenagers) had the respect and prudence for me to be able to leave my bag on the other side of the room for half a class period without having anything disappear from it. I guess I was wrong.

The wallet was later found on the floor of the girl's bathroom and was then returned to me. Without my money. Fortunately my gift cards, train tickets, receipts, and that card that lets me access my bank account were all there. It was only ~$30 that was stolen, but it's less about the fact that I'm $30 shorter, and more like that there's someone that I know who has the stupidity and heartlessness to steal something of someone else's. To dig through their stuff and take their money.

And now I get to sit in class with them tomorrow...and the next day...oh yey.

...sorry. I usually hate complaining. But whatever. On a lighter note!

Err....anyway....I thought that it was about time for me to update my journal. Explain what's going on in my life and all.

Overall, things are going pretty well. I'm doing fine in school and I'm not overloaded by homework. But who writes a journal about such things? Not me. Truth is, I'm exhausted. There hasn't been a day where I wasn't fatigued since around September. Yes. That's 3 months. And no, I don't go to be at 3 in the morning like you guys. I get at LEAST 8 hours of sleep each night. And then I wake up tired. What's with that?!

Anyway, I had blood tests done today to see if I have Mono, Anemia or Thyroid, lung, or liver problems. Isn't that amazing? I should be getting the lab tests back by Friday, so until then I hope everything's okay.

In the meantime, I haven't had the energy to do anything. I even skipped rock climbing (heresy!) on Tuesday because I was so tired. Oh yeah, and cramps make it all A LOT worse. I felt so terrible during Spanish the other day, I was surprised I stayed awake at all. Okay, that's a lie. But you get the idea.

So, as you can see, I'm not doing to well. But despite that, I'm going to do the best on my art for everyone. Here's a little list of future works to look forward to!

1) Colored version of the revised crap I submitted earlier.
2) Art trade with Lyurri (Ly, are there any particular colors you want to see? Specifically with hair?)
3) Something Kuroshitsuji related since I promised. Eh heh heh....I have some great ideas for that.....

Oh yeah, I mentioned scanlations a while back. I actually finished them, for those who care! Unfortunately, I'm lame and thus did the first chapter of the sixth volume. You can read it, but you won't understand! ^___________^

But most of all, I want it to be all better for Halloween. I'm working pretty damn hard on my costume right now, so I better as hell be able to walk by Wednesday.

Whenever I get excited or pissed, or something like that, I feel the need to gnaw on something. I wonder how crutches taste.....

A few things about Impure Silence! I'm totally new to comic drawing, so please don't hurt me. It's a great learning experience for me though, so please bear with me. Though I can't say I don't get depressed when I read GFantasy or other manga and truly see how much I fail in comparison. Tell me whatever you like about how good I am or how I shouldn't compare myself to professional mangaka, those are just my feelings.

Other things! Scanlations for chapter 1 of book 6 of Nabari no Ou are halfway done! For the first four chapters, visit here. I'm gonna do the chapter I'm currently on, (book 7 coming out on the 27th!) then start from chapter 5. Unfortunately, I've lost the link to the providers of the raws. Any suggestions?

Actual art-wise, I'm gonna being doing a little more fan art, specifically from Nabari no Ou, since I <33333 it so. I LOVE their art. Love love love. I hope I can do it some justice. Yars.

On a light and fluffy note, I'll be uploading lots of fanime pictures and stuff, including my final costume. Fanime was a totally great experience, and I can't wait for next year. But that's about all I'll go into.

In 18 days, I'll be on a four week hiatus because I'll be at a Japanese emmersion camp in Minasota. Or however the hell you spell it. So don't mind me when I dissapear.

I've been working a lot on Chained Freedom, but not on any of the drawings. Mostly working out plot in my head. But there'll be an update on that soon, I promise! (Or maybe I shouldn't promise....)

I could write about a lot more, but I don't want to bore you guys like I must've with the long rant in my previous journal entry.

I'm afraid that I won't have time for much art for the next two weeks because I have finals, but please bear with me! I have four weeks of straight art afterwards, so look forward to it! Last time I had one of those my art made a signifigant jump, so I'm looking forward to it a lot. But I'm also really looking forward to it because it means I won't have to go to school. School is usually something I don't mind, but since the beginning of this semester I can't seem to stand it. I often get tired at random points, go onto weird appetite schedules and occasionally get breif periods of depression. I don't really understand it myself but I wish I could be the happy person people see me as. Or perhaps I'd rather those people to realize that no, I'm not happy 24/7. They seem to think that they understand what I'm like better than I do. I wish they would go away and I could have my friends from middle school back. I know I need to get over that, but I can't help but think how little I connect to my friends at my new school.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be working on my final assesment for Biology rright now, but I can't focus on writing about something as dull as cellular respiration. Ha ha. Breathing. How exciting. I'd rather be memorizing my speech that I have to recite some time next week. Oh yes. Final assesment for English and history is a heavily-graded persuasive speech that I have to give in front of 30-ish people. And a few teachers. And anyone else who wants to watch. When I had to recite a minute of it in front of the class, I knew it really well but I kept shifting my weight aroung and my leg was shaking.About five people said "oh yeah, you were good, but you were shifting your weight." One guy went far enough to start teasing me in between classes, saying "sway, sway, sway, sway," I wanted to kill him so bad. Nothing gets through to that guy. Not other peoples wishes, feelings, even his own pain. I can't believe I'm in every class with him. I can't believe people want us to go out. I can't believe he's there every single lunch period in the corner where I eat with my friends. I wish he'd feel pain. Even just once. I wonder why I'm like this now. I used to only want to be friends. I used t obe the non-aggressive one. Is it being a teenager? Is it growing up? Is it hormones? Whatever it is, I don't like it.

Sorry to anyone who read this rant, but I need to get this kind of stuff off my chest every once and a while.

In other news, the dress that I'll be using as the base for my cosplay of chii arrived in the mail the other day. It's a little big but that's better than being too small. A fabric store I like will be having a sale soon so I'll be heading there to get some matching fabric. The dress is supposed to be white and purple-ish, but I like it black and white like it came. Stay tuned for photos! (Maybe)

Nanyways, I was reading through my art books and manga and other wonderful things like that when an idea struck me! One for a manga! I won't say anything about it yet, 'cause I dun know how good it is, but I'm looking foward to it! But now I'm in a realism fix! I can't stop drawing all realistically! Anime style is now paining me. It's so sad....but happy! Especially when I discovered the homemade blending stump! Paper towels are now my friend. ^^

Don't leave me alone with a white suface, a pencil, and a papertowel or the like. You'll get the MASS AMOUNTS of art that I've been doing as of late. People think I'm insane. Either mentally, or at art. It bugs me. I gotta carry around some masterpiece that isn't mine to use as comparison.
