One simple one.

A sketch every day.

As of January 5th, I have 5. Only 360 to go.

Thor is the first of these, will be adding Mario, Giant Man, and others later... I plan to put up all 365 on this site, and maybe make a sketchbook out of them.

New Art!

Where to find it, you ask? Some of it will be coming here! But much of it will be on the new

[link]
and
[link]

Me and my partner in crime, Jon-Michael, will be updating DAILY for at least the next 14 weeks, if not longer!

Mondays: Our current highlight feature is the eponymous "Ground Floor", chronicling the adventures of our crazy gang here on the floor.
Tuesdays: Do you like adventure? Do you like explosions? For the next 25 weeks, we're running "The Explosive Adventures of Bob!"
Wednesdays: Come hang out with the bizarre "Floorlings" every Wednesday for the next few months! Darn tootin'!
Thursdays: Every Thursday we offer an extra "Ground Floor" comic, free of charge! What a deal!
Fridays: We end the working week with a showcase of pin-ups, puzzles, and paper dolls! No, seriously!
Saturdays: Saturdays, we sleep in and rebroadcast the classic "Red Pixel Vs. Blue Pixel" all year long!
Sundays: Every Sunday, a new sketch picked up from the scrap pile - some great, some… not so great, all for you to enjoy!

We started this week, and we have enough material for a guaranteed 14 weeks with no interruptions - and we're just 5 comics away from having 18 solid weeks! Renjam is our main site with comic-organized archives and in-depth content, while ComicGenesis is our 'new reader friendly' site, where you can catch up from day one! Comics will come and go over the next few months - we see this as a rotating anthology of comic art - and if you're interested in contributing either writing or art (or, depending on the circumstances, both), PM me! No promises made, but we'd love to hear from you!

Later!

So what's the deal with Trolls on Deviant Art? You'd think an artist's forum would be relatively free of them, but it seems like 3/4 comments are not critiquing, but insulting! "Find a prettier model!" is not a critique, and last time I checked, beauty was subjective. I know not many people will read this (though I may post some more pictures to increase traffic), but this is frankly ridiculous. If you need to dampen someone's spirits, go tell your friends the stuff you tell the people here. If you think someone's work needs improvement, tell them how, don't say it "sux". BE THOUGHTFUL IN YOUR COMMENTS. So many people here make me angry with the insensitive crap they say. ALSO: YOU ARE NOT THE SOLE DEFINER OF WHAT IS AND IS NOT ART, AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHETHER THEIR WORK FITS INTO YOUR DEFINITION. I came here from Renderosity because I saw more variety and interesting work, especially in photography, and wanted to get more stock photos. But while Renderosity can be childish sometimes, DeviantArt seems to be hostile place, especially for pencillers and photographers. Don't look at it if you don't want to. And don't comment unless you have something thoughtful to say.

Rant over.
