Just an update - I'll be turning 18 on thursday this week!!! (in 2 days) :party:

To guys, this age signifies a VERY important milestone of our lives - when we turn into young adults!! (..or, can be CALLED young adults XD)

Other 'benefits' include:

University. Well, what can I say?

In two words: It's hunky....dory (three words, sorry xD)

I just finished my 9th day at the University of Auckland today, and nearing completion of two weeks, and ALREADY, there have been like hundreds of opportunities thrown at my face!! :omg:

OMgosh seriously, it is a completely different experience than college was!! University rules. It rocks too, and I LOVE it!! :love: Just found out today that I became Student Representative for my business class of like 200 people, and ohh I'm going to have soo much fun!!! (abuse of power mwuahahaa~~~ :evillaugh: )

But the best part is all those free stuff they give you O_o. Like, for signing up to stuff, you get free hotdogs, wall planners, diaries, pizza, all for FREE!! :iconiloveyouplz:

So today was Japan day in NZ, and there was a fair near my place, and boy it was fun! =D
There were like tonnes of food stalls (yummm) selling Japanese food like sushi, squid rolls and snails (jokes ^^)

There was a little game where if you managed to succeed in the "ball-in-the-cup" game, you could get a free prize! I JUST managed to get it in on my second try, so I was like, :iconspartaplz: "YES!!". For my prize, I got this mini, cute (chibi =P) version of the ball-in-the-cup game!!...which doesn't work because the ball is superglued to the handle :cries:

There were many many asian people there too, from Korea, China, Japan, you name it. All in all it was a fun, relaxing time and I think my stress has finally evaporated to quite an extent now :)

Well...when I was 3 our family came to New Zealand from Seoul, and ever since I have been living here. We did have some difficulty adjusting to a new culture, but in the end we made it through the tough times.

Well, the first ever art lesson I had was when I was 12 in college, I did art for like half a year. LOL XD I failed the final art exam back then, but I deserved it ><...coz everyday me and my friends just did silly things in art and yeah...were just being ordinary kids ^^

-Cartoon addiction?

Pokemon. Dragonball Z. Digimon.
Ahh...the good old days when there were just 150 pokemon, and Digimon was actually fun to watch =D
I remember recording Pokemon/DBZ episodes and watching them with my bro over and over again...FUN!! When I watch pokemon now, I cant help but let out a *sigh*. Of course it's most likely just me, but there are just too many pokemon now, plus all these random characters being introduced just makes me dizzy @_@.

-Game?

LOL the gameboy colour just came out when I was in primary (7 years old ^^). I remember taking it to school along with Pokemon Yellow, and *gasp* losing them!! OMG I got in so much trouble from my parents, but the thing that really got me was that I spent months training my Pokemon to become stronger!! Now they're gone!! ALL GONE~~~ ><

I'm currently in my final year in college, and in a few weeks, I'll be facing the final exams which will determine my future. As much as I love dA and the many nice people on it (you guys ^^), these exams are crucial, and unfortunately, I cannot let dA distract me =(

*sigh*...getting older sucks...

..hehe well, I've had alot of fun till now (I've been on dA for 2 months now =D). I've met so many great people and even made my own little characters~!!:love:

When I first joined on June 8th, I wasn't expecting to meet someone who would have such a great impact on me. When I joined, I just wanted to post up my Fosters sketches and send them to my friends around NZ. However, on the second or third day, a person with a strange name made a comment on my page, saying "Hello! I LOVE fosters, I'm a HUGEEE polish fan ^^". I thought, 'Wow, Polish people watch Fosters!?', and just went on my way. Now, she's one of the most friendly and amazing friends I have on dA. Want to know why? Because even when there were times when she was feeling sad, she never failed to give comments which made you happy :aww:. She takes time to give other fellow members gifts. (She gave me many gift drawings when I didn't give something first). AND she uploads like 5 PICTURES like EVERYDAY!!!:omg: (just joking =P~) I would miss dA to pieces if there were more people like her...

Ruby was the first person to add me as a friend :cuddle: She commented on most of my drawings until now, and the thing which surprised me most was that she would NEVER give negative feedback :aww:. Even on not-so-good drawings, she would step in, give a comment and instantly make the drawer happy. (she cheered me up many many times when I myself was feeling down ^^)

Ruby.....thanks for being such an awesome friend, and cheering me up when I was feeling sad. Did you know that I had thoughts of quitting dA within a week of joining? However, you changed that, and now I'm so happy here:aww:

Story: He has no family, due to the war when he was just 8. He has no money, but he is happy, anyway:aww:. He likes to walk around the world of Neverhood with his best friend Bluey, playing pranks on others and just having fun:cuddle:

Story: When Mac imagined Bloo, no-one knew that another friend was born. This is probably due to Mac only playing with Bloo, and no-one noticed that Bluey was born:worry:. Bluey, who was very sad and lonely, was walking around the city when he accidently stepped on a portal, which instantly took him to the world of Neverhood. More will be explained about their relationship in future comics, so don't worry~!!:w00t:

Lately I've been thinking, which of these two types of pencils let you draw cartoons more easily? A normal pencil? Or a lead pencil?:?

I used to draw using a lead pencil, but these days I changed to using a normal pencil. For some reason, using a normal pencil causes less mistakes, letting me finish my drawing quicker. Quality is basically the same, too.

Which type of pencil do you guys use for sketches/drawings?

me here again,

I was just watching some Fosters Home episodes the other day and thought to myself, "Which episodes would my AWESOME friends at dA like most?"=D

Well, here are my fave episodes and why I like them~~~

1. Affair Weather Friends.
-Why? Because everything is perfect about this episode. Bloo is his normal, selfish self again, BUT he is SOOOO CUTE in this episode~!!:love:(you'll have to see to believe=P)
-Why? Because the story is excellent. And Berry's back~!!!:evillaugh:
-Why? Because Duchess's role truly shines in this episode. "Well if I had to GUESS....." See it for yourself=P

2. Adoptcalypse Now
-Why? We get to see another side of Bloo's character here. Well, you could argue that he was still being selfish and rescuing the friends so that he can play with them and stuff, but still, I'd say he was doing it to rescue them from would-be "evil" or "uncaring" adopters:omg:
-Why? My favourite scene is in this episode. Yep, you guessed it~!! BLOO DANCING~!!!!=D=D=D OMG i felt like a kid again, cheering for Bloo~!!:boogie::dance:

3. House of Bloo's
-Why? Because this is how it all started. This episode shows us how Mac and Bloo first found out about the Fosters Mansion.
-Why? Has 3 of the best "Intense" sequences you can see in Fosters episodes. That is, the chase scene with that little girl in part 2, the scene with Mac trying to escape from his room to save Bloo from getting adopted by Terrence, and the scene with the Fosters team working together to destroy the extremosaurus.
-Why? Because Bloo is very lovable here as well, maybe because he isn't selfish or naughty here or something:O_o:

4. Cuckoo for Coco Cards
-Why? COME OOOOOOooooOOOOOoooooooNNN~~~~!!!!!!!! LOL:giggle:
-Why? Because it has probably one of the most heart-warming scenes in a Fosters episode. Bloo, who finally realises what a jerk he has been to Coco, apologizes to her in a never-before seen sincere manner, which is just.....amazing~=D Good on you, Bloo~!!:w00t:

I'm kinda bored so I decided to give a mini-review of both Fosters Home games available for the Nintendo DS and GBA.=D

1.FHIF Imagination Invaders (NDS)
-----------------------------------

Gameplay -
Well, being a HUGE Fosters fan, I was expecting something really cool in a Fosters game, however, I was disappointed=(.
Firstly, you can only move, jump and spit as Bloo. No pranks, hardly any company (you only see friends who are vital to the games progression=(). This sucks.
Secondly, the missions (6 missions in total) are so repetitve and stupid that I gave up on the 4th mission out of sheer boredom. You have to go around the house (ONLY 1 level of the house at any given mission) and repeatedly knock over stuff like vases and boxes. All this just to find some dolls and flowers!! And the worst thing is, there are hundreds of 'useable' objects which you HAVE to use in order to find what you're looking for.=(
PLUS the minigames are so stupid and repetitive that, well, I wont get there=(

3/10

Sound -
Well obviously, you get a few voice clips of Bloo, Mac etc throughout the whole game. Thats it.
Also, obviously, the music basically revolves around the music you hear from the episodes.

5/10

Graphics -
Nintendo DS games in my opinion have cute, likeable graphics. Not too great, not too bad. However, this games graphics are just average, even though it's in 3D, theres nothing special.
Another thing worth mentioning here is the camera. When you move left or right with Bloo (yes, you can ONLY control Bloo) you only see like a few metres before you, so if you sprint, theres a chance you could bump into an enemy, which sucks=(

OVERALL SCORE= 4.5/10

Not really the game for me, but if you like wandering around the house, even without any company around, go and buy it=P

2. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (GBA)
----------------------------------------------

Gameplay -
It's a 2D platformer, so there isn't anything special here. Basically you go around the whole house collecting stuff and dodging obstacles (like Bendy, who chucks stuff at you). The ONLY thing worth doing is sliding down the stair railings and doing slide combos, which I think is more fun than the rest of the game=P.
The minigames are OK, but aren't special in any way.

Sound -
No voices in this game. Only the occasional beep and blip. The music is OK, but can get annoying due to it's repetitiveness.

3.5/10

Graphics -
LOL well, they are quite cute, and you can actually recognize the characters~!!:wow: Nothing special, though=(

5/10

OVERALL = 5/10

I think it's more fun than the NDS one, but if I had to choose one, I would choose a beef sandwich instead.=(

Well, as you can see, these two games did not exceed let alone reach my expectations, which I am deeply disappointed about. Fosters is about fun and pranks, and helping your friends in need (in a creative manner, NOT searching the whole house for soap or 10 dolls).

Well, I came FIRST out of ALL 66 people who entered, out of ALL catergories (instrumental, dance, singing, modelling etc) and received a $180 cash prize. Thats right, $180~!!!!:boogie::dance::boogie:

AND they offered me a FREE Ferrari................ride!=P

LOL and my performance wasn't even great due to my "nail problems" :O_o: I guess someone loves me up there:evillaugh:

ANYWAY, right after I returned home, I cut all my nails (coz classical guitar needs long nails:XD:) and thought I didn't have to perform again.

BUT, today during classtime, I received a note saying that I needed to see the music department head. So I went, and you can guess what happened.=(

Thats right, apparently all finalists MUST perform in front of the WHOLE school the next morning (2600 ppl:O_o:) and we weren't even told about it beforehand.

I obviously tried and tried to tell the head that I couldn't play tomorrow morning, but that stick-in-the-mud is forcing me to perform, repeatedly saying "You'll be fine". :nirvana:

Oh yeah? HOW can I be fine without nails to play the guitar? Would a pianist be fine performing in front of almost 3000 people with a broken finger the day before?

Sorry for the sudden negativeness, but I just can't believe what happened=(=(=(
I'll fill you guys in on what happens tomorrow morning, that is, if everything goes alright=)

Well..one of the main reasons was due to the fact that my fave cartoonist, Craig McCracken, the creator of the best ever cartoon, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, joined too! =o

btw, I'm taking requests from anyone who wants a picture related to fosters (or whatever cartoon, it'll be in my style of art though ><;). just drop me a line and i'll get it finished within a day or two!!
