guys, please beware of the new modus operandi among robbers. they pass themselves off as policemen and come up to you and accuse you of stealing, so they can go through your bag. if this happens, either call a security guard or make a commotion, just don't let that "officer" be alone with you. if he wants to go through your bag, make him do it where people can see--as witnesses. NEVER EVER let him guide you somewhere that is not crowded. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT LET HIM RUMMAGE THROUGH YOUR THINGS. you can ask for a search warrant or a badge or ID confirming he is a police officer.

or better yet, don't take notice of him when he tries to get your attention. IF HE IS IN CIVILIAN ATTIRE and passing himself of as an officer, walk straight ahead and DO NOT TAKE NOTICE OF HIM. he will eventually shut up because otherwise he'd be making a scene. MAKE AS MUCH COMMOTION AS POSSIBLE. even when he pretends to talk to someone in a nearby store or the waiter in a restaurant, DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. ask the waiter/waitress if he/she knows the person. go to the local police station and have your bag searched there if really necessary.

guys, im serious about this one. this morning i myself was a victim of this operation. i was on my way to school and was waiting for a cab when this guy comes up to me and accuses me of stealing P10,000 from his niece, and asked if he could rummage through my things. he guided me to the 2nd floor of jollibee where there were no people to witness what was to happen next. he pretended to know a waiter to get my trust. he opened my bag RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and took out my wallet, he counted my money, folded it and put it right back in. then he took my phones and put it in my bag so thati couldn't call any accomplices. then he heads back down to call his niece. HE NEVER CAME BACK. when i checked my bag, MY MONEY AND PHONES WERE GONE. he has quick hands, and unless you have a trained eye, you will not notice that he takes your possessions right under your nose.

today, i lost 2 cell phones plus P2,500 in cold cash bringing the estimated amount of loss to give or take P15,000. please do not alow yourself to become a victim like me. remember what our parents constantly tell us since childhood-- NEVER TALK TO STRANGERS.

i hope you guys don't fall into the same trap. share this to everyone you know, so no one else falls for this. because next time, it could be more than just robbery. next time, it could be MURDER.

ok so last wednesday Educ won against BA in a volleyball game (kahit by default lang. hahaha.) so to celebrate, me and my aunt ordered out Yellow Cab. so we ordered a 9-inch (small, i know) pizza with 8 slices, plus a pint of ice cream for each of us.

but the lady on the phone said it would take about 45 minutes before we could get it, and i was already hungry. so i cooked some mac n cheese (yum...) good for 2 people.

and i ate it all. ((=

just when i finished my mac n cheese, the pizza and ice cream came.. so i had 4 slices of pizza, plus a pint of ice cream and a few glasses of water..

so in summary, in one sitting, i was able to eat: mac and cheese (2 helpings), 4 slices of pizza, a pint of ice cream, and about 4 glasses of water.

those who have not seen me eat will have a hard time believing this. ((=

talk about pigging out, eh? ((=

reminds me of the time back in 4th year HS when our thesis was accepted. we went to celebrate at a local pizza parlor. there were 4 of us, and we each had 3 slices (long slices) of pizza, a burger, 1 serving of french fries (with cheese), plus a tall glass of soda. i think i was the first to finish, with Michael (Perez) right next. or was it Michael and then me? oh well, whichever, anyway, Michael said "Si Macky, parang lalaki kumain." ("Macky eats like a guy.")

hahahaha. i like to eat, end of story. ((=

P.S. i'm eating mac n cheese again. ((=

ive been really busy these past days.. like today, tuesday, i had a term paper to submit, plus an exam to review for (which practically felt useless after the exam), and the surprise birthday paty i had planned for my friend.

i ordered a commission from *blackmage9 and gave it to my friend as a birthday present, as well as a caramel chiffon cake from estrel's... yumm......

and although everything didn't go according to plan, she still appreciated the entire thing. i covered her eyes and led her down the corridor and when i removed my hands, in front of her was a cake with a candle, and a commission by *blackmage9 with the birthday messages of her close friends written all around it.

i'm confused about a lot of things at the moment.

1.) getting back together with my ex.

i do want to get back together with him. but i keep thinking of what'll happen after. we get back together again, then what? we last for, i dunno, 1 or 2 months again? so we just stay together for as long as he still has "the feeling"? that doesn't seem right. i'm not some doll he can just pick up and throw away, only to be picked up again when he wants to. he said he's making careful decisions this time as to whether he should take the risk of getting back together with me, because he says he doesn't want to hurt me again. thanks for the concern, dude, but damage has already been done. by the way, keep those thoughts to yourself next time, and break up only when you are really absolutely sure you want out. got it?

so. should i get back together with him or not?

2.) shifting to Film.

i really want to go to Film. my friends and family agree that i have talent, a raw gift, especially when it comes to pictures, but as i check out other deviant artists on deviantart.com, i see the kind of talent that's out there. i suddenly don't feel so sure about shifting anymore. a lot of people are really good out there, will i take the harsh beating of the competition out there? but then again, no matter how good a person is, there is always someone better, and the "best" don't necessarily remain so.

but still, is it worth the risk?

3.) joining the UP Women's Volleyball Varsity Team

among all my sports--badminton, table tennis, soccer, judo, basketball, swimming, volleyball, and taekwondo-- i excel more in: volleyball and taekwondo, but mostly in volleyball. but that was then, back in highschool. i made up 50% of the school's spikers and overhead servers for the women's division. i won the MVP for women's volleyball during the first semester of my ROTC--during the sportsfest. but i can see that college volleyball is different. i've experienced training with the women's basketball team, and boy was i exhausted. would i be able to keep up with the training? would i be good enough for the team? or would i just be somewhere in the middle--not bad but not good either?

am i good enough for the team?

damn it. i can't be thinking about these! i have an exam tomorrow!

i can't help but be confused.

help, anyone?

well, today is feb 15, the day after valentines. no flowers, no chocolates, no nothing, same as every year for the past 16 years. december last year, i thought that would change, because i finally had a boyfriend then. imagine how disappointed i was when 1 month 3 weeks later he breaks up with me. 3 days before our monthsary, almost 2 weeks before valentine's day.

good thing friends are always there. i spent my valentine's day at the UP Fair with my orgmates from UP Grip. i helped them watch over the booth and belay the people who wanted to try a hand at wall climbing. we set-up a climbing wall in the fair, right next to the stage. so i had a blast anyway. Orange and Lemons (an popular boy band here in the Philippines) rocked with us as we were belaying. got a few ropeburns though.

but it was fun because we all had laughtrips. like there was this one customer who was so heavy, i was rising off the ground even though someone was already anchoring (holding) me to the ground. see, the customer is attached to a harness, which is attached to a rope which goes up to the top of the wall, then back down towards the belayer. so basically, the customer is attached to a member. climbing up, the belayers don't have a problem because there's almost no pressure on him. going down, a member would sometimes have to ask somebody else to hold him if he/she thinks the customer is too heavy for him to belay.

that was my case. the dude i was belaying was like 200 lbs or so, as opposed to my 110 lbs. i was literally rising off the ground. if someone wasn't anchoring me, it probably would have been funnier; would have gone up 10 feet or more off the ground while the customer went down--fast. it was just so funny.

if i had to sacrifice by having ropeburns to have a blast during valentine's at the fair, i would. and i did.

stupid henna tattoo artist wasn't good though. at least the one i got. i've been trying all night to get the ugly tattoO off. i picked a good pattern, he just didn't make it come out right. it was out of proportion, it was skewed, and the paTtern was just entirely wrong. it was horrible.

to those who get tattoos, both fake and real--GET A GOOD TATTOO ARTIST.

anyhoo, i think i've said enough--HAPPY HEART'S DAY TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!!!! <3
