Two weeks ago, my partner and I moved to Portland, OR. I knew some sort of move was coming as early as March when Mike's old studio let their entire staff go following the completion of The Ant Bully. As I didn't have a stable income either, I couldn't concentrate at all with our future so uncertain.

Fortunately,Mike got a job at an upcoming studio called Laika, and we're in the process of getting settled in to our new city. So far, I love it! We're still living out of a hotel, and will be until the beginning of next month. Now that we know where we'll be living, I will probably have to find some sort of full-time job. Freelance is too unreliable. Despite losing my extra free time, I hope tol have the energy to be more productive now that a major psychic block will be out of the way.
