I loved Spain. Cool people, beautiful places. Was too busy looking with my own eyes so i did not take too many photos.. got some noodles from the road though! The top 3 things for me were the Oceanografico in Valencia, the drive from Barcelona to Madrid (feels a bit like the Grand Canyon) and of course the Prado / Thyssen-Bornemisza combo. Count the Mucha expo and buying a new guitar as a personal bonus. We went through Italy and returned via Munich so we've seen some nice stuff on the way too.

Can't write more, got to clean the mess in my room.

The inhabitants of Flatland are lines and polygons living in a flat plane. The men are all polygons, generally each with one side more than his father had. The more sides a polygon has the greater status he has in society. Women, on the other hand, are all straight-line segments. That means they have little status. However, since a line cannot be seen edge-on and is thinner than a knife, can easily stab and injure men--intentionally or not--so they are very dangerous. Being dangerous gives them some power. We see this Flatland through the eye (singular) of the lawyer aptly named A Square.

No movie involving a merciless hired killer, a bag with 2mil $ and 3 brutal murders each in a different scene over just 2 minutes right at the beginning deserves the honor of being considered a good movie. It might be good gore action stuff for redneck idiots.. But don't give it an Oscar ffs! Even if it's perfectly filmed and edited. That's just technical crap from people who know their trade.

And don't give an Oscar to the guy who played the killer.. it's bad taste again. Anyone can play that guy.. just look at my face if i meet some ' pauvre con' in the jury!

I played the movie (yes, downloaded xvid) on my secondary screen while burning DVD-s on my main. I was amazed to see that i was like 'Boring, let's unRAR that thing' while some guy had his neck cut and spraying blood. Is this the average sensibility of the modern man ? Is it a violent world we live in ? No.. we're violent. You're violent.

FUCK OFF!

So yes... EVERY MOVIE SHOWING DEATH ANYTIME BETWEEN THE VERY FIRST AND VERY LAST SCENE (not included i mean) SUCKS. It's just poor taste. And i said death, not murder. Any death.

Not being a die-hard fan of Muse (it's too harsh for my ears) i took the show in without being able to name the songs and not knowing the lyrics.. but they still rocked like crazy.

But what i really want to shout about is this guy: Brett Anderson. Amazing songs, great voice and style. Falls somewhere along with Coldplay, Placebo and obviously Suede with cellos on top.. I simply loved his performance and he definitely deserves your attention if you don't know his solo stuff already.
