Chapter 9 - A Wedding To Remember

And...random character quiz...

Morgan, because he wouldn't be as incompetent at it like the pretty prince boy. XD And he would SO totally teach theatre or some sort of music course!

2) Alec sends Wicked on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
To get him some medecine for his lactose intolerance...and knowing the Ironic Overpowers, it fails spectacularly.

3) What is or would be Cinder's favourite book?
Logic For Dummies

4) Would it make more sense for Fourteen to swear fealty to Morgan, or the other way around?
Oh, gods. Um, in context, Morgan would NEVER swear fealty to Fourteen because the man is a bastard who will ultimately hurt his friends. Fourteen might swear fealty to Morgan, however, as he somewhat resembles Red.

5) For some reason, Edward (Queen of Hearts) is looking for a roommate. Should Edward (Queen of Hearts) share a studio apartment with Cinder or with Victor?
Victor. They can be total overdramatic fruits together.

6) Hunter challenges Victor to a duel. What happens?
Hunter forgets the duel; Victor ends up singing while waiting for him NOT to show up and ends up having some dragon drop something heavy on him to shut him up.

7) Suggest a title for a story in which Raddy and Alec both attain what they most desire.
Beyond the Surface

8) If Raddy visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
I would treat him with lots of attention and love, but that might scare him or put him off a bit.

9) What might Victor shout while charging into battle?
"I AM THE PHANTOM OF THE OP-OOOF!" By which point someone has put him out of his misery. XD

10) Red, Morgan, and Alec are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Red convinces Alec that there is dairy in it, so he doesn't touch it. So it's pretty much down to a fight for the scallion between Morgan and Red....Phantom vs Pirate. Both use the tactic of saying 'Wolf!' and end up both turning and, therefore, accidentally knocking the last scallion onto the floor and nobody gets it. XD

11) What would Edward (Queen of Hearts) most likely be arrested for?
Molestation.

12) What is Morgan's secret?
Errrr...if I told you, I'd spoil a good portion of the plot. XD

13) If William and Cinder were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Cinder, because his legs are longer and he doesn't spend his days lazying about.

14) Hunter and Raddy tell conflicting versions of events. Which is more reliable?
Both are rather honest men, but in terms of memory, Raddy would be more reliable.

15) Red and Cinder reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by Wolf's sinister secret organization. William volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that William is actually a spy for Wolf. Meanwhile, Wolf has kidnapped Alec in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of Edward (Queen of Hearts), they seek out Hunter, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?

A while ago Kiwi and I had a conversation about how our lovely story was suddenly growing and beginning to draw its own little group of fans and such. Eventually the topic shifted to scary things such as 'Wolf Mary-Sues', two dimensional characterization of Red and Fourteen being portrayed as a raping bastard.

.....Okay, okay, so I was the one who brought it up, but you have to admit...fanfics can be pretty damn scary when written improperly. O_o

But then, the conversation turned for the better as we started talking about crakfics...which inevitably led to crack pairings.

And so...here is the challenge project thingy....Er...pitch...

Haven't you ever wondered what would happen if a character went with 'so and so' instead of this guy here'? So have we...and so, we decided to make a little list of absolute crack pairings in Red Tales...of course...the pairings we made up weren't crack, but they made for funny comics! This project will be similar to the 'This character is' project, except with silly pairings done in a four panel-ish comic.

Sound fun? Well...here we go!

Anyways. Thank you all for your kind words. You have no idea how much they mean to a lowly little person like me. I'd grovel at your feet, but you all live so far away it'd be a bit of an inconvenience if I randomly appeared at night several hundreds/thousands of miles away from my home just to give you my gratitude...So a nice handshake through the net shall have to suffice. Second, ZOMGBBQWTF. Some hapless person actually called me yesterday for an interview today...And when I went to the interview they hired me on the spot. O_o How messed up is that? And for all the PPCers out there...I was hired based on how well I did on a grammar test...a GRAMMAR TEST. I was sure I failed it. >_> Apparently I am a grammar nazi now. Hm. Go fig.

I've never felt so terrible before. My uncle ended up humiliating me today and he got my entire family in on it. And it wasn't through like a fmaily joke you'd just laugh off awakwardly and wish no one brings up during reunions and stuff. This type of this brings me to tears. I didn't cry in front of him or anyone...I ran to my room the first chance I got. Wish I had a lock, but I can just pretend nothing exists beyond my door...

So, in my hour of sadness, I realize I have no one to run to to seek comfort. I need to someone to hold me...really, really, really badly. I need a hug...or a hand...or maybe just a smile my way...Anything would do right now.

All I have are my stuffed toys and that's just pathetic because they can't hug back. But they are all I have right now...

What am I supposed to do? My uncle made me DOUBT my friends. He made me feel useless...inadequate...stupid. Like whatever I thought didn't matter. I had to adhere to what society thought. I wanted to say 'bugger that'...wanted to scream with all my heart...But I bit my tongue...because I had already disappointed my parents once too many times...the least I could do is save them face. Not me. Them.

I'm a terrible child. A selfish one because I want others to be happy. One would wonder what's so selfish about it, but it's one of my deepest wish...the only way I can be happy...so I do anything to achieve it...even if I am unhappy myself. It's a terrible circle of unhappiness.

And as I write this I wonder...

...mabe I deserve being miserable. And if that's the case...fine. I understand. I'll try...to be better....I'll work harder...

Just please let me find someone to hold again....

I can't stand being lonely. I can't stand to feel like my heart's been broken into a million pieces anymore...

Kiwi's notes: Well! This was quite an adventure, wasn't it? Don't worry, my dears, we're not done with Red and Wolf yet. They might take a small break, however, because yours truly has made the very silly decision to study abroad this upcoming fall term. That's right, I'm making a pilgrimage to the Gaming Mecca of the World (aka Japan), and will be studying like a madwoman as I attempt to make heads or tails of the spoken Japanese language. I'm fairly sure we'll be able to continue writing, but not at the pace we've been going for these past few chapters; that was an extra special effort we made in an attempt to finish the 'Cinderella' arc before I took off for foreign lands.

*clears throat* Alright, now that Ive gotten THAT out of my system, I would like to thank everyone that helped make this story possible. They being the Brothers Grimm (who are most likely spin cycling in their graves), Disney (becauselets face itwe grew up watching them), people at the PPC boards who were interested enough to join the forum to add their opinions (Props for Rez!), the fans (where would we be without you guys supporting us?) and my dearest angelic partner (who should REALLY get that halo of hers fixed), who is the coolest person in the entire world. *hugs her*

*goes back to sniffling pathetically, tries to trudge on without crying*

Now, as stated, we are NOT done with Red and Wolf. Not at all. XD In fact, weve planned so far ahead that you guys will be enjoying Little Reds Fairy Tales for a loooooooong while yet (unless something happens to separate Kiwi and I furtherlike an earthquake in Tokyo which sends her into intensive careor worse). And, at the moment, we are planning out the first chapter of book two as we speak. *nod nod* BUT! While you guys wait for the wonderful Book Two to be startedI have several side stories that I will be writing for you guys. And guess what? You get to choose which one you want to read first!

The choices are as follows:

One Card Short of a Full Deck
This is a story about the royal family of Wonderland, or just Wonderland in general. It ideals withspecifically--Fourteen and his life. Fourteen chapters, a prologue and an epilogue. Yes, it DOES explain how he met Red. *shifty eyes*

Angel and Demon
This story happens to be about how the Ironic Overpowers came to be and reveals quite a few things about what they did before they decided that meddling in the affairs of mortals in a fairy tale realm is a good idea. That includes the reasons why one must look before driving a station wagon right into the second coming of Christ. This is a three-shot.

The Talk
This is a one-shot where King Bartolby is set with the task of giving innocent little Briar Rose the Talk when s/he comes in to complain that s/he isnterlike other little girls.

Have fun choosing! Also!! We will have a special one-shot made just for you guys! What is it? Well! Its a Q and A session with the Ironic Overpowers, of course! Ask us any question you like and well do our very best to answer them in an interview/flashback story format. Sound fun and fair? Good!

On a random side note, I decided (with Kiwi agreeing) that we should try to get published. Not professionally, though, but copies of Book One will be available for sale on the net if anyone is interested (then again, we want paper back copies ourselves, so we dont care either way). Also need medical nins, too...in case of emergencies...But I am soooooooooo happy! I signed up to just help do some work and end up getting a higher staff position! And I get to do a workshop on fanfiction! Huzzah!

A con that isn't 6 hours away!!! HUZZAH! I have family there who let me stay there!!! Even more huzzah!!!

Although it's relatively new as it's only the second annual, but the fact that it exists now one year more than Montreal Anime Expo ever did....HUZZAH!!

And it's in November.

Apparently all Quebec based cons are in November...sci-fi....anime...comic book....Gah. Pick another month, you bilgdrats!!

Anybody gonna go besides me? If so...lets make a group!!

A cosplay group!!!

Although, not many have played either Star Ocean 3 or Okage:Shadow King...X_x I might have to take out one of the more popular costumes to wear for being recognized is fun. I liked being tackleglomped when I was Sasuke, but...you know...I wanna be told I have child bearing hips while being dressed as Alby! Nyow~!!! X3

So now I am planning stuff on how to get there and staying there. The getting there is probably easiest. So is the staying...which ends at the same result. My cousin. ^^ I have neer visisted her house before and I love her baby girl to bits. So cyute!

So she and her husband and come and pick me up while visiting my grandpa. ^^ I'l just take a bus home. The ride isn't too long.

Now for the costumes on the other hand....those are entirely a different story!

There are going to be hall costumes and then the one for the Dance.

And I'll have to lose some weight in order to wear a certain dress once again...And to have childbearing hips though I already have them.

So, fangirls...for hall costumes....I want to make either Ari/Ruka from Okage: Shadow King with a cardboard cutout of Stan that I can makeout with in the middle of the con halls...course I shall be Fanfic!Ruka which means female version of Ari(note me if you don't understand and I shall explain); or Albel....or in my case...SAILOR Albel. Yes, folks...I'm gunna wear a fuku.

Maybe I can con someone into being Sailor Fayt....

I think I'll draw some concept sketches to see how the costumes will turn out as they'll be considered 'original concepts' or something.

I might grab a table and besides art, I'l be selling..

Custom made plushies. ^^ And after my first sales at the con, I'll be taking order forms and such.

Sad to say, everybody in Hogwarts heard it, including one basilisk hidden deep beneath the school. At the student-professor's table, Harry, who was sitting there at the time conversing about scars, raised a questioning eyebrow. Katherine gave Winnifred a sidelong glance.

"What...was that?" Harry asked. "Sounded like someone got killed."

"Probably just the scream of anguish of a young woman who hates pink." Katherine supplied. Winnifred snickered.

"I guess Lockhart finally cornered her with that dress then." she stated.

What: A contest of art and writing!

When: Contest submissions start next week on the 27th of June! Which means you guys get can have a head start. I will announce the end of submission date on the 27th and not a minute before. ^^

How: I will give you a description or a topic and you must draw or write about it. ^^ These are the descriptions and topics.

Art- You will have to draw one of the main characters of the book.

Aren't I original. Anyways. There are two characters. One male, one female. Pick one if you should like to draw either of them. I'll give you the barest of pysical descriptions.

Male: Tall and lean; slightly tann; scarred here and there; curly-wavy dark brown/black hair which is (at longest) chin length; red or orange-red eyes; likes to wear black, he has mechanical wings with black feathers on them; pretty surly.

Female: Small and pleasantly plump; fair; long blonde hair (waist length) in ringlets; pleasant smile; sky blue eyes; wears a black hair ribbon; fluffy white wings; tends to dress in 'Lolita style'...only all in blue and white; is/was notorious for wearing glass slippers.

Writing-For those who cannot draw, I shall even up the playing field. ^^ There are two topics you can pick to write about. It can be in any style, prose or poetry...either works. Good luck.

...Ass. And Also....A Personally Hosted Contest For Anyone Who Cares!

I am quite upset yet also slightly euphoric.

You see, I am in a publishing house, of sorts. I've already had one piece of work done and will hopefully have some comics published as well, but...!

My editors have finally got me.

So, I am writing like almighty Hell. Sure, the damn thing ain't Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings (I can only wish to write half as good as J.K. and J.R.), but at least it's something. But sometimes....I gotta throttle them...REALLY hard. I have to put a lot of things on hiatus just so I can write in peace. And yes, this applies to everybody I know.

First off, I will still be doing fanart, but a lot more sporadically.
Second, don't expect too many fanfic installments being written. I have to save my creative juices for the damn book series. Yes, you read right....BOOK SERIES. Fucking editors.
And third, well....I'm not sure about the third...oh, yes!

Considering I am in charge of the bloody content, I can bloody well do whatever the bloody hell I want. Yes, I did overuse the word 'bloody', but I know that you know I could bloody care less.

It's a contest. I don't know how it'll be set-up just yet, but it's a heads up to everyone. Oh, yes. What's the prize? You get to be a character that is highly focused upon in the book. Well, your name shall be used anyways. It's not going to be exactly like you....otherwise my editors--and consequently the media rep--would have a field day. And that's kinda something I'd like to avoid. And there's more. You also get a copy of the book when it's done. To all the guys who tried, well....I'll think of a consolation prize. ^^

Anyways...yes. A day in the life of me.

Well....the other day, I invited some friends over and we watched FMA. Now....anyone who knows me really well...that I like to cosplay and thanks to that I have a strange variety of clothes in my closet....clothes that for one reason or another....my friends have memorized.

Anyways.

They were watching it for the first time and loved it...it was only ten episodes in and they were creatng pairings...SICK pairings.

And then THIS happened.

Chelsea: Hey, Keily...don't you own a shirt like that?

Keily: Yeah.

Chelsea: And the jacket and pants?

Keily: Mmm-hmm...

Jack: Hey, my COAT looks like Roy's jacket! Cool!

Emily: You kinda look like Roy, too. That's so cute!

Erikka: Hey, Keily...where's that blonde wig of yours....?

Jackie: Edward-sama~!

And so...it ended up with me and Jack being ganged up on by Jackie, Erikka and Emily. They forced Jack to be Roy and me to be Edward....god I hate being shorter than everyone else sometimes....

Okay, I am in serious pain now, but I can still type SOMETHING to you guys...

On the Sunday of Naruto's birthday, we had a party in his honor. Unfortunately...only all of Team 10 and Team 7 showed up. One person from Team 8 came. Aww! Well...anyways...we had fun.

The first thing done was 15 Minutes of Angst. Basically...it's where someone angsts for a good minute or so (or whatever) about whatever the hell's going on in Naruto. I ranted about the Yondaime and Naruto and Sasuke. You can guess what I ranted about.

The second event was Kakashi's Bell Tag game. Remember when Team Seven had to grab the bells? Well the rules are thus. Since there were two teams--one of four and one of three--they had the choice of free for alling or working together. If they worked together...they didn't have to play a penalty game with Kakashi-sensei (a.k.a. Moi), but if they free for alled it...well...the person who eneded up not getting the bell has to play BLIND tag with his team mates and sensei for the remainder of the time (you start out with ten mkinutes of trying to get the bells). Team 7 at first were telling their dear teammate that they wanted to work together for it...but when I said go...well...they free for alled it in the end. XD They got it in around a minute though, so for around nine minutes one of them had to go blind. I almost got tagged, too! Scary! The second team...did worse. I covered more ground with them than with Team 7. They tok around two minutes I think. Around.

Then we stopped for some cake and drinks. Yay.

Afterwards, we played Shinobi Obstacle Course.....needless to say...Team 7 won. XD

Naruto: Kakashi-sensei..you're OLD!

Kakashi: Shut-up! SHUT-UP!!!

And then...it was time for Shinobi Wargames by the name of...Anko's Forest of Death. It's teams versus teams! Last team (or person on a team) standing wins! Yay! ....Team 10 surprisingly won. Then we switched to dueling and yeah...it was odd. And if you're wondering what we used...we used water balloons...LOTS of them. XD I only got wet once.

After that we roleplayed (I got to be a whiny Thief!) for a while and we all went home!

And that was Naruto's b-day in a nutshell.

Monday, I got to laugh a lot, play around, you know? Tuesday, did some work on my manga, relaxed a bit, got into a fight, no biggy. Wednsday, got really hyper and nearly hurt myself. Thursday, found out my friend Mel plays Yu-Gi-Oh! the cardgame. I was so happy. Someone else plays it besides me!!! Yaaaaaay!! Jesse and Jason play, too! Yaaaaaaaay!!!

And today...I played Yu-Gi-Oh! with aforementioned people and then I played DDR until I couldn't stand anymore.

And now I am at home...in the most pain I've ever felt(it's not that bad, considering I am typing this at all, but it still hurts), doing my damned best to type this.

And so comes the bad news....

....I have to go to the hospital.

I don't know whether or not I'll be gone long, but...I'll try to make a speedy recovery. I gotta have some sort of lifesaving surgery done or I'm doomed. In this case...I need some stuff in my heart cleared out. But if it doesn't clear out....I might have to get a bloody transplant.

Ain't life grand?

Just to let you guys know. And don't worry. I entrusted these dudes to save my grandmother and she's still alive thanks to them. Maybe I'll come out alive, too, hmmm?

For those of you who know my number....please do not call. No one will be at my house. At least, I don't think so. Just send an e-mail. The docs and my dad will make sure I have a connection to tlk to people with.

I'll be fine.

I'll be on hiatus for just a bit. I make quick recoveries. Always.

I just didn't see it working for us. I wasn't romantically in love with him at all. Oddly enough...I felt like I was dating my younger brother (figuritively speaking of course). I do feel bad now that he is sad because of me...but strangely...I do not feel regret for there had been no ties from me to him as I thought there had been.

I know...I am being an insensitive bitch about it, but I can't help feeling the way that I do. And if he really wants me to be happy as he says...he won't ever ask me into a relationship with him again. I don't want any romantic ties. I don't want to have a boyfriend again. I just...want to be alone...

...for I realized that...I am so used to being alone...saving myself from grief...that I can't let anyone save me anymore.

Sure...I'll always want friends and I told him that I still want to be friends with him...because that was what I wanted from us from the beginning...to be friends. I just wanted a friend...not a boyfriend...not a future fiancé...not a future husband...not the future father of my children...

....just a friend.

I don't want the commitment. I am way too...unstable for one. My mind is flighty and my heart can be very empty at times.

If not for my self-imposed rules....

Yeah...just mentioning that my dad bought new fishies yet again.

In the HP fish bowl we now have a Crabbe, Goyle and Malfoy who constantly pick on poor, poor Percy.

In the Naruto fish bowl of doom however, we got three colorful new fishies that are pink, blue and green. I named them respectively, Sakura, Gai and Lee.

In other news....HP4 is coming out next year...dunno when....and Voldie's actor is HOT!! *o*
