So Exams are done, school's done, everything's done! I'm free! Freeeeee! ...Until January, that is xD So, I'm using this free time to kick back, relax, read, play me some games, and make pipecleaner stuff! Can't lay off that, no sir we cannot!

So with exams and everything over, IT'S TIME FOR CHRISTMAS! I always get excited around Christmas, because it's so fun :3 I have my christmas shopping done, so I'm uber-relaxed now.

Though I think I started pissing people off, since I kept saying I didn't really want/need anything for Christmas....

ALSO, I went to go see that New Moon thing with my sister and her friends. All I can say is....wow. I mean, wow. What an utter waste of two and a half hours. It was so mentally straining... Some of you know how I feel about the Twilight series, and how I.....disagree with everything in it, to put it lightly xD The writing (of course) was laughable, the fighting was terrible, the acting...I feel bad for these actors. They're actually DECENT actors in other movies, but are forced to suffer through this tripe. Kudos to them, at the very least.

I'll admit the werewolves looked cool. Though that's the only thing about the series I liked. Cause I have a soft spot for werewolves. Not very hard to screw up a werewolf, is it?

That being said, I have an announcement to all my watchers out there. Given the success of my pipecleaners, I'm thinking of taking mail order requests from people. I'm not sure if I'm gonna go through with this, but I may experiment with people around my area. I'll see how this goes.

BIRTHDAY!

Had a few friends over for my birthday, it was fun. Us being the nerds we are, we played Dungeons and Dragons. Got a buncha money from family (cause they don't know what the hell to get me xD) and some neat gifts from my friends. Much fun

BELLEROSE!

Bellerose was fun, despite the fact that not a lot of my friends who I knew weren't there. Went a Sheik again, didn't have the time to make another costume. It was fun, a lot of Hitman Reborn cosplayers, which was surprising O: Pictures can be found here: [link]

Also, I had a fangirl moment, since someone was actually dressed up as Judas from Tales of Destiny 2. I absolutely love that character, so whoever it was who dressed up as him...he made my day xD

SCHOOL AND MIDTERMS!

School...I actually have 3 weeks left o_o it's scary...Anyhoo, I have to study for my last midterm (psych, egh...) that's on thursday, then a Sakubun essay thing for Japanese on Friday. Then a big Essay. Then that giant 8-10 page term paper WHICH WAS THANKFULLY MOVED TO DECEMBER

University is...well, somewhat difficult but at the same time, manageable. Not anywhere near the same as highschool, that's for sure. Classes are good, haven't failed anything yet (though midterms are coming up, not cool) so things are going good in that aspect.

...HOWEVER, my classes can be...egh...difficult in more than challenge :/

Comparative Literature is cool, get to read a bunch of old stuff...but our Prof gives out shit notes, and we have a 10-page term paper due in Novemeber...Not fun :/

Linguistics...completely different from what I expected. It's actually a little confusing, having to learn EXACTLY what your tongue is doing when you're saying the word "Hello." It's just...weird.

Japanese is fun, probably my favourite of the bunch, but I feel inferior to some of my classmates :/ Not fun feeling inferior and crappy...

English is...well, English. Readings and Responses and Essays, what else?

Psych....egh, that class is ridiculous. Reminds me of Bio 30....but more in-depth and...blegh...

So spread those out along the week, throw in study sessions, work, food breaks, and sleep, and you have my university life

Not much time for social activities, no sir.

...Speaking of Social Activities, Thanksgiving's coming up. This, of course has my parents stressed out with having to balance both Thanksgiving AND my birthday. I feel terrible for them having to deal with all that :/

I get really...uneasy during this time of year, which is odd since it's my birthday. But a lot of the time, I feel like I'm stressing my parents out with having to deal with both Thanksgiving and my birthday (family AND friends, mind you) so it makes me feel like crap :/ I've been avoiding having friend parties, because I don't want to have them deal with more stress than they need to. Family is one thing, but I don't mind not having a friend party...

...of course Mom argues with me on that and says she doesn't mind, but it still makes me feel terrible :/

Well, that's my update for now. I'll get back....eh, whenever I can. Until then.

....all I can say is HOLY FREAKING SHIT, THIS PLACE IS HUGE.

Seriously guys, the University of Alberta is HUGE. Like, I'd say easily 5000 people (maybe more, maybe less, IDK) and I know NOBODY there!

Well, that's a lie. I have...4 friends there. And my sister. So...Yeah. 5 people. Fun times.

Okay, so classes. Comparative Literature is cool, reading a bunch of old stories and writing notes on them. I dunno, I like reading old stories. Though, that 10-page essay does NOT sound fun. Also, there's 20 people in that class including me

. Linguistics is interesting, as far as I know it's about....talking. And language. And speech. And there's 120 people in there. But my sister's in that class with me

Then there's Japanese, which while fun, reminds me of being in grade 1 learning to read xD Psychology is all mind stuff, so it's kind of interesting (and there's like 300 people in that class. I know none of them) and English is...English.

Admittingly, I DID get lost and ended up in storage...DON'T ASK.

But yeah, it's crazy...almost like it's own little village community in there. It's surreal, yet cool at the same time :3

Now, with all this coursework, it means I'll probably be inactive. ...Correction, I'll be even MORE inactive than I am xD So forgive me everyone if I don't come on or if I come on complaining about something. That;s what school does to me

This year a lot of the merchandise (and quite a few costumes) was themed around Soul Eater, Kuroshitsugi (or however you spell that), Vocaloids, and Pokemon. Yes, pokemon. It was an interesting mix, but fun.

As most of you know, this year I went as Persona 4's Jiraiya along with the rest of our P4 cast (which included

as Yousuke,

as Naoto,

as Teddie,

as Chie,

as Kanji, and

as Souji/Main Character.) We got to take a bunch of fun pictures with everyone, and even met up with a Yukiko, another Yousuke, two more Main Characters, a Naoto, and a Rise. So baisically the whole cast of Persona 4 was at Animethon this year. We took a lot of cool pictures at our photoshoots, which are all in my album.

This year I decided to be silent with other people, instead using a bunch of hand gestures and stuff, and it got really funny when

and I started trying to 'score with hot studs'. By the end of the third day a lot of people knew who we were xD

THE SWAG: I got a lot of nifty stuff this year. Again, most of my money went to Artist Alley (they just have such cool stuff there), mostly to pins, surprisingly.

PRINTS: I got prints of two dragons, a blue snarling wolf thing, Minato/Main Character from Persona 3, and a sweet picture of Amaterasu and Sakuya from Okami.

PINS: For pins, I got one of a shadow heartless, a pin with Naoto from P4 and the vocaloid Kaito, a 'happy plz' face, a jolteon, an umbreon, a dragon, a new player pin from TWEWY, and jumbo pins of Death The Kid ans Soul from Soul Eater, and a Star Fox Coffee pin xD

OTHER SWAG: Compared to everything else, I didn't get much swag. I got a cool Soul Eater wall scroll and split a case of Soul Eater figurines with

(she got Death the Kid and Maka, and I got Soul and Shinigami-san), and a Chrismas Chocobo plushie I plan to give to my little cousin around Christmas. I was going to buy DVDs, but they didn't have Box Set 1 of Code Geass (which I was really looking for)

...Okay I know I should be studying for my Diploma but whatever. It's social >>

So, it's summer, and we all know what that means; sunlight, the Summer Game Drought, vacations, summer jobs, relaxing...AND ANIMETHON

I know that Animethon is a good couple of months away, but I'd like to get this out as soon as I can. I've decided to get back into my pipecleaner building (I haven't made much since Harufest) for Animethon.

I've decided to NOT get an Artist Alley booth this time, since my request line was..well, really rushed, and decided to do things differently; if anyone would like me to make them something out of pipecleaners, please let me know here. I'll make it for you, and then you track me down at Animethon and I'll give them to you :3 That way people get exactly what they want! Prices will be no less than $5, no more than $20. I'll be walking around dressed as Jiraiya from Persona 4 (He looks like this: [link] )

I have to thank

for bringing me along with her! For those unfamiliar, Video Games Live is a concert where they get a big simphony to play video game music while footage plays in the background, and hosted by Tommy Talarico. It was pretty sweet

Before the show they had some stuff going on, like Guitar Hero tournaments, Street Fighter, Resident Evil 5, stuff like that. They also showed some videos and had a cosplay contest. The winner was so clever: She wore a black sweater with twi whitew lines on the arms, and a white ball on her head. She was Pong xDD

The Acts:
8-Bit
They opened with a montage of 8-bit games like Gradius and Donkey Kong and Tetris and stuff. It was pretty epic hearing the old themes played by the simphony :3

Metal Gear
This one was pretty epic. As they played the music, a guy in a box came out, along with a guard. The guard was looking around, then all of a sudden a '!' appeared over him as the 'There he is!' tune sounded. It was so awesome xD He looked around and ran into the audience before going back on stage and giving up

Final Fantasy Piano
Remember the guy in the box? It turned out to be that Super Mario pianist (Can't remember his name, but he can play the Mario theme blindfolded). Ce came out and played a montage of Final Fantasy music, like the title screen and Aeris' theme and the Waltz from Final Fantasy 8...and some other songs xD

Mass Effect
They played some Mass Effect music and stuff. Not much to comment on XD

Space Invaders
Here, they called one guy out from the audience to come up and play Space Invaders. They gave him a shirt to wear that would track his movements (meaning if he went left, the ship would move left) and a trigger to shoot. Then the orchestra played along as the guy progressed. He didn't win,unfortunately xD

Pong
This part was cool, because they showed us a video of the old man who invented videogames, and then we got to talk to him through Skype. When he asked if anyone had questions, someone asked what his Gamer Tag for XBox Live was xD He was like "I don't have an x-box, I'm too old to play videogames"

Kingdom Hearts
Here they played the orchestraeic version of Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts. Unfortunately, Square wasn't letting them use game footage and so they used Disney Footage instead xD

Beyond Good and Evil
They played some Beyond Good and Evil music here. Not much to comment, again xD

Tron
Here they played TROOOOOOOOOOOOOON!! Again, not much to say xD

Zelda
Of course, they played Zelda. When they showed all the footage, I think only me and one other person actually cheered when the Majora's Mask footage came up (I still hold that game higher than Ocarina of Time). That's kinda sad, but I felt for

since she was the ONLY one who cheered for Wind Waker xD

Then there was intermission xD

Splitting Atom/Need For Speed Undercover
They got this band out after the break to play the opening theme for Need For Speed Undercover. I was actually confused here, because I wasn't sure if the graphics they were showing were graphics from the game, or real-life people o_o

Warcraft
They played some Warcraft footage here. During the WoW parts, I was tempted to yell out 'For the Horde!!' but I didn't xD

Super mario
They got some Super Mario footage up with the music. Not much to comment on xD

Mario piano
They brought out the Piano guy again to play some Mario themes. He played the Mario theme blindfolded again, and then played Yoshi's Island. He even did the little thing when you're running out of time and need to hurry up, and played faster

Guitar Hero
Here they got this one kid out to play Guitar Hero Aerosmith, since he was thee tournament winner. They told him to get 20,000 points on Hard to win (though he asked to bump the difficulty to Expert). He played Sweet Emotion, and ended up with a 97% note hit, a 398 note streak, and over 300,000 points. Baisically he shattered the old Video Games Live world record xD

Final Fantasy VII/One Winged Angel

So Harufest was this past saturday. It was a lot of fun going there, even though I spent most of the time sitting and making pipecleaner figures for everyone.. I dressed up as a random Organization XIII member (Organization Member #23145873 to be exact xD) and I had

(who dressed as Lavi) to help me out. I'm REALLY sorry for everyone I made the figures for, because I feel like they were rushed and could have been better :/

As for the figures I made, I brought 33 to the convention and only had 5 on my way back home. Thanks to everyone who bought my stuff!!

OMG the costumes were so nice there! I'd have to say my favourite costumes were the giant grey cat and the bellydancing dog. Their costumes were so realistic, and the mouths could actually move! It was so cool!

And I squealed, because I met a Beat, Sho, and Joshua from The World Ends With You. Their costumes were so awesome <3

I know it's been forever since I've updated, but I've been fairly busy. As most of you know, I'm renting an Artist Alley Table at Harufest this year in hopes of selling my pipecleaner figures, so I've been busy making as many as I could. As a result I have a whole bunch that I haven't even uploaded onto here yet (such as Midna from Twilight Princess, Nightmare from Soul Calibur 2, etc.)

...I should do that sometime before I sell them...

As usual, I'll be in costume, but nothing too extravagant; just a borrowed Organization XIII cloak with the hood up. I'm gonna mimick the Merchant from Resident Evil 4 XD

So, Soba Bowl.

Somewhat similar to Bellerose, though with a bit more people and less to do. Honestly. They had one (and only one) viewing room for anime, a DDR room, and Karaoke. Aside from the two vendors and Artist Alley and occasional event, that was it.

...Not saying we didn't have fun

We just improvised.

Lots of sweet costumes this time around. Met up with

who was all dressed as Derek Stiles, Nozomi Weaver, and Emilio Juarez respectively, from Trauma Center. I was dressed up as Rorschach from Watchmen. There was a lot more people interaction at this convention, which made it fun. The Trauma Center Team and I went and took some awesome pictures outside after, and we all had a blast at Karaoke and DDR

And a few minutes before the cosplay event, they had a mini dance-off. So I went up and Rickrolled everyone

Much fun

Though, I'm kind of sad that I never got the Scarecrow's email. There was someone dressed as the Scarecrow from Batman, so we were 'The DC Duo'. Ah well, maybe we'll meet again.

IN OTHER NEWS, I'm planning on getting an Artist Alley table at the next small convention I go to (presumably Harufest, if I'm allowed to go). I'm going to be selling my pipecleaners there, as well as make a few small ones to sell for cheaper. This means I'll be in overdrive making these things. If anyone wants a special request item, or an idea on smalleasy-to-make popular characters, please let me know and I'll be happy to make it for you.

Yesterday was pretty fun. The Sou Kawaii anime cafe had a little Valentine's Day thing going on yesterday from 4 until 9. It was much fun

I ended up going there after 1 because my group was there early (We were a P3 group again!). We all hung out for a while (since it was dead so early) and just talked with everyone, and also doing some random dances.

When the event actually started, we had a Dance-Off and Improv and stuff

I'll be updating the dance-off videos onto Youtube later, but it was so fun! One of our friends was dressed as a Mudkip, so we dragged her in and danced to the Pokemon song. We won 1st place!

Then we were playing some improv games, like an improvised scene and the game Freeze. That was much fun, since each scene just got more and more wtf-worthy xD After a break we played Scenes From A Hat (more roflness!) until the end of the night.

And apparantly there was a videogame tournament. I wasn't paying attention to that xD

It was still a lot of fun, and I was glad to see everyone there!

I've been MADLY playing Persona 4 lately, which has been consuming a big portion of my time (it's either play that or come here), along with the usual Christmas and New Years rush stuffz. Right now I'm just finished Void Quest (NEW SPEEDRUN RECORD ROFL).

I got a stack of manga this Christmas break, both on Boxing Day and at the christmas party with

, and my other school friends. Claymore, Gentleman's Alliance, Ouran, Monochrome Factor, Tsubasa, Ocarina of Time, and on top of that I have 6 novels I have that I want to read...

...not to mention those two books my friend insisted I read...

So I've been holding off all that reading to play Persona 4

Not much has happened recently since the Twilight thing, aside from a few things.

Went to see Death Note 2: The Last Name. It was fun

I got to see a good few people there from the last movie too. Sadly, there was no cosplay contest this time, and I actually attempted to dress up (sorta as a female Light).

I made about 20 people Lose The Game (rofl for anyone reading this xD)

Also, there was one part, where L comments that Soichiro is a good father, and someone yelled out "ANYONE THINKING OF WRITING A FANFIC WHERE SOICHIRO ADOPTS L, STOP NOW!!" Rofl xD

Finally finished Digital Devil Saga, just in time for Persona 4's release

I'm really excited for this release, and though Atlus somewhat BUTCHERED a few voices -GLARES at Chie- the rest are still good.

The ending to DDs was kinda sad. Sort of like a kick in the pants for those kids D:

And gaiz, I played my first MMO the other day at

's house. It was the closed beta version of Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online. That's right, Atlus has it's own MMO, and it's not Innocent Sin xD

I kinda wanna say it's Warcraft meets Nocturne, since you run around WoW style and recruit demons...or kill them. Right now I have a Wounded Cerberus, a Kodama, and an Unseasoned Cu Sith (SOOO happy when I got this!)

Though I'm sad since I can't download it on this crappy computer, and my sister won't let me on hers D:

Well, I'm probably going to dissapear for a while since Persona 4's coming out (yae, MORE hours sitting in the Velvet Room selecting fusion skills!). If you don't hear from me...well...yeah. You know where I am.

Now, I know this movie was exceptionally overhyped, so I was fully prepared to verbally assassinate this two hour female fanservice flick, so most of my comments are probably rather harsh. My opinions in this are entirely my own views, and if you wish to flame this journal entry because 'j00 luvverz Edward sooo much omg', then go right ahead. Flames keep me warm

So without further ado, let's dive into this xD

The problems started not in the movie, but in the line-up OUTSIDE the movie. Standing in line for a film? No problem, I've done it before. Standing for an hour? I waited two and a half outside for my Wii in -20 degrees Celsius weather.

Standing in a line for an hour with four overhyper 14-year-old fangirls screeching like banshees behind you? Yeah, it took a LOT of restraint not to whack these kids upside the head >_>;;;

So we finally get in, keeping away from as much fangirlism as possible. I was so entirely happy, because they showed a trailer for Death Note The Last Name. Now I know when it's coming in theaters here (December 3rd!!), and I can't wait to see it!!

And the movie starts. People actually CHEERED when the movie began (but then again, people applauded for Harry Potter as well), and then it settles in. Bella...my god, I hated her in the book, and in the movie...I still hate her xD. Although I must admit, whatever-her-name-is does a really good job of portraying Bella's idiocy and common sense level (which is about the same equivilence as a rock).

So so far the characters are portrayed okay (though some I do question). Oh, and on the side, Bella's dad looks like the Kokanee Ranger. There were some really funny moments that were most likely unintentional (for example, Jacob's dad is in a wheelchair, yet we see him driving a truck. Way to go, guys xD)

And then the vampires come in. You could HEAR the hormones raging.

Honestly, I don't really see what people see in the guy who played Edward. I mean sure he may be cute from some angles, but the guy looked like a fricken wife beater at the beginning!!

...and for most of the movie.

I won't go too in-depth into the movie because I know some friends who may read this and want to see the movie. Be prepared for ROFL moments, both intentional and unplanned xD

...but I WILL talk about the first kiss.

My GOD. I looked around, and all the girls (which meant the entire theater room) was leaning in with baited breath for the moment the idiot girl smooches the dead guy. They started slow, hesitant...

Then one girl yells out "Hurry up alrready!"

ROFL.

Honestly, this movie is PG? It looked like they were going to really get into it o_O

But regardless of the random scenes they threw in and some other stuff, it was still an okay movie and it didn't cause me to want to get up and leave so much. The climax was amazing simply because I got to laugh as James beat the living stupid out of Bella.

Ah, so cruel am I <3

But my sister was gripping my arm, and it got kind of annoying >_>;;

All in all, this bout of female fanservice wasn't bad, so if you're a fan go check it out. Though I suggest reading the book first, or else you'll have to listen hard to keep up.

Now to look forward to The Last Name...

Well, there's been a few interesting tidbits of shtuff going on in my life.

We had our first snowfall on Remembrance Day. It was so awesome, there was snow everywhere

! I really like it when it snows

Sadly, it all melted and all we've been getting is frost now.

And my sister wanted to put up the Christmas Tree that day, mostly because she didn't want to do her homework. My dad and I spent so much time taking the lights and making sure they werre working, replacing old burnt out lights, then procxeeding to replace ALL the lights from a coloured string to white lights. It sucked X_X

Funny work story: So I work at a comic book shop, yes? We sell comics, manga, anime dvds, and games. By games I mean board games, card games, dungeons and dragons, stuff like that. We often get people coming in asking if we sell X-Box games (admittingly our sign DOES say 'Comics and Games', which can be misleading).

The most randomest thing happened; this guy in a business suit walks in, comes up to the counter and pulls out his cell phone. He asked if we sold phone chargers for cars. I told him no, and that there was a place up the next stripmall that sold them.

THEN, he looks around and asks "So, what do you sell here?"

Hmm. I know our sign is misleading, but I would assume that the numerous comics on the walls, the wall of card games, and the rack full of board games (all in plain sight) would give people an idea of what we sell.

And the fact that this guy was in a business suit just made it all tye more funny xD

In other news, I just purchased Hotel Dusk and Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (courtesy of that $50 gift card to EB Games from my sister's boyfriend from my birthday). OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH

FOR RECCOMENDING HOTEL DUSK! IT WAS SO GOOD!! It was a refreshing change from the RPGs I usually play.

So now I'm playing Harvest Moon, and it's oddly addicting. Watching my hard work flourish is so awesome, it makes me happy. I was so happy when my first turnips came in, and now I just bought a chicken coop

Plus, I have my sights on the rancher, Vaults (Vaughn in the English version). He reminds me so much of Leon from Tales of Destiny, It just makes me want to glomp him <3

Oh, and we got a transfer student in to our school. I ended up showing him around first day because his locker was next to mine, and now he's part of our group of friends. TBH, the first time I saw him, I thought "...Holyshit he reminds me of Minato o_o"

Hope you all had a fun-filled Halloween filled with parties and candy!

I sure didn't XD

My Halloween was pretty crappy this year. I dressed up as Sheik for school, and knobody knew who I was

But the whole day I was paranoid because my mom said people would make fun of my costume. So school really sucked.

I told all the non-gamers and non-anime people that I was a ninja. A colourful ninja.

I went to help my sister out at her work (she works at a YMCA near our house, working with kids) and a bunch of kids knew who I was.

"Hey, it's Sheik!"

"I know you!"

"You're from Link!" <--- that made me lawl

Afterwords I bought a scary-looking mask and was going to scare people when they came to our house, but mom was worried that they would egg the house later. So instead I put it on with a creep voice and a cape and handed out candy to the older kids.

Though, I would have had more fun had I not missed the huge tidal wave of kids from earlier >_>;;;

Afterwords nobody came! It was like 8:30 and kids stopped coming! And what was worse, nobody was online. NOBODY. So I was bored as hell, and was like 'I should go trick-or-treating with someone', but everyone was either gone at a party or trick-or-treating.

So I sat at home playing Digital Devil Saga until past midnight.

...Yeah, My Halloween was sub-par.

Saturday was the Bellerose Festival, which was a lot of fun. Got to see

, and

there, much happiness ^^

Went there in the morning and met up with some other friends, and we all did a Caramelldansen and Maccarena. I got to see a lot of people from Animethon, which was cool (zomg Man-Sheena was there! (see animethon 15 album)). Got to play a bit of Brawl, and some Rock Band 2

It was funny, because there was a Naruto cosplay that, for some reason, walked around yelling out "BUTTSCRATCHER!?" "BUTTSCRATCHER!!" For those who don't know, it was a reference to one Family Guy show that they were gonna use in their skit. It was rather funny.

They had a Host Club there, too. With the Ouran characters. That made me lawl.

TAY, JUNPEI, AND AEGIS, I'M SORRY WE NEVER DID THE PHOTOSHOOT THERE THIS YEAR!! We all went as a Zelda group this time. I was Sheik (Ocarina of Time),

was Kafei (Majora's Mask),

was Navi (Ocarina of Time), and

was Tatl (Majora's Mask). We were able to track down a Link and drag him into our group

MERCHANDISE! ...Nothing, really xD I bought two Janne Da Arc concert DVDs, and the rest was spent on food.

And my total number of pictures? Nine. Seriously, I only took 9 pictures. It sucked, I thought I had more.

Well, I'm cutting this short. I'm in a bad mood (though it was really an onset of my own fault), so I'm cutting out now.

and I get together on Sunday, and she asks me to bring my copy of FES so she could record some scenes (she only has the japanese version). The scene she's looking for is the one after the Shadow Minato fight, so I figure why not, let's fight him since I had a save next to him.

Since I've been playing Digital Devil Saga lately, the mechanics of Persona 3 had faderd from immediate memory, and I had to remember that I was only controlling Aegis. So, after a minute of figuring out who had what, I start attacking.

FIRST EPIC PHAIL:
So Shadow Minato has his health down to about half or so, with Athena equipped. All is going well until he uses a God's Hand on Metis. She falls down, and he uses Akasha Arts.

Metis and Aki dead, Aegis knocked over, Yukari nearly dead. Wh00t xD

As Aegis stands, Minato kills Yukari. I revived Yukari since I needed a scapegoat, but he comes and attacks me.

Attacks...and misses and falls xD So we all use the wasted turn to heal everyone xD

SECOND EPIC PHAIL:
Shadow Minato's health is down to, like, 50. Me, deciding to take him out epically, use Thanatos' Tempest Slash. Miss.

Oh well, wait for him to attack so Aki can kill him.

Aki misses, falls over.

...okay, Yukari?

Misses.

...Metis?

Misses, falls over.

OH COME ON GAIZ IT'S NOT THAT HARD! X_x

Finally kill him with Tempest Slash. Still, as phail as that was, I admire Shadow Minato's evasion XDD

Well, aside from my epic phail...

Bellerose Festival is coming up on Saturday (and I still need to get my costume ready

). That'll be fun and stuff.

Had everyone over who could come. We played Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and hide and seek. In the basement. In the dark. Much fun

I pulled a funny stunt: I took my sister's cell phone, and hid my own cell phone, with the volume up all the way. Then, while everyone was looking in one section, I dialed my phone and let it ring. They were all drawn to it, and like "WTF Who's phone is this?!"

We had it like a thanksgiving/birthday thing, since my birthday fell on the same day as Thanksgiving this year. OMG so much turkey O: And then ice cream cake later! So good <3

I'm pleased to say that none of my extended family knows what to get me anymore

I got $200 cash, and $50 for EB games (the latter courtesy of my sister's boyfriend). I also got a sweater from my sis, some makeup, and PJs

Well, that's all for now. I'm gonna go sleep now, since 3 days of Thanksgiving plus a Birthday is tiring.

My god, this weekend is gonna be so long X_X We went out yesterday, we're going out today, and we're having people over tomorrow. WTF I GET NO SLEEP D:

Anyways, yesterday we went out to my cousin's friend's house...or something xD We went to a house, wheee. I knew, like, nobody there xD We played Mario Kart and Guitar Hero, lotsa fun xD

Then my cousin pulls out a Ouija board. It was my first time doing something like that, so I thought hey why not xD It was really funny because all the guys were laughing and cracking jokes, while the others were all getting mad at them. Rather entertaining.

But then it kinda got creepy when I suddenly got a sharp pain in the back of my head. Twice. I got the hell out of there, and man, I was shaking xD Apparently I pissed off a spirit...I don't even know how I did it, I was just watching o_o;;

Anyways, it's still early, so I'm gonna putt around a bit until I have to start getting ready. I'm really not looking forward to my birthday, I can't believe it's tomorrow x_X;;;

I'd say adoption. Even if she has help from family, a baby would put immense strain on someone so young.

Here, the legal age IS 18. But regardless, younger people will still drink. In my oppinion, if children are introduced to alcohol and taught about it at an early age, they should be fine. My grandpa makes his own wine, and he used to let me have a little sip of it every time I came over when I was younger. Children should know about it and be taught about it, not made to think alcohol is some strange taboo until the legal age.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?

Yes. It's just pointless fighting right now

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?

Suicide in general isn't right, assisted or not.

I was always spanked as a kid, usually by my dad. It pretty much instilled hate in me, and made me the moody phantom I am now.

My mom, sister, and I were walking through West Ed today after my sister went and got stuff, and I was bombarded with a sudden, dreaded question that made my hairs stand on end.

The question was: "So, what do you want for your birthday?"

This made me realize how terrifyingly close my birthday was. My god, it's 23 days away o_o

Most people may not know this, but I don't often look forward to my birthday. This is usually because I'm stuck entertaining family when they come over, but it's also because people ask me what I want. I don't know why, but I feel guilty whenever people get me gifts. I don't want people to feel obligated to get me anything. Really, it's all right if I don't get anything o_o

So now I have to brace myself and wait for that day to creep up on me. I guess it's not entirely bad, since part 2 of the Death Note movie is airing sometime in October. I could take my friends there for my birthday party

Now I'm going to hide from people...I don't wanna be asked what I want anymore D:

So yeah, I'm in school now. It's fun, since I have a bunch of spares that make me have half the morning off. On Wednesdays I don't go in until 12:30! But Fridays I go in at 8. Laaaaame.

Anyways, went to see the Death Note live action movie that was playing (one-time screening at 9 PM WH00!). Before the movie, tyhere was a mini cosplay contest. I actually just walked up and participated, saying "...Yeah, it's just me and a Ryuk plushie"

That's right, I entered a cosplay contest with a plushie. I am that lazy xD

That movie was so fun. A bunch of us were just goofing off, saying jokes in the theater. Like, in one scene Light just pulled out his Death Note in broad daylight in public, and we're all like "HOW DOES NOBODY IN JAPAN SEE THIS?!"

And L. He was amazing xD Him and his sugar-cube tower and pastry-kabobs xD

I bought the DVD afterwards, so all my friends who want to borrow it can. Just let me know!!

Anyhoo, I'm going to go now. I know I should be working on those stories I promised, but....yeah....

Montreal was pretty cool, and now I'm back here to tell you all about it!

Okay, first the good stuff: Montreal is absolutely beautiful. There's a lot of old architecture and stuff, it's so cool. They even had this one street done in cobblestones! And there are so many big trees there, and I really wanted to climb a bunch of them XD

Also, there was a wicked-ass game store there.

you would have loved the entrance, it was all done with Halo figurines. Sorry I couldn't take a picture, both times we went my sis had the camera and she was off somewhere.

Okay, now the bad stuff. I've never met so many rude and arrogant people congregated into one spot before. Everyone there is friggen crazy, and NONE of them know how to drive. Someone actually got mad at us for CROSSING THE STREET when we had the green light to go. She didn't even slow down for us.

If that wasn't enough, my relatives were only just barely tolerable. Around the third or fourth day I was there I gave up trying to be my usual joking self. No sense of humour, these people. And a lot of times, we were just accomidating to what THEY wanted to do (example: going to a certain mall because one of them had an appointment there).

Well, enough good and bad. Here's a brief rundown of the trip:

Day 1:
Day 1 was the flight, and I was dead petrified when we took off. When we actually got up, it was actually really enjoyable. I had a window seat, and the clouds were pretty. They showed Iron Man as one of the in-flight movies <3

After we get there, we meet up with everyone and go home to have supper. While we were going, I kid you not, there was a bar named 'ORLY'. I burst out laughing xD. Afterwards everyone goes out for a drive around the city. My god, I was scared of these insane drivers >>

Day 2:
Day 2 rewards me with a giant headache that made my vision blurry at some points. We went to this church called St. Peter's, which I accidentally almost lit on fire when my mom asked me to light one of the candles. THE FIRE STICK WOULDN'T GO OUT! After we went to this big cemetary cause my dad wanted to see his dead relatives. Verry pretty graves.

Also, for Twilight fans, my sister laughed when she saw one grave whose last name was 'Cullen'.

We did a little bit of shopping, then went to their Old Port. This place is baisically lined with souvenir stores, and had cobblestone roads. We walked around because everything was closed since it was past 10. Then my relatives decide to take us out for Nachos.

At 1 in the morning.

Go figure. And then we got lost on the way back because of construction.

Day 3:
By this point I was very bored and wanting to come home. We went to the Olympic Stadium, and spent some time there. Not too much there, really. We went to this little strip of stores, and this random guy came out and started taking pictures with us when my sister was taking pictures of the place. He told my mom he wanted her to be his wife o_O;; It was very odd.

Later we went to this 24-hour arcade and played racing games and such. There was a DDR knockoff that me and my sister played, and an Initial D racing game (lawl). For one of the games, the car was painted so that it looked like a Falcon Punch xD

Day 4:
Mother Freaking HOT.

We went shopping down St. Catherine, their main strip with the hundred or so stores. I made an eventual beeline towards their game store. Amazing place, it is. They had an Akihiko statue there o_o I didn't know if I should get it or not, so I walked away xD

I lawled when I saw a Lolita Bar there xD

Later that night, my relatives and my sister brought us to a bar and snuck me in. Honestly, I don't get the hype of bars; all we did was stand around dancing.

Day 5:
We went down to this mall because my relatives told me and my sister last-minute that we were going to a wedding, so we needed to buy dresses. There was a guy there playing a red PSP, and I freaked out xD

We REALLY didn't want to go to this thing, so my sister faked sick and we stayed home watching Madagascar on tv.

Day 6:
They took us down to this strip mall to let us shop (we did a lot of shopping, really). We didn't spend long there, so we walked down Little Italy and had ice cream. Then we went out for pizza with my dad's cousin.

I could have shot that old man, and my dad. That guy had SO MUCH to drink, and my dad LET HIM DRIVE US HOME. Oooh, we let him have it when we got back >>

Day 7:

I'm leaving for Montreal in 2 days to visit family. I'll be gone until the 29th.

Also for those who don't know, I DO NOT WANT TO GO.

Firstly, I'm not close to these relatives we're going to visit, so I'm not sure what's going to happen there. I mean, sure, we'll all be polite and stuff, but...it'll feel awkward, I think. I know it's unfair to say this, but I'm just not close to them.

Secondly, I've never flown before. Hell, I've never left the province before. What worries me is that I've seen a bunch of those plane crash clips in movies and stuff, and it makes me downright terrified. People keep reassuring me, but I can't help but feel anxious about flying. I'm worried something might happen o_o;;;

Well, we still have to pack and stuff. I won't be updating anything for 10 days.

...I'm so nervous about this ._.;;;;

I have a pretty good Halloween costume that I think I could pull off, but I'm in need of some pointers on specific parts.

The Project: the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask. Click Here if you don't know what he looks like.

I have somewhat of an idea on how to make him. I baisically need a shirt or tunic pattern for the orange shirt, and a pattern for the shorts (both should be easy to get). I'll probably just improvise with the collar. I also have the Mask covered.

I must thank

for giving me some pointers with the costume. Thanks to her, I'm about 75% sure I can make most of the costume by my own judgement.

Still, I have no idea on how to make the hat, the gloves, or the shoes. They seem the hardest to make, and I'm clueless on what to do.

If anyone out there knows what I should do, please help me out.

It was a complete pain in the ass to study for all of these, which was why I wasn't on till now. This semester I had English (not bad), Social (meh), Bio 30 (ouch X_X) and Physics 20 (-dies-).

Time for a new Journal entry, yo.

II'm actually in a surprisingly good mood today. I didn't have to go into work cause our shipments of manga and comics didn't come in yet(I work at a comic store, yo), and today I didn't have to go in cause they had enough people doing the shipments.

Also, I picked up a new game the other day. It's called 'The World Ends With You' and was made by Square Enix, so you KNOW it's gotta be at LEAST playable.

The music is so cool O_O;;;

In it, you play as Neku, a somewhat of a bitchy kid who always wears headphones (and thus has gained the nickname Phones xD). He wakes up on a street and are attacked by monsters called 'the Noise'. You team up with this girl, Shiki, and you open up a can of RPG whoopass on them. You're then stuck in this 'game' set up by an organization called 'The Reapers', which lasts 7 days.

It was funny, cause the first Noise you encounter look like frogs. I was yelling "WTF frogs are trying to kill me!!!"

It's actually a little challenging, as you have to control both characters at once; Neku on the bottom with the stylus and your current partner on the top with the directional pads. It's nice that after a while, the top-bar player goes into auto-mode if you don't use her, but you both share a single lifebar, which sucks.

Still, it's fun, in my oppinion.

I'm so stressed out lately....I have a major headache right now as I'm writing this....

I honestly think I'm going to fail my courses this year X_X

I've been studying more now, but really, it's not helping me at all. Everyone's harping on me to get good grades and shit, and they're expecting me to get a goddamn +80% on these final exams.

For one, I'm almost certain that I'll fail these tests.

Two, I'm terrified that because of the expectations everyone's got on me, they'll all be pissed if I get bad marks.

Finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and start writing journal entries.

Well, I'm gamegirl, I guess. Or just game. Whichever.

Most of the stuff I have up now are sculptures I've made out of various mediums (mostly pipecleaners). I don't draw as much anymore, so I took off most of my drawings.
