We are in the middle of the Holiday season and 2012 is 21 days from over. What an incredible and busy year. I got to check off some dream jobs from the bucket list.  I worked with some amazing people and companies, created art for licenses that I have never worked with before, met some fantastic people and spent some wonderful time with friends. Not to mention our first wedding anniversary!  I cannot wait to see what next year brings and I look forward to sharing new creations along the way.

Today, StarWarsShop launches the fourth piece in its limited 12-part The Empire Strikes Back30th Anniversary Artwork Collection, a haunting image of Emperor Palpatine from his first appearance in the Star Wars saga by artist Cat Staggs.

While we never actually see the Emperor in a physical setting in The Empire Strikes Back (he only appears as a hologram), Staggs has envisioned the scene as it takes place within the Emperor's chambers on Coruscant, a locale that movie-goers had not yet been introduced to when Empirewas released in 1980.
