I'm turning 16 on Monday. I didn't realize I'm THIS young.

Oh, and what would you do if it was suddenly announced, that the world would end in exactly one hour? I mean, what would you REALLY do?
I don't want to hear stupid answers like "I live everyday like it's my last, so I'd continue on normal.." or any other of that kind of bullshit. I'd like it if you really thought it through about what you would want to do and and what you would most likely end up doing.
I've been thinking about this all week and I've reached a conclusion that, provided my family wouldn't get in my way, I'd probably get myself some Brie cheese, salami, a baguette, salted peanuts and some coke, which I would then proceed to eat at some nice place. Preferably a park.







I'm trying to get psychosis. Imagine seeing hallucinations and hearing voices in your head all day. Especially if the voices were a comedic duo. That would be awesome.

This trip has been awesome. I bought a jacket, shirt and some other clothes. I also got two books, Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead, both by Orson Scott Paul. Heh, it's been half a day and I'm almost through Ender's Game! I guess, it's not said to be one of the best sci-fi books ever for nothing. I've also mail ordered a 1TB external hard drive, which should be arriving tomorrow - something which I've been waiting for eagerly.
Plus, I've got to spend time with our lovely dogs. :3

Electronic Music Special

Yup, this time we're delving deep into the world of DJs, parties and... videogames!

This one is Happy Hardcore.. I dunno quite what to say here. In case you want to listen to some more, there's a good internet radio for HHC.

Next up, some Gabber. I chose a rather boring mix from DJ Cotts, but it's nice to watch him work on the turntable.

Next August, I should be starting study at a Senior High, the location of which is yet unknown as I haven't gotten the results of my entrance exams yet. BUT BEFORE ALL OF THAT:

This week has been pretty awesome. Since it was our last week, the teachers didn't care a rat's ass about how we spent our time OR if we even spent it at school. I spent Tuesday bathing in the sun and swimming at the local pool, Wednesday playing football in the rain (although that was actually part of school) and Friday I left halfway through the day and went to my friend's house to play Skate 2.
My parents also got me Coheed and Cambria's live DVD (which features 4 nights, where they play their entire production). It's awesome. Been watching that lately.

Lastly, I don't know much about my summer plans yet, but seeing as I'll be too lazy to write another jounal, I'll probably be running after my parents all summer as we go back and forth between our summer cottage and England. Neither of them, for some strange reason, have an internet conncetion, so I won't be around as much; Hell, I might not be around all summer!

Got a haircut last tuesday! I flipped a coin and it told me: "Hey, you might as well do it properly while you're at it," and I ended up having about 10 centimeters cut off. So, now my hair is... SHORT.

Other that that, nothing. Although, I did have another conversation with a homeless guy at the bus stop again. I wonder what it is with me and drunk people. I like to think that I should show them kindness since I'll probably be in the same situation myself later during my life. Being homeless is one of my dreams. That and being a rock star. Yup.

It's not that I mind talking with them. It's actually quite fun in a challenging way, because you can't really understand half of what they say, so you're at a loss for words most of the time.

The guy said that he'd seen me around with my guitar quite a few times (going to guitar practice) and we talked a bit about that. Ofcourse, the thought of him watching me without my knowledge is pretty much on the border of mildly amusing and mildly scary. Hrrrrrghh..

Also, I've recently had a burning desire to try hard drugs. Dunno where that came from.



My mind keeps on wandering around. Kinda cool, but mildly annoying. I feel like I've learned alot these couple of past days, but I'm not quite sure exactly what I've learned. Everything is going.. smooth, in a way.

I don't believe in True Love. I'm not going to start explaining this any further as I can't really put my feelings into words, but I will say that, given someone wants me to love them, I will love them wholeheartedly until they decide they don't want me to love them anymore. That is what I believe.

I love everything weird and different. Regardless of this, I absolutely hate anything that is weird just for the sake of weird. I think difference should come from a true feeling.

I like to think that I stand out in a crowd. I probably don't.

I think that the society of today is boring. If I were given the chance to go to another world (not necessarily better, just more interesting), I would leave in a heartbeat. That said, I would love to see the world burn - if just to see something of interest.

My emotions jump from one extreme to another. I might be extremely happy or exactly the opposite. I would never kill myself, though. I don't want to leave anybody behind that would be unhappy because of my disappearance.

I have a dream of touring the world later in my life. Not in a regular tourist way. The way I'm thinking of involves me leaving with my guitar and a few necesssities, renting out my house and touring mostly by foot. I don't want to stay in hotels either. I'll either receive a place to stay at night from a kind local or I'll just sleep outside. I might even choose to live that way the rest of my life.



Ofcourse, I'd love to hear your opinions on all of this. It might make me a grow a bit.

Countdown to new guitar: 1 week 2 days
Yes, I guess you've already heard about this in my last journal, but I need to mention this for two things. First, I CAN'T WAIT! IT'S SO CLOSE ALREADY! The other thing would be how I shall be receiving this new guitar of mine.
On Friday next week, me and my family will be going on a week-long ski trip to Norway! Woooo! We do this every year. That place is like, skier heaven if you ask me. I'm really looking forward to it. My mom will be flying in from England (with my new guitar).
Putting aside the matter of the guitar. I'll be gone for the whole week I'm in Norway, so I guess you have something to look forward to! Enjoy!

Countdown to Soulfly: 6 weeks 3 days
I haven't mentioned this before, but one of my favourite bands will be touring in Finland in about 1½ months. The tickets went on sale on Tuesday and, needless to say, I went and bought mine first thing after school. I'm really psyched about this. Max Cavalera is one of the fathers of Trash Metal and I have a feeling that this concert is going to be great!




Also, today after guitar practice I had the strangest experience ever. I had just stepped out of the bus and started walking home, when a small child walking behind me with her parents decided to start singing "THE GUITARIST IS GOING HOME! THE GUITARIST IS GOING HOME!"
It felt really nice. I don't get children singing songs about me that often. I had to leave quickly, so that I wouldn't burst out laughing, although I could still hear her singing a couple ten meters away.

Oh, and if you're wondering about the journal name, it's a song from Soulfly. I love it.

Now, as the link says, Coheed and Cambria is Progressive Rock band from New York. I've been listening to them for quite a while before, but lately I've bee listening to them pretty much exclusively. I've had The Light & The Glass playing in my head for the whole day (which is the probably the reason for this journal). But hell, I'm not complaining because it's an awesome song! Now don't let the slow start hinder you - the song get's better and better as it progresses.

Christmas break just started for me today, which, I must say, was about f***ing time! It's three days before christmas! (Now, you might be saying: "Oh dear, silly little boy. It's still four days until christmas!", but it so happens that we finns celebrate christmas on the 24th! So nyeh! )
On other news, my first day of holiday started magnificently! I woke up hearing my mother downstairs, which doesn't happen too often seeing as she lives a couple thousand miles away.
So, I rush down and see... my two little precious cutesy dogs! OwO Ah, how I missed them! Rest assured, you'll probably be seeing pictures of 'em later. Ofcourse, if your still impatient to see 'em, I think there should be a picture of them in my scraps (warning: they're cute).

Last thing I have to say is that I'll be spending christmas at my garndfather's place - it'll be the first time our whole family has been properly together for like.. ages.
Ofcourse, this'll probably mean that I'll be spending christmas in an unhappy and irritated mood. I just hate the "idyllic family"-thing. Plus, everything I say seems to fall on deaf ears when there's more that two family mmbers present. Having five of 'em means that I could be shouting as loud as I can in the middle of them all and the most I'd get is: "Olli, go get the salmon." I CAN'T EVEN EAT FISH!
...and while I was writing that last sentence, I just experienced the first example of it. Yeah, it's christmas alright. Oh, joy.
But atleast I have my dogs. ^^

I'm not really that much of a national pride-type person, so today has been pretty much a day like any other- The only thing this independence thing has brought me was to give me a reason for staying in my pyjamas all day. Ahhh, God bless this country.

So, in all honesty, thursday's concert was.. maybe the most "party-ish" night of my life - EVER.
Now for the report on the happenings:

16:50- I show up at the gates. They open at 17:30 and I wanted to be one of the first people inside so I can get as close as possible to the stage.
17:10- Friend fails to show up at the time he was supposed to. I curse him under my breath while I look at the linebulding up behind me.
17:20- Getting pissed at my friend. He calls and say he's coming but he's still not showing up. I decide that if he doesn't show up beore the gates open, I'm going inside and giving his ticket to someone else. That bastard.
17:28- F*cking raging. I call him and shout at him to get his ass to the line already.
17:30- Gates open. My friend shows up next to me. I'm fuming: been waiting in line for 40 minutes and my friend only appears just in time. Without me he'd be stuck at the end of the line and he'd have to wait for a century just to get in. We go inside.
17:45- After putting our coats to the hangers, we go to the pit. We're in the secod row with the stage 2 meters away. I forget about my rage and wait for the first band eagerly.
20:15- First band starts performing. An upcoming finnish band, Embreach. Pretty okay, but nothing special. I'm just happy to be so close to the stage.
20:30- Band stops playing. Waiting for next band, Amon Amarth. Haven't listened to it before but I heard some good things about them from some people.
20:33- I lose track of time. The following will be in chronological order without time stamps.
* Amon Amarth starts playing. They're exactly the way people told me: awesome. I start moshing and having fun.
* The great show comes to an end. That was f*cking perfect!
* Mastodon starts playing. They're alright but nothing compared to Amon Amarth.
* I feel a strange sensation in my stomach.
* The sensation turns into nauseousness. The bass drum is so loud, every beat shakes my whole body. This does NOT go down well with my dad's lasagna in my stomach. What's up with that?
* Oh f*ck! I'm gonna throw up! Go to bathroom.
* I miss the rest of Mastodon's show. That's alright - they sucked anyways. I'm more confused about why the hell I almost threw up. Go back to pit and wait for Trivium. Regroup with friend.
* Trivium starts playing. They're songs aren't that great, but they always get the crowd in a good mood. Perfect warming act. Me and friend have fun in circle pit. Bruises acquired.
* Nauseousness returns. This time I'm surely throwing up! Run to bathroom. BLORGH!
* ...Heh, I'm cool now. Back to Trivium.

He gives me a long O____o-look. I say "hi" and go back to circle pit.
* Nauseousness returns. I go back to bathroom and throw up again. Stay for a while to regroup my senses.
* Go back when Trivium finishes. Look for friend and after a while I find him. I tell him my experiences and we share a few laughs.
* We wait for Slayer to start playing.
* The show begins.
* Me and my friend rush to the circle pits. "See you after it ends." ..Even more bruises acquired. Lost my friend.
* Slayer is awesome. The crowd in the pits is going crazy. I have to be on constant alert just to stay standing. A lot of pushing and accidental violence. Meet ANOTHER classmate. We exchange greetings, then the crowd carries me away.
* Manage to get into second row. WOW!
* With the crowd constantly pushing at me from all sides, I mosh like crazy while listening to Slayer.
* They play Angel of Death. The crowd goes entirely ballistic, if they weren't so already. Bruises acquired. Kerry King plays the solo 3 meters away right in front of me. THIS IS F*CKING AWESOME!
* The crowd is crazy. Very hot and everybody is sweating and at the peak of their endurance from the constant crazyness from all sides.
* All my endurance spent, I retire from the second row and move backwards. I feel a bit nauseous again.
* I decide to take it easy fo the rest of the concert and go rest and sit down a bit. I come back later to watch the last few songs by Slayer, albeit from a distance.

I'm SO going to have fun tomorrow! These two pit tickets are maybe the most awesome thing I had happen to me for a long time!

And actually, I almost didn't even get 'em. Why? Because of my friend.. >_<
The whole idea of getting tickets was his idea and when he called me last weekend to tell of the two pit tickets for sale I was positively ecstatic! Yet, for some reason, his mom doesn't allow him to by the tickets, thus someone else goes forward and buys them off straight from under our noses!

...our dreams... we're CRUSHED-

UNTIL TODAY! We found another pair of pit tickets! We could finally reclaim our goal and mosh it up in the pits - yet my friend is AGAIN unable to buy the tickets!
SO! I take matters into my own hands and call the guy selling the tickets, arrange a meeting, go to the right place at the right time and buy the tickets!

WOOOOOOOOOT!!!

I think it's pretty cool that I'm almost at 2000 pageviews since the time that I originally started hanging 'round at dA. To think it was only a bit over a year ago! *nostalgic*

Yes, it's my birthday and I get a fever. Hooray!
I' like to say that I enjoyed this day, but so far it's been a bit of a dissapointment. Atleast in comparison to last year.
As for my presents, I got two boxes of candy from my sister, a tube of Toblerone from dad, and my other sister hasn't even bought a present yet (EDIT: a box of chocolate). Quite frankly, these gifts are of no use to me. I was kinda hoping they might do something cooler than this.
I guess I should've seen it coming though.. I didn't know what to ask for (everything I actually want is so expensive I'd feel guilty for asking) and when my dad hears that I'm not asking for anything, he won't be thinking "Oh! Well then let's surprise him with something neat!" but instead he'll be glad because he got to save a bit of money. That cheapskate. I don't even like Toblerone!
Since my mom is in South Africa at the moment, I haven't gotten a present from her yet, but I quite sure her present will be ten times better than what I've gotten so far. She even asked me on the phone whether I want anything else, even though she's already bought me a present. God, my mom is awesome.

Aaaaanyways, I guess you wanna know what happened:

It all started on friday last week when my dad received an e-mail from my math teacher about my studying habits.
Okay, I'll admit that I haven't really concentrated or done my homework.. or listened to the teacher instead of talking with my friends.. or not studying pretty much at all last term, but my dad still TOTALLY OVERREACTED from the e-mail. He thought I'd become some school bully person, who desn't give a shit about anything and thinks he's better than teachers and other stuff. This, I must say, IS CERTAINLY NOT THE TRUTH.
But still, after school, I got into my dad's car (we were going to my grandma's place) and I got to endure 2 hours of shouting from him during the trip. A great way to start my weekend.
After this, I calmly left the car and he proceeded to be quiet and moody for the next couple of days. Indeed, he only started talkig normally to me last thursday or so.
As for my punishment for my falling studying habits, I was convicted and punished with no computer for two weeks and everyday I would have to show my homework to him and also, he'd quiz me about the latest chapter of SWEDISH from school. THIS, my friends, WAS THE F*CKING WORST THING HE COULD'VE DONE. I absolutely hate swedish. We've had arguments worse than this one earlier about swedish.
Anyways, the last week has been a suckfest, but I still managed to impress him with my intellingent math skills and managed (with a perfectly timed and well executed choice psychological words) to get my no computer punishment halved into one week from two.
So...

HERE I AM! I'M BACK, BABY!
HELL YEAH!

As a side-effect, I haven't had time to check all of yer stuff like journals and deviations, so I'm sorry but I won't be checking them either because it's like a pile THE SIZE OF MT. EVEREST.

Today is awesome. I just came back from my family's summer cottage and the best part is that everybody else stayed there!
Freedom! Computer! Internet! Woooooo! \o/

...umm.. yeah..

So, the plan for now is that my aunt and her boyfriend are coming from America today and my mom came to pick them up to take 'em to the summer cottage. I managed to hitch a ride with her back home to sweet, sweet civilization while my folks live it up in the wilderness.
My happiness is shortlived, however, as they'll be coming home on sunday and then we'll continue straight onwards back to England through Europe with the car.. But until then, I have about 48 hours to be on the computer as much as possible! I'm planning on staying up the whole time!
So, in essence, for the next two days, I'll be here anytime, all the time.

Got my bottle of coke, a bag of chips, and managed to hook up my amp to my computer! In short, in really high spirits right now!

On other news, while I was at my summer cottage, my sister remained at home (due to the fact she was about to embark on a.. better.. vacation. ) ..ANYWAYS, I heard she had a party at our house while everyone was away, after which I noticed that some of them nasty party-goers must've been in my room!
It seems that they've been playing Pokémon Stadium on my ol' N64 which was lying around. XD Another thing they did (or atleast I suspect they're behind it!) was that they broke a string from my acoustic which totally sucks because the 5th string they broke happened to be only string of which I currently have no spare of! >.< I've got a spare for every other string except that one! Now 'll have to buy a new damn packet of strings! Grrrrrr...
Ofcourse, it could've just been that the string just wore out since it was a bit old anyways, but I'd rather have someone to blame it on! *evil*
Lastly, I'd like to urge all of you to come online. It's really boring writing something that nobody's around to read!

Oh gawd, I'm pissed off.. Probably the only thing I ever get really angry about. Being woken up early and immediately made to clean or pack or so.. Okay, so I wasn't gone for a week.. I decided to access the wonders of DA through the means of my grandfather's computer!

So.. ummm.. been at my summer cottage for the time being and today we nipped back into town to look at the Finnish Army's parade-thingy! So, now I stole some time to come here and right a bit to you people.
Right, now are plan is to stay at the summer cottage until next monday.. then I'm coming back home!

...AFTER WHICH, on tuesday, the next day, we shall be leaving to England! We're gonna be there for another week or so and then catch the two doggies and my mom and DRIVE back to Finland.. >_> (get yourself a map of Europe and check it out, if you like.. nice trip..) We did the same last year.. It's not really that big of a deal.. it's just gonna be sitting in a car for a couple days straight.
And IF we make it back (with two dogs and a crazy old lady, it might be harder than you think), we'll be going to the summer cottage AGAIN. Then I'll be staying there again, this time for a bit longer.. Once we're done there, we'll be driving back to England again >_> aaaannd couple weeks there, then back again, then somewhere.. i dunno..
Don't worry, I'm a bit confused with this too..

There you have it. I dunno when I'll be back.. maybe in a couple of days.. maybe a week or so. I dunno.. I'll just appear randomly throughout the summer to talk with you guys..

Yesterday, a girl on my year jumped out of the third floor. She didn't die though.. Lots of people were shocked.. I didn't really know her at all so it wasn't really such a big deal for me.

I came home today to find the house empty, with my dogs leash on top of the table.. Somehow I just knew something was wrong.. Called my dad and he told me that my dog had passed away a couple hours ago.
That dog was like my brother. He was a couple months older than me.. Basically we've been always with each other. I guess it was his time to go. He lived a good life.. It still doesn't make me feel any better about it though..

Yesterday was confirmation day, it was fun. Let me give you a short review of the party:

"Haha! Looks like I'm now a fully fledged christi- OH LOOK! FOOD! OM NOM NOM NOM!"


Then came the real reason why the day was so important - PRESENTS TIME!
I got some jewellery, a book, money, guitar picks, A DIGITAL CAMERA, and AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR!
I won't go into any details about the camera, I'll just say that I'm having lots of fun with it. The guitar, however, I've not even seen yet.. My relatives bought it from their home town and they weren't currently in stock there and long story short, getting it next weekend when I go to my summer cottage! ^^ I seriously can't wait to get there now!

That's it for now.. I'm a bit too lazy to start writing that much, but I'll be back with some deviations!^

Ummm.. so, yeah.. For the last couple of days, the company which provides the internet connection has been repairing their stuff. Whoah, I can tell you: Most. Boring. Time. Ever.
..I mean for real! Get this.. yesterday, I went jogging! O_O YEAH! I ran like, over 5km! Never stopped to walk, took one break during which I did sit-ups and stretches.. I'm pretty pleased with myself at the moment.
In other news, next weekend is the weekend when I'll finally get through my confirmation classes. I went to the last obligatory church-going necessary to pass today.. ^^ What this means is that next weekend, I'll get loads of money/presents and that'll mean that it might be New Guitar-time soon! \o/ Don't worry, baby. So, just a short little text for some stuff..
The trip was absolutely great and I had an awesome time in Norway. Plus, on the way back in the ferry, my dad bought me some Coca-Cola since it was on sale. Now I have 24 cans of sweet, sweet, tax-free cola! Yay!
Also, on the saturday that I returned I happened to find a very nice little site. I was googling around for some finnish humorous songs and stumbled upon last.fm, a pretty nice site for listening to music, showing other people what you're currently listening to, and send others recommendations and stuff (damn, how does this sound like I'm advertising this site?). And it really helps you find new music too! I'v only been there for about a day now and already I've discovered two great new bands!
Yeah, it's pretty cool and I just thought to mention it here since I just joined there and so I don't have many friends yet.. So if you happen to have a profile there, just go ahead and add me as a friend!

First of all I'll tell you about the main news of today. It's some great stuff!
In about 4 weeks there's this thing in school where we have to go and GET A JOB for one week. It's this thing about getting to know what a full-time dayjob feels like and at the same time get some good stuff to put on your resume. It's actually pretty important in a way..
But yeah, I just received an e-mail about my application to get a job at YLE, which is the national news broadcasting channel/radio.
AND I GOT IN!
It's really hard to get in that place and they're usually very picky with accepting any workers, but thanks to some recommendation by a guy I kno who works there, I managed to get a job there!
Needless to say I'm very pleased about this.

Okay next up is what I've been up to today:
Yeah, so today I had a nice little free day from school with a thing called "taksvärkki". It's actually kinda the same thing as the week in a real job thing except for only one day- You're supposed to do some work for one day to earn 10 euros for some african children or something. So what I did was I stayed home and "cleaned". In other words, "taksvärkki" means "get 10 euros from your parents to stay at home for a day!"

Next item up - next week:
Next week is gonna be (thank god!) VACATION! And this is no ordinary holiday! I'm going to NORWAY for a week!!
Yes, me and my dad are leaving for a skitrip to Norway on friday. I'm so happy about it! I've been waiting for like, the whole year to go there. The place there is awesome for skiing and while this year Finland's been pretty void of snow, I hear that where I'm going there's a nice 1 and a ****ing ½ meters of snow! O_o - I mean, it's like up to my CHEST!
So, just as a heads up, I'll be pretty quiet the whole of next week. You people will be getting a nice break from my company, while I'll be having fun plowin through the greatest slopes I've skied down!

Lastly, just some pointless info about my life that you probably wouldn't care about:
Last weekend, a bunch of my sister's friends came to our house (turns out it was my sis's b-day! XD ..woops, forgot..) and they drank almost all of my coca-cola! :angry: That was MY coke, which my dad had bought for me to last the weekend! Cheeky buggers...
Anyways, since I had the time this morning and a giant craving for the sweet, black liquid, I went out and bought some. With added hilarity at the check-out at the store when I bought the coke with a hundred euro bill (there went my christmas money). I'm rich, b%atch!
Also, today I was playing some guitar and I think I have just stumbled upon a masterpiece! My first real composing work and the songs pretty good, if I say so myself! ^^ Just needs some finetuning and more work with the main riffs and bridges. I'll have those done in a whiff! Then it's just recording on the computer and world fame here I come!
And one final thing. I recently downloaded the discography of Coheed and Cambria out of boredom. I think it's pretty good once you get over the fact that the singer sings like a woman but looks like a damn metalhead man. Oh yeah, that concert was AWESOME! That was some of the best times I've had in ages!

For the first couple acts, things were pretty quiet. As a matter of fact, the place was almost empty. But once the main bands were performing, the place got filled up..
The hall started filling up when Dragonforce took onto the stage. I liked their show, they had a killer stage appearance with a really funny intro.
Then came Trivium and the hall filled up even more. It's then that I really started enjoying myself. They played some good songs and really got the crowd going. They were great. I wasn't much of a Trivium fan earlier, but I certainly am one now
And finally, the guys I'd been waiting for - MACHINE HEAD! Their show was definitely the best. The hall was pretty much full at this point and I certainly understand why. It was the best shit of the whole evening. They played my favourite songs and they had the best show of all. \,,/ yea! \,,/

It's saturday now. My neck is stiff and hurts from all the headbanging I did and my throat is sore from all the shouting I did. Those are the two trademarks of a good show. Yes, THAT CONCERT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!

I got that guitar I was telling you about ^^ I've been playing it non-stop since I came from school (where I skipped a few classes so I could get home earlier too )! That thing is AWESOME! It's a Stagg Surfstar. I know it's not the best guitar that's out there, but a guitar's a guitar - an electric doubly so. I have no complaints I'll probably be submitting a pic of it into my scraps, so y'all can see It looks pretty much like the Fender Stratocaster and it's black. Cool stuff

School was... interesting today. For some reason, my birthday is somekind of national celebration day, since everybody's always going like "It's Olli's birthday! WOOOO!" I mean, usually nobody even knows if it's someone else's birthday, but ME - last year, I get a f*****g CAKE! Candles and everything... Needless to say, this year was nothing short of last year. I get two nice cards, the class singing happy birthday to me, AND one girl baked me cookies Yes, I'm not making this up.. My class is just weird. Either they really adore me, or they're just joking - I suspect the second option

Oh, I also got a new haircut.. I'll be needing to make a new ID for meself now. I cut like, dunno, about 5 or 6 cm off! Everytime I see myself in the mirror I whisper to myself "It's so SHORT!" I have kinda mixed feelings about it.. Maybe my hair just needs a couple days to adjust to not being so long anymore

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a guitar that needs my undivided attention.

I'M SO FUCKEN EXCITED!



...I guess you people deserve an explanation, huh? Well, you see it came to my attention yesterday, that probably my favourite band ever, called Machine Head, is COMING TO HELSINKI ON THE 14TH OF DECEMBER!!! YEAH! I was practically jumping around my house yesterday from pure joy There isn't even an emoticon good enough to describe how excited I am ^^ I asked my dad if I could go and he said yes so now all I have to do is buy the tickets and I'll be there then, going like this lol
And it's not just Machine Head either! There will also be Trivium, Arch Enemy, and Dragonforce playing at that gig! Gawd! I'm so excited! I mean, to be honest, I don't really know about Trivium or Arch Enemy, but Dragonforce is another of my favourite bands. I would've gone to that concert even if there was just Machine Head, but THIS! This is gonna be fucking EPIC!


On other news, my birthday's next week's friday. That's really got me buzzed aswell I think I'm gonna be getting an electric guitar for my present! Can't wait I mean come on... an ELECTRIC guitar! As if an acoustic wasn't cool enough. I hope they buy me a cool one ^^ like a Fender or something...


So, plenty to look forward to in the next 2 months! B-day, electric guitar, Machine Head, AND christmas at the end of it all! X3 This is gonna be one helluva good time!
