i'm loving it however! it's miles better than lightroom 2, in terms of details and noise and sharpening at least, and the vignetting is miles better! and it's much much faster than lightroom 2 as well. :heart:

Firstly, I have always hated dA's way of resizing submissions, why can't they find a way that it keeps the image sharp and clear and free of mashed jpeg artefacts? even if they did it... at least allow us to drag large images as an alternative. Panoramas look hideous resized. I really wouldn't mind seeing an ugly resized rubbish if one can easily click to view in full size. :(

I decided to give the 3.5 beta 4 a go, a little bit better, crashing every 30 minutes or so.

So I think I'm having rather enough when it decides to crash when I'm submitting deviations...

Which one should I go for? I do enjoy all the plugins and features of firefox, in fact, i never had a problem (that i could recall) before firefox automatically updated itself to 3.0.10. I'd happily go back to a version before that if i could!

I never really liked safari for some unfair biased opinion as i hate most apple stuff, and the UI is just plain ugly.

So, to my greatest disappointment, :devmerelymarquis: didn't show up, leaving me walking around the small city all alone like an idiot. Well I had to make the most out of it anyway. So I took a tour and went to the Burren area, looked at some rocks, scaled the Cliffs of Moher, and went into the aillwee cave, saw a portal tomb... the landscape of that area was stunning. So... what have I been up to lately?

Well, my name is Jackie Wu BA (Hons) Multimedia Design now :D

I totally missed the launch of dAv6 and my "coronation"! I have been in London for a week now, have been manning the New Designers Show in Islington, parents are around too, generally having a great time, and apart from the very, very sore throat, I have swapped quite a few business cards and did a fair lot of talking to them nice people. I have this weird dream again, it's kinda in fragments but it could be pieced together somehow I guess.

1. I was using my old sony 717 camera, i fell, the lens hit the floor, the CPL and UV filter fell out. When I got up, only the CPL survived, and my 717 was ever so sturdy. But the UV filter was cracked.

I just downloaded Ares and it just decided that it wants me to read simplified chinese. Even after setting it to display English instead, some parts remained in chinese. WTF. Bam, uninstalled straight away.

well, she's got a cruel owner, Mark's dad wants to declaw her, just to prevent her from scratching their curtains and carpets. That's totally unacceptable, as declawing is like chopping off one joint of your finger, not simply clipping your nails, it's a kind of amputation, and it's completely ridiculous a reason it is to prevent precious furnitures getting scratched. It's cruel and inhuman. not to mention the stress she will suffer, and the possibility for her to get infected, and, well, it's just completely unnecessary.

For those wondering why Katie aka :devsnowmask: isn't online these days, something happened to her powerbook, her laptop charger just suddenly decided to combust and almost toasted her entire apartment :flame: , good thing is that she was using it at that time, and reacted to it by unplugging the charger. otherwise there'd be no more katies.

i really think macs are overrated, and very, very obviously, overheated.

anyway you'd see katie again when she gets herself either a new laptop or a new charger. however i really think she should get something back from Jobs. he almost blew up my poor little katie.... ;--;
