Well the semester is finally over!!!
I received a very well deserved A in my photography class. The class was a lot of fun and was a huge learning experience for me as well. The class was an introductory level photography class and just from playing around with cameras for a year I had a relatively good grasp on the class, plus I had taken it in high school.

Anyway, I made a bunch of prints that came out fabulous and really surprised myself by the end of the class with my final project of the photo essay which I will be revealing later on. There's a number of updates I need to do, hopefully I'll have time to get er all done before I go back for my final semester at school.

Though I'm on break, still seems like I'm just as busy as ever getting caught back up for when I go back to school.

Too much work it seems. Not enough time to do it all in. End of the semester is coming quick. Will kind of be glad once its all over. My mind has been shooting forward to what will become of me once I obtain a degree and become an alumni of Central College. Hopefully I will have a decently paying job. But for now all that fills my head seems like incoherrant thoughts.

I'm taking a photography class this semester. Had some really great shots that I will most likely upload up here on DA once Christmas time comes around. I never really got a chance to finish my seven deadly sins series. I may do that on Christmas break before I upload some photography projects.

Found myself a girlfriend this semester. She's nice. I like nice. I think it's something I really needed...a girlfriend... To often do I find myself isolated from the rest of the world when I'm back in Jersey and depression sinks in. We rarely have things to talk about unfortunately, and I find myself going out to the bar more and more. Since she is not of age, she often has to deal with the aftermath. She says she doesn't mind, but I know otherwise.

Anyways...life is to much for me right now.

Well I have been submitting photography with DA for over a year now. I really think that I have improved a bit from a year ago in my photography. I like to think that a year ago I was shooting just random things and I suppose everyone goes through that when just starting off, but now I've got a few ideas in my head of conceptual ideas.

I only hope that I will continue my hobby throughout the summer. I've been really busy with work lately and usually come home pretty tired and haven't gotten a chance to shoot much of anything else. Anyway, work later again today. Will try to finish up my Sin's project, might take a break, might go on and do some other stuff, not quite sure yet...

I've been in somewhat of a mental block for the past few months. There is a series of shots I want to take for my next "project" and I couldn't figure out how to shoot them. I hate it when that happens. But today I had an epiphany and I think I know what I want. I took 1 shot from the series and I know now that the series will be exactly 7 pictures.

So ultimately I think I may take a break from my overseas pictures and try to upload something new. At the end of this month I will have been on Deviant art for an entire year. I really think my photography is starting get better, at least from what it was in the past.

1200 pageviews as well. Though this isn't a significantly high number, and many people get this within a month, I still find some joy out of it.

I haven't gotten a chance to take anymore pictures. I'm still thumbing through the load of pictures I took overseas. I'm trying to figure out a way to shoot my next series, but I'm having a block.
Good news is that I broke down tonight and finished up selecting what pictures I'm going to use for my Snowdonia series, scanned them in, and added frames and appropriate titles and such. As of now, there will be 9 pictures in the series. This is more than I anticipated, but, I have a CRAPload of Snowdonia pictures and had to cut it off somewhere so I can add some other pictures I took abroad. I will also have a new Deviant ID soon and will submit it after I submit the rest of the Snowdonia series.

Been pretty bored otherwise...
So for anyone reading my journals, thanks for watching.

Well I'm finally home. After 5 months of living abroad in Wales...I'm back in good ol' US of A. I took a SHITload of pictures while abroad, a lot of which I must say have been my personal best. Of course I did these on a 35mm film camera, and I THOUGHT I would be able to scan them in on my scanner when I got home, but unfortunately, my scanner is inoperational at the moment.

Until then, I'm trying to figure out how I can get my prints online so I can submit some work. I might go out and shot some more with digital, but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, hopefully anyone who's watching me will see some new stuff this summer...I promise.

Hello everybody, I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not inactive to Deviantart. I've been over in Wales for the past 2 months. I'm studying over here until the end of May. I can't upload to many digital pictures in the computer lab. I have though, been taking a LOAD of pictures.

When I get home in May, I'll be uploading a bunch of pictures so bear with me. So far, I've been all around Wales, been to London, Edinbough in Scotland, and for spring break we're planning on going to Athens, Florence, Venice, Paris, Berlin, Prague, and many other fabulous places.

Just the other day, we went up to the mountains for 2 days to go mountaineering which was AWESOME. We climbed like 6 or 7 mountains total. Of course I was there snapping off a few shots in the middle of blizzard like conditions. The view at 3000 feet above sea level was beautiful.

Anyways, take care all. See you in May.
I'm back in good ol' Jersey, relaxing after an extremely stressfull semester. I did a lot of traveling and had a lot of fun, now it's time to just kick back and relax for a few before my journey to England.

When I went on my Vegas trip, I took a few pictures that can be seen in my gallery. I took more than just 3 but, these were the ones I saw fit to post on DA.

For christmas I got a new digital camera from my folks. Took a few pictures today.

Anyway, let the countdown to new year's begin!

Sometimes I wonder what my purpose in life is. They say that EVERYONE has some sort of purpose in life, but sometimes I just think that they say that crap so no one feels totally worthless and ends up commiting suicide. I mean, out of ALL the people that are in the world today, every single person serves some meaningful purpose in life? It's just hard to believe I guess.

I wonder what the point is in going through the education process. So you can find something you enjoy and make a career out of it? I dunno, I've found things that I can tolerate in school but nothing I'd enjoy making a career out of. I'm currently studying chemistry at college in hopes that someday I can use this wonderful knowledge to cure disease or rid the world of famine....yeah right.

Sometimes I fast forward a few years to where I'm totally independant and living on my own and I wonder how satisfied I will be. Maybe I just worry too much about things, and should just live in the present and let life take me away.

New Jersey is known for abandoned building, factories, etc. My friends and I, when we're bored and there's nothing else better to do, like to go explore these areas and marvel at what Jersey wreckage has to offer.

Anyway, yesterday, my friends and I went to go explore the remnants of this old factory in the middle of the woods. No big deal. I saw some cool things, smoke stacks, factory buildings, etc. I decided to go back today, alone of course, to take some pictures.

Nowhere did I see any signs on trees saying no trespassing, so I proceeded. I knew that I wasn't allowed into the actual factory facility but the woods behind it were ok considering my friend said he saw fishermen go back there all the time to fish. Well anyway, after I was finishing taking my pictures, I was walking back on the train tracks and I heard some people yelling and I looked back and there was a guy standing on the tracks just starring me down. Since I had taken what I wanted I continued on my way, but it made me wonder if they didn't want me back there at all. Oh well...
