I used to be part of a forum community before joining dA, and I kind of miss that kind of thing. So and I have created a new forum at [link] . To some of my watchers, yes lol, we named it after Xsiteclub.

While i'll be taking a long hiatus, it doesn't mean i'll stop drawing. I still want to draw, but i want it to feel more like a hobby than a job. and I will start working on our comic project again, and we'll still definitely be working on . Plus i'm going to undertake a comic project of my own, which i'll do in my own free time.

Theme:
Survival Horror

Location:
Somewhere deep in the barren snows of Alaska, cut off from civilization.

Story:
An underground research facility was built some time ago, cut off from any contact of the outside world. Since the researchers were going to be there for a long, long time, they were allowed to invite their families and friends to follow them to this facility. A special residential area was built to cater for these civilians. As the year went on, things seemed to be fine, and a breakthrough was at hand…. That is, of course, something terrible happened and all contact with the top-secret research areas was lost. Soon after, a permanent lockdown was announced, and everyone in the facility was locked in. A few remaining researchers from the lower floor appear all bloodied and on the brink of insanity, to tell the civilians that there is no hope for survival. The civilians, in a state of desperation, decide to search for a way out. Little do they know about the horrors awaiting them.

Details:
This tournament is quite different from the other dA tournaments in the sense that this is not a ladder tournament. Instead of going head to head, the main goal instead is to find a way out of the facility. A special point system will be put together to grade the entries, so this foregoes the need to have a “last-man standing” as the winner.

The contestants will take on the roles of these civilians, who have never been in such a situation or received any form of self-defense training. The contestants can choose to go their separate ways, or work together to find a way out. Certain contestants could choose to kill off the others in order to survive.

Also a layout map of the entire facility will be drawn and available for the contestants to use. For each round, the contestants can choose which area they want to go through, and backtracking is also an option. Details of each area will be listed out for the contestants to use, and to try find the way out.

The monsters in this tournament will be “unseen” at the beginning, but as the rounds progress, their appearances will be revealed. Also note that these monsters cannot be killed, so your only option is to run and hide.

What we’re looking for in this tournament is how you portray your character’s psychological being throughout this entire ordeal.

Hokuto: Heh, just a vagabond searching out strong opponents, though i have my reasons for entering the SDL.

2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?

Hokuto: No, none. Though when i was still a kid, the other children i played with could be considered "siblings".

3. How old are you?

Hokuto: 28.

4. What's your height?

Hokuto: 188cm... in feet, that would probably be 6' 2".

5. Are you a virgin?

Hokuto: No, i've had my fair share of experience during the time i've spent travelling.

6. Who's your mate/spouse?

Hokuto: None.


7. Do you have any kids?

Hokuto: Not that i know of.

8. What's your favorite food?

Hokuto: After losing most of my senses, i really don't have a favorite food. Before losing them though, i was pretty much into any Japanese dish.

9. Have you killed anyone?

Hokuto: Lots. I've kinda lost count, but it happens. Of course i doubt i'll be killing anybody in the SDL (since we get penalized for it).

10. Do you hate anyone?

Hokuto: Nagae, while she's skillful in the arts of assassination, her childish personality gets on my nerves sometimes...

11. Have any secrets?

Hokuto: None i'd want to share with you

12. Do you love anyone?

Hokuto: No, but there are some pretty fine women in the SDL...

13. What is your job?

Hokuto: Currently leader of the Sousaisuru. My goal is to form the most powerful clan within the league.

14. Boy or girl?

Hokuto: Obviously male.

15. What do you do to relax?

Hokuto: I tend to go out and have a nice cup of tea, or go to one of the massage parlors. Yea, i know i can't feel, but somehow i feel more relaxed after doing these things.

16. There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?

Hokuto: I could care less, unless the person wants to fight.

17. Let’s say you have a person who you really care about but she/ he doesn’t know about your feelings. How do you tell her/him?

Hokuto: I'd tell her straight up.

The theme of this league will be fantasy-based. However, instead of individual OCs earning individual points, this league will be about guilds. So it'll be guild competing against guild (you get the picture).


Now in a guild, there are teams. Each team can consist up to a maximum of 5 members. When a team sets out to do a "quest", each member of the team must tell the "story" from his/her OC's point of view that means they must all be in sync then we judge their work based on a few criterias, and we award them a number of points depending on how well they've done. In short, a team will need to discuss it among themselves first and plan out their story accordingly.

There will be a request board for guilds to select their jobs. Should a guild get an individual job (meaning they have no competitor), we will judge their work based on a certain number of criteria and give them points accordingly. However, if two or more guilds go for a job, then may the best guild win. As for these "jobs", we hope that the public give us ideas. Also, guilds must follow the conditions (eg, monsters, location, story, etc) of each job.

How the guild ranks and manages their members is completely up to them. As for character creation, we'll be very lenient as this is a fantasy-themed league (however, no uber-powerful OCs or god-like OCs).

As for tournaments, we'll be operating them just like SDL (sorry, their way is just effective)

What you read above is the basic concept of the league. We're currently looking for volunteers. We would like one volunteer to help draw a map of the world and specific locations (well it doesn't have to be detailed, just the overlook of a city, etc). We would like a few volunteers to help with the judging and such (although that means you're not allowed to participate). And I would like a volunteer to help create a page for this league (since i just suck at this dA thing).

I hope that this league catches the attention of many, and i hope that all those that participate once it's up and running have fun.

As the title suggests, I've decided to hold a little contest, where you don't get anything in return. It's simply to fill my page with a little bit of activity until I start with the comic. Details are as follows:

1) It's an art contest, obviously.
2) The theme will be based on my upcoming project (which is as stated above)
3) There are 3 main characters which form the Rainbow Six squad; Marcus (the leader), Tyler (the bombs specialist), and Wang (the computer experts).
4) Place is Las Vegas. Can happen anywhere in Vegas. Enemies are obviously terrorists (no religion or political crap, most of you are still too immature to handle those issues)
5) Can be an abstract, comic, etc.
6) It obviously can be drawn in your own style. (in fact, it should be)

And that's about it. If anyone actually cares, they can have some fun and have a go at this little contest. Feel free to ask any questions (should you bother to)
