That day in the fall of 2004, during the early evening, about four of us in the neighborhood decided to get together and go down to the local park. To get there most of us rode our bikes, but for those who didn't have one would get with someone who did and ride on the back , by either standing on the back pegs or the back part of the bike frame. Inorder to get to the park we had to ride down the hill and around the corner. The few that lived at the top of the hill would start to ride down the hill to the next one's house. They would wait there until that person came out. We would continue this until we had everyone. Just like we did any other time we got together.

As we rode down the rest of the hill you could see the beautiful and bright fall colors on the leaves that were still on the tree and the ones that have fallen cover the ground. We could smell the scent of the season, such as the scent of leaves burning or the cold crisp air. But the smell was torn away by the wind as we started going faster down the hill and we came across some cans of red generic spray paint that had been just tossed to the side of the road. When we spotted the rusted spray paint cans, we thought that we be able to get some free paint so we stopped. We picked up the cans and shooked them. As the sound of the metal ball inside the cans slowly came about, we learned that they still had paint in them. We took them with us, because we knew that if we took them home our parents would ask us where they came from, and we figured that if we brought them to the park that we could use the paint there or find a secret place to stash them.

At the park, you could see what was suppose to be a tennis court. Tall fences on both of the far ends of a concrete court. In the middle where the net would normally be, stood two short metal poles. Even though that there was no way to connect a net to the poles if you wanted to put one up.

When we got to the tennis court, which inorder to get to we skidded down the wet grassy hill. We then got off our bikes and one person started to paint one of the poles in the middle with the red spray paint. As if there was an unseen force that pulled us into the feeling of rush and addiction, the rest of us soon followed. With the poles we also painted different parts of our bikes with the older kids would helping the younger kids. One boy who had a record of getting trouble with the law, painted the names of his older sister and her boyfriend on the concrete court, since he knew that she would get mad at him for doing so.

The following evening filled with anticipation we went back down to the park to see if what we painted was still there and to no suprise it was. By the end of the next week our art was gone. We figured that a person that lived across from the park probably saw it and call it in. Then a city official came out and cleaned it off.

That Christmas as the snow began to fall and as we did every year on the Sunday before, my family drove to Sedelia to celebrate at my grandparents with the rest of our family. The car drive there seemed to take foreber. Took keep my sanity, I would watch out the window and every time we would pass a train I would stare at the graffiti painted on the cars that made up that the extremely long trains. And as I would admire the paintings on the trains wishing I had a camera that was better than the one I had on my cell phone. Maybe I could attempt drawing something that amazing.

The end of Junior year of high school was spring and the sun was shining through the windows through the school. When you went outside you would smell the scent of the sweet spring flowers and the feeling of the dampness from the spring showers. The year was 2007, our high school had a new school president. Who before coming to our school had reopened a school in Memphis, TN. My drawing skillls were develping. Earlier that year, I became one of the two artist for the school newspaper. I also joined a few other clubs and actually got involved. At home the neighborhood started to die down. Families had moved out and new ones had moved in. The cole county sheriff that had lived in our neighborhood had passed away.

I soon started to learn about the different styles that the writers or graffiti artist used and that there was more to the paintings on the trains. I began trying out different styles in looking for my own. Back at school, I realized that my art teacher actually liked the art of graffiti. 2. I hate wearing long sleeves. They seem to want to mess with the wristbands I wear. (one on each arm) When I do wear long sleeves I normally end up pushing them up above my elbows or just cuffing them so they're not over the wristbands.

3. I only wear necklaces that I can wrap around my neck like a cat collar.

4. I think snakes are cute and would one day like to have one as a pet.

5. I've always wanted a remote control car and still do.

7. With drawing, Mr. Friggle taught me the basics of drawing along with how to shade and build form. Mr. Aur encouraged me to draw stuff that came from my mind. And here I am today.
