The Broken Hero

The most of modern idea is that of the broken hero. The guy or gal, this case a guy, who does good but becomes shattered because of it.
Its true, this idea of the broken hero. He looks on to all, wishing that everyone could know what he does in the night, protecting them and keeping their streets clean for their children to walk around safely where otherwise some sort of danger could befall them from the sketchy sorts that would prowl were he not there. His absence brings these people back in droves, thinking all is safe, no one willing to step up from their daily lives to do what is right.
He sits there gazing off into nothingness all the fights, and horrors of guns knives and blunt weapons that have been pulled swung or connected with him flashing back in his head. Like the Vietnam vets sitting in the Waffle Houses, he is one with them, but with one subtle difference, he has a cause. The cause he believes so strongly in that he sacrifices sleep and sanity to uphold. To protect those who need it to keep those who are innocent in such a state as they possibly can.
On his own personal crusade. No one is with him, and many of his friends are against him. Taking up arms against one they once thought of as friend, and now as foe as their thoughts have differed in this moment. A critical moment where he tries to do what he thinks is best, but can never be entirely sure.
The idea thought hat he cannot save the world crushes him. Seeing horrors that mankind can bring upon one another more so than most. Coming home to a volatile home where he is unwelcome and even hated at times. The support at home a rug swept out from under him leaving little foundation. The friends he looks to, kept distant by what he does. Their disbelieving when they ask where all the new scars, bruises or cuts from a knife that he could only block with his arm as it came slashing down upon him, come from when he tells them some made up story protecting them from the truth. The truth that he is both horrified and proud of at the same time. He just took down several guys, sustaining injuries yes, but he just swept some scum from the street for a good amount of time. As even if they are not put away they will not come back again too willingly for they think he is not alone himself.
It is much worse when he decides to tell a certain individual of his exploits their not believing them only breaks his heart further. Making him wish he could only show them, but knowing full well he cannot for that would risk their lives and thus bringing possible harm to them, and idea he could never live with.
His friends sacrificed as he tries to save them from anything and everything. Protecting their honor when they do not know it has been infringed on. Making themselves the object of hated and loathing as they break. Being there for them constantly trying to pull the pain of that person into themselves, believing that it is something only they can take large amounts of. He gazes into their eyes, seeing their pains and broken hearts, and yearns to mend them. Like a carpenter of the soul he tries, but always fails. Never realizing what cannot be done, thinking themselves superhuman based on their luck on the field. He knows he is not, his body tells him differently every time that he stands. Wincing in the immense pain in his body, the knotted muscles and bruised bones aching as he forces them to move once again, promising sleep as the sun rises once again. The only thought that keeps the broken man going. The understanding that eventually the sun will rise again, and he will see the light.
But he will never see the light, for the broken man can never love, for he can never be loved. He can admire, care to the greatest extent possible, but he can never let someone in, for the fear that that person that he does let in will see the broken shards of his soul and stamp them into nothingness, and then leave the empty void that he knows so well even emptier. The world he sees is empty of happiness, and yet he smiles as he stares down the barrel of a gun, throwing his foe off by that single half a second he needs to switch hands, strike the weapon away, and then disable his foe in one swift movement.
He smiles, and never knows why. Something imprinted on his mind he supposes, never smiling of happiness, just of the thought of living. He continues on, knowing that he will never be thanked for what he does. The police and sheriffs that thank him for what he does as he turns in a miscreant only turn around the next day and pull him over, talking down to him like he were one of the ones he has just disposed of. But with everything thats going on in my life, school, writing, and a gf, it is just alot to find the time to draw...
I was in the hospital a couple weeks ago, and had bills to pay... sold a couple of my most prized star wars things to do it, as well as a car bill. I had thought of opening up small 10 dollar commissions to help me get some food, because it really was/is that tight, but just don't have time. Time is something we all wish for more of but can never have.
Alas... it is what it is I suppose.


I have been working on a project inspired from my impromptu lectures in my Chinese History Class, and continued studies on the Three Kingdoms period in China. One of my friends pushed me into finding Red Cliffs after I showed off some of my ancient coins from the area. I got a kick out of that, I'd give those so many times over to get what shes done there lol... I never even got to go... Oh well though, it should be fun should I ever get to finish it.
Working on it every once in a while, maybe 5 mins at a time.. I hope it doesn't suffer from it.

Otherwise... idk I apologize for being so inactive... hopefully I can curb it by the end of the month.

Mountains lay all around these fields, almost insurmountable.
Their hard jagged peaks laugh as I look up, and the breezes that wrap around the cliffs toss powdered snow high into the air, providing a sparkling cloud of diamonds to tantalize my sight, yet only to fall down to chill my body later on. Such is the way of things in this world I have found. While things may provide a stunning sight to the eyes, try and get too close and you shall only find yourself wounded, superficially or mortally.
I have weathered the greatest storms in my life recently, the grasses mowed down by vicious winds that created bitter cold in my heart, and left my mind in a haze of gray gloom thicker than the worst of mountain fog.
No lanterns were there to lead me out. Abandoned by those close, I was alone to find my way through the gloom and back to the golden fields I have come to love so dear. The same golden fields that have become the comfortable prison in my own head.
It seemed as if the grasses would finally flower once again, green and blue as they do every spring. But all too often spring never comes, or is a long time in coming. And eternity those long waits can be, in the cold embrace of winter's night. Snow blows down from the peaks taunting the weary traveler that passes them by. Ice forms on the trees in the distance of the forests, providing a scene straight from the storybooks to which we all retreat during our greatest times of need. Escaping to those places in which we all fanaticized about as a young child, but upon entering the world came to found that those things just do not happen. Woe to the traveler who wanders into those icy forests, for death they will bring to you, even as you are enthralled by their beauty. Either by the cold, the wet, or the ever-falling branches that catches one unsuspecting.
It is safer to stay out in the fields; one is liable to live for longer, perhaps even happier. But what is life without trying to climb a few mountains, or enter a winter wonderland of sights one has never before held in their gaze? Nothing worth living for I suppose, so is it wiser to travel into these depths and live for a brief moment of pure joy and elation? I could not tell you. For every time I get close to entering a place of wonder, or surmounting the peaks around me I fall so far and can never behold the wondrous sights that I would behold beyond them, that would make life worth living.
Falling, always falling, never embraced by the wind to fly. No, flight is reserved for the birds, while one might wonder as to how, it will only lead to pain when they are taken back into earth’s embrace. Flight for some, but it always ends miserably it seems.
So to the golden fields I shall remain, never stopping to enjoy the sight. Never climbing the mountains to see all there is to see. Never flying high above the grasses on the wind. And never to enter the icy wonderlands that so embrace a cold heart. I shall bear my own lantern, and continue on until I finally fall to the ground never to rise again. Which I can hope is soon, for I cannot carry more…

The whole time you're debating is he sane? Is he insane? What is he really up to? And when all of it comes together, it's like omg BRILLIANT!
Christian Bale has definitely solidified himself as the ultimate Batman in my opinion. The movie was just so Dark, and he just fits it so well.

And the unexpected (for me) introduction to Batman's little ole friend Harvey. Harvey Two-Face as they called him back at the station. Heads its amazing, tails he failed. Uhh.... heads thank you! That was what really sealed the movie for me was the psychological parts of it and this one was the best of them all.

Honestly I gave it 5 stars, as it had everything but overly done mushy love scenes. It was subtle, surprising, and always kept me going. But dang, GO SEE IT!!!! You will not be sorry at all.

I am 90% not going to China My dad notified me over the weekend that he is going to have to have surgery on his stomach. Which will knock him down for 4-6 weeks. Which means I will need to be around to make him rest and not over-do it and not let it heal properly, the reason hes having to have another procedure there.

I have also been suffering from migraines that my doctor and neurologist's little pain scale said were a 10/10. So I had to have a bunch of tests done Friday making me miss classes, and such. These have been making me miss classes so I am a bit behind, yet I am somehow keeping up lol. They do not know whats going on, but I will keep ya posted should it be not good and keep me from bein on here.


So I think I critiqued about 500 pieces last week haha, and am still doing so. Thanks for the response on Pan Lee, it has really inspired me to do more original/book characters and such.
Right now I am working on Project Dancer, well I'm calling it that right now off of the first character of the project. If you have read the books or are interested check the WIP, I am seeking crits [link] I will also be doing Kalam Mekhar, and Quick Ben in this project at least, and if they go well then I hope to add in Fiddler, Coltaine, and more. (They're Malazan characters lol, Reaper's Gale Next Tuesday I cannot wait!!!!!!)
I am halfway done with The Face of Boe, that is proving quite the challenge indeed. More so than I had initially expected.
Projects Kerrakk and Starjammer are coming along.


Expect these to be posted in the next 2-3 weeks. Mid terms are next week, then Spring Break

But awesome encounter... I can say it now since my dad cannot strangle me for telling haha
So my mom had pneumonia this weekend and I had to cover for her at their music store.
So this guy walks in, big shades and a tobaggon on his shaved head. My dad didn't recognize him right off the bat because he treated him like anyone else, greeted him and offered to help if he needed.
I had to turn around and stifle a fanboy scream of glee (Copyright 2008 jp)
I walked out from behind the counter, trying not to smile, and said "I am going to see you with Bon Jovi in March man, you rule."
He missed a step, then I continued to help him as anyone else, I wasn't about to blow it then. My dad did perk up to that though it was funny.
He bought a pair of drum sticks for his son, I sold him drumsticks! Oh my god!!!
I told him that my dad didn't recognize him, so lets play it cool. So he went up paid with his card, and not until he signed the receipt and my dad read the signature C. Daughtry did he recognize that standing before him, in his little store was none other than Chris Daughtry

See he lives in town, and I knew it was just a matter of time. He promised to stop back soon when hes back in town so I can't wait, maybe he'll play some or something

But ye, I haveN't really come down from that high all weekend even though it sucked. Lol I MET CHRIS DAUGHTRY!! Gosh I'm so small town

Well right now I am high on life, when I shouldn't be.
I might not be going to China after all (Personal choice, Instead I'll be going elsewhere, I'm thinking England/Ireland). Problem is when my parents told me I couldn't go a month and a half ago I started making plans for May. Suddenly I got changed, anyways. Yea I have to make that choice, on top of this one...
Some douchebag called the pound on my doggies. (The adorable ones in all the pictures). Since I have been off to school they have been cared for, but not as much as I could provide when I was there all the time. Apparently someone is trying to stir up trouble as well (I think I know who), so this weekend I am going on a Crusade to rescue my doggies and then kick some major neighborly ass. My dad told me that'd land me in jail, but I was like "Messing with my dogs is like messing with me personally, you don't take away members of someone's family and not expect to have trouble from that family."
Problem is the prime suspect is like a 70 yr old grumpy man who had triple bypass surgery lol. I am scared of giving him a heart attack, but dammit if he didn't have it coming all these years. (He's a guy who yelled at 8 yr old boys because their ball rolled in his yard alot, and who hates kitties, and who loves his yard more than anything else lol)
Yeeeaa.... thats been bothering me all week.
On top of that I caught the flu thats been sweeping across the school. So this week I have been Nuking my body with a warhead of Vitamin C goodness, and lots and lots of Fiber. On that not I do not recommend sitting and eating 6 apples at once haha.

But I had a major presentation today on the Meiji government. And I once again proved Improvisation pwns all. Me and my partner completely kicked major academic booty.
And I am really high right now it rules.
Forget the sick, forget the anger and rage, I pulled off a major presentation.

Plus I get to see Victor Wooten tonight
And the Dual 125's are today. Woot.
And I get free dinner

Then tomorrow I go home and find out who's behind the imprisonment of my adorable puppies. And lash out with a few choice words in several languages and hopefully it won't be physical.

2 major tests next week.
I will try and turn out some more art pieces. Got about 4 almost ready so hopefully they'll be up soon.

I GET TO GO TO CHINA FOR 3 WEEKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I wish I could make those bigger letters to further express my excitement because I have been downright giddy since.)

Lol I have already been told to keep away from processed foods, and all that. Plus I trust the teachers who I am going with not to lead us astray hehe.

But yea, I shall definitely be taking my camera and snapping as many pictures as I can.
It is as close to a dream trip as i will ever get, the only thing we won't be doing is seeing the Great Wall. But the Terra Cotta Army, and such is on the itinerary.
Plus we will be spending a lot of time in Cheng Du, which is one of my favorite cities thanks to the Three Kingdoms period (Which I hope to visit a couple of those tombs)
......AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait

Thats both good, because I am finally getting back to the art grind, getting paid to do it (Thanks man you know who you are ), and having fun. But it also means I have a lot to burn off lol.
I'll tell ya what, it has been a hectic two weeks...
My dad has a new job, got a horizontal promotion that has given him the job security he so desperately needed, (We all said by to his replacement Rajish), but he gets nearly no sleep, its like 3x the amount of work for the same pay... which is not what he needed in the long run but oh well.
My mom has made herself perpetually sick with her inability to move on from her mother passing back around the 7th. So I have had to be covering for her a lot which is not good on my car lol.
School has been a bear, but it is supposed to be. What it is not supposed to be is having a Dean call you an asshole for trying to plead your case to graduate on time. I reported the incident, and might be transferring out of this school, a 3-peat of national football championships is nice, but its not the most important thing about school.

Okay life is a bear but oh well, its so much better from what it was, likely because the past two days have been in the 50's and I think I have S.A.D or whatever that is (I honestly do because there is a considerable mood shift winter-spring)
But also because I have decided to stop pursuing people and just stay out of people for a while.
Talked to the girl who I liked the other night, and the conversation went great, well actually it was horrible. I was a real (expletive) and such, but in the end I was nice and so was she. But it ended in her saying "Well I have to go, I'll call you back sometime... well maybe not for a while.. maybe not forever I don't know"
That just broke my heart for the last time and I was just like screw it you're not worth it lass.

Picked a fight too, I won't get in trouble so I can say it. 3 fellows were selling the kids in the neighborhood some weed when I got back. I saw em as I was driving down the street, saw one pull his hand back and say "shit," I pulled over, asked what they thought they were doing. They were high (in their defense) and though being smart about it would get em out. I was like "hell no you aren't selling 10-12 yr olds weed, one of em got pissed and threw a punch at that. I downed em in a few moments, they were horribly off balance because of their state hehe. I patted em down, took the bags (4 in all, all relatively small) and went back home. I burned it all about an hour later in a small leaf fire I needed to do to get rid of some lawn waste. They threw a fit but I was just like be lucky I don't like the cops else I'd be sure your rears would be spending the night in a cell.
Told em I would be back next week and promised to keep in touch with the kids (I have their facebooks) and such.
I am no nonsense about that kind of thing, I don't really care anymore if any adult does it, but when you are trying to sell to kids you are just trying to get them hooked so you can get their small change...



So yea... that was interesting I suppose. Gave some life to my boring day at least lol.


I am still taking any and all commissions to help my friend out, by the relative non-existent response I know I'll get no bites, but I am still offering because it really is so very important to me.
I am likely to post something here for my SWG friends I will be offering prints for them should they choose to donate/help out.
And I will be sticking to the Star Wards theme for a while probably.

Okay thats the short update heres the big question



Yea, one of my friend's mums is sick, and I really want to do something for her. She is quite the inspirational person, and I respect few as much as I do her.

So my question is, are there any of my works any of yall have ever looked at and thought, I would like to have that one. (I doubt it it is a long shot )
If so comment and let me know. I am thinking of sticking a few of my more liked pieces up for auction, and opening some sort of commissions for real if anyone is interested (Again a long shot, I'm not really good enough for commissioned pieces In my Opinion, but some of yall seem interested.)
I am reasonable on rates and shtuff, still trying to figure that out, but it'll like be around 10-20 for a sketch, and maybe a little more for a piece along the lines of [link] or [link] all things will be via mail or something, not digital things.

Bad News: I think when I sliced my finger a few weeks ago it did more damage than initially thought. I was in Shock so couldn't concentrate on the wound, and my family has queasy stomachs lol, but I know I saw bone.
The doctor said I saw joint, I think i might've done some damage to the joint which is inhibiting me from bending my middle finger without an immense amount of pain.
I tried to work on my new drawing today with the shading and finite things, and just couldn't do it. And this is the time of year where I do most of my work because I'm always snowed in...
Oh well sorry but more delays sorry..........

Back to good news:
Snow!!!!!!!!! Lol I can snowboard so thats fun. Did that last night for the first time in years, and hope to get back up there again tomorrow, still have a free lift coupon to use.

Bad News: Im out of money and starving!!!!!!!!! *Tummy rumbles like in a good anime* Poor college student FTW.

Good News: My best friend asked me to write a story for him and its gonna be lots of fun. So if anyone really is interested in me posting literature then do tell me, they have really low views and comment rates so I never know.

Bad News: I expressed my feelings to the girl I really liked, and she basically kicked me out of not only her house but her life... I was torn up for a day, but the words of her bf (Long story, their not really in it for each other) kinda made me be like I'm done with this crap. "You wouldn't be here now if his words really mattered to you" for someone who believes in everything he says and keeps his word and honor because thats all he really has, its really rough..

Good News: I get to watch anime for a term paper! Rofl isn't that just hilarious what universities have come to now? Sure I am excited, but really can't be to thrilled because its kinda like WTF?! But yea, Meiji era and the effects on the philosophies presented in the Hagakure and Book of Five Rings FTW (And Rorouni Kenshin FTW!!)

Bad News: I was checking out my gallery stats and it seems that I am the only person i have seen to have a lower gallery view and comment count than pageviews. I really don't know how to take this, at first I was like its just all the journals. But now Idk if my stuff is really any good. I have always doubted my abilities, and rightly so, I'm not as good as half the people I watch or check out, no matter what friends and family say (They're supposed to say stuff like that)
So I might take a break from here for a while or something.


Ahh well enough of the old cartoony titles haha.
Classes are going to be a tough mountain to climb, but I will definitely do so with success.

And I have to move back in and get my classes straight in the next week.
And my heart is just killing me at the moment.

My family is not helping at all and Idk what to do, and I know whatever I do it won't be the popular decision...
They are pushing me into going and "be supportive" of my mother (Which I will do but I have non-conventional means because I abhor being in places of death, and mourning the dead (No offense meant, just my personal belief of they are in heaven now, they're so much better off than we are the only thing to be sad of is that you wont get to see them for many years. No one I have ever talked to seems to understand this and it just makes things worse.))
And I always get temperamental at these times and no one seems to get that I don't mean to be snappy but its just how I get... and that just makes things worse.

So yea, people said I had to tell that story...
So I always make people gifts for Christmas, I really do dislike buying them things unless it is just the perfect fit. (I.e. I bought a good friend of mine a Monty Python's Flying Circus DVD only because she absolutely adores it and was in fact the perfect gift.) Well lo and behold she was the only one to get one that wasn't just a hand drawn card, even those were late or sloppy.
I was making this girl who I find quite special in more way than one one of the best practice swords/walking sticks/many things in one lol. Decided one morning (2 AM) I wasn't yet tired or done for the day picked up my knife and started carving the Mandarin character for Fire into the handle of this thing. The knife stuck and I pulled too hard, it ripped lose and into the middle joint of my right hand's middle finger.
Bone and everything was exposed, lol I went into shock and got all sick, yet since I am a general guy I was still like "This is so awesome!" while trying not to scream from the peroxide lol. My dad was like put a bandage on it and we'll get it stitched in the morning.
5 stitches later in the morning I got home and saw I was never going to finish before the party where I'd see everyone because I had this huge splint on my finger.

Everyone asked "omg what happened to you?" and such, then went on not caring even though I passed out like 22 cards (Which since they're hand drawn I call legitimate gifts).
Got nothing from anyone which is normal.

Oo and my other hand was hurt too when my brother slammed all 4 fingers of my left hand (Not the thumb) in a drawer in a burst of anger because he couldn't get a damn spoon out that was stuck. I told him to hold on, reached in to fix it, and he slammed it shut.
I was already angry and him and hit his arm. Hard enough to bruise my hand, but not as hard as I could else he would have flown farther.
I was on my knee holding my fingers and my dad rushed in and about took my head off, I ducked and stuck my bleeding fingers in his gut and said "Rethink that plan." (Didn't hurt him just poked to let him know I had him beat)

My family has been hell since I got home... Got home during my bout with the flu with a Sinus Infection on top. Ended up raking the yard with a 102 fever (Down from 105 the previous day), because my dad wanted it done and because my brother is a lazy asshole.
Then been working at my parents store for 5 bucks an hour (Which is soooo not that much, state min wage is 6.15 or something like that) My dad says "I don't have to pay you, so be happy with what you get."
He has been jipping me on money for the past month, it really sucks. I make him pay me daily because he tends to forget if you let him sit on money for a while. Right now he owes me about 200 dollars and is denying it like the plague.
My brother is a little pussy, seriously, when I hit him in the arm he literally crumpled to the ground crying, then I am not kidding on this, went running into the den to his mommy. He was trying to advocate the point "Make him leave now!!"
Not to mention he is literally spying for them in the whole "Religious debate" thing thats going on right now. Which is just more solidifying my points and hurting theirs when it comes to my views on religion right now. They should pick up that if I am having such a hard time right now and have been for quite a while, and my faith isn't hurt then I'm not doing anything wrong when it comes to God.

Oo and the old "Omgsh I haven't seen you in forever we have to hang out!" curse has struck again several times this break. A lot of people who I thought wanted to hang out with me because they said they wanted to have backed out as soon as they found out I was serious and wanted to chill.
"Oo I have to work that night," was my fav, when she doesn't even have a job within 5 states of here if at all.
And about 6 others have backed out as well its rather saddening... perhaps thats why I have been so sick... idk.

Shoot and I want to leave too, like seriously. I want out of here till the end of the coming semester. But I can't because there is too much here that needs my doing.
Getting a new computer out of necessity, but my dad is sitting on that and is delaying for a long time.
Have to clean the house and take care of my doggies because no one else is.

Its a mouthful but it takes up space.
Finally decided to take a break and write something else, because things have been getting brighter.
(lol I'm so used to hitting Ctrl+S after every sentence in Word)

Got my Term Papers done, seriously I did a dance, not as big a dance as I did when I finished Nano, but still a poorly choreographed dance is still a dance in expression.
My Star Wars paper ruled at least to me. Was hilarious the teacher said give an extensive bibliography so I made it like 3 pages long.
My Indians paper was heated enough to probably get a good grade which is good.
And this Medieval Europe paper is pretty kick ass. My teacher just put the Mongols as a footnote in the class, but they did alot more than she gives them credit for. More than the Vikings, her love child. (Nothing against the Vikings they rule in my book, but when everything is credited to the Vikings in Medieval History it kinda gets old.

It is such a great feeling when you finish something you put alot of time and work into, thats why I do Nanowrimo. My writings aren't good enough to get published so its just my way to express myself more than I can in my artworks.
When I write I see it in my head like a movie, its really kinda awesome. I don't realize it at the time, but I get into this "zone" where I'm just looking off into space but am seeing everything. One afternoon in particular I spent 6 hours at the computer and don't remember even looking at the computer screen, I was just in that kind of "zone."
This one was not my best, that was by far last year. But it was still fun which is what I think is important. I wish I was good enough to get published, I've found that thats kinda my true love. It's what I long for all year long and look forward to no matter how much the added stress.
Lol I can't tell my family these exist, if you wonder why here's why. They are so incredibly close minded its not even funny. When I was meeting with Grey Wolf this last weekend he told me many stories I'm not supposed to know and I believed him fully, I tend to be fully open to other people's ideas I think its fun and leads to a more full sense of understanding. I told my mom one of the stories he told me I could tell people, including in my paper about a spiritual experience, she laughed it off at the time. And then as soon as she got home that evening spent 30 mins (Of my tuning her out) lecturing me on how God is good and God is always right, and how God is this and that and that and this. I'm Christian but I hate having it pushed upon me like they do.
Anyways if they knew I was writing fantasy about demons and gods and such they'd have like a f'ing exorcism or something.

While I had to spend Thanksgiving dressed up like a surgeon and having to sterilize every time I left the room. It was still nice to see her and such, she was apparently doing much better which was nice
Not to mention even though the girls are being total pricks I don't really care anymore, its really nice. Really, really nice. Like seriously I can't express how nice it is lol.
Things pass, and writing really helped out. Some of my characters actually progressed and became more as I got over those feelings it was rather funny at some points. Especially today, yes I'm trying to finish it, but it will be done later on probably exams are coming.
Which I am not stressing over because I have not 1 cumulative final. Which is sooooo nice.


I've started my 3rd annual Christmas Card Giveaway Blowout Extravaganza of Christmastime Happiness and Joy. And Present Giveaway Spectacular.
This year I have about 25-40 cards to draw up, about 5 Original designs up from last year's 3. And I am hand carving 3 wooden knives for some friends who cosplay/could use them lol. Along with spending most of my money on presents for those who really don't deserve em but its just my nature lol. (Though i am thinking of giving a lump of coal to one or two people)

Oh well, for DA I will try and run a feature or something for kool people.

But once I get past December 12th it will all settle down quickly and nicely.
Tommorow will be rough to start things, my grandmother whom we were going to eat Thanksgiving dinner with has developed a Staph Infection, so she can't eat with us. Instead we will go and visit her, completely decked out in surgical gowns, masks and gloves since its so highly contagious. We won't be allowed to touch her or get near, but I might risk it to give her a hug, as it will probably be my last time to do so. I've already decided I am going to try and pull off a Dr. House and take my deceased grandfather's cane and try and lighten everyone's hearts since my family is just a ticking time bomb and so it'll either help or give them a direction to vent.
Friday wont be fun. I have to go to the mall (Which is torture by itself). But besides that I have to track down a Native American and try and get an interview for a paper. Then I have to go and face all the people I don't want to face at the football game, my high school is playing in the state playoffs.
Saturday, Appalachian made it to the Playoffs so I might go to that game, either way I have massive papers to write.
Sunday Papers.
Monday Papers.
Teusday papers.
Wednesday... you get the picture.

The after the papers come exams so its craziness to the extreme.
I will finish my Nano project, but it's not as deep as I had wished it would be, but sadly I just have to go with it.

*Begin Rant* (I really need to let this out sorry)(Skip if you wish no feelings will be hurt)
So the school dropped half of my credit hours abruptly, and I had to fight all last week to get half of those back. Which is total Bull Shit. And then yesterday they insulted me by telling me "I wasn't smart enough to carry eight classes," to catch up. (Just FYI I've done that before and made Dean's List). I am honestly considering transferring to a different school, even if it doesn't have as good a History program as this one. It is just not right to be insulted and screwed over like it was nothing. And all my father had to say was two things "How much more is this going to cost me?" And "Thats life for you." (The last one is true)
So this girl I feel for over the past few months hooked up with some guy she hardly knows, didn't even know his name until she asked him out. And did that right in front of me too, it took everything I had not to break down right there. I had taken her out to a great day at the Ren Faire, and then got what she claimed to be the perfect birthday present, being a 140 yr old copy of the Complete Works of William Shakespeare. While he played Mr. cheezy romantic and got her roses (Which she told me she hated).
Then my Ex-gf (From summer/September) got in a car accident Saturday night on her way home from grocery shopping. She blamed me for it since I had called her 15 mins earlier (And was off 15 mins prior). Nothing can stick so its not a legal matter, just hurts that shed do that.
THEN, this girl I know, she has to be one of the most inspirational people anyone could meet. (Shes the Sergeant BTW, she has a nasty tendency to be violent lol). But still, she is going through much of what I am or have. Her grandmother just passed, my grandfather passed a few months back and my grandmother will be lucky to make it past thnxgiving. Her mother is having Knee replacement surgery, my mom had that a few years back so I know how its like. I must be an empath or something because I just crumbled with her Sunday night and she was doing the same. It just hurt... so bad...
Lol and since I was so hurt by the girl I liked, I was vulnerable and accidentally started liking her for about 12 hours, which sucked.
On top of that, my alarm broke and went off at 3 AM not allowing me to sleep this off which is what I tend to do. Making things so much worse.
Then the school continued to insult me yesterday. It is ridiculous.

Lets just say that I am so worried about myself right now that I have moved every object with an edge out of my room, and keep my meds under lock and key now....

I need a break so bad. I need someone real bad... but I've almost convinced myself I'd be happier alone, I can't get hurt then.
It seems the nice guys finish last.....

So it seems that the weather outside is reflecting the true nature of
people's hearts these days. Cold.
I've just been getting sicker and sicker of everything of late, it actually made my physically sick for a couple days there for a while.
On Halloween night went out with my now (newest) ex and had a great time, got a great haul of candy. Went over to my old ex's neighborhood to hang out with some friends who sadly lived 3 houses down from her. Well we got there and come to find out everyone went there because she had Guitar Hero (No not the new one), went got more candy then stepped up and went there.
Knocked on the door, her dad came to answer the look on his face when he saw me was priceless. Well he calls her in and she didn't even acknowledge my presence, quite literally she just looked through me while conversing with friends. Not that thats not unwelcome given our history, just hurts when that happens, and is really cold.
Well a couple more things happened equally cold. But today... his afternoon to be exact was the final straw.
The bus is always packed coming out of class in the afternoon, everyone wants to get home and whatever. Well today its like 38 degrees outside with a 30 mph wind, no where near pleasant but bearable.
Well the bus comes and everyone pushes and shoves to get on, its no holds barred, why? Because the bus is heated lol. I don't have to push, i Look scary enough as it is, but with my hair blowing around like medusa's snakes or w/e its quite impactful.
Last in line for the bus was a mother and her come to find out later 2 1/2 yr old daughter and 6 month son, the bus driver shuts the door in her face because she'd be standing in front of the white line.
I kinda lost it after a second seeing no one was going to do anything.
I stopped the bus, and started shouting at people right there calling them out, 3 people on their cell phones got the brunt of it. "What the hell, is your conversation so important we have to hear half of it the whole time? You lot are obviously not late for anything so why not let them on while you finish your conversation??"
Some girl who had been whining about just wanting out of the cold because it was so miserable got a rant about how people have lived in the Arctic Circle for centuries, so shes not going to die any time soon from a little bit of brisk weather, but that 6 month old could get really sick.
A guy sitting there in his bloody parka got it from me on my way out, lol that ended in him being a pansy.

I got off and told her to get on and take my seat, come to find out a second later someone had jumped in my seat, i stepped back in the door and glared them out, that was funny on my part.

I sat and waited in the cold until the next bus came and got home just fine, no problems after that.
Lol I full well expect to get on the bus tomorrow morning and find a picture of me with the word Banned on it. But I'd be fine with that, its only a 3 mile walk perfectly manageable and I'd have a clean conscious too.

That wrath though stemmed from earlier in the day when I found out that I had been demoted from a "technical" Senior to a Sophomore in credits in college. Which is total BS.
The phone conversation with my dad is not going to be a pleasant affair, and I'm just furious at the school for not counting so many of my hard earned credits that they had promised me they would take.
I'm not gonna let that one sit either.

So NaNoWriMo update... I have 12,000 words as of right now and am on schedule, surprisingly.
No one has really read or offered crit or anything on the work so far so idk if I am doing well or not.

I plan to finish by the 25th, and then take a nice long break.
Though that plan is likely to change as I have 3 term papers due successfully on the 25th 26th and 27th.
One on the Nature of Ch'i (Qi) from a Daoist perspective.
One on Native American Land Claims in North Carolina, or Moundbuilder stuff.
And idk what the Medieval History one will be on, but I bet it'll be on something in Medieval History probably.

Those will take up a lot of time, especially the Ch'i one, as I have a mostly Buddhist perspective on that one. So lots of research on that I suppose.
Oh well, I have some more writing to do, some S-cry-ed to watch, and then House.
Ack! DAMN THOSE WRITERS FOR GOING ON STRIKE!! I'm gonna lose it if mid-season Heroes just ends on like the biggest question of them all! Or House when he's about to let his old team back in!!

YAY!! I must say that was alot of fun, I've never really enjoyed writing poetry too much with all that its associated with these days (I've written my fair share of those though), but Haikuwrimo allowed me to finally be able to branch out and write some things that poetry is really meant for. (I will post the final ones later on)
Hopefully when I get done with all my school work in December I can work on a few pieces to give them some visual counterparts and maybe do a book or something of em.

BUT as this challenge ends, the biggest one of the year for me begins.
Nanowrimo starts tommorow YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! I'm so scared lol, my story outline so far isn't as strong as last years, and I didn't have as much time to develop my characters as I did last year.
Not to mention three term papers from some strict teachers. And some serious plans during alot of November. It's gonna be a real task, but honestly I can't wait. Thats the whole reason to do this thing, to overcome everything else successfully and write a novel at the same time. That feeling when you get done that last week of November is like nothing else in the world.

But right now I am feeling defeated. The girl Ive been quasi seeing ended things abruptly Monday night. She said that I have the inability to accept defeat and that it really bothered her. Well this time I've accepted defeat and feel really bad right now.
I suppose thats a good thing, I'll use that pain and turn it into my work, so hopefully it'll end up being a good thing.

**Eunja- Kai's first mate, loyal to a fault and has never let his captain down.

Kentato Gimile of Lossedom- Lord of Lossedom, the far southern polar regions. He is a strong man, and famed for his use of the Axe of the Ice Phoenix. His men are famed and feared on the seas as able raiders.

Lord Aka Polatrensen- Lord of Denjii, the large island stretching far to the north. His men are hard and cold like their lands, and his ships are equally tough. He and Kentato Gimile of Lossedom and Fenako Tetakishi of Taka pioneered the Ice Breaker class of ship. He is not a religious man

**General Vladimir- Polatrensen's main general, more able on land than the seas.

Lord He Fei Kenta- Lord of the Island nation of Chou. He is a highly religious man who frequents the Falls of Pure Spirit. His lands are famed for their use of large speedy catamarans and for their hit and run tactics. He is almost blindly brave and revered by the majority of his people.

The fetus room just solidified my views on abortion (No I don't want to get political, but I must say if you have a view on either side, go see this it will show you it's something wrong.) It was jaw dropping to see the mother and baby, about brought a tear to my eye.
What did bring a tear to my eye, was a case that went pretty much ignored by the friends I brought. The lung case was hard for me. My grandmother is suffering from Lung Cancer right now, and my other grandparents except my recently passed grandfather suffered from lung ailments from smoking.
I want to take my mom, she smokes, and has tried to quit many times. If that sight shook me so bad, it'll make her quit for sure.

If you live within 100 miles of Charlotte, NC its worth the trip I promise. A proper walk through takes about 2 hours and theres plenty to do there for the kids and or yourself (My friends were mezmorized by the simple machines contraption for about half an hour lol).

Living update: Well North Carolina, but they're close enough on the map.
Only 1 week till Nanowrimo, I'm so nervous. I'm honestly not too confident in my story this year. Its a continuation of last years, but still... Idk different people, its the 3rd segment of 3 segments of the war. I've been waiting 3 years to do it and now I'm not so sure.
I already took a dare, it'll be easy enough to see who/what it is.
And yesterday I did a big no-no for me, I listened to some cross-inspiring music. Meaning, I got inspired for something else, not this one. And now it can get muddied together which is not what I want to happen.

Lol my roommate called me Iroh yesterday. We love Avatar, and if you don't theres something inherently wrong with ya. I laughed, but then realized tats what I'm gonna look like in like 10 years if I end up like my dad. So I got all depressed lol, I DON'T WANT TO BE GRAY AT AGE 30!! WAAAAAAAAHHHH

School is going well enough I suppose, I hate teachers who think they can teach class from Vietnam. Lol the baby she is trying to adopt is being investigated (hes a toddler mind you) for being a suspected terrorist That's too funny.
Whats not funny is we are 3 weeks behind schedule and she is giving a test Monday while her new son is still being investigated in Hanoi. No one is ready, and its total BS but oh well.

Life is interesting, I don't recommend quasi-dating for anyone, in or out not in the middle lol.
Nor do I recommend dating someone who is a super bitch who wants your attention so bad she'll ruin friendships just to get a phone call from you, no matter how angry you are. Never fun.


Anyways! Happier news.
Halloween is going to be awesome. I'm taking the kids out, then going to hit about 3-4 neighborhoods. I decided last weekend to scrap being a Hobo again and just be a Ninja. So I have to get everything ready and do some fast sewing. Not to mention try and get back into shape really fast (Hence the Iroh reference, I guess I could live with that he is the Dragon of the West after all ).
But yea... should be fun.

OMG How bout them Tigers??!! The Bayou Bengals, not the sissy Auburn Tigers. Lol thought I'd never live it down if my ex's school (her bother goes there) beat mine (Got friends there and they're just amazing so they're my team.) But how about that final call last night??!! My parents got so pissed cause I was yelling and screaming at the TV.

Art Update-
My grades are not good so far apparently. I'm pulling a 2.5 and thats just unacceptable. Not necessarily to me but to my dad.
And he is looking for any little thing to bring me down at this point.

Sure there are other contributing factors such as girl issues, friend issue, family, life in general. But my attention has been too much on my creative pursuits. I got lost in what I enjoy doing, and forgot (to an extent) about what I have to do

I'll finish Haikuwrimo, and still do Nanowrimo.
But anything else will come if it comes, only if I have totally free time.

Yesterday and today's Haiku's were supposed to be "Blinged" out but sadly I have a paper to work on and probably won't be able to.

Chalk/pastels with water first tests:
It works well on white paper only, black paper it kinda... well... disappears.
It showed brush strokes quite strongly when I tried. The less water the heavier the brush stroke showing. Too much water leads to kinda a messy coloration. I didn't get to toy with it too much, but the difference from water colors from what Ive toyed with so far is only a bit. Ill try and mess with it some more over the break, but from what I found I rather like dry chalk/pastels a bit better, while you can get some good effects (from what I found) it's gonna take quite a bit of practice.
Again though, this is just what I found initially, I'll see if I can find some more to toy with over the break

So anyone else doing either?

My ex did, but hell I know she wouldn't let me come to watch a "car show" ow, or even when we were dating lol.

Its been a wild emotional week, Highs and lows. High, was with someone very special. Low, when she broke things off b/c her ex got in the way by not letting things drop and subsequently confusing her about what was going on.
High, coming up here and turning in a awesome paper. Low, my dad being an idiot and not checking whether or not the computer worked.
High, getting some new toys to tinker with art wise. Low, realizing I know nothing about these toys I am tinkering with lol.
High, Buying a hardcover set of The Lord of the Rings, and then finding out its a great condition Second Edition set of LotR, worth a considerable bit more than the 10 bucks I paid for it. (I say this for later)
And so so so much more, but I'm boring you I'm sure.

Today my Daoism teacher announced a trip to China for about 3 weeks this summer. Its 3800 bucks, so I've figured I'm going to have to work at least 2 jobs to get the money in time if my parents won't help (Even though I'm going to use my oldest trick in the book. If your parents ever say "If its for school then we'll buy it for you" USE IT!!!!!!), and not to mention sell some of my more valuable possessions (Like the books). But yea they're going to visit the two places I want to see there, The Terra Cotta Warriors and Cheng Du. And much more, but those places are on my "Places I must see before I die."

But yea, right now I'm just exhausted. So much work, so much emotional roller coastering. Not to mention the season premier of ER is on.

Well I could only answer one of those questions, which is Robert Jordan passed away, as you read from my previous journal.
To me he was special because it was the first fantasy world I was ever introduced to, even before Middle Earth. Since then there has just been so much thats just flowed into me through his world and all the worlds his opened to me, and out from it has come the beginning of my own world. One person's vision can change lives I'm hopefully going to be doing a tribute piece to his vision, just have to find a quill and ink to finish it off.

The perpetual smile part, well I can't say. But its good

Hope yall liked the Claire Danes piece, it hopefully wont be the last of anything soon. I started on a Russell Crowe as Ben Wade, but we will see how that comes out (Hopefully good). And I might try and change things up a bit and experiment a little with different things ('Cept Charcoal, just can't do it) But school is getting backed up, after the next 2 weeks though its back to a lull for about 4 lol. Yay poor government institution educational planning giving us such long times practically off

Ive made just a few friends, but those come with time. I've found I have this strange fascination with public transportation rofl, Though the bus was obscenely off today idk... its just interesting lol. Ive spent the majority of my time on campus this week reading my book or doing some drawing (Ill post a WIP in a bit if I feel up to it.)
But yea, Ive been sick all week too, my dad brought me some food, sausage included with it, of course it is a 2 hr drive up here (1 hr if your me and have a blatant disregard for the speed limit lol), well it turns out that it didn't make it unspoiled and Ive been sick ever since I cooked it Tuesday evening, culminating tonight :'( (Ironically tonight I ate smoked sausage, so sausage is on my bad list right now). But you just gotta push through the pain sometimes and get what needs to be done done. A lesson everyone learns I suppose.

I've rather become more comfortable up here than home it turns out, at home I wake up with a dread of the day, up here I wake up with a smile wondering what the day holds.

OO And the play back home is awesome, I mean its community theatre, but it is realllly awesome. I would tell everyone to go see it, if everyone was local lol.

But Yea the attention getter, Fire!
Lol yea I almost burned the apartments down tonight cooking dinner, I was boiling some water for the rice in my recipe, turn around to watch a play on the TV (NFL Kicked off tonight yay!!) turn back around 20 seconds later and the burner is well... burning!! And they were quite large, about 1/4 of the stove, so I reached in and turned the water over on the fire.
So yea... needless to say I need to call matinence tomorrow morning.

But I have to go back down AGAIN this weekend, my gf's bloody rabbit died last night and shes a wreck. I gave her such a hard time about my grandfather if I don't show up Ill never hear the end of it.

So yea... I'm working on whatever I fancy at that moment, currently Its Claire Danes, I have spent about 5 hours on one side of the hair alone, I really want to crack the secrets of realism, so I'm spending mass time on this one, showing more patience than ever before.
So pray with me this one will top Captain Hector Barbosa, the one I feel is my best so far.

Lol so I've moved in and everything is going. Doesn't mean its going well, my anxiety is acting up which is no fun. I'm gonna start on something for that probably within the week, I really cannot worry about that right now.
My computer died the first morning of classes, and no I shit you not. How unlucky can one person be?? Pretty bad for that to happen.
I miss my gf like mad right now, and she misses me, but apparently her reaction to missing someone greatly is anger. My reaction was honestly "What the Fuck?" Is that a common reaction or no? Seriously things were great since I moved out with us (only way i can word that no getting away wasn't the answer lol), until she said that....
Lol also discovered I am dating a total wimp, my ex called tonight and told me the reason she was down so much the day she visited me is because she was pregnant, and that the other day she miscarriaged :'( She also told me that she was back to work the next day (I was like holy crap), lol m gf called in sick b/c she had a "touch of a headache" tonight. Wow... yea.
(Lol my ex created a new surgery last week too, (Stop now if you have a weak stomach) ....Penal Reconstruction Surgery... Yes I shit thou not, she had to put Humpty Dumbass back together again. He was riding his motorcycle showing off to someone and crashed, basically tore it to pieces, and they had to put it back together again, sadly it wont properly work again they suspect. )

One of my teachers wrote the book, so that basically means "No matter how hard you try you wont do well sorry." Basically I'm gonna drop that one ASAP lol.

But on the good side, my roommates are pretty kool. We should get along just fine this year, which is rather nice I suppose.
One of my teachers is a crazy old man, those classes are always fun, because they love what they do more than they care what they grade. (Most of the time)
I got time to read (Not much else to do, I cant figure out the Cable channels up here rofl)

Not to mention its given me some time to do some art stuff, which is kool. So hopefully some stuff up soon.
AND just today Ive gotten some great photographs, and yesterday I missed a Prime chance at an amazing sight, but hey I didn't see the storms coming lol.

**Relationship worries skip if your sick of it**
Well Saturday afternoon i went to break up with her but we resolved everything peacefully or so I thought.
Apparently at dinner with some of my good friends that evening, i stepped away from the table and the gf said something to the extent of, "He came over to break up with me, but I talked him out of it, I won. I so got him under my thumb right now."
Now a note to any girl who might be reading this, THAT IS THE WRONG THING TO SAY it will bite you in the ass!
As it probably will her heh.
Not to mention after promising not to go anywhere after she got back from Italia, she decided to pop it up on me on friday that she was going to be gone Sunday-Wednesday b/c her brother "needed help moving in" (Even though she told me all she was going to be doing was keep the dog happy. Ill tell you what, that dog is treated more human that most anyone in that house.)

Hung with one of my best friends today, she talked me into helping the local production of Jesus Christ Super Star. They need artists for the set hehe, Which Im stoked about. Shes the one who let me in on what happened above for those who read, and those who didnt dont worry about it.
So whats funny is I will be coming down this weekend, next weekend, and the two after that possibly to help out and see the show. Rofl I just cant move out fully!!!

Lol have to go get vaccinated tommorow, apparently there is some state law that mandates everyone gets a Meningitis vaccine before venturing off to college. I guess thats smart but they could have told me before the last week before i go in.

Also I got my DC United jersey today, I wore that with pride. As well as Chelsea opened up with a winner to this season's opener. Though I must say it was close when it shouldn't have been.

I saw Stardust on Friday night, and it is a must see for anyone with a bf, gf, husband, wife. Its a really good love sotry, and a good movie overall. Idk if it really deserved the title of "the next princess bride" there were many parts where the ghost's humor could have made the movie as such but they didnt capitalize. Overall
A quality fairy tale, more for the family. (Than lets say another quality fairy tale, Pan's Labyrinth lol)


**Question**
I was quite confused today feeling wise as to the sentencing of a local news anchor who I really liked.
Tolly Carr, a local news anchor for our NBC affiliate, and the best sports reporter in NC, killed a young man back in March. This shocked everyone in town that this would happen.

Today was his sentencing, after a rather quick and speedy trial for todays system. He was charged with Felony Death by Motor Vehicle, Felony Serious Injury by motor vehicle (His passenger which is an enigma to me all in its own), and DUI. He was sentenced to 24-39 months in prison, 24 being good behaviour, and 39 being what he'll serve if no good behaviour is preformed. The maximum is 5 years (60 months).

I feel he got off light, he killed a kid, whos loving family will never get to see him again. The boy's brother commented "When (Tolly) gets out of jail, his family will get to see him again, we will never get to see (Casey, boy who was killed) ever again."
Rather generic but true.

My question is, should people well known in the "society" be allowed to get off easier for their crimes because of public opinion or no?
Personally I say no, but I loved Tolly so I want want to say yes.

I remember Martha Stewart going to Camp Cupcake, and Paris Hilton getting a minor sentence, and any big political scandal to be gone easy on.

But yea, this is all so political now its not even humorous.

Girls make life more complicated.
I thought I was going out with somenoe amazing, who shared my stances on the big issues like sex, smoking, and drinking. But apparently I was wrong.
The second thing my gf said to me when she got back from Italy was that she rather enjoyed that the drinking age there was 16. So she got to have a few.
Now me being 20, taking things like that to be a big deal, and such went crazy. (Not until I got home of course, otherwise I wouldnt be referring to her as my gf anymore).
It just pissed me off to no end that someone who had taken a stand against her own brother about the issue, not a week before, would turn on it and be a bloody hypocrite so soon.
I respected her for taking that stand, against her own brother, and her brother's gf whom she admires alot.
But shes turned on that, and I feel betrayed and alone once again. Ive begun to question everything I stand for, I mean whats the point anymore?
All my friends have either turned on what they claimed to believe in as soon as it became convinient for themselves (I.e. Drinking sex, smoking, etc). I mean what do i stand for, and why? Its pointless to make a stand when its just for yourself.
People say they respect you for it, while going on and doing the thing that they "respect" you for.
They dont mean it. It wont make a difference. I just want to get away right now.... and yet I dont (Ever had that feeling)

Yea right now my life sucks, as proclaimed by friends and family, not myself.
My only surviving grandparent, my mom's mom is in the hospital with severe Pnumonia, my mom said shes getting better, even though she doesnt want to. She just wants to go to her bed at home and pass quietly, which I respect her for. But the timing couldnt be worse.
My mom is a wreck over this and the fact that "shes losing her babies too", my dad is still recovering from losing his dad last month.
I have had to take all of my "Go to England" fund and spend it on food to feed the family because money is just that tight here. (Lol the gf's parents, i love em, but they complain money is tight then went and bought a 40k lexus. Damn nice car but even funnier)
Friday afternoon I helped my 2nd family (I mean seriously, this 2nd mom has even spanked me lol. And her son has been my best friend since like I was 3 and he was 1. And the youngest daughter liked me better than her dad for a time, though I feel bad about that one). But that was rather though.
My gf doesnt seem to understand this at all, and is putting me 2nd to her summer job, even when I warned her not to.

On top of this (That had a point), I am packing my things to move out on the 18th. And my brother the 17th (Which Im pissed about, the Younger Brother moves out before the Older, wtf)

So yea very emotional times. Ive been drowning myself more in two books than drawing (see it had a point), George RR Martin's A Storm of Swords, and Steven Erikson's The Bonehunters; Now if you dont know thats 2400 pages of reading lol.
But for now its a better escape than drawing, so Maybe 1 thing before I go but not much, which Im sorry for.

Not to mention this computer with the working scanner is going into the shop sometime before I go, since I am taking it with me, because we honestly couldnt afford 2 laptops, so the favorite son got his and I got this desktop. Which Im not sore about, I can do more on this thing that on that thing so it works out in the end.

Idk if its too much to ask to keep me and my family in your prayers (rituals, chants, dances, songs, just no sacrificing goats please theyre kinda cute hehe), but if its not then please do, we really need em right now.

Lol I had a series of dreams last night, I have very vivid dreams that often rock me when I wake up and can change the course of my day, week, or more lol. And I work to interpret them all, its really fun, and can hep on alot of things. (This has a purpose lol keep reading)
One was me chasing a storm, one was me going out with someone who I asked out years ago, whos one of my good friends. (Ironically, she found the note yesterday (Without me knowing until I was writing this and my phone rang and she told me.)
One was me fighting someone Ive never seen before, those are always the most interesting.

But the one that shook me, was the one (And the first where i have been) where I was a doctor. I had just gotten done checking my last patients, and was about to leave for the night, when I saw a little girl who was sitting in a chair curled in a ball.
I sat down across from her and tried to talk to her, and finally got her to tell me whats going on. She told me first off though
"That your just a doctor on his way home why do you care?"
And I paused, then answered "It's just who I am."
We continued on, but I really dont recall the fine details of the conversation. I just remember in about 10 minutes dream time (Which is unknown outside time) we were walking her to a room, I promised Id visit again, and headed out.
Then went into another dream.


But it made me think. And I still am thinking. What am I supposed to do in life?
The big question that I have avoided like the plague.
Helping people is my calling I know, its what I have come to love to do. My childhood was rough, all my years have been rough, still are rough even today. And I just wanna help others so they dont have to go through it all alone.
But I dont have money for medical school.
I despise psychologists, and psychiatrists, because they just help from the book and for your check, they act sincere but really arent.

Lol Idk. Im stumped.
But then I thought, well I am taking my portfolio up to the university to get the instructors opinion on whether im really good or no.
Ive been turned down by the NC School of the Arts.
My friends said SCAD was so easy to get into, but then I dont really wanna go down to Savannah.

But I just want a professional opinion.

Then I had a thought ontop of all the others. Why not use my art to try and help lift spirts or something. Idk, something fun. I did that once.
One of my gf's cousin had a rare disease that was killing her kidneys and I drew her a big kinda card thing and sent it to her. I was told its hanging in her room right now, Ill apparently get to see it at Thanksgiving if I go with them.

Ahh well we'll see how that works out.

Anyways, all my other firneds hate her too, today i got 2 tickets to the baseball game, and need someone to go with. Since my gf is in Italy and squirming about her being here, I invited a different friend.
But the friend had to work. It happens. (Cept she works afternoons like normal teens)
I told her who was coming instead and she called in sick, and has two of her friends coming as well to make sure that the ex no show up

I got like an entourage or something. Its funny.
...Okay to me at least.

Yea I think so too.

Im totally stoked about going off to the university, but leaving her here will be tough. I know many of you know that feeling. But heck I figure we can get through that just fine, since I have structred my schedule so I can come visit on the weekends or so.

My heart goes out to all the flood victims in Britian right now. Id be there shovelling sand with ya if I could, but I lack the funds to get over there , and I doubt the Red Cross will send any help from local people, otherwise Id go for sure.
Stick through it, it shall pass

Started my own little coin collection in the past week, an intellectual mate has begun to have to sell some of his old Chinese coins, and with the prices they're at Ive picked a few up which I am totally stoked about.
Got my first 3 in today, A Shu-Han Ding Ping Yi Bai, and two Wei, Wu Zhus.
Wanted a Wu coin, but apparently there have only been 6 found and theyre worth thousands, and in museums besides lol.
And if you dont know Wei, Wu, and Shu, go check out Dynasty Warriors (Best first step), the Chinese Three Kingdoms period is about my favorite period in history. If I could I would write on that, but I doubt there is even a class on those anywhere.

Alright!! HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!
It was a most satisfying ending to the tale of the boy wizard. And All I can say without spoiling anything which I am trying NOT to do, I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha all my speculations came true, and my sticker that I got that night spoke true of Snape (Haha you know not which sticker I got therefore no spoiler.)

The best part of that night was picking up a stick calling it a wand, and with this little green light that hooks to my keychain i got from mym dad months ago, holding it up and shouting AVADA KEDAVRA!
That was some funny shit.

Upcoming from me, Optimus Prime is half shaded in, Likely Itll be next weekish. Know why??!!
YOU SHOULD! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows comes out DUH! And while I intend to finish it by saturday night/sunday morning (I wont sleep lol). But Chelsea! is playing the LA Galaxy, saturday night so itll likely be Sunday morning as I dont miss a Chelsea game when its on over here.

American football pre-season starts in a couple weeks. Im stoked about that, cant wait to see the Panthers back in action.

I have taken off work for her, but she didnt do the same for me. Ive always been there for her, she wasnt for me. Lol she even turned off her phone the night of the visitation (Arguably the roughest night for anyone in that situation.) because she was "tired" (At 10 Pm in the evening). Last night I let her know all this and she became a bumbling mass of tears, and promised to see me today.
Today apparently her grandma came over, her knowing full well, and so shes going to "spend the day with her" Lol her words were "Would you completly disown me if I spent the day with my grandmother?" (Inside I was like shit yea. But im too nice for that)
Oh well. But thats really been on my mind all this week, overpowering the fact that one of the greatest men I knew is gone. While that might be mainly my part, its just not right.

OH WELL, it is not wise to dwell on negative feelings. (Woot I rhymed im a rapper!)

Teusday night I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I must say I was rather impressed with it from a movie standpoint. It was well done, the CG was great, the story was rather choppy but you were able to keep up with it.
**Spoiler warning if you havent read the book**
But if you went because you liked the book prepare to be disappointed. They left out ALOT, the story was choppy at best, it was very anti-climatic at the end, and seriously when Dumbledore swoops in and fights Voldemort was it just me or Did I clearly see Yoda Vs. Dooku in Episode II all over again (Except Dumbledore wasnt doing backflips thank god, but it wouldve fit).

So Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, graded on the fact its a movie,

I just lost my grandfather, who really meant alot to me. He taught me so much without ever actually teaching. He was the one grandparent I told myself Id cry over, and yet right now all I can feel is relief that he isnt suffering anymore.
My relationship is in shambles, my gf isnt there for me right now "because she wanted space." Which we agreed on two nights ago before my grandfather crashed. And I really have to get that taken care of because its (ashamedly) taking up much of my thought given the situation.
I am getting ready to move out and go up to the university in a little over a month, thats just alot in itself.
My car is being rebellious, I have to get that fixed.
I gotta be there for my family right now despite them not really being there for me atm, but I really dont want to get into that right now.

Alas too much to say and not enough to say.

Hopefully I wont be gone long, but we will see.



**Edit* I know I promised Dumbledore to myself at least maybe yall i cant remember atm, before the movie. But thats relly not going to happen. Im so sorry.

Gf is back. Turns out shes alergic to Canada, or work one or the other. Either way shes rather ill with the alergies. Lol. She called in to work sick yesterday because I had gotten tickets to the movie a week prior, and she wouldnt stop complaining about how wrong it felt. I was like omgsh, your a teenager its what your supposed to do.

Ahh well, I love her anyways.

Home is busy, had orientation last week at the University. That was a joy (not). Gotta get my schedule fixed big time otherwise were in big trouble, time and insurance wise hehe.

It rained here quite a bit. Lol after not raining here for a month and a half, it practically hanst stopped raining since Barry came through. It is most welcome, everything is greening back up and my garden is flourishing, but its humid as can be and not to mention im cooped up inside half the time now lol. And when your in the moods ive been in this week its not good.
My gf has been driving me insane practically. With all this work bull shit, pardon the language. And now Begun the Friend Wars have.
Not fun.
My friends, and family tell me I am justified in voicing my apprehensions and distaste (Idk the word atm lol) at her job hours. But her friends say that I am just being selfish.
Lol I love it how the selfish always say theyre not being selfish... whoa.
Anyways Friend Wars never end well, I know that all too well. And the fact that she listens to her friends more than me really disturbs me. Im like at the bottom of her "Who I listen to the most" chain. Thats no good.

Ahh well. Yall dont want to ready my rantings! That makes my ratings go down!

Gf is showing her bad side right now and Im not liking it. Both my grandparents are in the hospital and my parents are worrying and busy with that. Lol my dad is so focused on work and his dad he has forgotten about his kids and I have to remind him everyday to give us some cash so we can eat at least once a day. Ive loaned him over 100 dollars for food alone since money is so tight, and with no current income thats is causing problems with the gf and dad. And a bunch of other stuff that has basically gotten my mind elsewhere.
And I guess I should mention that right now I am undergoing alot of medical tests and such, because I have been having unexplained headaches for a long time now. No medicines have helped. Tommorow I am having some muscleish tests to see if they can determine the twitching and spasiming. That has gotten me quite worried.

Any prayers to the diety of your choosing would be most welcome, and appreciated beyond measure right now. I have no right to ask, but I am.

Art wise, well I guess I could be called a full-time artist right now, even though i have about 10 applications in to possible employment opprotunities that are not calling back hehe.

And wow... 4000, thank you all once again! Ill offer something for 5000 maybe So get it there

I promise Ill get Harry Potter up this week, and Ill try to get Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore Up as well, I started him today just for fun.
Im still debating which wizards to stick on there besides He who shouldnt be named, Harry, and Dumblydore. Right now I got Lupin and Malfoy. I was thinking Black and LeStrange, but beyond that idk. Moody would be fun. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

I also started Luke Skywalker B&W the other day from ANH. That should be fun.

And my mask for the Venetian Mask contest from is coming along nicely. Not ask kool as I had hped but I wont whine.

Writing: Musings of the Stars Pt II, is coming slowly, halfway through Chapter 3 since I decided to scrap it and start over.
The Origional Gift of the Dragons, is getting a facelift and will be shared upon completion (Though im only like 1/50 through)
And another project I hope to share come the proper time

Drawing: Im doing the Carnival of Venice Contest, and of course me being me I am doing something overly special. But thats top secret until I reveal it.
Luke Skywalker, I think will be my next drawing, I already got the basic sketched out.
Harry Potter project, I got Dumblydore started since I got Harry done. I wont put Harry up till I put Dumblydore up since Harry has something unique about him that Dunblydore would have to be up to properly explain.

Well my brother is graduating High School this weekend. My mom is a wreck, my dad is himself, and my brother is high. Well on an emotional High.
Though I did run off a drug dealer today (In small town NC of all places!!!!!). The look on his face was HILARIOUS. The hippie kid who looks like hes on something runs him off, ahh such fun

I took my anger out on monkeys today, playing tug of war with my gf's dog. They got him a chimp toy and he had already torn it up bad, its not my fault it tore about in half. Though I do admit my evil laughter was a bit much. Still. It made me feel much better.

But who should I do (In Pencil) next?
I wanted to do Captain Sao Feng from the movie as well, but since it is coming out this week I think I want to wait and see if Chow Yun Fat flies again or not.
Then again I would love to give Alphone Elric (The suit of armor) a try, armor is fun, and really fits my darker style well.
But I would love to do something else ya know?
Basically I am taking suggestions, no promises lol, as I am very very ADD and am prone to forget

Currently I am working on Harry Potter and Dumblydore on that HP piece. But those I do on a whim. Literally I sit em on the TV and if I get bored with the program I pull it down and do a bit of work.
