I'm carrying it around with me now, in the hopes that I will find free time during some of my classes and will be able to write. My weekends aren't what they used to be, and I havn't had time to adequately write anything over a weekend for almost a year now. Sad, I know.
My writing time has been greatly deminished since I have been spending more and more time hanging out with friends between my homework loads and work schedule. It's making senior year one of the most memorable school years for me, and I'm really happy! However, it has not been good for my writing. The times that I used to spend writing for hours have been taken over by the times I'm now spending with my friends, and I havn't figured out a way to work writing back in quite yet. I will find time, I promise! Please be patient with me!

I am taking some classes that will be huge challenges for me, and I am sure that I will be studying like crazy both semesters. These classes will greatly affect the progress that I had hoped to be able to make during the school year as far as my writing goes. If I'm lucky enough to be able to find any time to write, then I'm lucky enough! Senior year is going to be a lot of fun, but also a lot of hard work on my part.
Work will also greatly affect my writing time. I have talked to my parents, and it looks like I am only going to be allowed to work weekends once I go back to school. I am really bummed because I have been trying to get more hours so that I can earn more money, but Dad is being very stubborn and wants me to be able to focus 100% on school during the week. Completely understandable, but I still wish I could work at least one day during the week. Especially after I asked my boss for more hours, and then another manager has said he will talk to him on my behalf because he said he wouldn’t give me extra hours right now. I would feel so bad if I was scheduled to work a lot during the week, and then have to tell them to cut back again because of school starting. Maybe I could convince Dad to let me work at least one day during the week…. Not sure how that will turn out, but we shall see!

My goal is to write two chapters within the next week. I don’t know what my work schedule is yet, but I usually don’t work more than two days during the week. I hope to use my free time to write, but I have also just started reading an amazing book that I don’t want to put down! It is so hard being torn between the two!
To everyone who has commented on my stories: Thank you! It means a lot to me when I get critique. I’ll try to have more frequent updates. More likely than not, they will be few and far between. I will try and have new chapters written weekly, and have them sent out for editing. I don’t know when I will be getting them back, but I will let everyone know when the chapters have been completed by me.
I’m currently writing chapter 3, and hope to have it finished sometime in the next two weeks. If I’m lucky, I will be free of all the books I’ve been wanting to read and able to focus on Journey as much I would like. I would really like to have the entire story completed before school starts August 18th. Senior year is going to be super crazy, I’m sure, and I don’t think I would be able to hold this off with any hopes of ever completing it if I don’t finish it this summer.

I'm really sorry about that. I've decided to send the completed chapters to a friend to edit them so that I won't have a story with flaws throughout the entire thing. She told me she would print them and mail me the edited verisons, and after fixing my copy, I will update here. I don't know what her schedule is going to be like, and I told her to take her time. But as soon as I have the edited versions of my chapters, I will update the first chance I get!
I've sent the first two chapters to her, and I am still writing chapter 3, so it might be awhile before I have a new chapter uploaded. When I get the first two chapters back, I will revise the uploaded chapters on here.
I am still asking for feedback from readers on all my stories! It means alot to me when I get comments.

I have not received the edited version of chapter 1 yet, so I don't have anything to post. I think that when I get home, I will post it and try my best to continue writing. I haven't had much time in May because of finals and work, but now that I have more week days alone with not a lot to do in the morning and evenings, I hope to get much more writing time in! My goal is to upload a chapter every two weeks, maybe every week if I have the proper motivation. I am hoping to be able to devote this summer to writing. I have missed it a lot during this past school year. So much has happened during the past school year that has steered my time away from writing and I haven't had the time to write as an escape for so long! I have recently been in desperate need for an escape, but also have been super busy with so many things that have come up in my life as well. I am so grateful that I have found time recently to sit back and actually get some writing done. It hasn't been much writing, but it was more than I have done in months! I hope that now that I have started to get back into writing, I will be able to continue it faithfully throughout the summer. Cross my fingers!!
I will try to have new material uploaded before the end of summer. Everything depends on work, my social life, and when I have inspiration. I have spent more time writing today than I have in weeks, and I really enjoyed the short escape into a fiction world. It was amazing, and exactly what I've been needing! My reality has been pretty rocky lately, and to have absolute control over another world was amazing! I hope that I will be able to do this often during this summer.
I ask that when I do start uploading chapters of "Journey: The Road to Happiness", that everyone comments on the chapters and lets me know how it is; if it's bad, please tell me! I'm trying to get into my characters moods and personalities whenever I write, and it's proving to be very difficult. However, I believe that this story will really help me to grow as a writer, and am very much looking forward to writing it! I don't want to give too much away, but I will say that it has six different main characters, who all have very different personalities. I wanted to challenge myself and make it interesting for whoever may read it. Hopefully, I will achieve both of these goals I have set for myself. Whenever I get around to uploading chapters, please let me know if I have come close to accomplishing this goal. I know that it will be a great challenge for me while writing, and hope that those who edit for me will be able to point out differences that will need to be changed to make everything flow better, and easier for my readers.

I do not know how often I will be updating with chapters, but hopefully before this summer. I plan to do alot of editing with this story, and am hoping that my friends will be able to assist me in this area. Because I plan to edit as I am writing, I doubt that updates will be regular. I tend to have a number of flaws in my writings that I don't catch until much later, so I am hoping to avoid these by having other people read and edit my work before uploading on here.

It was an awesome night!!). And I was working almost all day Saturday and Sunday. Despite the time crunches, I was able to work on both stories, and for that I'm gratefull. I feel like I have been neglecting my writing this year, and it makes me really sad. Hopefully I will be able to continue coming back to my personal worlds more often, but that depends on what all is going on in the real world. Life can be so complicated! But I'm not complaining!!

I am trying to wind down the story so that I can start a new one. I don't know what the new story will be about yet, but I have a few ideas. I am wanting something that will not be as hard to write, and that will be able to hold my interest for a long time. Unexpected had it for a while, but I have lost my passion for the story recently. I have been writing it for a year and a half now, and I feel that it is getting really old. For me anyway. I need something new, something that will captivate me and hold my attention for a long time, but I have no idea what type of story I will do now. I plan to start doing detailed outlines for my stories and making character sheets so that I will know my characters and they will be better rounded. I usually form them as I write, and the plot will unfold itself to me, but I learned from Unexpected that I can't do that anymore. I need to have plans for my stories, and I hope that outlines and character designs will help me accomplish my goals of improving as a writer. I also know now that I need to find settings that will help explain things better. Unexpected and The Secret didn't have very good settings, and this is going to be one of the many things that I plan to work on as I continue writing different stories. If you have any suggestions for me, please send me a message, or leave a comment on here. I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you to everyone who has helped me with my stories in any way. I am truly greatful that you share your opinions with me because it tells me what I need to focus on as a writer. The Secret was an easier story to write because I could relate to Alice better than I am able to relate to Isabella and Aiden, but I don’t know if I will do another story about writers. I’m also considering a story somewhat related to The Host by Stephenie Meyer; Sci-fi, but with a romantic twist or a deeper meaning. Just a random idea; I don’t have anything planned yet. I've had the two newest chapters written for a while, but had no time to update until today.
School starts again Monday, so I know that my time will be scarce in the upcoming months. I'm working almost every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. I will update as often as I can, but that also goes for how often I can write, and when I know what to write, which is becoming a problem for this story. When I first began writing Unexpected, I hadn't anticipated being clueless during the writing process. With cluelessness occuring often, I'm finding it difficult to write when I have the time, and if I have the time. Any ideas of how I can shape this to what I want my ending to be, which should be obviouse if you have read all of the chapters, would be a huge help! I'm not planning on dragging this out too much longer, and would like to get to the ending ASAP so that I can begin another story of some sort. I'm not real sure what that will be at this point in time, but I'm sure something will come to me soon! Hopefully.
