I put something up! omg. I can honestly say I'll actually put up more stuff as soon as I drag things in to scan. Which might be this week. Later. Mostly, I have revisions to do so I feel like it's not worth it to actually put up something unless it's like really finished.. and I don't do strictly digital work so it takes time.

Last day of class! And summer is soon, I have projects planned so I hope to put those up too. Especially as my style has really changed and progressed this semester.

And finally, within the coming week I want to get my blog going. It'll be something I'll update during the summer, but mostly it's for my senior year and beyond..



So that's about it. Life is pretty normal!

Life Stuff

So um.

Life is busy. Being an Illustration Junior is a lot of work. That + my job, boyfriend, friends and all the things I do for my faith... take up al my time. I don't even have time to read things for my Liberal Arts classes because I'm so consumed by everything. I've pretty much disconnected myself w/the internet and especially DA because of all this. Infact I just went through 200 deviations and have like all these messages to get to.. which isn't happening. I'm in a lax class right now.. but I have other things to do and other stuff on my mind.

Anyway.. mostly a thanks in advance for comments, favorites and watches.
I have a few finished pieces but most things need to be re-worked.. or in the case of my show poster, redone traditional. Oh Matt and your high (always) expectations of me.

But expect some work up within the coming weeks. Plus a picture of my new tatt I designed and got done.

Woah. Didn't update my journal for a whole semester and then some.
It was a busy one... sort of.

Anyway it's over. I am no longer a Sophmore! Now I move onto my Junior Illustration year at UArts!

So eventually I'll put up a few more good pieces from the semester. And hopefully I'll get to go some artwork for the summer, too. I wanna work on my oil painting skills more and also, stencils! I've been feeling really and truely inspired. So its pretty nice. It makes me excited!

I'll be working full time and part time with two jobs under the same boss and that should be fun. Haha. Till I go crazy anyway.

Life Stuff

Today I had my last crit!! They all went well. Nothing I really need to work on besides learning how to draw ugly people. So yeah. I'm going to do some observations of real people throughout crowded places in Philly. And online. So yeah. I'll probaly scan my observations into scraps too..

I'll try to get my work up progressively. Also, I am doing some stuff that I've been wanting to do during my no school time. But I'm also redoing my phobia and creating an ex.credit assignment for "God is a little girl who changes her mind". So yes.

Hmm... well thats all really. It was a fun semester! I've grown artistically and look forward to another fun, sleepless semester come February.

If you looked at my gallery, would you take me serious as an artist? Despite the fact that I still have old anime pics up? That I have pictures that aren't that good? I don't take devart serious. I wish my gallery was cleaner and nicer but I'm to lazy to clean it up. Oh well. Eh, my heart and head are a mess so everything is getting affected.

College is busy and well. I have a few things done and ready to be put up, so eventually. I'm having a problem with one artwork though. It was done in PS but saved as a jpg but its not working anywhere... oh well. Hmm.. I do love me some illustration though. Not art education, its extra annoying work but I want to be a teacher too so.. yeah. sigh.

Life Stuff

Tomorrow I start my first day as a Sophmore Illustration major! Yay. My first class is Anatomy. I'm pretty excited. Most people I know are. I'm going to be pretty busy with school, work and artwork, maybe I will try to update soon. Right now I am using my sweet new MacBookPro (courtosy of UArts) and all my artwork I is on my HP Notebook, which the backlight in it has died. So sad! And with nor more warranty on it I can't fix it.

Anyway... well. Be prepared, who knows what things this year will bring, hopefully I can put up some work of everything.

City life has been nice and my job is still fantastic. So yeah, all is good. My kitten Azure is still insane but cute and loveable.



So yes. Maybe I will get up that last Panel of my 2D project sometime. Maybe.

Yeah so... if you favorite any of my work, I apoligize if I don't thank you until like weeks later. I'm kind of lazy about it I guess, and plus I only spend limited time on the internet. So I end up letting it build up and find I have like 30 favs over 3 weeks or something. Bah. It's nothing but annoying to let build up.

I don't know, I kind of find myself caring a little less all the time about this whole thing. I mean, why? It gets silly and pointless,. you know. Putting work up for what? Meh oh well. Until I can get my own thing running, I'll just keep on keepin' on. I know I get to develop an online portfolio in Illustration eventually so... yeah.

Yeah so.. moved out of the dorms and into an apartment/house in South Philly and I now live with . Probaly the best choice of roomate ever.

Anyway... we don't have internet access in our apartment, so don't expect any update for awhile. We don't even have a scanner, though I guess we'll get one eventually. Maybe anyway.. might eventually need one when our next semester rolls around and we start Illustration... being as we're both in the same section.

Anywho.. that's all thats really going on besides work. I have a few of my own projects going on so eventually I hope to put up something but also some work from this past semester.

Blah I was tagged by to list 6 random facts about myself. So here goes.


1 - I usually fall asleep easier when I sleep on my side and facing the wall.

2 - I use my fingers when painting with acyrlics, because if I do it a certain way the acrylics blend bettr together.

3 - I once convinced myself I had diabetes by seeing I had all the symptoms, went in for a blood test and came out negative.

4 - In the past year I have changed my hair colors 6 times.

5 - I say Pink different then most people. Peenk.

6 - I hate ramen flavors - shrimp, beef and oriental. I only eat chicken and limeshrimp.. when I eat ramen anyway because it's bad for diets. Which I am on one as I write this..

Here is the deal.

I know I don't put artwork up that often but..
If you comment my work, I will comment you back.

I noticed a lack of comments on my new work as usual, and really the only reason I take the time to put work up is for feedback from strangers. I'm not talking 'favs'.. I like word feedback. You know? Who doesn't. I am an art student and my stuff will get more serious eventually, and of all the people that watch me hardly anyone comments.

Not even the people I take time to comment.
I'd expect the same back you know? Even if you have to spend one second to type out one word, honestly... its not that much a waste of your life. Right?

So now if you don't comment me I won't comment you no matter who you are.
I usually do comment my closer art school friends and okay maybe some of you I still will.
But that's the point.

Watches = Awesome and I thank you on your page.

I like feedback so if to get it I will give it. It's just annoying to put time and effort into something and have like one or two comments.

So has anyone else noticed how really stalker like DA actually is? Seriously. Go to anyone's activity page and you can see every person that have commented on, all recent favs and artworks, recent watches, recent comment on artwork... it's ridiculous. Honestly, who really cares who's all work you regularily comment on? Jeez.

Anywho, end of the year pretty much. Soon comes 2007. This has been a good year for art. But next year, will be better. I hope anyway, what with a new semester of classes starting and in the fall, finally getting to start my major - Illustration.

Well it's almost breaktime.

So.. well I would say expect more art besides the rest of my Illustration story. I don't know though. I do plan on getting some work done, things for Christmas and such you know. Hopefully. Because well I am to poor for anything else but to make pretty art for those I love.

Um.. so yeah this semester is coming to an end. I go back in about 5 weeks and learn about color, figures and irregular objects, and how to mke clay videos and stuff. And I am taking a painting class so that should be interesting. I do like to paint. And well that was what was left anyway.

Sorry I died. Haha.

This is more or less an update to say that.. I have quite a bit of work I hope to put up soon. It just means finishing my unfinished work and then dragging my ass over to the Anderson building of my college to scan it all. But no worries. Soon. = )

Well, I'm still quite the mess. And it's been... almost 2 months since my last journal? More or less I'm a different kind of mess - mess of emotions. Yes.

Soo... well, where to start? Obviously I am getting some artistic-ness done. But hopefully I'll get on the ball and get stuff out. You may seem more poetry though, cause sitting down and writing that stuff is pretty easy. Artwork isn't always, when inspiration has to be found under rocks.

I start college at UArts end of August. I'm SO psyched. SOO psyched. I sorta met one roomie already, and have another to call. Man, living in Philly is gonna be amazing. Plus I have cool kids going with me. What more could you ask for?

And.. well thats pretty much it. Inbetween work, spending time with friends and my b/f... and concerts.. hopefully I'll be able to chill and draw.

It may mean I shall do some updating soon! I have some ideas of stuff I wanna draw - plus I have to make two more really good pieces for my AP exam. So hopefully I'll be updating, for sure.

In other news... I don't know if I've said but I am definitely going to UArts in the fall. It's the only school I got a scholarship too, and I'm financially covered for the most part. It's pretty exciting, 3 of my best guys friends are going too, so that's pretty cool. I look forward to living in the city. =3

And what else? Well not much really. Life is just life, with it's ups, downs and complications. Ya know?

6. I can't stand the feeling of my hair on my neck, which is why my hair often stays short.

Life Stuff

It's been awhile. And yet... nothings really changed. Still don't have a car since the accident. We're going to try and get one is exactly like the one I crashed, only it was a dent and some ugly scratches. I've decided though that I don't care. If we can get the price lowered that'd be great. Everything else I've looked at had something wrong with it, so ya know.. and btw - tomorrow (March 15) exactly a month ago at 7:15am... will have been when my accident happened...

Still have yet to hear from SVA about my scholarship. Oh well, more than likely I'll be going to UArts. I'm a bit annoyed to not know by now, and it's already mid march. And I have to pay my fees by May 1st. So yeah, sucks. Oh well.

Not much going on art wise. I'd have stuff maybe but.. well, art class is lacking and in my Saturday class, everything is a sculpture... I just haven't taken pictures yet. I have a neat one I'm working on though, but it's w/the teacher.

Lets see... anything else? No not really.. just thought I'd update since it's been awhile. Sorry I have nothing great to say. Kinda bummed how our NAHS movie night is turning out - no one wants to go. Oh well. We're trying... I just hate how I'm putting such effort into everything for it. *sigh* Well, that's the job of a president. =3

Life Stuff

Yeah so I didn't say anything right away since I put up a journal beforehand..

I was in a car accident this past Wednesday (Feb. 15th) and amazingly survived and so did my brother. He had only a few scratches, thank god. But, my car was totally smashed up and so we put it in the junk yard. So it's gone and now, any money I have is going to a new one. Wonderful.... because I was gonna put my tax money to those college fees I have to pay. Except I can't... so yeah. If my dad could just give me some money, I'd totally be all set... to at least have enough to consider getting a cheap car..

So yeah... I just thought I'd tell everyone, since I've already told most people.. well really only through Myspace. Also, I'm going to be working alot w/Photoshop for awhile so you'll probaly see more work from me in that area. It turns out most illustrators use that medium for their work. And with the ideas I've picked up from other amazing illustrators out there, I think I could do some neat things. It's just to bad I don't have Adobe Illustrator. Oh well.

So... I went to my UArts interview like a week ago. And I was accepted. I should be getting my pretty little letter soon. Hurray. And by the end of the month I should find out what my reward money and scholarships.. etc. are from both UArts and SVA.

Speaking of the evil money... I need $1300 for SVA, both housing deposit and enrollment fee. I think UArts is about $800. And plus, I just paid about $130 on a new tire for my car, cause it decided to pop from a nail yesterday. And I found out that I have to eventually replace my other front tire... and even more so eventually all my tires. This sucks cause I really don't make enough money... about $300 a paycheck. That's if I get the hours I ask for. But this pay period, I'm only gonna get like 1-3 days worth of work... cause some people are spiteful. Suuucks. Oh well. Maybe some of you wanna buy art? Commission me? Hee.

I get to go to my dad's this weekend. That'll be cool. It's been awhile and I miss my dad. =3 Found out Arnold is going to be getting adopted w/in the next month, and then his name will be changed to Dustin. SO hurray new sibling...

That's about it. Life right now is all about stuff for Movie Night that NAHS is sponsoring in a month. And money. And art. Blaaahs.

Hey hey! So I called UArts... since they called me Friday and I missed the call. Turns out... all 3 of my classes I pick... full. What the heck? This like never happens to me.. and it's funny cause I told KylePalmer today that I always got my first choice. Haha... she told me the other choices I could pick.. they all suck. So I went with Sculpture. *shrug* Better than Watercolor or Port. Prep... blaah.

So my art teacher told me today that I look much happier and prettier as of late. I take that to be very good... very good indeed. =3

And I hate... hate stupid [link]... for some fudging reason, I cannot get a PIN number at all. I need it for Fafsa which I have to have done by Feb. 1st. Maaan...

Just man.

At least life is really looking up, despite these silly things.

That's right! Even though no one really knows what the hell is going on... I really think I'm gonna be okay now. All because of Mae. I love them... they make my life feel good, when everything is all crumbly and sucky. "Awakening" and "Anything" were my spirit lifters. I finally think I'll have an easier time moving on... I really do. I feel like life is looking up... just a bit.

I also think that if my scanner doesn't start working again soon.. cause it did, that I'll buy a new nice one. Not by myself... maybe I can get my mom to help a bit, though she's helped with alot of money issues later. I think I get my nice paycheck beginning of Feb, so maybe that weekend... though Sat classes start then, too. Cause I am in an art mood and I wanna upload some stuff... like new tattoo designs. And my comics.

Sooo yeah. It's time to start re-enjoying being alive...

Merry Christmas! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season!

Right now I'm at my dad probaly till the 29th. I wouldn't expect any art though in this time... it depends. I have college applications to work on and essays to write. I've already finished sliding all 20 pieces of my work that I'm using for my scholarship. My mom is supposed to be getting them developed for me while I'm here. So that'll be good...

Anyway, um that's really it. I'm sorry I haven't been putting art up. Most of the only things I produce are artwork for school and stuff. And I don't always take the time to photograph it... And even if my scanner were working, I wouldn't have anything to scan. Though I think there is some stuff on my dads comp. that I didn't put up last time... hum...

So I hope you all enjoy your holiday season and get some nice things! I did. Remember the real reason for the season.

No my scanner is still broken. Not like it matters, I haven't been drawing much except whatever I have to do in art. Kinda on a lack of inspiration. Right now I don't care cause I'm sick but getting over it. Probaly gonna be stuck w/this cough for awhile...

Anyway, so I went to my personal interview at SVA Tuesday. I was accepted at SVA. So I could pretty much go, but I have to wait and see if I get the scholarship first. If I do, then I probaly will. Who knows. Just thought I'd let you guys know. =3

I have to do some work on my portfolio... mostly still life stuff, I have some ideas. Right now I have to finish my stupid Art hw. Blaah. And I'm planning on sliding my artwork the week of the 19th - 23rd. If I can... otherwise I hope the 1st week of school in January will be okay. Everything is just crazy right now... I hate it. Oh well.

I'd say things would get easier... but I know they never will.

And I hate the weather. It makes me sick..

I was tagged by .... so now I have to tell you all 20 things about myself. =3

- I was baptised October 28th 2001, but I only go to church when I'm in FL.

- My favorite type of weather is Clear, Sunny days when it's cold outside, but not like bitter freezing cold.

- Growing up I wanted to be a famous singer or whatever, cause I thought I sang pretty good. But that was a stupid dream..

- Through elementary school, I was always the tallest girl in my class, most of the time taller than alot of the guys (except this guy Darrell)

- I like spontaneosity and suprises

- I loved the Power Rangers when I was younger. My brother had all the toys and I would always play with his stuff over my stuff (barbies.... bleh)

- When I was younger, most of my friends were guys, and we were always running around outside. Today most of my friends are girls..

- I've died my hair almost every color except orange... which I really want to do.

- I used to listen to Country music growing up, because that's what my parents listened to, and I loved it

- I can only draw with a mechanical pencil

- For one day, I'd really like to know what it's like to be a guy...

(Dammit... right now I can't think because Arnold is talking talking talking...)

- I used to have a problem that when my dad would make me laugh to much, I would pee my pants. This was when I was way younger ago... (like 10ish years ago)

- I laugh at almost anything...

- The first game I ever completed was Secret of Mana for SNES

- I would like to have fraternal boy/girl twins... but that can never happen since it's hereditary..

- I like chocolate but I hate chocolate ice cream...

- The only time I'm out in public without makeup on is when I go to the beach, pools or long road trips

- I used to have "betty bangs"...

- I hate all types of bugs, even the harmless ladybugs and fireflies...

- I only wear boy shorts during the summer... or skirts.

There ya go. So great huh? Blaaah whatever...

Anyway... within these next 3 or 4 days, I'll be putting up alot of art since I'm at my dads and his scanner works. After that, I don't know when I'll be putting up anymore art. Sorry... I don't really want to spend money on a scanner right now... since I have to concentrate on Christmas stuff for people (since I bought my IPod and have more than enough money left over..). So yeah. But that's okay, it's not like you'll die if I don't put anything up. =3

... because right now, my scanner is broken. I have no idea how the hell this happened. It's very annoying... I just tried like the other day to scan another picutre of some portraits I did (of a similiar theme to "Pulled Under" and "A Glimpse"). The light comes on, and once it did a scan but in a way where I couldn't configure the scan first. Then it just decided not to work period. So grr. Very annoying. So I don't know when I'll get stuff up right now. If this scanner is done, chances are I won't have a new one anytime soon. Cause it's not like my family is made of money... and no way in hell am I buying my own...

Also, I'm supposed to have a personal interview with SVA soon. My mom forgot to call today... but she will tomorrow. It'll be a Tuesday in 2 weeks. Then I gotta get slides done for a scholarship thing and submit everything by February 1st. No way am I gonna make the early application deadline of December 1st. I wasn't even gonna go, but if I get a scholarship I'll go... plus since I'm so poor I should have no problem getting enough financial aid... Otherwise... I'll go to Mercer County I guess. *shrug* I dunno what I'll do if I don't get a scholarship... (and I doubt I wouldn't get accepted... Jarrett and Niki have w/there portfolios).

Lets see what else? Well... HARRY POTTER comes out Friday! And I'm going to see it Saturday! I'm so excited. Plus... I'll be at my dads for Thanksgiving (23rd - 27th). Oh yeah... I can scan stuff then. Looks like you guys got lucky..! (Really rather me...)

So that's what's up. Expect alot to be said of what's going on... afterall I am a senior and college is next year... craziness.

Life Stuff

So... I hope everyone had a good Halloween. I got to work... fun. I'm really annoyed right now about my schedule at work. I work today for 8 1/2 hours, which is fine, but then the only other days I work are Monday and Friday. And Friday is a double pay day and I'm only working like 4-5 hours.. and that's annoying. I was put on the schedule for yesterday, even though I'm supposed to have off. My boss messed up... because she forgot about me, as normal. Guess I'll talk to her when I see her tomorrow. She'll probaly get mad at me, but I don't think she has any right because the manager I work w/told me not to worry about it and that she would see me Sunday. Ugh...

Plus this week, we only have school Monday - Wednesday. Whcih is fine... I have off Thursday so I wanna do something.. like go shopping or get my hair done, or do something with Niki and Vicki. I can't do anything w/ Jarrett this week cause he has college stuff to go to all week and plus, he just got promoted to Cashier at work so he'll also be working. And now I have to worry about my schedule again because I can't come in till like 4 on Sunday because it's National Portfolio Day @ Tyler...

So I'm kinda annoyed and bummed right now... I dunno what to look forward to or what. And I also have to get some work done of the set for the fall play. So I have to stay after some and paint this week. I don't mind.. I'm helping out Mr. T (my choir teacher who is in charge of the Fall Play Crew this year).

At least Harry Potter comes out next week!! Excting... hopefully Jarrett won't be working so we can go see it together. =3 Hopefully I'll be able to see the Fall Play also..

So that's my life right now. It kinda sucks... but whatever. Oh well...

Life Stuff

Thought I'd make an update on what's been going on lately...

- Had a personal interview with Pratt today.. but got kinda lost... and was a bit late. Apparently the woman left before my appointment. We left her a note, kinda asking if she could reschedule me anyway tomorrow after 5... but I doubt it'll happen. Oh well...

- I did end up having the personal interview today with Pratt. The woman who looked at my work, Tiffany, liked everything and told me that my work was what they were looking for. She said myy use of ink and line quality was good and everything.. etc. She said she wanted me to use more color in relation to my concentration, emotions, in a more conceptual way. Also, if I apply to Pratt, that part of the application is done... so that's cool. =3 And yeah... so that's what happened! I'm glad I got to go today...

- Today our model in our figure sculpture class at UArts got sick... she kept leaving and stuff cause she didn't feel good. It wasn't to annoying.. but I felt bad for her. Some girl in our class ran out of the room, cause she's like afraid of throw up... or something.

- Work isn't to bad... I get Saturday's off for sure now. So all is good.

- My driver's test is in a week and a day... whoo! I think..

- Thanksgiving break I'm going to my dads and I get to see Arnold, my pre-adoptive stage 8yr. old brother.

- Not sick anymore! Now I just cough and have a runny nose. Hooray.

- I won the election in NAHS as president!! =3 Horray.

- I can't find a tape of my favorite anime as a child.. called "Serendipity: The Pink Dragon"... but it's on Amazon for like $30... it's very upsetting, not being able to find it...

- Newspaper comic is due in a week... and I have no idea what to do.

- SVA Application process thing going on on the 26th.. need to decide If I'll go with Niki..

Yeah so that's it. Like all that's going on.. probaly other crazy things like how I get to suffer through the week because I know once again, my emotions are going to be haywire. It's already started. Blah... so yeah. Just thought I'd mention some stuff in my life right now. And I'm not really on much cause of work and stuff. Work, Art and everything else keeps me like sooo busy. And I have to be halfway done w/another art hw by Friday... and I have NO idea what the fork I'm gonna do... grr.

Life Stuff

So yesterday was my first day of Saturday class and my first day back to work. My class at UArts is Figure Sculpture. Jarrett and I had a hard time finding the class... it's hidden like way in the back. Heh. It wasn't to bad... figure sculpting may be a little tougher than I thought. And plus, everyone else in that class is like so good at it... oh well. It should be interesting though..

And work was the same as it has always been. Apparently, Burger King got worse after I left. That's what I was told. It's alot busier than it had been when I was working there, too. But just about all the same people are there so that's fine. I'm really tired though... but I'll get used to it again. Today I have to get my schedule fixed because for some reason I've been given 3 days off. That's annoying... and I need to see if I can get my schedule for next week set up..

Besides work and Saturday classes, I also re-registered for the SAT the other night. I'll be taking it again November 5th... and unforunately I have to miss Saturday school. And I need to start really studying. Blaaah... sucks so much. Anyway, I'm gonna pass time before I have to go to work again....

So I got a job... at Burger King! Again. Haha. XD I'm so glad I finally got another job even though it's there. But know what the best part is?!

We close at 8!!! Not at 10 anymore! Rock on. So I can get off at 9 or 9:30. Awesome. I'll get sleep this time! Less hours and good pay. Whoo. *dance* Hee. =3 But I was told I have to come in, and can't pull stunts like I did last year. Like asking for the day off, not getting it and then not coming in anyway. So I'll be a good worker this year. She just better give me off holidays if I have to go visit my dad in that time. So yeah. Plus some of the 'old crew' is still there. Like Tracy and Ernest. So it'll all be good.

Anyway... in other news.. I'm going to start Saturday school again. Starts next Saturday, October 1st. I'm excited about it. It's fun going to Philly w/friends. So yeah. I think I'm really happy right now. Everything is going good... for the most part anyway. At the moment...

I have to find a new job soon. I'm giving it a few weeks.. cause I need time for other things right now. Although I'm tired of being home right now.. but there's only so many place to apply around here, cause everything is so far away. Sucks. And mom is like pushing for me to apply back to BK... sorry no. I'm not going to let it be the pillow I fall back on for comfort, because I know I could work there again.. but why? I'm home! So happy... I spent all day today reorganizing and cleaning my room, so my back hurts. And yesterday I spent the afternoon with Jarrett, which was alot of fun. It made me really happy.

But anyway... I'm glad to be home. Maybe I'll get some art up since I really don't have much to do. I have to get working on my altered book.. fun. So you'll probaly see some of that before September starts. Don't know if I'll be doing much otherwise... it all depends on my mood.

Well, Ashley, my cousin who is up visiting for some time... was supposed to leave tomorrow to go home to Texas. But.. she won't be leaving till the 3rd, because of the Tropical Storm. I guess no flights are going out tomorrow. So because she's leaving on the 3rd... I want to go home on the 2cd. It would mean 2 trips for dad... and him traveling alone home from Baltimore on the 3rd... but then if we left that day it would mean going home like late that day... and I wanna see Jarrett when I get home. I don't know what the hell to do. GRR. It's making my head worse... and I dunno, I feel so frustrated and depressed and... gah.

So yeah... I think I just need to sleep. But I don't wanna really... so confused...

Guess what is soo special about today? It's Jarrett and I's 6 month anniversary. =3 Yes... it's only 6 months. But, still that's a long time. And it's been such an amazing time too... I'm so happy. And I bet the next 6 months will be even better.

Well I just finished the Half Blood Prince today. I got it from my mom this past Saturday when she dropped by Jarrett's. I really loved this book... it was so sad though. Almost made me cry. But I did love it so... and if you haven't seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet, you should. Because it was a really great movie..

Well... we're going off to the waterpark soon. I feel a little sickish right now.. probaly cause I've been worrying all morning. And I now have a headache....again. I've been getting them for the past few afternoons..

Life Stuff

Soo... well I'm in Dover. I've been here since Saturday afternoon. Haven't done much... yet. But thats fine.

Lets see... we're going to the beach Wednesday. Supposed to go fishing sometime, too. This Saturday I'm taking a trip back up to Jersey to spend the day with Jarrett. We'll probaly see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which I'm excited about. Maybe hang out at the mall...

Then on the 23rd we're going up to New York for the day. ALL day. We're leaving at like 4am... gah. And there's 5 of us.. and 5 seats in the car. Hooray what fun. XP I'm looking forward to it... just not the 3hr drive with who knows how much sleep.. My Step-mom Liz says we might stay overnight.. might. I dunno if I want to or we will or what. Those are all the plans as of yet. I know my dad has a bar-b-q on the 17th... dunno what else.

HBP comes out Saturday! Yay! I won't get to read it till I get home though... cause Amazon is delivering it to my house... ah well. Exciting.

Whoo. So the last day of school was Tuesday...and now it's summertime! Doesn't really feel like it though. But anywayz...going to working during the summer, of course. And on July 8th, my Dad is coming to pick us up and we're spending a month with him in Dover, and then I'll be back on the 3rd of August. I have to be back for Jarrett's birthday.

Anywayz... about my job, well, I'm going to be trying to transfer over to the BX and be leaving Burger King. Tired of working their. I put in my resignation paper...but I have to pull it out to transfer when I get home in August. I really..really hope they'll accept my transfer and I can work at the BX. Hopefully it'll be alot better than BK... and at least I'll be getting about the same pay... Wish me luck. =3 Because this whole situation is stressful.

Can't wait till Friday! Jarrett and I are going into Philly for a few hours. It's kinda a last time for us to really hang out, what with him starting work Monday...and me having a job too. Kinda sucks. But that's life. We'll find time to spend together through everything. =3

So... guess what happened today? Got on the bus to go home, and the bus driver was telling me about seeing my picture (the charcoal/pastel self-portrait) and how much she liked it. Then she asked if I drew things for people and I said yeah. So she wants me to draw from two pictures of her neices and nephews for her sister for her birthday. Guess how much she offered to pay me?? $250. For both...so like $125 for each pictures. Pretty awesome, huh? Especially because I need to money...for a car. So yeah. And I'm beginning to think I may not be able to get enough in the summer from my job. So yup. I'm kinda excited about this...

So also, called Marie-Walsh Sharpe....to find my place on the alternate list. Well, turns out like everyone who was a finalist accepted, and she said I should go ahead and make my summer plans. It sucks...in a way. But...I guess it'll make life somewhat easier....now I just need to decide what month would be best to visit my dad. I'm thinking August...but then it depends on my cousin. It also depends if my mom would let me go to this concert on July 16th...Meh... *sigh*

Yeah so.... this weekend on Base, their's an Air Show. There hasn't been one since 2000 so it's like a really big thing. So they've opened up the otherside of base (not the housing side) for everyone to go to. Now, that's cool for all the off-base people....but not cool because everything on base is closed (BX and Commissary) and like, the only place open are the Ft. Dix Shopette....and Burger King. Guess who's working this weekend too....when TONS of people are expected to show up to this? Haha...me. Sucks...it's good for the co. but...meh. I hope things go well...I really don't wanna put up with any BS from customers...

Yup so thats all thats going on really. Soon we have finals though...and our last day of school is the 21st...

So Prom is tomorrow. Can't believe it already is. So crazy. But I'm excited...it'll be fun.

So anywayz, next Friday we're having an AP Solo Art show. Basically...I'm going to be like busy preparing for that all this week up until the day of, the 27th. At school I finish matting all my work. But now I have to make 20 invites and a nameboard. Plus, type up my pricelist. Of course, my invited are all hand made/cut outs that I'm piecing together. None will be alike...so it's going to take me awhile. But oh well. It'll be worth it...I mean, how awesome would it be to have an invitation that is like no other just for yourself? Pretty damn cool I think. And since theres only 20, I get to be choosy about who I hand them out to. I'll take pictures and put them up here when I complete them.

Ugh...I really hate allergies. God...I've had like the worst runny nose all day. Coughing..my head is pounding. And my eyes burn..I'm so tired. Blaah...

Oh guess what! I got a new kitten! She is so frickin' adorable. Her name is Mango, and she is a Calico. I don't know how old she is...but she like fits in both your palms if that helps. She lives in my room, and our dog doesn't want to eat her anymore...just smell her butt...

SAT today. Not to bad...kinda easy. But I'm sure I still did bad. Especially on the last math section...and what else? I found the perfect prom shoes. Now...I have to learn to walk in them.

Well...I have to call people tonight, pull together my mother's day gift and work on something (I hope) for our schools Lit. Magazine...

I hate...when people don't see that there's more meaning to something, than just what you see. Like, they look at something, and state the obvious, but completely miss that maybe, just maybe this piece has a real meaning to it. All they see is the words, and the picture...but nothing else. Well...shocking news today. Even though I wasn't there to hear it with my own ears, I heard all about it anyway. Mr. Curtius, our art teacher, is going to be leaving us. It sucks for our group, well us that are Juniours this year, as next year we'll be ending with someone new. Someone who may not have a clue to what they're doing, that could push us in the wrong direction. And....I dunno. Like, Niki and I are talking about it and we're both on the same wavelength of it's suckiness. I mean, it took me 3 years to warm up to him, and be totally comfortable in his class. Now, he's leaving. I just know...next year won't be good. Chances of getting someone as good as or better than him seem slim... *sigh* It's just like....I feel abandoned. Oh well....thats life...

*yawn* Finally here....in FL. My legs hurt. It is so uncomfortable, when you've sat for so long...even though, I was comfortable sitting. Yeah. Tired, so I don't think I sound coherent. When we walked in the door, my step-dad said something about my shoes. And I was like, mumbling something...looking at my pants strings that were dragging, going to say "Oh thats my pants not shoes." And realized, I'm supposed to take my shoes off at the door, and not put them on the carpet. BTW- Cingulars bars piss me off. I swear, I had them in places that looked dead, and they died in places with lots of buildings. Like, after Jarrett and I decided to stop talking, cause the bars kept disappearing, I had like 4 bars for forever. Grrr. lol.

Well....I think I should clear my messages on here and shower...and go to sleep. Even though, I slept like...so much on the trip. And as it turns out, we do have a scanner here. It's part of the printer...

I can't wait to talk to Jarrett tomorrow.

Life stuff


I feel soo....tired. And horrible right now. It sucks....so much. I just spent like an hour packing for FL. I had to write out a list of everything I'm taking...then make like symbols for where everything is going to be. I only packed half my clothes because half are in the wash. All my art supplies and PS2 are put away. I still have to get together bits of stuff....probaly do that Sat. afternoon before I leave. That's right...we're leaving Sat afternoon. It sucks. This is going to be the worst car ride ever...

But...I never knew packing was so tiring. It's never worn me out or made me feel this bad ever. And I just feel...sick. I'm so torn between going and not wanting to go....mm...*sigh*

Had to whine somewhere....no one to talk to right now, as no one I can really talk to is online...no one I can call....and no one reads my LJ anyway....so....yeah. Well, tomorrow I'm sure I'll feel better. I wish it would last forever...

Life stuff


Well, this will probaly be my only chance to update this thing for awhile. The next few nights I'll be busy, and this weekend I'm leaving for FL for Spring Break. I have to start packing tomorrow, and Friday I'll be with Jarrett..and Saturday night hopefully hanging out with him again, if my parents are nice enough not to make us leave Saturday afternoon after my Sat. class...

I don't know wether or not I will be updating. I plan on getting alot of art type stuff done over this time. Like I have a few ideas for my Altered Book. Plus, I have a piece for a contest thing to do, where I have to make an artwork that resembles Salvador Dali's work...and try to keep it in my concentration. And of course..some sketching wouldn't hurt. Always room for improvement. More than likely though, I will be putting photos up that I'll take while I'm there. If I can find anything good. I always get cool pictures when we go to the beach. =3 Okay, well, I hope anyone who is going on their Spring Break soon enjoys it also. Hopefully I'll come back with some pretty art.

Edit: Screw it....I'm not doing the Dali thing after all. It's giving me a headache and like...frustrating me. He's just to amazing....
