I'm taking a new approach to my work now. I've been very frustrated with other people lately, and somehow this has led me to some very dark inspiration. You may see this come across in my work from here on out. One too many bad experiences with people lying, fighting and betraying me and each other. This world's going to shit, and I only hope that my children don't live long enough to see it become the hell that it's destined to be.

So as I was drawing yesterday, for the first time in roughly 3 months, I got to thinking about my art style. I finally feel at peace with it. Like I don't have to try so hard to be better or even as good as the artists I admire. I feel like I have evolved into a comfortable, compitent artist. I received a lot of encouragement from people over the years, but I believe it was the advice from one artist in particular that helped me arrive at this station. And so I say, thanks... you know who you are.

Graphic Artery Media has officially found its DA home. I began this humble media company two years ago, and opened a DA account to display some examples of what I could do. As it turns out, I had no idea I was capable of what I have been doing over the past two years. It is with this thought in mind, that I start fresh here. Welcome to the on-line portfolio of Gwen D'Arcy, owner of Graphic Artery Media.
Check out the comic book studio I am currently working for:
